Joshua Moen: The result of an affair between JFK and a lesbian dominatrix, and a relative of Albert Fish, the House of Plantagenet, removed from power by the War of the Roses and placed in British Knighthood, Josh Moen wanted to be an economic journalist, working at a warehouse, reporting sales goods to corporate and other firms, as a traveling salesman.  Now, he’s an endocrinologist, playing out his dreams as House, the TV character, a Jesuit role teaching anyone who steals TV to be a Robutussin Juggalo, with House’s insights, lines written just for him by Jesuits, former police who went down for rape and murder, but were given pass/fail degrees, to help the police with their crime problem.  Lupus, Dave predicts, will be Moen’s downfall.  Jamaican Jerk.

Jeff Niemera: A 4chan mod, and corporate spy, Jeff Niemera is a psychopathic personality disorder, as evidenced by his 1600 on the SATs, a perfect score, prior to the raising of the ceiling of SAT scores, found racist by Asian-Americans because a lower score means extra help, and a better career, in management, unless you get an 800, you heard about the 1600 rule, and wanted to be a police officer (a DPW worker is what we give you, probably the crew tech, what passes as a manager - the guy that preps the equipment).  Jeff Niemera is a Tuscan Gypsy, specializing in the lira market, to cheat on you, with your wife, and fuck her gently, to discover your flaw, alienating entire restaurant chains for the Canondroga, by ordering lobster sauce from Chinese restaurants when he isn’t on the phone with them, in someone else’s home.  Luckily, Dave buys lobster sauce with shrimp inside the container, the actual lobster sauce.  Despite being banned from pork fried rice, because Dave’s old attempt to lose his virginity wasn’t a hooker (until the discovery was made, in Dave’s flaw, and multiple orgasm analingus and doggystyle was discovered), Dave still quite enjoys local hotspots.

Masha Sheineina: A medical student, and a real life doctor, Masha was cursed with a man’s name, that Dave once attempted to correct, by spelling it, “Moesha”, on his phone, by Ivan was quick to correct him, knowing that it is very important to respect our forefathers, as both Gentiles and Jews.  Masha was Dave’s contact at Brandeis, for a couple years, on Dave’s longterm operation to keep drugs out of Harvard, by getting Masha’s entire drug dealing posse robbed by Lincoln and the “News Zeppelin”, his hypnotic transer array method of personal oration over a drug deal.  Now, Masha has to have a salary, and work at a hospital, and despite being overly pleasant and never making a medical error, they won’t let her be a dental hygienist.  She’s actually good at her job, marking her as a failure in medicine, and a mobster.  Dr. Golden had a similar problem, when he went to prison, and kept setting up sexual assaults, despite wanting very dearly to serve in the Vietnam War.

Kristy Long: The identical twin of Kelly Kathleen, Kristy Long was attracted to Ivan Tomasic because of his freakishly large penis, still held within Lotus Position, making it even more ridiculous and huge.  Despite getting fat because of the size of the penis (and mysteriously matching Kelly’s weight, a simultaneous increase), Dave was somehow attracted to Kelly, but not for the right reasons.  Kelly, worked at a video store, and the Charlebois “Batcave” resource, is Blockbuster Video, shut down by Quentin Tarantino, the Riddler (a Rabbi posing as a Catholic priest, a pedophile).   Dave was briefly made her comic book expert,and Dave was consulted on the meaning of the character, “Batwoman”, a flirt thrown at her by an African Hollander Jew, with a bowler hat.  The company in Amsterdam, hemorrhaged trillions of dollars, and Kristy is now a CIA agent.

Ben “B-Rock” Carl: King Penny, a local hacker out of Fitchburg College and a sandup comedian, posing as “Brian Monaghan”, a local lawyer bullied by the Mob, came into Dave’s life on the freeway robbery.  B-Rock, is an MI-6, Canadian Mounted Patrol veteran, the organization fronted by the Carnegie Institute.  Involved in a scheme, to make Anthony Hannigan famous and rich, by killing the actor meant for his part, “C-Money”, and then replacing Zsaz, a part meant for Headhunter’s actor, with Crispus Allen, Franklin Spencer, a Marine and DC Comics fan who has no idea that Dave Charlebois, isn’t the Joker, his favorite comic book character (Franklin’s favorite character, Dave Charlebois prefers Heathcliff, the children’s cartoon for the Montreal Mafia, MI-6′s “scotch” division of grass dealers, Bruce Wayne).  The real Crispus Allen, dumps a body on you, for a homicide charge, if they suspect you’re a politician, that hasn’t been paddled, by a female state senator.  Dave blew that shot, by seeing Mistress Lucinda, and busting her pimp that carved up a runaway actress in the basement while Dave was fucking, releasing George Lucas from his contract, a similar frame, with the same pimp’s father.

