Billy dunne x fem reader. Yes I’m aware I put this in the finnick tag, it’s the same actor and idgaf so keep it cute
smut, talk of sex, drugs and everything in between, fic is veryyy AU like the interviewer isn’t billys daughter, it was never specified but I imagine it as grahams and everyone in the band are still good friends. Read note at the end
2006
Narrator: let’s talk about the incident of ‘76
Daisy: “what a time to be alive” she said before bursting out laughing
Karen: “messy, messy, messy”
Graham choked on his water
Warren: original Pam and Tommy I swear *starts cackling* y/n was the og 90s girl before the 90s especially her fashion sense…. And other things..”
Eddie just started at the camera
Y/n: “made a shit ton of money” She says, laughing when someone out of frame catches her eye
Billy: “well. Um.” He stutters out rubbing his beard before he’s thrown a magazine by someone out of frame. “Oh, well this pretty much sums up the year” he says before flipping the magazine around to the camera
Tumblr media
1976
“Fuck” You whine out, attempting to clench your legs around Billy’s head.
“Keep the camera straight doll” he rasps out before going back to absolutely devouring your cunt. Your senses are completely overwhelmed between billy’s head between your thighs suctioning his mouth to your swollen clit and the loud party in the next hotel room over with the rest of the band. You guys snuck away as soon as possible, leading to billy stripping you of all your clothes but making you leave your high heels on
“Billy, shit I’m gonna cum” you loudly moan out as you move the camera closer to your cunt. You swear you almost smacked the shit out of him when he took his mouth off your pussy stopping your orgasm. He sat up so that he could kiss you, immediately shoving his tongue in your mouth as you lightly suck on it.
Billy grabbed the camera from your hands and pointed it down at you as you laughed grinning up at him. “Fucking ethereal” he groans out as he looks through the grainy video. He grabs your leg putting it over his shoulder as he lightly kisses your ankle that still has your high heel straps on. He switches the Camera to his other hand as he gropes your tit “billy if you don’t fuck me right now I’m gonna go crazy” “you already are doll”
Next thing you know you’re getting pounded into oblivion with a camera positioned at the both of you, billy had your legs around his hips as he was in a sitting up position absolutely rearranging your organs “Fuck, Fucking hell” you almost scream out as you feel his tip hit that spongey spot deep inside you “yeah, did I find it?” He groans out “yes! Yeah! Right there!” You whine as he starts rubbing your clit so fast that you swear his hand blurs.
“Oh my god! Billy, I’m cumming, yeah!” You say as you clench so hard around his you almost push him out completely
“Fuck, Jesus Christ” he moans. You can tell he’s about to cum by the way he’s twitching inside you “where do you want me doll” he groans as he pulls your head back exposing your neck as your eyes roll completely back in your head and your hair sticks to your face from sweat and mixed saliva
“Inside, please, fill me up” you moan as you being to cum mid sentence, white hot pleasure taking over your body and Billy’s cum filling you up only adds to the feeling.
You only take less than a minute before you’re grabbing the camera again and pressing record as you climb on top of him shoving his dick back inside you. He grabs the camera from your hold to switch the view pointing it at your cunt bouncing up and down on him.
The sound of the wet smacking from your creamy cum at his base fills the room as you viscously ride him as he begins to flick at your clit again and shows the camera the prominent bulge deep in your stomach.
The next thing you guys filmed was billy face fucking you to oblivion and the last thing filmed was billy pointing the camera down at you giggling with a wide smile and he rubbed his hand up and down ur body that was covered in sweat and thick layers of your shared cum
★ ✰ ✦ ♡ ♤ *ੈ✩‧₊˚.
Way too many rounds later you and billy took a shower (and definitely didn’t go for 2 more) and went out for a smoke without thinking twice about the video camera lying on your dirtied hotel bed and most definitely didn’t think that Jonah berg would be the one to find it when he went looking for you two
★ ✰ ✦ ♡ ♤ *ੈ✩‧₊˚.
