Danganronpa Fantasy AU!

Kokichi Ouma - the werewolf thief

Backstory time

Kokichi doesn’t come from the same region as most of the characters. He’s living near the town everyone lives in though. He was a part of the north tribe until they kicked him out, so he decided to make his own pack. But… his pack is not only made of werewolves!

As a kid who had to deal with everything by himself he decided to help others now. And that’s how D.I.C.E. was created! Just a bunch of lonely kids being one big family. They are thieves though… and not everyone really likes that. Most of people in town think of Kokichi as nothing more than trouble. He really cares about others though, but in his own way. He’s just a little annoying 💜

Alright so I’m gonna give you some basic backstory since now on. I’m also gonna edit my old posts to have the same format. You can ask my questions about them anytime! Both here and on my separate blog made for this AU

Ahhhhhhh y’all please read @clickingkeys DR halloween fic collection they have such simple premises but in such a nice and easy to follow and invest in way !

I was inspired and y’all know how much I love komahina and komakura so I was really excited to draw a little sketch of fanart from one of the chapters qwq ( there’s a lot of vampire nagito fics and those are really nice too, but surprisingly less vampire Izuru even though he looks just like one ^^)

I had a lot of fun with the posing on this one and the expressions too ! (I’m faceblind so it was nice and challenging which I think is what I’ve been needing for my art recently ^^)it’s probably a little bit wonky looking cause of that but I had fun and I like it for how dynamic it is compared to my usual stuff so it’s good in my book ^^

Well, I didn't have the mood to draw fantasy au for a long time. But at least I made two more designs.👏 And I drew a portrait with only one of them-

In any case, I present to your attention my version of Chiaki and Usami in fantasy au! Chiaki is a simple adventurer who belongs to a guild with a desire to see the world. One day she happened to meet a strange fluffy creature who called herself the greatest sorceress of the century. However, no one in the world knows about it, for some reason. Usami was indeed a powerful sorceress in the past, but she was cursed. So she's locked up in the shape of a flying fluffy thing, and no one remembers her exploits. However, Chiaki, having concluded a contract with Usami, became able to temporarily take over the curse on herself, which allows Usami to take human form and fight. So they joined the guild together to break the curse of the Usami and travel through the magical world.

Oh, Chiaki also has a bottomless purse! Very convenient and practical!

the struggle i have with a DR/DND au is that makoto is a commoner with weirdly good rolls forced to be an eloquence bard but born to be a redemption paladin. i think future foundation would force him into this role of pure outward support and not allowing him to have spells that could be used for a bit of violence. of course he agrees, he doesnt want to hurt anyone, but is charming swathes of people much better? is it right to dedicate himself to a practice that magically ensures he can convince all but the most hard-headed of people?

all he wants to do is help people. he's honest and loyal, and a supreme pacifist, but knows when to fight. he'll do everything in his power to help someone, but if that dedication is somehow not enough, he has the power to help that he can. redemption paladin makoto is real and true

Also since I'm talking about this Au again here's the demigod fam for the Tumblr people who have no idea what I'm talking about

"Brief" explanation of their roles bellow

So there are gods, but they're in such a different level from everything else that they don't care to watch iver and solve problems of their creations so they made the demigods to do the work they don't bother doing themselves.

So each demigod has a role they're meant to fulfill for eternity, they're very powerful and pretty much immortal. They don't get sick, they don't die of old age, but they can be killed. And if that happens the gods will make a new demigod to replace the old one, because dying is seen as a failure for them so they'd rather assign someone else for the role than revive the old one.

Tsurugi is the demigod of justice, he was the first to be created and is like a thousand years old. His role is to watch over all of humanity and if a catastrophic level threat ever arrives, it's his job to neutralize it and restore order. To his dismay, he's not allowed to inverne and just kill every single criminal ever, he's only meant to show up when it's a threat so strong that could destroy the world or cause massive irreparable damage. In the meantime, he spends his days traveling across the world to make sure nothing crazy is happening, training and occasionally visiting his kids.

