I feel like the two characters that changed the most in the D. Grey Man Hallow redesigns were Jasdero and Davit.
They used to be so scrunkly and chaotic and we haven't really seen them for a while now which is a real shame because they're my favorite of the Noahs.
Anyway, I redrew this frame in because I miss them. T^T

Story - transcripts from Designer’s Reflection
Chapter 1 - Elf Maiden
Chapter 2 - Voyage Encounter
Chapter 3 - Tears of Pearl
Chapter 4 - Deep Sea Fairy Tale
Story - summarized
Dorea is the only Water Elf fascinated by humans and the surface. When she finds time, she slips away to watch a ship that came nearby. The researchers don’t notice her - except for one, with vivid blue eyes. Dorea is fascinated by “Mr. Blue Eyes.” She surfaces every day to get a glimpse of the curious human.
Meanwhile, the human researcher DeVit is startled to see a Water Elf. He only heard about them from legends. He sketches the Elf every chance he gets. He’s dazzled by her ethereal form. He posts his pictures in the window of his cabin.
Finally, Dorea comes up with a plan to see Mr. Blue Eyes once. At a party, she drugs the guards and steals a precious pearl. Once she breaks the surface, she uses the pearl to give her a human form and a lovely dress with pearls. She comes onboard the ship.
DeVit is so happy to see her. They take in the moment - right before a storm tosses the ocean. The chief of Dorea’s clan noticed the pearl’s disappearance.
The researchers jump ship and barely make it to safety. Dorea rescues DeVit from the sea and drags him ashore. As she weeps, her tears turn into pearls. The chief’s voice demands Dorea return to the ocean, or DeVit will perish. Dorea takes the tear-pearls and makes a necklace. She leaves it with DeVit before turning back.
Years later, DeVit’s hometown of Sirenberg thrives on his fairy tales. The Water Elf series remains the most popular. Everyone knows that DeVit based the tales off of his own experiences - but no one knows how it truly ends. All they heard was that he went sailing one day far into the ocean and never came back.
Connections
-You first meet the Water Elves in Mercury’s Reflection for Startide Dream.
-DeVit says that he was here on a research expedition and also that they were to locate resources. In Startide Dream, Mercury made a deal with the Water Elf King for safe passage for his ships as they dredged resources from the ocean.
-Years after their encounter, Dorea submits the pearl dress to the Wintermount Designer’s Tea Party. We attend the Tea Party in the Reflections for Mercury’s and Qin Yi’s wedding dresses and Helz’ Romantic Visit.
Fun Facts
-Dorea says that her chief has a special pearl. It’s possible that each Elf clan leader, plus the king, possess special gems with powers tied to the ocean.
-It’s possible that DeVit not only saw Dorea again, but may have found a way to be with her forever. He was an old human, but with the ocean gems, there could have been a way to turn him into a Water Elf.
-”Siren” is another word for “mermaid.”

If DGM was modern Allen’s credit score in every possible nation where he could have one would be the trash disposal because of Cross. Even after the war it would be nigh impossible for him to get a house/car/loan any time in there future- same with Jasdevi (although the thought of them ever even trying to apply for a mortgage or loan is laughable.)