“Rockstars steamy x rated film leaked as many tell their opinions” you read out to billy and the band from a rolling stone magazine
Everyone had a shocked look in their face while billys face was pink with rage and looked ready to commit murder
“If it helps I haven’t heard one bad thing about it” Daisy says
“Yeah I mean you guys looked rockin So I don’t see why anyone would be too brutal….” Warren rambles before slowing down once he realized everyone was staring at him
“You watched my brothers sex tape…?” Graham says just above a whisper absolutely horrified
“Okay- we’ll- hear me out” Warren stutters out with his pointer finger in the air trying to make a point
“NOPE NOPE” Graham cuts him of by dramatically gagging and running out of the room
Warren turns back to the band once Graham left with a wide guilty grin on his face
“So um..” he begins
“I don’t care that you watched it Warren, I would be surprised if you hadn’t watched it” you say rolling your eyes
“Right okay” he strains out defeated
“Okay… as I was saying, I haven’t heard anything bad, I mean obviously it’s an awful thing but there is little to none slut shaming which is surprising, everyone is just being horny but hey it’s better than everyone calling you a whore” Daisy shrugs
“Okay but did everyone forget what we are here for, you guys have tour press today in less than 3 hours” you stress to the band
Billy wraps with hand around your neck and kisses your head.
It’s not like you and billy are deathly afraid of public pda, it’s actually the quite opposite, you couldn’t even count the amount of times you guys had been caught with his tongue down your throat, hand wrapped around your neck and practically dry humping you In the middle of downtown Los Angeles.
“We are gonna figure something out with that psycho, I promise.” He mumbles into your hair.
★ ✰ ✦ ♡ ♤ *ੈ✩‧₊˚.
“Daisy over here!” “Billy to your left!”
“What do you have to say about the leaked videos?” “Who’s the man you married Daisy?”
“Okay okay ONE at a time please” rod interrupts
“What do you all have to say about the leaked explicit tape of your lead man and his girlfriend and it possibly ruining her image?” one reporter asks the band as if billy isn’t right there
“Why should it ruin her image? It was an intimate moment between the two that got leaked by a fucking pervert, I’ve only heard people talk about y/n and nothing about billy, it’s NATURAL, y/n is an extremely talented and good looking woman, you guys are talking about it like you’re a bunch of fuckin virgins.” Daisy says to all the reporters
“And we will be expecting to see Jonah berg in court” Is the only thing billy said before rod cut time.
2006
Warren: The berg-dunne-l/n lawsuit was the biggest thing of the decade and even in pop culture, I mean I still hear about it now”
Daisy: billy and y/n were very shameless people, they had the guts most people didn’t have, that being said; for all 7 days the case lasted they had every second broadcasted on live television
Y/n: what can i say? My kink is karma” she shrugs
Warren: I remember that the day they had me testify when we were leaving the building it was just a sea of paparazzi and flashing cameras, they even had security trying to pave a way to the car through all the paps, I also remember that once the security guard moved out the way and y/n came into their view- I will always remember this, it was truly an iconic moment but one of them just yelled out “y/n what’s up baby!” and then the blinding lights got ten times worse” he says with a chuckle
Karen: it was just insane that even despite the fact that they showed up to court everyday high cocaine they still managed to win the case getting 4 million dollars which mind you, was worth what 17 million today would be from rolling stone and Jonah berg” She says in disbelief
Daisy: remember when I said they were both very shameless people?
Eddie: yeah well after the case people and when I say people I mean like two news outlets called them embarrassed prudes or something like that and them being stubborn decided to really shut them up. In better words they decided to be the cover of the fall ‘76 playboy issue” he says thinning his lips
Rod: if I recall correctly I’m pretty sure that was the most popular playboy magazine of all time, I mean it was everywhere, every gas station, every corner you turned, they even had one of those big posters put up on the walls out by Venice beach area
Graham: yeah, um it wasn’t fun seeing my brother and his girlfriend naked every corner I turned.” He strains out
Billy: well it was definitely an interesting year, even after the case was closed we still had paparazzi following our every move, sometimes it would be worse than others, I remember we were at a party once after a show in Vegas and me and y/n were absolutely trashed, basically blackout drunk and high but the cameras were there and the next morning we of course saw our faces plastered on the cover of star magazine” he says slightly laughing
Y/n: yeah that was definitely a magazine cover! But we were practically hanging off each other trying not to completely collapse on the floor
Narrator: do you ever wish you were never famous and lived a normal life?
Y/n: Well to be honest no.
Billy: even though it was a very hectic year that was probably the best year in that era, I got married to my wife that year
Y/n: that would be meeeeee” she says cheekily
Karen: I had a joke that was saying “rub it in their face put a rock on her hand” because them two were basically a married couple at that point and they took that seriously
Extra
Narrator: let’s talk about the incident of ‘76
Jonah berg: next question.
★ ✰ ✦ ♡ ♤ *ੈ✩‧₊˚.
