This absolutely gorgeous art is by @ramdotexe and is an illustration of this scene in Chapter 10 of my story Life Gets Hard, But We Go On.
Excerpt:
KIM KITSURAGI — “Perhaps it is not my place to say this—I hope you will forgive me, if not. But Harry? I am very, very proud of you. Not only for what happened today, but for everything you have done since Martinaise. How hard you have worked at your recovery and how much you have done to try to make amends for the past. Many men, in your situation, would disclaim all responsibility for the wrongdoing that they no longer remembered. You have not. I find it… admirable. And I respect you very much for it.”
YOU — Hearing that—hearing Kim say that—is so good you start to cry again. It means so much to you.
CONCEPTUALIZATION [Legendary: Failure] — So much that you cannot imagine a metaphor vast enough.
RHETORIC [Legendary: Failure] — So much that we can’t find the words to describe it.
YOU — You spin around in your chair and fling your arms around him, burying your face in his middle. He startles a little, then the hand on your back pulls you in closer and the other one strokes gently over your hair.
KIM KITSURAGI — “It’s okay, Harry,” he says. “You did well. It’s going to be okay.”
I am playing Disco Elysium since two days ago and I knew the couple of Kim and Harry for quite some time (coz awesome fanart) so surprises me that it doesn't have a name. So I will call it "Disco husbands" for now on.
Thinking about how shitty Jean would be with kids. I feel like him and Harry both talk to kids like adults, but where Harry talks to them like people with opinions, Jean will beef with a 6 year old because they can't open a peanut butter jar. Jean will play Sorry! with a child and he will be out for blood the entire time. He stole mustard from a homeless man I just know he'd be playing basketball and get dunk after dunk on an unsuspecting teenager just to feel the thrill of victory. Cuno is his enemy and I think it'd be really funny to put him in charge of training him
If Crowley was acting like this and high as a kite because of a bloody poison, how do you think he would react with actual drugs? The 70s/80s must have been crazy for Disco Tony!
Cause yes, that man tried drugs back then. It's in his nature. He is way too fucking curious not to. And he likes to think he is a bad boy so alas. Add that to the fact that he is a supernatural entity and the effects of drugs aren't as fatal on him than regular humans and its a party!
New art! Inspired by the "draw Kim and Harry getting married" thread that has brought me so much joy.
The concept here is that Harry was worried about maybe losing his memories again, so Kim has been helping him make a memory book so he can have peace of mind that even if he does lose memories again, he won't lose everything.
