speaking of pokemon teams, help me with this

I know I showed you teams with them on Discord, but how do you feel about the idea of the Arceus Chronicles Trio having their respective Lake Trio Pokémon? (Azelf for Ash, Mesprit for Dawn, Uxie for Goh)

As for me, the idea of Dawn motherfucking Berlitz having a damn Mesprit is so raw to me for some reason so I like the idea lmao

NGL the main Sinnoh legendaries (the ones connected with the creation Myth, so like not Darkrai, Cresselia, Shaymin, Heatran, etc) feel too special for me to ever be caught. Not to mention that those are the few ones that seem to be like, singular pokemon and not one of a species like Lugia, Suicune and so on.

I mean, it can work. Specially if you go for a scenario similar to Goh's Suicune, where they catch the lake deities but leave them at their respective places in Sinnoh and just idk the Trio contacts the kiddos telepatically whenever they need them or something :v

Or do the Legends Arceus style and say that instead of catching the actual mons, Arceus gifts them a copy of the OGs instead?

Do you have any tips for drawing? I just bought me a iPad with an Apple Pencil and I wanted to start drawing digital. I use a app call procreate

If you already draw on paper, try to set the Ipad in similar position to the one you use while drawing on paper. Makes it easier to adapt from one media to the other.

If you are just starting to draw period; look for tutorials, specially on art fundamentals and anything focused on Procreate to get started. Depending on what you're looking for doing the most (if it's comics, paintings or something else), search for tutorials focused on that too. There's a lot of thoughts that goes into different types of art.

Line of action and gesture drawings are your best friends to avoid stiff looking drawings and personally the easiest of the "advanced artist" studies that an absolute noob can start with I think.

The art resource and art help tags here on tumblr are awesome for you to follow and just be bombarded with cool tutorials without having to search for them! Like, seriously I think I learned so much little fun things just because of posts like that popping in my dash out of nowhere :v

Draw stuff that you like! Specially before or after (or even during) studies!! Studying to get better IS TIRING AND BORING AND SCARY! But when you draw the things you always wanted to draw it's such a confidence booster asjdopasdjoa so yeah, be self indulgent, it helps keep your motivation!

Lastly, don't fixate on artstyles or the feel that you aren't growing or even like, internet attention. I promise, those are not that important. Style comes with time, you never stop learning and gosh, with the way social media works nowadays is best if you don't pay attention to numbers at all.

Like, it's almost poetic. That Ash never forgot a thing about Dawn. The boy who forgets shit like type match ups all the time lmao

She calls him for everything and anything, when she needs support, when she just wants to share a fun festival happening in her home region. Their relationship is still so close despite the distance of where they live.

And just, despite everything, there was such an effort from the writers of not forgetting the little things about their relationship and it makes me so ashdsuiadiadnsiajna I LOVE THEM QAQ

Nah. I haven't watched the new anime yet so I have no strong feelings for those kiddos. But more than that, I don't see any reason for them to meet Ash's gang.

None of the HZ kiddos have similar interests to anyone from the Ashnime, they don't have goals that could align with other folk's and allow any reasonable encounters so.. yeah. Unless the anime gives them something to do unrelated to Lucius in the upcoming years, nah, don't see myself touching any of the HZs original characters.

I have no idea of someone for Misty, really. And honestly at least for my AU I think her being single is the best option (I feel like Misty is that person who puts her job first so she wouldn't have time for relationships).

Do you think Ash ever reunites with Larvitar? Tyranitar would be a cool addition to his team.

I plan for Ash to meet it but not catch it (as of now. Depending on how I write Tar I may get attached lmao we'll see).

My idea so far is for Ash to go to Mt Silver and learn that the now Tyranitar has been taking care of the Ho-oh temple in there and have some good ol catching up but not catching it :v

ngl I share the same mentality as Nanu, that Ash and dark types just... don't match.. so I always find myself avoiding such pokemon with him (would be fun to shake up his battle style? TOTALLY! Again, married Pearl is not my favorite (if anything this is the kind of marriage they would have and the kind of relationship that maybe i would like so maybe im projecting, who knows), but let's give it a shot.

I think Dawn would be the one more likely to do it tbh. They would talk about the possibility and Ash would be like "sure, why not?" and then she would spend days if not weeks planning on how to officially propose him. I think she would try a bunch of ideas and fail at them everytime (imagine her doing the "ring in food" bit only for him to choke on it LMAO) and everytime he would be like "you can just ask without a whole ceremony behind it? I will say yes no matter what." and she would be like "NO! It got to be special!!"

But in the end I think she would do it after winning a contest or some battle of his, or after a tag battle together yknow? Something completely spontaneous and that would surprise both of them :3c