Y/n: it was all very-“ she’s cut off by billy running behind her and quickly grabbing her face and hastily kissing her and then running off before she can even process what happened.
★ ✰ ✦ ♡ ♤ *ੈ✩‧₊˚.
During the break with the interview y/n and billy are talking and out of the blue she sits up remember something
“Do you remember the time we had a threesome with Daisy” she laughs out

XO
(flashbacks in italics)
Nothing was ever Daisy’s fault, was it?
At least, that’s what Graham Dunne thought when he got a call from Karen saying his girl was wasted at a party with Daisy attached to your hip.
She should have known what you were struggling with, she should have known that you couldn’t handle a party, she should have known this wasn’t what you needed. Daisy Jones should’ve fucking known.
To be completely fair, they really all should’ve known. You’d been around since day 1. Everyone knew better, Daisy just happened to be the red corvette.
-
“You can’t keep doing this, my love.” Camilla whispered oh so gently, holding your hair back from your face, pressing a cold rag to your neck.
It was a small gig, at some shitty bar called Tony’s in Pittsburgh. The band always had a couple beers and maybe a shot or two before a show but you had begun to need more. You snuck vodka into your water bottles and begged the bartenders to sneak you a couple free extras by pulling your top down and leaning over the bar, using your forearms to push your tits up.
It worked every time. Pigs.
“Can do whatever I want.” You slurred, cheek pressed to the toilet seat.
But damnit, you knew she was right.
Tony’s wasn’t the first time.
There was Rod’s, and The Ladie’s Room, and The Shiner Saloon, and some girl named Lisa’s 18th birthday party. It was becoming a pattern, everyone could tell.
You always went back to your house after a show. Your parents had been completely absent since you were 15, you never knew where they were. And after every show, their cars were never once in the driveway.
A safespace.
Billy would sit outside of the bathroom, head leaning against the door while Graham waited in the living room, arms crossed and head down, not wanting to listen to your cries and shakes of pain.
Eddie would retreat to the guest room, but he usually wouldn’t be able to fall asleep til he heard the click of your door next to his.
Warren would be passed out on the couch as soon as you all walked through the door, not that he didn’t care about you immensely, but the poor kid could just not stay awake if he was tired.
“I wanna go to bed.” You said.
Camilla sighed, “Are you sure you’re ready?”
You nodded and so did Camilla. She got up to get Billy like she always did, and he’d come and pick you up off of the bathroom floor, as he always did, and carry you to your room and lay you on the bed, letting Camilla make sure you’re comfortable, like she always did.
Graham would come in and ask how you’re doing, like he always did, and he’d make himself comfortable on your floor with throw pillows and spare blankets, like he always did.
But that night, after Tony’s, things changed.
“I can’t do this anymore, Graham.” You whimpered.
Fuck.
This was early days, Graham was still awkward as hell and didn’t know how to go about things like this.
“Do what?” He croaked, mustering up the courage to be there for you.
“This. I can’t live like this. I’m afraid I’m gonna kill myself.”
Graham was up in an instant, reaching for the doorknob. “Do you want me to get Camilla?”
You shook your head, “No, please. Just-” You wiped a tear from your cheek, “Will you just lay with me?”
“Anything.” Graham breathed as he settled into bed next to you. You immediately wrapped your arms around him, being too drunk to care about any awkwardness and Graham was thankful.
“We’ll get you out of this, promise.”
-
That was the last time anybody saw you drink anything besides a beer or two, following that was shirley temples and cherry cokes.
Nobody really knew the heaviness of addiction then, but they knew that you were happier, and that’s all that really mattered to them. You were even laughing at Warren’s jokes and Billy and Eddie’s lame bickering, everything felt okay.
“You don’t drink?” Karen had asked, the first time you properly met in California, while she was digging through the fridge searching for a beer. You shook your head, hoping you weren’t going to get some crazy reaction like you were a zoo animal in a cage like you got from most people.
She just nodded, a small smile playing at her lips as she pulled two coca cola bottles from the fridge, popping them open with her ring and handing you one.
“Cheers to that.”
You were sober enough to realize you were in love with Graham, and confident enough to tell him. And man, he could’ve exploded.
There was a celebration, at the house in Laurel Canyon, just the 7 of you.
Warren recalls later that Graham looked like he’d been dipped in sunshine and rainbows.
“Like he’d just smoked sunshine and been fucked by a rainbow. It was crazy, man.”
Well, almost.
