Here’s a really special and interesting addition to this WedgeUcator’s collection: it’s the Bantam Audio Publishing dual-cassette edition of Timothy Zahn’s well-known “Heir to the Empire” novel. What makes this particular item so coveted and unique is that the abridged novel is read by none other than Wedge Antilles himself, Denis Lawson. I recall owning these cassettes when I was a kid and basically wearing them out...after all, it was my dream come true to have Wedge Antilles read me a riveting Star Wars story!! It should be noted here that Denis Lawson actually didn’t provide the voice for Wedge in A New Hope or Rogue One; actor David Ankrum provided Wedge’s voice in those two films.