Cam Hollopeter: An Uzbeki framed for a pie insult related to Calvinism, by Josh Moen, also known as “Cryogen Bison” on M3′s early days, Dave came to M3 to avenge Cam Hollopeter, the battle growing so fierce that it made it into Borat, the film, with Uzbeki Jews being called “assholes”, Moen’s powers mighty.  But not as mighty, as Lupus.  One blow, is all it takes, for Batman to kill you.  No matter how long the battle lasts.

Stephanie Tomasic: Ivan Tomasic’s little sister, and an ardent pro-life supporter, she works at Planned Parenthood, killing the children of the poor, for being pro-choice, and refusing arranged or trapped marriage.  There are real abortion clinics, but Planned Parenthood isn’t one, evidenced by Kevin Smith featuring Planned Parenthood policy, in Dogma.  Stephanie Tomasic, escaped all reprieve from Dave Charlebois; until she realized it was Green Arrow, an affair with the First Lady, Dolly Madison, and by Arrow’s Light, the Viennese Dragon she feared in her sleep, was her own brother, recruited by Dave Charlebois, as his Bowman.

It had been a year, but it felt longer. The day Vader had waited for had finally arrived—the day when he would see his sweet little angel again—but as he stepped off the ship and onto Naboo, he realised he was nervous.

What if Luke hated him? What if Luke had never fully recovered, and blamed him for it?

Still Vader continued on his path, into the garden... and then he felt someone behind him. Slowly, fearing what he would see, he turned around...and froze.

He couldn't believe his eyes.

There was Luke, wearing the most brilliant smile on his face...and, for the first time in his life, he looked really, truly happy.

“Father!”

He was wearing clothes more colourful than he’d worn in the last fourteen years, in a thousand beautiful shades of blue, his cheeks rosy and face tanned. Of course: the school year had been over for several weeks by now, though the work of the Empire had not been, and Luke had spent a lot of time out on the Lake Country with his… friends. The Naberries had been most accommodating for him.

Now… Vader just stared.

That was his son.

His son.

He looked so, so happy.

He pattered down the garden path of Varykino, to where Vader was standing, awkward, on the edge of the estate. He was aware that the Naberries were inside, were all staying there for the holiday while Vader dropped by to see Luke, and Vader found himself reluctant to go closer. This was Luke’s happy family tree, the perfect life he’d built for himself, that he deserved. Vader should not step in to ruin it.

But then his son was two steps away from him and had scooted to a halt, bouncing on the balls of his feet. Vader took a moment to study him in even more detail: he was taller, broader—Jedi training with Ahsoka was paying off—and lines around his eyes betrayed an abundance of the broad, bright grins he was currently bestowing on Vader like they were suns and stars to give away.

“Luke,” Vader said, and when Luke leapt forward to hug him he received the hug with an oomph, his heart nearly full to bursting. Vader leant down to hold him as tightly and as gently as he could, careful with his own strength, careful with his boy.

He’d seen him in holo calls and messages, he’d heard about his progress through Ahsoka and through Sabé, who’d been updated through Sola. He’d been sent a holo, which he kept in one of the compartments on his belt, of Luke after Sola had dragged him to the hairdresser’s in Theed to get him a haircut that looked less severe, more like a teenage boy. He’d been sent another holo of Luke after his first day of school, with Leia and Zev dropping by to visit and staying for dinner, with Luke smiling broadly in front of a plate full of potatoes, leaning in to hear something she was saying, his eyes fixed on Zev in a way that made Vader both fiercely protective and nostalgic at once. He kept that one on his desk.

But it wasn’t the same. Luke’s Force presence had blossomed, so lovely and unapologetic and true, and he basked in the feeling of it, the way it opened at his touch like a flower to daylight. Luke laced their fingers together.

“Come on,” he said, still smiling that dizzying smile. “Nova came early, to help me prepare those rooms for you again—you know, the ones you had last time? With the view of the lake?—and Aunt Sola even bought an extra big chair for you so you can sit at dinner, I—”

He realised he was babbling, then, and tried to calm himself—stopped himself from skipping, as well. He’d been skipping.