You’d been around the band multiple times while they drank and it was never a problem. You’d have the first round of beers with them then tap out, but you always stayed and had fun, smoked a couple joints and cigarettes, never without a mocktail or coca cola in your hand. Sometimes, usually Karen or Camilla, someone would join you on the sober night, and that always felt really nice.
That night had felt different, you were scared.
-
“I’m gonna fuck him up Warren…” You said as you laid on the floor with the drummer as Down By The Seaside by Led Zeppelin played from the record player, Warren laughed.
“Yeah you are.” He said, his tone suggestive as he bumped his elbow with yours.
You rolled your eyes, fighting the heat creeping into your cheeks. “You know what I mean, man. I’m gonna ruin him.”
Warren had known you long enough and listened to enough of the songs you wrote to where he’d like to think he knew you pretty well.
And you never opened up out of the blue unless you were drunk.
“Have you been drinking?” He asked, not looking up from the ceiling. You scoffed.
“I still have a beer here and there, Warren.”
“You know what I mean, man.” He repeated your words back to you and you felt like you couldn’t breathe.
“I’m going to bed.” You said and stood up, trying your hardest not to stumble or slur.
“Honey…” Warren started, pushing himself off of the floor to try to stop you.
“NO!” You whipped around, flipping your hair so forcefully it stung your face but you were quick to pull it back.
“Don’t fucking- don’t fucking do that, man!” You started, holding a hand up. “My own friends don’t even fucking trust me i’m just constantly babied! Do you know how that feels?”
At that point, Karen, Eddie and Billy had tuned in, being in the kitchen. Camilla and Graham must have been elsewhere, he had always confided in her like a sister.
“Hey–” Billy tried to interject with a hand on your wrist but you were quick to pull away.
“Huh?! Do any of you know how that feels?!” You were borderline screaming now, and everyone was speaking to you so softly, hands slowly trying to grasp you and it made you want to scream even louder.
“How dare you ‘ccuse me of something like that asshole?” You were beginning to slur your words, the tequila you’d snuck from Warren’s room starting to hit pretty heavily, making your eyes droop and words slur.
“Baby, please-” Karen started, making the move to grasp your arm but you turned and lost your balance, nearly falling but Eddie was quick to catch you, he held on tight and didn’t dare let go until you calmed down or Graham came back. Billy had left minutes ago to find him and Camilla, who had taken a walk so he could freely gush about his new girl without the chances of anyone else hearing.
“Need you to calm down, babe.” Eddie whispered, running a hand up and down your arm for comfort.
“None of you even care!”
Warren shook his head alongside Karen, both of them had squatted in front of you, doing their best to provide what you needed.
“That’s not true.”
“I fucking hate you all!”
“You don’t mean that.”
“I don’t wanna be here anymore!”
And then he said your name.
You froze.
He was gonna leave you, you were so sure of it. You worked so hard to be better for him and it didn’t work.
“No…” You whimpered and you swore you saw Graham break in front of your eyes.
“You can’t- you can’t see this.”
But he didn’t care. He knelt in front of you and Eddie and gathered you into his own arms, completely silent as he carried you to his room and you wanted to disappear into him so badly.
“‘M so sorry…” You slurred, and still he was quiet. You let him undress you and replace your pretty top and flared jeans with his own tee shirt and boxer shorts.
You watched as he changed into a similar outfit as you picked at your nails. “Graham, I-”
He sighed and placed his hands on either sides of your cheeks, placing a firm kiss on your forehead that only made you cry harder. You brought your hands up to grip his wrists, not willing to let go of the feeling of his lips on your skin.
“I’ve ruined everything, haven’t I?”
Graham was silent again as he pulled you into his bed with him, covering you both with the large duvet.
“Not in the slightest.”
-
That night was really the last night anybody had seen you get drunk like that.
Then, Daisy Jones came along.
And you learned how to keep bad habits a secret.
Tequila and mints in the bathroom, water and cherry cokes with the band. A shot of jameson to fall asleep. Champagne to wake up, brush your teeth. A beer in the shower after lunch, leave the evidence in Warren’s room since there were hundreds of empty ones anyway.
It’s not like Daisy was teaching you one on one, you just started watching her, and you liked the way she got away with it.
No one told Daisy about your issue either, you could hold your own and you had asked them not to, so lips were sealed.
But it took everything in Graham and Billy not to tell her to tread lightly every time they saw the two of you sneak off on your own.
And now here was Graham Dunne, sitting in the driver's seat of the van outside of God knows who’s house, with Camilla in the passenger’s seat and Billy in the back. Moral support.
