Although I love Topolino comics (Italian comics) which have great art styles, I'm still sad that other comics like the Dutch ones are pushed aside, because those comics also have a good style, like this one in this photo.

I don't know the author of this work unfortunately, but it shows Donald Duck and Daisy Duck with their nephews (Huey, Dewey and Louie) and their nieces (April, May and June) celebrating Christmas and how the children got presents. The real Duck family! To all who celebrate, I wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Duckmber 2023 Day 6: Quack Pack Tribute

Decided to redraw a promo image featuring the main crew all together.

This edit is basically a DuckTales version of one of the “BETTER” memes.

This is also a headcanon of mine but it could be considered canon especially when you take May and Bradford’s interaction in “The Last Adventure” into account.

May: “So did we do good?”

Bradford: “I needed Webby to come willingly, not as a prisoner. Now, I’ll never find the last Missing Mystery! So, no, you didn’t “do good”. Your efforts are as flawed as your grammar.”

It just makes sense to me that that would be one of the first things they’d help the girls with.

Donald and his family celebrate Easter - Redraw from my old drawing - Duck comics and Duckverse - Happy Easter!

Happy Easter to everyone! Admittedly, I didn't have time to do some specials related to Easter, although there will be some in the coming period, but for now I did a redraw from my old drawing, only in a better way. Anyway, this is an old text from four years ago when I drew that old drawing: "Here comes that day. Hallelujah! I wish you all a happy Easter! I care that the coronavirus rules, since I’m certainly in isolation, but I won’t let myself celebrate one of the biggest Christian holidays, which is Easter. I know that it is a holiday that has many pagan features and characteristics, but it is certainly not to be forgotten and that it is a holiday dedicated to the Resurrection of Christ. This is as far as the comics themselves and it has nothing to do with Ducktales and this is actually taken from Topolino comics (Italian comics-on Italian “Buona pasqua!”) and I did a bit of my own. Since they are all ducks and geese (Brigitta is a goose), and it would really be a shame to eat real eggs, here are actually colorful eggs, but chocolate eggs. chocolate but decorated eggs. There are also decorations there. I failed to draw everything as far as decoration was concerned. Grandma Duck herself made Easter cakes for Donald’s nephews (Huey, Dewey and Louie), and the nephews themselves are very happy about it. Donald and Daisy are definitely in love with each other and have colored eggs together. What about Scrooge? He is disguised as an Easter Bunny and runs away from Brigitta MacBridge who is howling him. Certainly for the Easter kiss. Certainly one family reunion for that holiday and I wish everyone a Happy Easter! Happy Easter to all who celebrate!"

I mostly drew now differently, but in my own style. My only apologies for the bad background. I hope you like this drawing and I wish everyone a happy Easter and Easter holidays!

I hope you are ready to celebrate Quack Pack Week properly and have prepared various surprises. Of course, it's not a problem if someone is late, and posts it later this week and next week, we're certainly patient. Donald, Daisy, Huey, Dewey and Louie can go on new adventures, and it's up to you to decide how you present it during Quack Pack Week, which we'll be celebrating this week, and we're certainly open next week and until the end of February, for case, if someone is late for various reasons, which is completely justified. Ducktales reboot is one of those rare occasions where Donald and Daisy's relationship appears to be healthy and balansed. It makes me believe that these two may actually have some hope, as a couple.

Wait, Daisy wanted to kill herself?! WHAT?! WHY?! I never understood that part.

I assume you mean the classic short "Donald's Dilemma" from 1947? And to this scene:

Let me emphasize right away that it was just an imagination, not a real event and a pure projection, because Daisy Duck lost the only person she loved, and that is Donald Duck. In that classic short, a vase of flowers fell on Donald and he became a different man, even a very talented singer and drove Daisy away from him. Daisy tried to get him back, but to no avail. Donald treated her very coldly. Helpless, Daisy went to a psychiatrist for help and finally realized that she had to hit him with a vase to get him back. And in the end she succeeds and Donald returns to Daisy Duck.

Admittedly, I don't understand why they call it Donald's dilemma, when it's more Daisy's dilemma and it was about her, but I guess they called it that because Donald was much more famous then than Daisy Duck.

And yes, I think this classic short did a good job of showing Daisy's feelings where she wasn't a bitch, as unfortunately it was shown in other classic shorts as well as comics where she behaved worse so I understand why people hate her. But this classic short showed how much Daisy really loves Donald and I wish they would show that in the comics and new cartoons where Daisy would feel guilty and try to get Donald back in any way possible, not Donald. Certainly no scenes with suicides. Although I doubt Disney will ever do that, given the current disastrous state they are in. Maybe comic book artists and writers can do something about it.