“I missed you,” he told him candidly. “It hasn’t been the same.”

Vader squeezed his hand gently.

“No,” he agreed. “It has not.”

“Can you come inside?” Luke asked. Vader looked up at the building—the manor where he’d told his son the truth for the first time, the house where he’d married Padmé. The place that had been so much happiness, for so long, even when he was so miserable that the memory of that happiness only hurt more.

There would be Sabé, and Ahsoka, and the Naberries inside that building. It would be awkward—it would be beyond awkward; one thing he was here to discuss with Luke was his official resignation as Emperor, and what he thought about Sabé being coronated as Empress in his wake while she worked to deconstruct the Empire, all the politics that Luke had fled to Naboo not once, but twice, to get away from—but…

Luke would also be inside that building.

And so would Padmé.

He squeezed Luke’s hand tightly as they bounded up the stairs and walked through the doors. The entrance chamber was as beautiful and arching as ever, the breeze stirring through the air to tug at his cape and shift Luke’s hair, the sunlight gleaming in the glasswork. There were several people sitting and standing around in the downstairs living room when he first got in there: two young women perhaps five or ten years older than Luke, who looked so much like Padmé Vader had to glance away; an aging couple, who he’d met before, and were all but glaring at him, the man trying to disguise tears of sorrow and anger; and a woman only a few years older than her sister, who also looked far too much like her sister, and whose expression was not angry but… fierce. When she beheld Vader’s mask, and also the hand which clasped his son’s so tightly, it was positively ferocious.

Her gaze softened when it landed on Luke, though. Good, then, that she was so protective of him. Luke deserved as many protectors—

No.

Luke deserved as many parent figures as he could have.

They were not his protectors. Or his enforcers, or attack dogs, or advisors. Luke was no longer an Emperor—he was just a boy, just a son, and he was a part of a family that had grown into more than the lonely, abused child he’d been could’ve ever imagined.

Vader had grown into a man he could never have imagined, either.

“Grandmother, Grandfather, Ryoo, Pooja… Aunt Sola…” Luke bit his lip, then revealed his teeth in a gleaming smile. “This is my father.”

The Naberries’ eyes moved, cuttingly, to Vader, but all he had space for in his mind was Luke’s words.

As Luke wrapped an arm around his waist and pulled him forward, into the sitting room proper, that was all he thought.

He was Luke’s father.

And…

And he realised, he understood now, that that was all he ever needed to be.

Okay. I... have no idea what to say. Where to start, how to express.... aaaaaaaaah is the only way that comes to mind. This fic was such a strange undertaking. It’s a ficlet series nearly 100 ficlets long! Inspired by a five sentence prompt that ended up being sixty sentences! It’s over 100k on my doc! I started writing it in... I don’t even know, January or February, balancing so many fics, and then quarantine came and this was a reliable thing I could post, and work on, and update, and it helped me a lot. A million shout outs to everyone who made this possible, even though there’s no hope I’ll get you all -- it’s a collabfic, essentially; there are so many people I brainstormed with about different plotlines, so many people who sent in prompts, so many people whose enthusiasm kept me going..... This was such a fun challenge to work on, a completely different style to what I was used to, and the emotions, and ahhhh I enjoyed this so much; I’m so sad it’s over now. Headcanons of the boys with a pregnant mc??

Aaron:

1/3 that Knows What Might Be Happening Before You Do™ "Holy shit, you're pregnant?" he yelps out of nowhere. Truth is, you don't know wtf he's talking about.

Sniffs the air around you and then gets those dog zoomies in human form. He just runs around the house and comes back into the parlor, looking at you and saying "I'm going to be a fucking father!"

When he calms down and sits, you ask him wtf is going on and he says "I can smell your hormones and you're pregnant?"

You might pass out but no, not with the Super Dad™ looking out for you.

After you actually confirm with a very disgusted Ethan saying something like "ew you both fucked" and leaving, he's going to be overprotective of you.

No running down the stairs. No hard training, just jogs. Not too much. No swords, missy! No running in the hallways, no beer, no to staying in cold baths like you do, no getting sick, eating is a MUST and he's going to play with you in wolf form so you're never down, no stress too, if you want some space, your man's got you, he'll go do something. You're going to have to eat even if you're a chalice.