He used to live in the Sky palace with Kinji, who was the original demigod of knowledge, created at around the same time as Tsurugi himself, and his husband who he raised the twins with. But after Kanade killed him Tsurugi began avoiding the palace since it brought him bad memories.

Hibiki and Kanade are the demigods of heaven and hell respectively, they were originally created as a single diety, the godness of afterlife. But a creature equally good and evil just can't exist, one is always a little stronger than the other, so this god collapsed and split into two demigods which are the twins. Thing is, they were born with grey fur and no outright devil or angel characteristics, so the gods put to be raised by Kinji and Tsurugi until these traits started showing and they could start training to fulfill their roles.

Their job is to decide the fates of living creatures after their deaths and guide them to their respective afterlife.

Kokoro is the current demigod of knowledge, she was created to fulfill that role after Kinji died. She was put to be raised by Tsurugi alone since Hibiki and Kanade had been sent to heaven and hell to start their training to become the demigods of those realms.

Her job is to take care of the Sky palace and protect it at all costs, this place is a big sanctuary/shrine on the top of a huge mountain that countians countless of books created by the gods that hold all knowledge of their universe, Kokoro herself has read all of these books and holds their knowledge, so she's aware of the crazy damage they could do if ever placed in the wrong hands. While there isn't any physical barrier stopping her from leaving, she's not allowed to do so cuz she can't just leave the place unprotected.

Lastly there's Mikako, who is not a demigod, but she is Kokoro's so still part of the family.

You see, Kokoro still struggles with understanding emotions and is curious about them in this Au, because it's one thing to have knowledge of what they are and mean and another thing to actually experience these things and build a connection to someone. But since she's isolated in the palace most of the time she doesn't interact much with anyone, even her family can't visit as often as they wish due to their own jobs as demigods.

Very rarely mortal beings will make their way up there to seek her guidance and that's how she met Sojiro, she wanted feel and experience what's like to love someone romantically and to love someone as a mother, which is why she had Mikako. She was so enamored by this idea of building her own family that she failed to notice Sojiro's true intentions, when Mikako was still a baby he took her away in the middle of the night, Kokoro noticed and tried to intervene but she couldn't bring herself to kill him, Sojiro took advantage of that and stabbled her legs repeatedly so that she couldn't follow them.

What he wanted with the kid is that he thought by being from a demigod she would be on a similar level as one and he could use her for power, to his dismay, demigod powers don't get passed down by birth so Mikako is basically just a normal human. He abandoned her once he realized and she qas eventually found and adopted by Hanzo Kisaragi.

Uhoh thinking about my fantasy au again !

Little Mermaid but the punishment for failing to have your feelings returned isn’t death by seafoam but nothing. The ocean simply repels you. I thought it was a cool idea and Fit Nagito’s character pretty well so I’m utilizing it here !

It does make certain fight scenes in my head extra cool though lol

Cons:

- Eternal longing and yearning for his home and previous state of being, as well as a broken heart ( courtesy of the person he fell in love with)

-Strange obsessive dependence on bathing and being clean ( mental substitute for ocean water basically)

Pros: ocean water repels itself from his lungs too so he can’t drown and can even “walk” on ocean water! ( he probably sees the first one as a con though:(

Yo, long time no see! Mod Kokichi here with an update about this blog.

We are going to be starting this blog back up back up! I will revamp this blog to be a general blog about the fantasy AU I have created.

I will be going through and deleting all rp stuff as I no longer want to do that with this blog.

I will also be keeping everything else we have established so far.

Once the revamping is done here is what you can expect:

More written lore about other characters and not just Shuichi and Kokichi. Along with more world lore whenever we remember stuff.

Random text posts about all characters in this AU

Shuichi, Kaito, and Kokichi will be predominantly talked about but not be the only ones.

ask box will still be open for character or general asks. (We will get to the ones that have already been sent in.)
