hey tumblr. do i buy pokémon legends arceus or do i buy like 2-3 indie games (probably hades and omori)

i played sword and shield and got maybe 2/3rds of the way through it and tbh im surprised i made it that far. it wasn’t very fun for me to get thru. legends arceus seems like it appeals to me a LOT w/ the open world and more real-time mechanics + research upgrades but the pokémon franchise has just. burned me so badly lately and i’m not about to spend $60 on a game i won’t want to finish when i could buy indie games i’ll enjoy more w that money

good question, anon!

i think it has a lot to do with the fact that, simply put, @elf fuckers: ya basic. the elves are pretty and tall and elegant (at least in lotr; don’t think that’s the case with the silmarillion), and…. That’s Kind of It. i mean come on. elves are the people who unironically hold poetry readings and shit like that at their birthday parties. most of them probably dine roman-style; draped gracefully over a velvet chaise lounge while some poor servant feeds them peeled grapes. none of them have never heard of pants. point: most elf-fuckers are only here for the Aesthetic of elves, and are neglecting the much more personality-filled nature of dwarves, hobbits, humans, orcs and (dare i say it) ents.

as for your second question: i don’t have anything against elf-fuckers, per se. if you want a poetry-reading, no-pants-owning, roman-dining-ass trophy elf?? u go for it. i just personally am Not That Into elves (for the most part), although i did go through the mandatory “legolas is my god” stage after first watching the movies djfsd.

🍰 - Her favorite cake flavor is, of course, chocolate. She doesn't really mind about cake types, she will take anything with chocolate on it. Totally not also saying this bc i don't know cake types

🕷️ - I already mentioned that she is very afraid of losing the friends she's made, but she does have a mundane fear. She thought it'd be fun at first, but after trying it out, she is scared of plane rides. She doesn't feel safe when she's too high up in the air.

❇️ - She values the old sketchbook she had when she was younger! (How it survived in water, I don't know.) She likes looking at it and remembering the designs she first thought of before knowing a lot about fashion. Other than that, she values things that remind her of her childhood because they're precious memories to her.

Mini Taruchi

🍩 - She loves cake pops! Her appetite is quite small so she sometimes can't finish even a slice of cake. Cake pops are small and easy to finish, so she prefers those!

🌙 - All she really wants is to be able to stay with her friends. She loves them too much to let them go. She understands that people go their separate ways, but she'll try her best to never lose contact with them.

☄️ - She's more of an introvert. She doesn't always speak up when around strangers, and she tries to be polite to everyone. Because of that, a lot of people assume she wouldn't hurt a fly. When you get closer to her, you'll see that it's quite the opposite. She will absolutely get mad at you if you cross her. (That doesn't stop her from feeling guilty afterwards though.)
