wendell & wild headcanons of varying seriousness
-father bests never found out which of the demon brothers were which
-kat’s hair is naturally green
-someone manberg knew (most likely a relative) was a hell maiden
-bearz-a-bub is tethered to rust bank, obligating helley to stay at RBC and keep watch over it rather than put distance between it/her and manberg. other locations have similar plot devices
-manberg was born with phocomelia, rather than having lost his legs to a demon attack
-siobhan is encouraged to wear contacts and relax her hair by her parents; post-movie kat helps her relearn how to put in braids
-delroy was in a garage band in college and wilma was working on a master’s in molecular chemistry
-hell maidens (if not humans in general) are to demons what guardian angels are to humans, and coming to the living world is the closest demons get to ascension (though it’s treated more like moving to a vacation state than that)
-helley and manberg have gotten in at least five slapfights, four tug-of-wars with bearz-a-bub, and two HR interventions over the years
-bearz-a-bub shows significant bias to any hell maidens near it and its answer to if it missed manberg would’ve been “no”
-raúl came out to marianna by asking if he could get that trans sticker he has on that composition book
-wilma and marianna were good friends in college and did regular mixtape exchanges

I'm having difficulties understanding all the information presented in these screenshots, so I'll just share this and tell y'all what I am able to comprehend at the moment.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Klaxxons are not legally allowed to conduct businesses in the UK.
Delroy Elliot was 41 at his time of death, and Wilma Elliot was either 38 or 36 (having a hard time telling with the text size of the newspaper).
Same newspaper states that their Brewery was the most popular attraction in Rust Bank.
Evidence from the couples untimely death was all gone.
This is suspicious, especially considering some concept art for this film (link here) states that the Klaxxons were originally planned to be responsible for the Elliots' deaths.
On the night of the Brewery fire, the smoke detectors had been messed with, all exits were blocked, and the beer vats were locked.
The Brewery fire had a total of either ten or twelve victims and they were all Brewery workers. (One newspaper said 12 and the other said 10).
After the brewery fire, the fire chief of Rust Bank went and bought a new Porsche; implying that the Klaxxons paid them off to keep silent
In the newspaper clipping about Delroy's and Wilma's death, you can see a ripped off portion of an article talking about Rust Bank and the Break the Cycle program.
One newspaper clipping discusses how a lot of Rust Bank businesses are seemingly disappearing out of thin air.
That's all I can tell at the moment. Alotta of the text is kinda hard for me to read, so please tell me if you see something else I missed!

How poor production on Going Live led to The Wheel
Five Star rose from nowhere to become the biggest band in Britain, and then they fell away as quickly as they'd arrived. By 1 April 1989, the group was really unpopular, and they appeared on Going Live. The Sunday Mirror reported what happened next:
Tumblr media
A youngster stunned a children's BBC TV programme with a stream of four-letter abuse at pop group Five Star. The band were answering phone-in questions on Going Live when Elliot (sic) Fletcher blurted out, "I would like to ask Five Star why are they such f---ing c---." As presenter Sarah Greene sat in shocked silence, he added, "They are f---ing p---" before being faded out.
Five Star were a family group. Lorraine, Doris, Denise, Steadman, and Delroy were the children of Buster Pearson, who was also their manager, and who styled them in the mode of the Jackson Five. Signed to Tent Records (prop: B. Pearson), the group made vocal pop with synth stylings. It was the way of the mid-80s. After a couple of small-release singles, "All fall down" very gently grew its way up the charts during late spring 1985, and follow-up single "Let me be the one" gave them a chance to get into the TOTP studio.
"System Addict" propelled them into the top five at the start of 1986, and began a proper Imperial Phase; for a couple of years, we couldn't avoid Five Star, and didn't really want to. Second album Silk and Steel yielded five top ten hits, ranging from sweet love song "Rain or shine" to the yearning horniness of "Can't wait another minute" and "If I say yes". A massive stadium tour was sponsored by Crunchie chocolate bars, and the group won the BPI Award for Best Band. Better than Genesis! Even more fun than Mike + the Mechanics!
