OOO OOO I can't believe I haven't shared my favorite clown-core song to the welcome home community!!! It's super nostalgic for me so I may be biased but I think it really captivates a "I'm at the circus but somethings wrong" kind of feeling. Very Good to daydream to!
"In the small town night, a young man stumbles across a hot dog vendor with a unique business model: He trades his late night food for people's souls."
I took a filmmaking class this spring, and decided my class project would be to make an animatic for the first episode of my Hot Dog miniseries-pitch!
Drawings, Writing, voice-acting by yours truly (have mercy). Thank you to Aylen for throwing ideas with me, and Poul for helping me edit!
Music by Detektivbyrån
meet molin, my pet accordion cat! he mainly meows polka and detektivbyrån like a normal accordion, but a switch under his tongue makes him turn into the cat-keyboard "meow" if you prefer! during the month of october and only then can he also sound like a theremin.
I've never been able to associate songs with lyrics to him for some reason, so I hope you don't mind this is just instrumental, but I would have to say Neonland by detektivbyrån. It has his same mysterious but playful energy to me if that makes sense.
Getting real sick of people asking for a "can you add a 'i wish I never heard of this band' option", thank you for being the bravest people out there by not hunting them for sport for that
I would like to ask, bc of Detektivbyrån &. God another artist that we've all definitely heard if we've been on Tumblr. (Homestuck AMV, "A Lullaby for Gods", I know you people have seen it!!!!!!) If it's not too much trouble, can you also list their like. Top song.
If it's too much I understand, you're already doing a massive amt of data collection. Thanks!! This blog is one of my favorites!!
That's what the "song that represents this artist" field in the submission form is for. Or rather, will be for... since that field was added later, we're still thousands of submissions behind the first one with a song attached. For the sake of efficiency, we won't be adding songs before then. --rottel
I loooove them!!! Fantastic music!!!!!!! Like!!!! Mind boggling!!! Lakka-Koffa!!!!!! Nattoppet!!!!! Hem ljava hem!!!! Life_Universe!!!! Kärlekens Alla Färjor!!!!! They shall rip your soul directly from your chest with that music!!!!
I love stimming to music! It’s so good. Can either be a full-body thing when home alone (or out dancing back when I used to do that), or just a more subtle thing like listening to music with my earbuds in and walking in time to the music, or tapping my fingers in rhythm with the music, when out in public. Perfect!
For me personally it’s a very good way to get back into my body when it feels like I’m no longer really connected to it.
Looking back on it now, going dancing with one of my best friends in my mid 20s was a kind of two-person-stim-thing. We were really in sync when dancing and it was just such a good feeling to share that experience. Also what I loved about going to concerts, sharing that music and experience with other people, and feeling connected through that. My enthusiasm about the music not being out of place, but rather something that was expected at that point in time. Wonderful feeling.
Some of my favourite music to stim to (links lead to youtube):
Florence + the Machine: Live at the Royal Albert Hall
Alt-J: An Awesome Wave (album, link leads to a playlist)
Detektivbyrån (link leads to playlist with songs by this band)
The Alan Parsons Project: Eye in the Sky
(The Alan Parsons Project also has a very cool album inspired by Edgar Alan Poe, Tales of Mystery and Imagination, which I highly recommend.)