“Want us to come with you?”
Graham shook his head. “I need to do this alone.”
Billy scoffed, “I’m not gonna let you go in there with our two hot headed alcoholic rage sisters. Cam, you stay here.”
“Nope, you go I go. You two get our girl, I’ll handle Daisy.”
The three bickered a moment but finally settled on their plan. Graham and Camilla would take you, while Karen and Billy took Daisy, since the blonde girl drove.
“Fucking finally.” Karen exasperated as she saw her friends walk into the backyard of the party while trying her hardest to hold you upright.
“Where is Daisy?” Billy spat immediately, making eyes around the party. You had always been like a sister to him, in the way Camilla was to Graham, and he could’ve killed the redheaded girl in that moment.
“Beats me.” Karen said, passing off your deadweight into Graham, who was quickly supported by Billy. Your head lulled onto your boyfriend's shoulder, recognizing him as a source of comfort even in your inebriated state.
It made his soul ache.
“Is Simone here?” Camilla asked.
Karen shook her head, “Was. Split as soon as she and Daisy got into a fight. Offered to take this one” she nodded her head at you “home with her but I figured it’d be best if you guys came.”
Graham shook his head, “You made the right call, thank you.”
“Yeah, well uh, I sure as hell can’t drive. Got drunk as hell before even stepping foot in the backyard, soon as I saw (Y/n) I stepped in and called you guys immediately.”
“Do we need to get Daisy?”
“That’s a fight you sure as hell don’t wanna have. Yelled at me just for taking ‘her best friend’ away from her to get her some water.”
Billy rolled his eyes.
Graham and Billy began making their way out of the party with you slung around their shoulders, and Camilla walking arm in arm with a very drunk Karen who kept tripping over feet.
And suddenly red hair and sparkling eyes were in front of them.
“Ohhh no, what happened to my girl?” She tried to touch your face but Billy pulled you away, ready to say something before Graham spoke up, surprising everyone.
“Your girl, Daisy?!” His voice boomed, no doubt you’d be embarrassed if you were in any way conscious. “This is my girl, our girl.” He gestured to the rest of the group. “And I’d say it’s in your best interest to leave her the hell alone from now on.”
-
Graham was a mess when he got you home.
Daisy ended up at the house not too long after the rest, explaining she didn’t know the situation, apologizing profusely, informing them all you had been drinking for months. She told them in a sullen voice that you hadn’t been this bad last time she saw her, that she thinks someone must have done it to you.
Graham understood, he did. But he couldn’t look at Daisy. How could she let you out of her sight, to allow someone to do this to you? It made his stomach turn. Billy was next to his brother this time, in the living room, a hand resting on his shoulder, squeezing from time to time, and instead of standing Graham sat with his head in his hands, creating knots in his hair as he ran his fingers through it. Cam and Karen had you in the bathroom, after seeing the panic in Graham’s eyes they decided to take over that part, knowing it wouldn’t be easy for him to see. Warren stayed up, and Eddie didn’t retreat to his room, Daisy paced back and forth outside of the bathroom, biting her nails. Graham could hear it, it was driving him nuts.
“Would it kill you to be quiet for two seconds, Daisy?!” He groaned, running a hand over his red splotchy face.
Everyone knew that Graham was just upset and taking it out on Daisy, the red corvette, which wasn’t exactly fair, but they also knew better than to argue with Graham at that point.
“You know what, Graham?!” Daisy stomped into the living room, planting herself in front of the Dunne brothers with her arms crossed.
Graham didn’t look up.
“Hey, I’m talkin’ to you!” Daisy used her thumb and pointer finger to grip his chin and pull his face up to look at her and she immediately felt guilty at his tear stained cheeks and glassy eyes.
She sighed, and crouched before him.
“I know it’s hard, and I’m so, so sorry this is happening to her. But she makes her own decisions, Graham. No one could’ve stopped her.”
Graham nodded, but still wouldn’t look in her direction. “Will you go check on her, please?”
Daisy would later tell the story with a frown on her face, and she’d recall never being that scared for another person before, despite the smile she put on for Graham.
“I didn’t-” She took a breath, “I’d never seen it that bad before, at least not while I was sober. I thought she was going to die.”
Daisy retreated to yours and Graham’s shared room shortly after discovering she couldn’t stomach staying in that bathroom, deciding to make herself useful by getting the bed ready, fluffing the pillows and retrieving some fresh clothes for you to wear to bed, making sure she grabbed ones that smelled like your boyfriend. She dropped the clothes off in the bathroom, and passed along the message to Graham from Karen and Camilla that it was time to take you to bed.