Tumblr media
Third album Between the Lines was harsher, harder, more aggressive. Five Star gave up the chocolate sponsorship, replaced by toothpaste. But even that wouldn't clean their image from the deliberate dirt and grunge. "Strong as steel" and "Somewhere somebody" were the worst sort of single release - reminding us only of how good Five Star used to be. When the bubble burst, it collapsed quickly. 1988's album Rock the World was even worse.
By early 1989, the group are promoting a forthcoming Greatest Hits album, and new song "With every heartbeat". Reviews were not pleasant reading.
Carol Decker from T'Pau summarised the problems. "Her voice doesn't sound as distinctive as it used to. Now she just sounds like Gloria Estefan. They used to be very good but this is disappointing." Bandmate Ronnie Rogers also reviewed the single for Smash Hits "It's a groove with no tune. As soon as they changed their image every one of their singles has been dead boring." Record Mirror had dismissed the single: "Listening to a 5 Star record is like drowning in a bubble bath."
Tumblr media
The hostility continued through the interview on Going Live!. The segment began with a profile put together using clips of the band talking about themselves, which rather over-stated how popular they were now. Sarah Greene, the show's presenter, pointed out how prolific and busy the band had been. "Are you ever tempted to sit back, rest on your laurels for a bit?" No, they're very busy people and have been working on their next album. "Next album? You only put one out last August! Many others take two years to make an album." Was there a lack of quality control at Five Star HQ? Apparently, they're feeling very creative, including a new book which gets a quick plug.
Tumblr media
To the phones, and Barbara asks "Why Five Star have changed their image?" No, we've not changed our image, we've changed to reflect our new music, it changes gradually through fashion and our age. Barbara thinks they're more rock 'n' roll, harder, more leather and less of the spacebot matching jumpsuits.
In the studio, Tony asks what it felt like to have a number one hit. "That's a nice question!" says one of the band. Ooh, is someone feeling got at from a viewer asking a difficult question?! They never had a number 1 single in any market, though album Silk and Steel did make its way to number one.
Tumblr media
Back to the lions' den, Eliot from Langley - and his dog Tammy, who barks down the phone.
"Thanks very much Eliot, nice to hear from you!" breezed Sarah. "Tammy would have made a lot more sense." There's general sniggering and laughter in the studio audience, carefully kept out of the microphone. Let's move on to the next phone call "I heard that! Did you hear that? Crap!" said the confused caller.
Tumblr media
Charlotte in the studio asks if the band get fed up with each other and argue a lot. Of course they do, but they're family and they get along really. Of course they do.
Oh dear. This segment is falling apart. With the producer making the wise decision to drop the phone callers, and two minutes to fill, Sarah asks the studio audience for any questions. Young lad sitting next to Charlotte?
Tumblr media
"How many countries have you released records in?" asks the flop-haired youth, after a little false start. Good question. Lots of them. "So there's nowhere left for you to go?" he cheekily asks. Watch that lad, he's going to be trouble for somebody.
Sarah builds on the discussion - have Five Star forgotten what it's like to be anonymous? Not really.
Tumblr media
And if they have, it won't be long before they're completely anonymous. Five Star never had another hit album, and had to sell their swank-pad in Sunningdale when the royalties ran out.
The star of the piece was unplanned audience questionner, stand up comedian, and general loudmouth Michael McIntyre. This early brush with stardom doesn't merit inclusion in his autobiography, which begins in 2005.
And we wonder, if Michael hadn't had those twenty seconds of fame in 1989, would he have become such a hugely famous person? Would he have got his own primetime feelgood tv show? With a soundtrack deserving five stars?

Little Green Girl and her two demons.
Found Family AU
Prologue: It all starts with a teddy bear.
Tumblr media
Had it not been for her curiosity, she would have been asleep a long time ago. But again, she was three and a half year old, and any child at that age after hearing weird sounds outside would be curious, and especially after seeing a green light from her window. How was she supposed to not be painfully curious when, in her creative little mind, adventure called her name? She made sure she made no sound as she got up inside her crib, even if her parents' room was across hers and her door was closed, she just wanted to be as sneaky as possible, her little head peeping through the window as she noticed someone. Kat could barely see their face, but there was something in their hands.
