When you empty your Ponds moisturizer and you say to yourself, "I can make my own." Maybe not the purest ingredients, but not a bad start. It also allows me not to have to worry about adding a preservative or keeping it refrigerated. I had to do some tweeking to get the right consistency but I now have a skin AND hair moisturizer.
