Angel and Shade
Angel is a a woman who lives in a slums sort of environment. While she doesn't have any family nearby to help her with rent, she quickly caught on to the hustle of accepting jobs from shady groups. Many jobs included harming or threatening the innocent for currency or objects they owed. All against her morals, but for the sake of surviving it was all she could do. Any attempts to stop taking such jobs led her to dead ends one after another, and she felt pressured to continue her line of work. Despite her shady jobs, she's made it her responsibility to protect the youth in the neighborhood, even from her clients should the kids get a tad too nosey. At any other point, she was playing jump rope with them, basketball (she wasn't all that good at it), encouraging the little artists, offering to tutor what she could, even providing to be a listening ear for their troubles.
However, her work routine would make a drastic change one night. Caught alone in a miscalculated blackout, she was hoisted away by a cult. Ones who called themselves Watchers of the Moon. They had prepared a ceremony to bring their deity into the mortal world by use of a 'sacrificial lamb'. Trapped, roped down as they sung for the Moon Rabbit, she was left feeling completely defenseless. Hopeless, realizing she had no idea where they had taken her. And yet, before they could flay her chest open, something chose her body to be its vessel, and she'd lost all control.
When she woke the next morning she found herself lying face down in an alleyway with gashes in her clothing, a new head-mate, and a smiling mask sitting right next to her. The creature, when she woke, asked her what she desired most. "I wanna make a change in this city! I'm tired of the greedy and the straight up evil taking advantage of the weaker folks... Taking advantage of what youth we got." The creature reminded Angel of her misdeeds having taken from the less fortunate and threatening them. Angel could only respond that she was powerless to fight against the bosses by herself then, and if she had done so it would mean the children would be without a protector. The creature, a rabbit she dubbed ‘Shade’, found this amusing.
"Powerless to fight the ill of the world alone, yet you pursue the safety of the children and the innocent, even if it means that you partake in dark work against them. You wish for the removal of evil and greed in this city. By yourself, this is impossible. However, in this, I can perhaps assist you. Only... if you allow me further access."
Reluctant to 'sign a contract', Angel hesitated. Yet what other choice did she have? With her resolve in mind, with her targets pin pointed, she rose onto her feet and donned the mask previously at her side.

I should of posted this last year, but I did end up using the flag in the middle as my new avatar over at Quotev.
and I know that Demi-Heteromorph wouldn���t be canon to the Overlord series, and would be fanon only....
and as weird as it might be, I can’t help but have thoughts of viewing myself as technically a “Demi-Heteromorph”....
I mean we know how some people view those with RH Negative blood, and I really need to stop procrastinating in checking to see if my blood type will come out O RH D Negative for a third time.
anyway the Humanoid, Demi-Human and Heteromorphic symbols are canon to the Overlord series (not to be confused for the Overlord video game series where you become a Overlord and can control minions...and even slap or kick them around.)
the symbols on the flag that once again, I am using as a Avatar at Quotev...
are the symbols for Air and Earth.
anyway I’m glad I’m finally posting this, even if it is on February 7, 2023.
now I’m going to go and have a smoothie, I had started to drink some home made fruit smoothie and the type that it is, is gonna be my favorite.
it’s a mix of peaches from a can, strawberries and blueberries, and well even bananas, but I guess we don’t always have to put the bananas in there...
I like sweet blueberries, and not sour ones, well the last blueberries I ate a few days ago seem sour to me, didn’t taste as good as the ones I had tried later after that.
I’m weird and I really like it, but we can’t forget the ice for it, because it doesn’t taste as good without it.
anyway while this is also technically a Overlord Fanart, because of the symbols that has to do with Humanoid, Demi-Human and Heteromorphic races from the series, and the only fanon one is the Demi-Heteromorph...
I hope some can understand why I had some thoughts about seeing myself as a “Demi-Heteromorph” and I guess I can try to talk about it in another post.

Aliens that don't feel "love" until they already know someone for a long time, but when their subconscious realizes what an ideal partner someone would be they're flooded with hormones. Suddenly your best alien buddy is locking themselves in their quarters every time you so much as make eye contact. They borderline refuse to even talk to you anymore, leaving the rest of the crew to suffer under the endless ramblings. "Do you think they'll be warm enough on this mission? Yesterday they slept eight hours, but tonight they only slept seven and a half, maybe I should alert the doctor. What is gifting etiquette for humans? Can I give them this human dessert I bought or must I pretend it was on sale first? Or is it inappropriate to give sweet foods to a coworker? Does chocolate hold some kind of double meaning I don't know about?? Maybe you should just give it to them—"
The entire crew begs you to just ask them what the hell is up. They do end up breaking (how could they say no to you?), and they try to explain it as medically as they can, as if you being in the same room as them didn't make their minds hazy with yearning. Don't tell them they were being rude before, they were just trying to spare you the embarrassment of all the flirtatious remarks and touches they were actively fighting themselves from saying.