He will hunt more and eat animals to save your blood and just drink to complete his diet. He might even give you some of his blood once a month.

Gets super excited when the baby moves. Loves them because they kick Ivan's head when he tries to listen to your tummy.

When you're about to give birth he also senses first. Whimpers like a puppy and scoops you up, taking you to the room and doing as planned. Won't leave your side and when he sees your baby's first ever blink, he cries quietly. Will thank you so much.

He's also going to put up the cutest room of all of them. There will be some flowers, nice windows and many fur comfy sheets and the crib is bigger than him. No one knows why.

Raphael:

He is 2/3 that Knows What Might Be Happening Before You Do™. He was under the suspicion that something in your body was changing. He just couldn't put his finger on it.

But then in one night where you both were sleeping together he turned his face upwards and he started to think about how calm the last days had been. His hand caressed your waist lovingly to soothe you when you stirred a little in bed. Your shirt rode up and he was a little weirded out by how your skin seemed thin to the touch.

Almost as if your belly was growing. In fact, he noticed that it was, but it was so little...

He sat up with his back straight like the wall and gasped.

He decided to try and find out without alarming you, but his mind was already making scenarios where your baby would grow up to be an amazing adult and you'd love a great life together.

Is super careful with you, makes sure you're always lively and he chooses some of the softest fabrics for the baby. Sometimes he smiles to himself and closes his hand where the baby moved.

Gets scared when the baby makes weird shapes on your tummy and then giggles. They're so energetic and seem healthy!

When he sleeps, he is always looking forward to meeting his kid again and again, even if they still didn't make it to the world.

Will read you so much poetry and try to make you relax as much as you can.

Will be silent during the birth. Just whispering how proud he is, a wavering smile on his face and tears of pure joy staining his cheeks. When he feels the baby's face, he will gasp. They're so small and delicate. Even if he could see, he could never capture with him brushes how pretty his child was.

Beliath:

3/3 that Knows What Might Be Happening Before You Do.™ He's a demon, for God's sake! (ba doom tssss)

I headcanon that Beliath can feel people's life energy because if demons such as him and Leandra don't know which prey is worth all the power usage and time, life would turn dangerous. It's a basic power to a demon: feel how many people there are in a place by their energy. He will sense your mood swings and most importantly, he will sense a change in your energy.

He's going to be final about it when he gets in the kitchen after helping with the garden to find you sitting with a very creeped out Aaron in the kitchen, eating a beef bigger than your head like your life depended on it even if you had no urges to eat anymore.

He would try to feel for your energy and then he'd sense something like a second presence.

He'd frown deeply. "Aaron, come closer to me." He'd say looking at the floor. "I don't know what's happening to them. They just said to bring meat back home and forced me to make this stew." He said.

"I wash hoongry!" They snarled with their mouth full. Beliath, however, was paler than usual. When Aaron moved, the presence didn't fade. It was inside of his s/o.

You'll be the prettiest pregnant in the world. You'll get jewelry, healthy meals, massages, pedicure, hair care, pretty clothes and he'll even do your makeup when he senses you're close to give birth. He's always making sure you're treated like royalty and you'll never have to stretch your arm out fully.

He'll be very loving and protective. After you give birth he'll find you to be the prettiest person he's ever seen and that's final.

When you're giving birth he's going to be your biggest motivation. He will squeeze you hand and tell you to keep going. Someone like you can pull this off without any doubt.

He doesn't cry much, just a few tears. He's just too mesmerized to ever focus on crying. Your baby is the epitome of beauty. And they smile often. He laughs at their gums.

Vladimir:

Part 1/2 of the Clueless Until Something Weird and Fucking Scary Happens™ crew.

He'll only realize when your tummy is growing. He will think you're getting chubby and will blush: you'd look so cute and soft.

but then, in one of these nights where he rests his head on your tummy, it kicks his face!

The both of you will tell almost like the "Stop! I couldda dropped my croissant!" Dude. Now he thinks you're sick!

That is until Ethan, with his eyes bigger than saucers bc he was deceived with the story that you have a strange illness comes to check up on you and then he just rolls his eyes and deadpans, "So, you've knocked MC up and now you want to say they're sick?"

After that, he is even more worried. Looks at himself in the mirror every day for the next nine months thinking that he is going to be a god-damned father. But doesn't let up. Your kid will have a room ready in five days. Seeing him and Beliath putting a crib together is priceless. Bel gets his head smacked with his part of the wood pieces often.

