I finally pulled my finger out and have completed day two of @natashanewtonart #woodlandmarch #patreonartchallenge which was the house through the trees. For some reason my mind went to Hansel and Gretel and the witch's house made of gingerbread and sweets. I googled for some inspiration and loved the composition of a piece by Lyuba Bogan. So I based mine on her work. For those wondering what pencils I like to use for my pet portraits.. I love to use a combination of #fabercastellpolychromos and #carandache Luminance pencils for my layered drawing techniques. I find the Caran D'ache to be great for creating vibrant under layers because of their waxy texture and the Faber Castell perfect for detail over the top! I do also your #derwentdrawingpencils in combo with the Caran D'ache because of its similar texture and they have a great natural colour selection. Depois do caju com aquarela Pentel, resolvi testar o giz #pasteloleoso também da #pentel que comprei recentemente. Era pra ser um teste sem pretensão meio rápido, mas fui me empolgando com o giz (adorei) e quando eu vi já estava detalhando com #derwentdrawingpencils e #gouachetalens branco. O #sketchbook #kraft é da #hahnemühle . Eu comprei esse giz pastel depois de me decepcionar com um giz pastel velho que era pra ser oleoso mas estava meio seco. Desconfiei da textura e comprei esse de 25 cores.
