Dark Rimuru, Dark Rimura and Dark Rimuro from Kirby 64!
In my hc, all of them are Swordsman’s three annoying little sisters
I don’t think the dark matter species is ‘that’ serious/scary as people make it out to be. Most of them are meanie little gals
Gooey’s not really present in the dark matter family, he’s mostly hanging out with the animal friends. Bro’s the middle child he’s tired of being ignored in the family
Also here’s their family dynamic

New Kirby AU I thought up that I sadly don’t have a name for yet
So far I’ve been calling it the “Ado-ption” AU but that’s a little vague for it
What if Adeleine was left on Shiver Star, and never made it to Pop Star? She’s left in the cold, struggling to survive, when she’s found by a group of usually sinister scouts that were looking around the planet for anything to conquer. Dark matter. A very small but highly ranked scouting group led by none other than the Swordsman himself. He, along with Rimuru, Rimura, and Rimuro, find Adeleine half frozen in the snow. Since she’s the only still living thing they’ve found, they decide to… take her back home.
They arrive back at the sinister lair between space itself where the home of Dark Matter is. Upon arriving at the twisted dark castle, all the other dark matter spawn are crowding around, trying to get a look at what they have. Adeleine, now more awake and much less cold, is presented to 0, who is… rather unimpressed by her. He tells Swordsman and the others they can keep her, and that she isn’t something to be thrown around for possession. A very young and very scared Adeleine is given her own room, and cared for by dark matter.
Eventually her skills of being able to bring her drawings to life are found out, and 0 is much less disdainful of her, instead making the four who found her pledge their lives to keep her safe because of how valuable that could be. They agree, and Adeleine is raised amongst dark matter.
She doesn’t feel outcast at all as she grows up, being happy with all her dark matter friends, and considers her rescuers family. She calls Rimuru, Rimura, and Rimuro her cousins, and Swordsman her older brother. She even calls 0 her uncle. Despite growing up around creatures that feed off negativity, Adeleine is still cheerful and happy, even if it makes those around her feel almost sick.
When Swordsman is sent to Pop Star to scout for an invasion, Adeleine begs him to take her too. Reluctantly, he agrees, and lets her explore Pop Star, thinking he’ll just find her and take her back when all is said and done. Unfortunately, he gets beat horribly by Kirby and has to return to the dark matter lair, leaving Adeleine on Pop Star. She doesn’t mind, having a wonderful time seeing real colors and beautiful landscapes. When 0 goes to Pop Star, Adeleine is delighted to see dark matter show up, and is even accompanied by one to Cloudy Park, and told to use her skills to fight off Kirby when he arrives. She loses, and 0 is temporarily beaten, and ends up stuck again.
When 0 comes back as 0² and brings Rimuru, Rimura, and Rimuro with him, Rimura ends up finding Adeleine painting in the forest. Before he can actually try to explain to her what’s going on, he’s chased away by Kirby, Ribbon, and Waddle Dee, and meets up with Rimuru and Rimuro. Adeleine ends up joining the heroes on their quest, and after they pick up Dedede, continues on with them. Everything goes along as normal, until Ripple Star. Adeleine immediately recognizes that the planet has been taken over by dark matter, and tells Ribbon that there isn’t anything to worry about. Everyone is shocked that Adeleine suddenly doesn’t seem to care, but she’s grown up genuinely believing that dark matter is, well… good. After all, no dark matter has ever tried to hurt her, and her uncle 0 would never take over a planet to harm the inhabitants, just to help them. Adeleine leaves the rest of the group after getting in a fight with them, and is seen by Queen Ripple, who is still possessed by 0². Upon seeing Adeleine sulking around, 0² immediately leaves the queen’s body, leaving her to run back to the castle and try to warn everyone. 0² assures Adeleine that everything is fine, but Adeleine says she wants to go home, and 0² has all the dark matter leaves Ripple Star, and they return home.
Adeleine lives happily with her dark matter family, and unfortunately for everyone else in the galaxy, 0², the Swordsman, and all the rest of dark matter is now a constant and looming threat.
So, that’s the basic synopsis of it. I actually really like this idea because there’s just- so much to do with it. Also it’s kinda like the opposite of Apologies in a way? The older brother thing was coincidental but I kept it after realizing that. Also the thought of this giant, terrifying evil force just not wanting his “adoptive” niece to be sad so he literally calls off the invasion of an entire planet is hysterical to me.
Also, Adeleine does not appear in Star Allies in this AU. Ribbon is by herself and uses her whole toolkit as the “Guardian of the Crystal”. Instead, she (along with the rest of dark matter) watch from afar in the dark castle, seeing all of Kirby’s adventures, waiting for their next time to strike. Void Termina will occasionally visit, and Adeleine calls him “great uncle Termina”. Void was described to her as her “who knows who many greats grandfather” by Swordsman.