"love, there's paint on your hair. Over here." He's never going to be composed. He's blushing and rushing to the bathroom to clean it.

When the baby is about to come into the world, he's going to ball his eyes out. More than the baby. The baby might give him a stank face for stealing his moment.

Ethan:

Sole member of the group "I Knew From The Start But I Just Denied It Because How Tf Will A Crazy Bastard Like Me Help My Pregnant Partner Raise a Whole Entirety Of a Child?"

He's trying his best to brace himself to be a father. But he just can't imagine not making it harder for you. How was he supposed to teach a kid how to live if he wasn't prepared to go on after 80 years himself?

One day after lost sleep, he will look at himself in the mirror thinking he's just that war doctor that isn't mentality stable. But then it will click: he IS the war doctor. He had made many difficult choices and saw life fade in front of him. He always made the difficult choices. Always chose who was going to live. And he was going to do it again. His child would fucking live. And he was going to make sure of that.

Getting exercise just the right amount, eating right, waking up early and resting early under Ethan's supportive and determined gaze, that's how it would be. Even if he was always taking care of you, he was bracing himself for the possibilities, for be your doctor when you gave birth, for watching over the baby. That's all he could do as he didn't know how to be more than a friend to your baby. If your baby ever loved him.

But as the months ran long and short at the same time, he watched your every gesture. The way you talked to the baby. The way you'd caress and poke your tummy lightly creating little rhythms when you sang. The way you'd mock him when you didn't realize he was there and say he was such a worried and careful father. Saying things the baby would love about him.

Was it possible that even without him seeing a good father on himself, you were actually... Excited?

After that, he went softer still. He'd be mesmerized when the baby moved, when he imagined their tiny hands closed in fists as they ran through the house. Would they be a troublemaker? They could definitely get along. He found himself closer to you, earning and waiting to see what they could do. How they'd change his perception of things even more.

He might not know what he wants for your baby, but he knows what he doesn't want for them and you're definitely with him in this. That's a start, right?

The kind of dad to say the kid's tummy looks like a watermelon. Scares you saying he's giving him some ugly name. Laughs a lot at you and says he's so happy.

Ivan:

You see, you know when there are these pregnant women that have really small tummies and then the baby suddenly punches some room for themselves out of nOWHERE and grow? That was it.

He was like "aww look at ur tummy hehehe kiss kiss cute!"

But then in one of these days, he rests his head on your tummy and the baby is like "oof get off of me I'm sWEATING" and then they jAB HIS HEAD.

He jumps up so high and out the bed that you would mistake him for a long ass frog. He points at your tummy and yells "ETHAAAAAAN"

Ethan isn't even rude seeing how terrified he is. Aaron barges in and then suddenly is full of grow ass men watching your man-kicking tummy. Turns out you were just pregnant. Maybe he'll try yahoo answers? Goooosh, this is hard.

When he collects his thoughts, will be more responsible, shy and clingy. He planned this once in his life before, so he's very happy that this happened now that he's sure of you. You put up with him this whole time, he is sure you're gonna be a good mommy too.

With every single piece of clothing the others bring, he gets more and more excited. Confides in Aaron a lot and when he tells the wolf that he can be the godfather, he literally howls and lifts him up. They might cry in the woods.

He is very soft and he will give you support when it's time for the birth. He just won't cry like Vlad bc after the baby cries and Ethan sighs blissfully he passes out in relief. Ethan groans. But takes care of him anyways. He suddenly got softer after the announcement. He seemed to bond with Ivan... But dONT TELL HIM THAT.

He's also going to make u listen to classical music for your child to be born Smart™ and a Person Of Culture™.

Actually very serious and emotional. Vladimir could never with all his crying.

Your kid is gonna grow up very sweet, but not the type to sit down and be bullied or dismissed bc they'll only know that from their father honestly. I stan your baby

HELLO HELLO MY SUNBEAMS. For most every category, there was an impressive turn-out for pitches, so I thought we’d utilize the weirdness of this year’s GIFTENING to give something new a try. The popular vote winner for each category will happen on the first day, but on the second, the winner will be chosen from YOUR PITCHES. Mostly those pitches will be to me. The exception is in Miscellaneous, where you’ll be pitching to my family, because what I want to do and what is most entertaining isn’t necessarily the same thing.

