Wait, what is that? Pikachu with a steel chair countershield!?

Pikachu is on the foreground spinning on the ground, creating a tornado of yellow lightning that rises to the sky while Ash stands on the background surrounded by smoke. Both are smiling. So, here’s a question! (One that you may of answered or talked about before, if so, woops)
If Ash being put on a cross by Lysander was televised, what do you think Dawns reaction to it would’ve been? Or any of Ash’s friends tbh?
I wanted to reply with a small comic but I realize that doing that may take some time so. Text it is for now
Misty: the most worried of them all. Mentally curses Brock for not being there to take care of Ash anymore (even if he being there wouldn't have made a difference). Totally calls Delia and tells her that her son is on channel 06.
Once she learns he also had jumped on an active volcano in that same region before, she pretty much forbides Ash from going to Kalos without her or Brock or someone a little bit saner.
Brock: he changes the channel the moment one of his siblings points out that that's Ash. He ain't gonna have him be a bad example for them.
May and Drew mid-date.
Drew: isn't that your friend..?
May: Whut?
She then pratically forces the owners of the french cafe they're in to turn up the volume and hyperfocuses on the TV until Ash is safe.
After that, Drew tells Ash to stop putting himself in those situations cause he almost gave his girlfriend a heart attack that time.
Dawn: unfazed. That's Ash alright. Wait. PIKACHU TOO? NOOOOOO.
Iris: I bet she didn't see it lmao She was busy with the Unova league. But Drayden at some point is like:
D: Your friend made to the finals of the Kalos league.
I: Ohh, cool!!
D: he also almost died stopping an evil organization after that.
I: .. why am I not surprised?
Cilan: Honestly I'm not a Cilan expert but the thought of him passing out at the sight and his brothers having to care for him is funny to me.

Ladies and gentlemen, it's here. The time has come to bring an end to the Team Galactic arc for my Diamond and Pearl rewrite.
Over 10 years, 80 chapters and over a million words worth of writing in that span. It's been a journey, and even still it's nowhere near over.
So now, sit back and enjoy, and leave a review if you're so inclined. I would greatly appreciate it.

I've been thinking about them a lot for some reason, so-
Do you have any platonic Ash and Dawn headcanons? Any AU that interests you
I adore the very feral middle brother and younger sister vibes they got going in the TA!au that I have going on
\: HC
- : addition to above hc
——
\ Dawn was very much her tv counterpart up until getting sucked into Hisui alongside Ash and Pikachu. Strengthen by the fact that Piplup did not follow her through unlike Pikachu did with Ash. It broke something inside her almost instantly but Ash was able to catch her in time.
- This wasn’t Ash’s first time with other people, for fucks sake Dawn has done this before as well. They dealt with fucking Arceus and the trio when they were younger.
\ they quickly got very codependent with each other, one never leaving the others side unless it’s very important. Commander Kamado tried to get them to go separate but it usually ended up with Dawn getting in trouble that she has no way to get out of and Ash immediately sensing she’s in danger and Bull charging to her.
- six other of ten times she’s hurt. Like gash on her shoulder or electricity burns. Dawn gets majority of her scars in Hisui as well. Not nearly matching Ash’s marked body but close enough.
\ they were Captain Cyllene M’sorry favorite.Though Ash was the favorite out of the pair. Their humor was very dry and witty and it was like watching a tennis match how Dawns head would look back and forth. They were both very good on polite shit talking and it was impressive.
- Dawn of course learns this later on in Hisui near the end. Especially when Kamado declares them the problem and chucks them out of Jubilife village. She’s viciously defends them while Ash goes nearly berserk trying to figure out wtf is happening. It was very clear to her that her strength levels had absolutely no chance to compare to Ash’s.
\ they both work out in a public gym close to the labs when their both in Sinnoh. Ash helps her with her strength and she helps him with agility.
\ Dawns improvements in contests is astounding and people question her how she was able to grow so much in that short time she has been away (it was longer in Hisui and it drives her a little more insane every time someone brings it up) and she can’t say shit.
- to hear that the Rowan family was understanding and that Ash personally understood how it feels, she’s never been more seen and welcomed in her life. Not even in her mothers house at the time either, especially after her dad has left.
\ Dawn gets called a mini-Ash jokingly by the others declaring he “gave her all her bad habits” but she uses it against Ash as well. It’s followed by a lot of sibling bickering between her, Ash and Gary.