This had been Billy’s job, since before The Six was even The Six, that’s how it went. But things had changed, Graham had grown, and it was his turn.
part two coming soon!

Girl, Put Your Records On | Eddie Roundtree x Reader
A/N: I haven't seen any fics with him, so I had to make one. I love his character so much.
Blurb: Being the daughter of a music producer has its perks, and one of those is meeting Daisy Jones and The Six's Eddie Roundtree.
Warnings: Just fluff and a hit of angst, implied intercourse (no detail)
Daisy Jones and The Six Masterlist
Tumblr media
Being the daughter of a music producer had it's perks. For starters, you were able to listen to new albums and singles before anyone else. While the rest of the world waited for upcoming releases, you were already taking the record out of its sleeve and putting it on the phonograph.
Not to mention all the artists and bands you were able to meet. Your father was constantly popping open a bottle of champagne to celebrate his clients to celebrate their upcoming albums and tours.
Although you were too young to drink yourself, it was nice to feel included. Being there with your father, surrounded by new and interesting people with dozens of stories to share.
But being the daughter of a music producer has its downsides, too. On the smaller scale, sometimes your favorite songs wouldn't make the cut. When you were younger, it hit harder. But as you got older, you just accepted it and moved on.
That wasn't the only down that the role came with, however. You were a young, beautiful, kind girl with a heart of gold and a lot of love to give. Not many men in the industry had any problem taking advantage of that.
There was a thrill to it, for them. Sneaking around with their producer's daughter with the possibility of getting caught at any moment. You were sixteen when you had your first love. He told you all the right things, did all the right things. But the night before he left, he tried to convince you to "live in the moment" while leading you to his van.
It didn't take long for you to realize what was happening, so you freed yourself from his grasp, shoving him back and walking back inside your home.
He was too old for you, anyway. He was twenty, and you were still a kid. It wasn't right, but it was the seventies and he was gaining popularity. It didn't matter what he did, he had every girl in America wrapped around his finger. You, however, had made the choice not to be one of them.
A few years later, when you were nineteen, an up and coming group walked inside your father's studio. He was hesitant about letting them record, but he trusted Teddy and gave them a shot, alllowing you to sit inside the sound booth to hear them play.
You could see the nervousness written all over their faces as they got ready to play. They wanted to impress Teddy, and you didn't blame them. He wasn't easy to read.
Reclining in your seat beside Marcus, who gradually increased the volume on the lead vocalist and lowered the sound of the guitars, you smiled as you listened to them play.
By the end of their demo, you were on the edge of your seat waiting to find out whether or not they'd get an offer.
While Teddy went to discuss it with your father, you stepped out of the sound booth and made your way towards the group.
Smiling, you held out a hand to the only woman, who was closest to you when you walked in, introducing yourself, "Hey, I'm Y/N."
Karen gave you a gentle smile, shaking your hand, "Nice to meet you, I'm Karen."
The drummer, who was fiddling with his drum sticks, hollered over her, "That's Karen Karen."
Raising a brow, you couldn't help but release a small laugh, "Karen Karen?"
The blonde shot him a look, "Fuck off, Warren."
Warren grinned, nodding his head as a way of greeting you.
Beside him, the lead vocalist looked over at you, "Is there something you need, Samantha?"
"It's Y/N," You corrected, "And I just wanted to say I like your sound. It's different. I think you guys have a good chance of getting a deal."
One of the guitarists, the one with curly hair who had been ogling Karen for the past half hour, smiled up at you from his seat on the amp, "Thank you, Y/N. Our main focus is creating music that people l-"
"For the love of God, Graham, shut up," The vocalist grumbled, turning back towards you, "Look, it's nice to meet you, but we're a bit busy here."
Graham held his hands up in surrender, returning to fiddling with his guitar, mouthing "sorry" to you.
The fifth member of the group, who had been nervously tapping his foot flashed his bandmate an irritated look, "C'mon, Billy, she's just being nice. At least people actually like our music."
"Eddie, all I'm saying is that we need to spend less time socializing and more time figuring out what we do if we don't get this deal."
On that note, you cleared your throat, "You'll get the deal."
Simultaneously, Eddie and Billy spoke over one another, the former asking if you really thought so and the latter asking how in the hell you knew.
"I know Mr. L/N well, and so does Teddy. Look, the last few bands Teddy has invested in haven't been doing too great. But I really think you guys have a chance. I know you guys do."
