i love adam torres so much. as much as i do have problems w some of the storylines that degrassi gave him, it doesn't matter because any trans character in media is so FUCKING IMPORTANT. when adam is introduced his mom and brother are both struggling (especially his mom) with adjusting to his coming out (and also being straight up transphobic and crazy) and what not but by season 12 his mom tells him that they should start trying to get him on testosterone and its just so fucking. oh my god. idk adam's story gave me so much hope as a kid and hearing his mom say "im so proud of the man youre becoming" still makes me tear up. i love being trans