So! How will we do this thing? GLAD YOU ASKED. I’ll link you to a form in a minute with space for one pitch. Once you fill it out, you’ll be asked if you want to do another. There’s no limit to the number of pitches you can send in! But remember that if you submit multiple entries for the same category, you’ll basically be competing against yourself.

NOW WE’VE GOT SOME RULES FOR DOING THIS (which I mostly stole from Holligay, because I have no creativity this year). Please read them carefully! I’ll toss pitches that break any of these, and I’d rather your hard work not go to waste.

Well known for her starring roles in the award-winning films Picnic, Strangers When We Meet, Pal Joey, and her twin roles in Vertigo, Kim Novak chose a shorter film career, but the movies she made have become classics enjoyed as much today by movie buffs as when they were released in the 1950s and ‘60s. Preferring a quiet lifestyle, in 1961 Kim chose a home far away from Hollywood on an outcropping of rock in Carmel, California where she lived until 1973. The home is now for sale, priced at $12.5 million.

One of California’s most interesting homes, the main and guest homes, with two bedrooms and 2,070 square feet, are set on two acres of rocky coastline dramatically perched over the ocean waves with unobstructed views to the horizon. The home has several roof levels, designed as a cozy escape with wood-beamed ceilings, slate floor, wood-burning fireplace, and ceiling-to-floor walls of glass to capture the rock-and-water views. There is an abundance of nature to enjoy watching from migrating whales and playful otters to pelicans soaring close to the water searching for their next fish dinner.

Kim wasn’t the typical movie star. In her mid-30s, Kim semi-retired from acting to focus on her talent for drawing and painting and to escape the artificial Hollywood environment. During this time, she painted, wrote poetry and song lyrics. Her lyrics were so good that they were used by both Harry Belafonte and the Kingston Trio. She made a few short forays back into acting with her last major film in 1969, The Great Train Robbery.

Born in Chicago, Kim, who is now 88, spent most of her adult life in California after a college gig touring the country as a trade show model, “Miss Deepfreeze,” for an L.A. refrigerator manufacturer, which led to the start of her film career. In addition to Carmel, Kim also lived in another of California’s prettiest areas, Big Sur, where she raised horses. In the late 1990s, Novak bought a ranch on the Rogue River in Oregon with her veterinarian husband. Though he died several years ago, she still lives there and still rides her horse and enjoys her art.

Carmel has been a celebrity hotspot since the early years of Hollywood, well known for its charming village and picturesque houses. Longtime-resident Doris Day made sure the town was pet friendly, and dogs are welcomed almost everywhere their masters are. Carmel has been either the home or preferred getaway for Clint Eastwood, who was Carmel mayor twice and owns a restaurant there, John Steinbeck, Salvadore Dali, Jimi Hendrix, Steve Jobs, Joan Baez and Jack London.

As enchanting as the existing structures are, planning has been approved to build a 4,300-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bath main house on the site should a potential buyer need a larger retreat for family and guests.

Jewel heist ends in capture

It had gone so well I could barely believe it. I had easily gotten past the dogs outside, then defeated the entry alarm to the mansion before sneaking my way to the upstairs master bedroom and finding what I sought - the safe. I had opened it - I was a professional after all. Finding the world famous Henshaw Diamond, I pocketed the massive stone in a pouch I’d specifically designed in the pants I was wearing so my hands would remain free. Once I sold the diamond to the collector, I would be set for life - no more stealing for me, it would just be easy going from here!

Then I turned after closing the safe and was greeted by the most unexpected sight of my life.

Her name was Anna, and she was the heiress to the Henshaw fortune, so one day, the diamond would belong to her. The girl sat on the fireplace mantle, looking at me with all the confidence in the world, her feet bare - I could see she’d shed her shoes in the doorway so as not to make any noise. I swallowed hard and wondered what would happen next, and her confidence unnerved me.

“You must be the famous Mr. Williams,” she said. “The jewel thief everyone in Bel Air fears so much. You’ve had quite a career, it’s kind of a shame I have to put an end to it.”

I dug deep, trying to summon some bravado. “I don’t understand why you think you can stop me, Miss Anna,” I answered. “You’re just a girl, and I am, as you said, a famous thief.”