Eddie gave you a lopsided smile, "They liked us in Pittsburgh, I don't see how this is any different."
Billy glared back at him, "If you'll excuse us, I think we have a few things to discuss."
Nodding, you turned to exit, giving the band one last smile. But before you could step out the door, Teddy came back in with your father in tow.
Teddy looked at the band, "We're giving you a shot, don't blow it."
The band, who Teddy had earlier referred to as The Six, erupted in smiles, hugging each other and patting one another on the back.
Your dad wrapped an arm around you, addressing the band, "I see you've met my daughter?"
Billy's eyes widened a bit. He thought you were just some random kid. But you had been in the sound booth, he should've known better.
Warren, who was very obviously high, nodded, "Yeah, she's hot."
Wincing, Karen glared at him, "She's been very kind, Mr. L/N."
Your dad eyed Warren, kissing you on the head before congratulating the band one last time, kissing you on the forehead, and walking back to his office.
Once he was out of sight, Eddie took one of Warren's drumsticks out of his hands and smacked him on the head with it, muttering, "Dumbass, that was her dad."
The drummer's mouth formed an "O", "You think he knows?"
"Jesus Christ, Warren," Karen said, shaking her head before turning to Billy, "And you, you need to get the stick out of your ass."
A look of pride settled on Eddie's face. You could tell the two of them didn't see eye to eye just from the small interactions you had with them.
Moving towards the exit, you waved them goodbye, "I'll see you guys around."
Warren and Graham waved happily, Karen and Billy nodded, and Eddie tilt his head to the side with a smile.
Once you were out of earshot, Karen looked back at Eddie, "Jealous, are you, Roundtree?"
"Piss off, Karen."
Warren looked between the two of them, connecting the dots, "Psst, Karen, I think he's jealous."
Rolling her eyes, she flashed him an irritated smile, "Yeah, I figured that out, thanks."
------------------------------------------------------------
Billy: As soon as we got the news and packed up, I ran to the nearest phone to tell Camila. She had always believed in us, and now everything was falling into place.
Karen: I think I went back and got drunk in my room afterwards. We may have gone out to eat, I don't remember. We had been living gig to gig, I was just happy to have an income.
Camila: It was the first time in a while that Billy really seemed happy with how the band was going. He had always believed in it, but I really think it helped him to see that everything was coming into place. That we wouldn't be living in a shack forever.
Warren: I don't even remember being in the studio. I was in my twenties, I was doing anything I could get my hands on. Drugs, alcohol, women. I was just along for the ride.
Karen: I could still kill Warren for telling the producer's daughter, Y/N, that she was hot in front of her dad.
Warren: We all thought it. Especially Eddie. I was just the one who said it.
Eddie: There was something about Y/N that was different. She wasn't just a newfound fan, she believed in us from the start. She and Camila were the first people to have our record in their hands. As for Warren's comment to her dad... She was beautiful, still is, I just think he could've handled it better. A lot better. By not saying anything.
Graham: It was nice to know that someone outside of the band and Teddy believed in us. Moving out to LA meant that we were starting over. In Pittsburgh, nearly the whole city had heard of us. At least, the people our age.
Eddie: That day was a turning point for the band.
Camila: There was no going back after that. They started recording and within a month, they were on their first tour.
------------------------------------------------------------
You came to every recording session The Six had, excitedly listening to their songs and giving input. You studied the way Marcus moved the volume and reverb, making a mental note of it. What he did had always fascinated you, and he was willing to teach you. It was one of the perks of being F/N L/N's daughter. People bent over bsckwards to make you happy.
Over the course of their time recording, you went out for drinks a few times with them.
You met Camila, who you adored, and quickly became friends with. You wouldn't have changed any of it for the world.
Well, except one thing.
From the moment you met Eddie Roundtree, your heart hadn't stopped fluttering, skipping a beat every time he walked into the room.
Warren constantly teased the two of you about it, suggesting different ways to release the tension between the two of you.
Karen kicked him under the table, giving him a look that sent fear down his spine.
It made the moment awkward for a minute, but the band could sense it was bound to happen.
Eddie was used to being pushed around by Billy, who was by far the most popular and well-known member of The Six. But for once, he was first place. With you.
The two of you often nursed a glass of champagne, talking to one another at the bar while Graham attempted to flirt with Karen, who wound up finding another guy to hook up with, and Warren fell into a crowd of women.
