au where everything is the same but dazai and atsushi own a flowershop
i thought cafe first but i didnt want dazai to poison everyone
like dazai quits the mafia, blows up chuuya's car, leaks a shit ton of info, wanders for like a month, meets atsushi, kidnaps atsushi, goes back to yokohama, opens a small flower shop with an apartment on top where he and atsushi live
maybe they join the ada, but mostly they sell flowers
no one in the pm or the ada really has any reason to go to a small flower shop in some random corner so no one recognizes dazai
maybe a few underlings but atsushi uses his amazing (lying) lying skills and says that's actually his brother razai or some shit and they believe him
anyway
kenji is a regular after he joins the ada btw, he comes to buy flowers and donate plants and strikes up a friendship so now dazai and atsushi get fresh fruits and veggies from kenji and yeah kenji buys flowers and puts them everywhere becuz look at how hard his friends worked on them !!
kunikida comes to visit once becuz he wanted flowers and no shop got them just right - atsushi tries his best to get them and kunikida says theyre fine and he has so reason to come again, but he does potentially becuz of the stack of books atsushi had behind the counter becuz like he had no prior education - and kunikida says he's there just becuz but he spends hours of atsushi's free time helping him study and then he says he's just there for atsushi but he also seems to enjoy dazai's company in his own kunikida way
ranpo comes claiming he got lost but dazai's pretty sure he's there for atsushi and him actually - he has little interest in the flowers but he sticks around and invites himself to dinner occasionally and likes to pick dazai's mind - he's leading them towards joining the agency lowkey but ahem its a secret
anyway the others come too im tired of thinking
akutagawa when he's dating a flower shop owning civilian and meets his brother and yeah
oh wait alternatively akutagawa watching his cute flower shop owning civilian of a crush/bf beating the enemy of the week close to death
they also sell poison but you cant prove it