“A gift for someone?” She thought, losing a bit of balance, but managing to keep still, at least enough time for her to look for a few seconds before falling back first on the soft mattress of her crib. She didn't cry, it didn't hurt, but she desperately needed to see what was going on.
“Hey, no! Come back!” The little girl heard a voice, thinking it must be that person outside, but... Who were they talking to? She heard steps and something hitting the ground softly a few times. What if it was a monster? Or worse, an alien?! No, it wasn't time to be afraid, it was time for her to be brave, and she had to go and investigate.
“OK... Just like you practiced when you stole mama's brownies.” She thought to herself, as she gathered all of her plushies this time around and placed them together, climbing them up and carefully getting on the other side. How will she come back inside, you may ask? That's a problem for future her, this is a time of crisis.
As she carefully opened her door, she saw her parent's bedroom door shut, making her sigh in relief as she tip-toed towards the stairs. Going down, there were dry sounds of something hitting the walls, and grunting. A heavy gulp went down her throat, but she couldn't back off now, not now that the sound was so close. Squeezing a little dolphin plushie she was carrying against one of her chubby little arms, Kat creeps towards one of the backyard windows, and with the help of the chair in front of it, she managed to climb up and look outside.
There was a fluffy, ten-tentacle monster on the ground, and it was pounding against the door to get in.
She almost screamed, to be honest, but all desires to do so stopped all at once when their eyes locked. Kat Elliot wanted to scream, to run and hide, but her body wouldn't move out of paralysing fear, especially when it started to crawl the wall towards the window. Should she open it? She feels like she shouldn't, but... Uhg, her curiosity was killing her. Besides, what if it was lost? There was also the possibility of her being some sort of princess that could tame any beast!
She carefully did just that, lifting it up and, finally, having that... thing face to face. She reached out her hand towards it, but the moment she did so, she cried out loud in pain. It was so fast, she didn't know what it did to her, but it hurted her way too much to keep quiet. And as quickly as it appeared, it quickly disappeared.
“Kat?!” The voice of her mother coming from upstairs made her flinch, but she didn't have a choice but to wait for them to come down. “Baby, where are you?!”
The first one to come down was Delroy, quickly coming up to his daughter, getting on his knees and taking her tiny body close to him, just so she could cry on his chest. Wilma followed soon after, getting next to him.
“Kat, baby, what happened?!” The man asked first, seeing her daughter point at the backyard door.
“Papa, there-there's something outside!”
The moment she said that, they got tense. What if it was an animal, or a person? Delroy remembered the bunch of incidents he's been reading in the newspapers for a month now, so he didn't hesitate to hand Kat to Wilma so he could get his shotgun under the sofa, and as scared as he was, he needed to check, nothing else was worth the risk of getting robbed, or getting his family hurt.
“Wilma, get upstairs, ok? Lock the door.” He whispered to get, getting a silent and quick nod as she took their sobbing child to their room.
He slowly opened the door, sweating cold, but still somewhat... sure?, maybe even hopeful that it wasn't nothing, but it didn't take long for him to realize that once he opened the door, whatever was outside quickly ran away because of the noise they made. He looked around, still with his only way of defence on his hand, but his mind was at ease that nothing was nearby anymore. He checked, just to be sure.
“... Hm?” He noticed something, though. He bent over, and looked better. It was something in a dark pink shade, and white clothing...
Tumblr media
“A teddy bear?”
“Yeah.” Delroy answered with the same tone filled with confusion his wife had. “Maybe it was one of the kids next door pulling an all nighters.” A sigh as heavy as a ton of bricks left his lips. He looked over at their daughter, who was out like a light. “Did she seriously just fell asleep?”
“Oh, you're saying that like she didn't get that from her father.” Wilma chuckled, looking down at the little girl in her arms. “I wonder how she got outta her crib.”
“Yeah...”
Delroy though to himself that it was a good call to put all plushies in their place before coming into their room. It'll spare Kat quite the disappointment.
“A mystery, really...”
People say ignorance is a bliss. Maybe it is, really, at least for this family. It's quite a bliss that they never saw the young woman that was desperately looking for that toy, all while carrying a jar filled with water and a white octopus. And none of them will speak of that night, either because it's not worth remembering, or perhaps because that night was the biggest fuck-up someone could have ever do.