She hopped down from the mantle and moved toward me slowly, soundlessly. I felt an odd sense of arousal overcoming me, and felt strangely hopeless. “Yes, a famous thief, famous for not being violent. Turn around and face that wall, with your hands on your head. I will search you, find the diamond, and tie you up. Then I’ll call the police.”

She hadn’t yet called the police! I had a chance then, if I could get past her.

She smiled, as if reading my thoughts. “Oh you poor thing,” she mocked. “Do you really think I would come in here to get you if I didn’t already know I could take you down? I am very well trained in a variety of combat techniques. Believe me, you are already captured. Save yourself the embarrassment of being overpowered by a girl and just surrender. It’s all over for you.”

I trembled, but found myself overcome by my own arousal. So many times I wondered how it would feel to be caught, and many times I had found myself turned on, strangely, at the thought of being caught by a woman. Now it was happening, and at the hands of such a beautiful girl!

“Face the wall,” she told me. “Hands on your head, feet apart. Now!”

Tears sprang into my eyes as I slowly raised my hands and turned to face the wall. She laughed, pressed me to the wall, and pulled my hands down behind my back. I then felt her tie me up - she had apparently been wearing panty hose and had removed those as well before coming into the room, and now her garments were the instruments of my capture. 

She pulled the knot tight. “All tied up,” she said. “That will definitely hold you until the police arrive. Now, to find my property.”

The young woman searched me, intentionally brushing her hands across my erection. “Enjoying yourself?” She asked mockingly. “Maybe during all those years in a cell, you can treasure the memory of your capture.”

She removed the diamond from my pants, and then pushed me to the floor. I lay helpless as she tied my ankles with another pair of stockings, and then she placed one of her bare feet on me while she dialed the police.

“Hello, this is Anna Henshaw,” she said. “I have captured a jewel thief and need an officer sent over right away. I’m sorry, what’s that? Detective Emily Jett is the chief investigator on his case and wants to personally arrest him? Yes, I can wait on her, he’s all tied up anyway, so I would be delighted to allow Det. Jett to take him into her custody.”

Is there probably a canon way that Theron gets a hold of the Outlander’s ship? Yeah. Do I remember it? No. So my personal headcanon is that Bel’s crew tried to keep it between them until about two years or so into the war with the Eternal Empire when Vector returned to the hive, and Lokin finally had to go to ground. I think Lokin would have cleared out the ship for the most part, and then handed it over to Theron for safe keeping, because it’s Lokin, and he absolutely knew Lana and Theron were going after Bel. More importantly, in my personal headcanon, Bel sent Gertrude, his service akk dog, back to the Phantom when he realized he might not be coming back from Marr’s flagship, so now Theron has her to contend with. Anyways, consider this a part of the whole fic I suppose I’ll eventually write, set sometime after all that, and before they get Bel out of carbonite. Under the cut bc I’m a wordy bish

There was thumping somewhere in the ship and Theron cursed under his breath, hand going to his blaster instinctively. Silence reigned for a long moment, then another thump, and then claws scrabbling.

Right. Gertrude. Of course. Theron relaxed a little, made sure the ship was on autopilot and then turned to go tromping down the hallway. "What? I fed you, I tried to pet you, I gave you treats while trying to pet you. What else do you want?"

She barked at him. Loudly, from further in the ship. And then continued barking as he found her. 

"Okay! Got it! What do you want?"

She was looking at him with absolute derision. Which was not surprising. She'd barely tolerated him when he'd first met Belville on Manaan, and finally on Ziost she'd at least allowed him to touch Belville without looking like she was thinking about biting him. 

They'd gone back to her occasionally looking at him like a snack. Which was probably fair. 

She was standing at the door to Captain's quarters and Theron grimaced. "He's not in there. Sorry."

She gave him one more baleful look, and then continued scratching at the door. Theron turned to let her be when she gave the most pitiful whine he'd probably ever heard. He held still for a minute as the whining continued, and made a face as he finally turned back and palmed the panel. "Fine then, go-"

It was locked. Which he should have expected. And it was more ridiculous that he actually spent a half hour trying to get in, eventually ending up cross-legged on the floor, the entire control pad dismantled and surrounded by wires and bits of metal.

For a dog. He was doing this for a dog. And his own burning curiosity.

Gertrude hadn’t actually left, instead nosing her way into the mess but kept her muzzle well away from any live wires without needing the command, which was appreciated. She still didn’t seem that impressed with him, but Theron decided it was worth counting being in a shared space as a win for longer than five minutes as a win.