Tumblr media
A grunt left his throat the moment he heard the screams from the new souls. Seriously? This early in the morning? How despicable. Today already started horrible, so black clothing it is—
“Wendell.”
No. Nope. Nah. Wendell rolled his eyes as he felt his brother right behind him, posing like a damn cat.
“Wendell. Wake up.”
“Get out—”
“Wendell I got something for our faire.”
With those seven little words, Wendell jumped out of bed with a smile that could pass as sadistic, but Wild knew better, he was actually excited. Dream Faire started as a childhood dream, but the more time they saw their father work, the more they started to question everything...
Did those souls really deserved this? Those weren't "the souls of the dammed", they were just "the souls of the danged", so did they really deserved to be treated this harshly, with such cruelty...?
“What did ya get?!”
“There's this thing that Wahnsinn got me just now! It's called fireworks in the Human Realm!” As his young brother showed him that human stuff, Wendell wondered how did that demon managed to get in and out of the world of the living. They couldn't, not by their own means, so... How, really?
“And-And they would all look up and— boom! A bunch of colorful sparks explode outta it!”
“Hmm, that actually sounds pretty neat! Everyone would love that!”
“Right?! And-And everyone would line up just to see—”
A growl was heard. It wasn't from any of them and it was obvious. Wendell sighed heavily as Wild looked at him in worry.
“Uh... You don't have to come if—”
“You know just how he gets when he's in those moods. It's better if we just go...”
Buffalo Belzer was a lot of things, but he didn't felt like a decent father to Wendell. He loved him, and he hated that, but he always had a little voice in his mind stating that he didn't love them at all...
No. No more of those stupid thoughts. He has more than one proof that showed him that yes, he did love them, and that was enough.
... It was enough, right...?

Good Ol Rust bank
A wendell and wild fanfic
Grizelda was sitting in her bedroom inside the worn out vacant home in a neighbourhood. It wasn’t exactly a neighbourhood anymore since nobody was living there , so it was just a street with houses. Everybody else, except for the council members have left. Up and gone ever since the incident with the brewery catching on fire and the incident with the Elliot’s . She didn’t know them too well , but has crossed paths with Delroy and his wife , Wilma, whom was with a green headed girl who was presumed to be their daughter . She remembers speaking to them briefly , they were going out for a walk, being friendly and neighbourly , then years later they were never seen again . she knew the klaxons were no good , and had a bad feeling that they started the fire .
“ Tssss” She hissed , her back rising with pain reflex as her burn marks were on fire. The burning sensation made her well up, she sitting down on the worn out sofa as she grimaced at the pain . she looks at the wood planks on the windows , plastered with dirty klaxon posters everywhere. she tried to make the house look a bit nice , but it’ll never be what it used to be during rust banks prime time . It will always be stuck being a rundown shitshow. She’s been stuck in this house for 10 years after having been contaminated in a jar with other demons , luckily a friendly nun let her free. She just want to go back to hell, to her family , her friends. She had hope that somebody would come her way .

Absolutely including more characters’ backgrounds and development, more emphasis and time for Kat to learn about being a hellmaiden, her powers and trauma. More about the school to prison pipeline, and a whole segment, or chapters in between or whatnot about what’s up with what’s down in the underworld! I think it would work incredibly well. Please check off your choice, and allow me hear your thoughts if you wish! I’m curious

For some reason rebloggs don’t repost, (I’m so embarrassed.) so I’m adding these drawings here as well to show you what I’ve got. I always wanted to see what comics would look like with mostly colored ballpoint pens and before I made my first drawing, I thought to myself, “Wendell and Wild would be incredible for it.” So here’s a taste of what this looks like right now.
This is my huge secret project that I’ve got happening for a month right now. Storyboards! Of course this is only the start. (I started at a part of the story that is climactic but where there’s also room for other things to happen, that I have in mind) These are also gonna be my samples of what it could look like for Monkeypaw. No joke. I’m planning for the actual comic paper that I have sitting on my cupboards begging to be filled with intense scenes, creepy atmosphere, dark humor and drama with livelihoods at stake, and lives at the stake….
……And it would be a massive honor to use them for 😈Wendell and Wild😈