It hadn’t even crossed his mind to send Gertrude with Lokin, if he was to take Bel’s ship, it only made sense for her to stay with the ship. She’d meant too much to Belville for Theron to contemplate separating her from what remained of Bel. And then he’d had to spend a day with her, attempting to feed her, and find out she’d been trained to use a toilet. Which was...fascinating. And said a lot about Belville, really.

It was nearly an hour, and probably the longest Theron had taken to break into anything in a long time when the door finally slid open. Gertrude went scrambling into the room as he fell back, mostly without control to lay on the floor and groan. Cipher or not, no one could ever be allowed to know exactly how long it had taken him to crack Bel’s security.

Gertrude was making noise deeper in the room, snuffling around in the room and Theron sighed, slowly getting up and following her inside. “I know, I’m sorry, he’s not- oh.”

She had shoved herself into the closet, pulling down clothes and was currently turning circles in an amongst Bel’s clothes. He watched for a moment until she settled in, burying her nose into one of Bel’s sweaters and whining softly. Theron swallowed and shoved his hands in his pockets. “Ya. I know. I wish he were too.”

She whined once more and fell quiet and Theron let her be, scanning the room quietly.

It didn’t look like it had been entered since Bel’s disappearance. Or if it had been, someone had put it back together expertly, which seemed more likely, although he’d be forever annoyed if Lokin had gotten into Bel’s quarters faster than he had. But everything looked as  he remembered, when he’d caught a ride with Bel from Rishi to Yavin 4, although he probably could have paid more attention to the surroundings and less attention to the man that had been under him.

He took a seat on the bed for a lack of anything else to do, leaning forward to rest elbows to knees. The air was stale enough in the room that no one had been in it recently, and he couldn’t smell much more than that, but there was something oddly comforting about being in a space Bel had owned so thoroughly, and whatever smell remained on his clothes was clearly enough for Gertrude if Theron could be any judge of her snuffling.

A part of him wanted to begin rifling through Belville’s things, the part that had been SIS for so long. He doubted Bel had left any immediate intelligence simply sitting around, but there were things he could learn about the man from the things he had left behind. Some other part of him just wanted to look for pieces of the man that had left them all behind. Something that would feel a bit more real than the ghost they were chasing that he was hoping was a bit more substantial than it felt.

It wasn’t as though he didn’t believe Lana, and didn’t want to get Bel back, and didn’t trust that Bel had come back from worse. But it was beginning to feel a lot like they were looking to resurrect a pipedream. It would have been nicer to have Bel here now, probably very annoyed that his room had been broken into by SIS. Nicer to have someone who’d stepped up against impossible odds like this before at their side. 

Really, it just would have been nice to just have him there, possibly get to see him one more time before the Eternal Empire wiped them all out. 

If Lana was right, then it would be decently rude for Bel to come back and find out not only had his room been broken into, Theron had also gone rifling through his things. He kept his hands to himself. It was odd to think he’d only been in here once before, and even at that, Bel had kept him thoroughly distracted to prevent any snooping. Still, there was enough of the man left in the room it felt like he ought to walk back in a moment later. That presence wasn’t one that he could forget. Even if Bel himself pretended not to be aware of the effect he sometimes had on people.

He wanted to say he didn’t miss Bel, but that would have been a lie. It was stupid, considering they had both agreed they weren’t going to work, that they weren’t going to ask each other to do things that would endanger the other, to cross their boundaries to make it work. They had agreed not to even think about asking the other to betray everything the other stood for. He hadn’t wanted to ask Bel to step into danger for him, and Bel had been very clear that he didn’t want Theron attempting to protect him at his own expense, ever.

This could probably be considered a violation of what they’d agreed to. Facing off against the Eternal Empire to get him back was definitely endangering himself for Belville’s sake. But if they failed then Bel would never know, and if they did, then he could handle the lecture later. It was very much a case where Theron hoped he’d have to ask for forgiveness about it.

He’d give a lot of things to be able to ask Bel for forgiveness about this. 

He jumped a little as Gertrude hopped up on the bed, one of Bel’s uniform shirts in her mouth. She circled for a moment or two, then unceremoniously shoved her head under his arm and into his lap. Theron huffed out a half-hearted laugh and scratched beneath the armoured ridges over her back. She settled down on his lap and rumbled happily.

“Ya, I know. I’ll get him back for you. Promise.”