He took a sip, looking down at you, "What's it like, getting to hear new music before anyone else? Not just ours, but in general."
"It's incredible. Don't get me wrong, being in the studio so much has its ups and downs, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. There's nothing else I can imagine myself doing. That's why I want to work in the sound booth."
"You do?"
"Yeah, Marcus offered to teach me a while back. I just wanted to wait until you guys went on tour. I just want to focus on The Six, just taking it all in."
Eddie bit his bottom lip, "So... You and Marcus...?"
You shook your head, "Are friends. My mother is friends with his. We grew up together, he's just a few years older. He's protective, like how I imagine an older brother would be."
He nodded, "So, are you seeing anyone?"
"No," You let out a shaky breath, not meeting his eyes, "Are you?"
"No, are—I already asked you that," He said nervously, swirling his glass in his hand, "Do you... Have an interest in... You know, seeing anyone?"
"It depends on who it is," You said, heat rising to your cheeks, "And you? Anyone on your mind?"
He set down his glass, looking at you, "There is."
Meeting his eyes, you turned your back to the counter, leaning on it for support, "What's she like?"
"You have a mirror?"
You burst out laughing, "Is that your best line, Eddie? C'mon, you can do better than that."
He put his head in his hands, embarrassed.
Pressing a hand to his back, you used your other to pry his head away from his hands, "Don't worry, you can make it up to me."
Raising a brow, he tilted his head, "And how can I do that?"
"Pick me up on Friday at six."
"That's the day before tour starts."
"I know."
He nodded, "Wear something nice."
"Don't I always," You tease, stumbling into his chest.
He lifted the glass from your hands, "You know what I mean. I do, however, think you've had enough of this. C'mon, I'll drive you home"
------------------------------------------------------------
Warren: I was so happy to see Eddie leaving with Y/N. He was growing up, leaving the nest. It was about time he got laid.
Eddie: I drove her home. She had driven herself, but I was worried with her having three glasses. Truthfully, I just wanted to see her get home safe. And she did. I dropped her off at her door, walked her up, and waited until she got inside before I left. Once I got back in the car, it hit me—I had a date with Y/N.
Karen: I think he was more excited about the date than the record deal.
Eddie: It had just been a big few months. Moving to LA, getting a deal, meeting Y/N. Things were finally going my way.
------------------------------------------------------------
Eddie: Long distance relationships weren't easy by any means. I was the one who had to call, since we were constantly moving around. It strained us a bit, but she was able to go to a few of our concerts and I got to see her, take her out a few times.
Karen: Y/N visited us while we were in the northeastern part of the states. She stayed with us for a week and a half. And I never got any damn sleep while she was with Eddie. They could've been quieter, but I guess it was young love.
Eddie: She had her own hotel room during her time staying with us. Her dad set it up. We'd just stay in mine talking to one another.
Warren: Eddie swore nothing happened in his hotel room when he was alone with her, but I was on the other side of the wall. Look, I was pretty high, but it'd be hard to forget that. I may have been the one to call her hot, but he was the one that took it three, four steps further. Good for him, though.
Eddie: It was only when we got back from the tour that things started to go downhill with me and Y/N.
Camila: After I gave birth to Julia, Billy checked into Rehab. I was on my own for a while. But when the band came back, they were there to help me. Julia enjoyed time with Uncle Graham and Eddie, and Y/N whenever she was off work.
Graham: Eddie and I were there a few times a week just helping out and checking in on Camila and Julia. I loved that kid more than anything. We'd just sit out in the grass and I'd sing to her.
Eddie: Camila needed all the help she could get, especially with Billy not being there. Not that he would've done much anyway, to be honest. I tried to be there for her and Julia in any way I could. I didn't realize that it would tear Y/N and I apart.
------------------------------------------------------------
"Eddie, I barely ever get to see you. Can't you go one day without seeing Camila and Julia? You can stay with me. It's better than that shack."
"That shack is my home, whether it's shit or not, Y/N," He grumbled, "Camila needs all the help she can get with Julia. She's only a few months old."
"Her mother is with her, Eddie. She's got her mom, Graham, the whole band really. It's not that I don't want you to be with them, I just want to see you. I never get to see you."
Eddie sighed, "Y/N, they mean everything to me."
"They're your bandmates, I get it, I just—"
"Y/N..."
It was written all over his face. He wasn't just talking about The Six.
------------------------------------------------------------
Karen: We'd all known, except for maybe Billy and Camila, that Eddie was in love with Camila. We just thought that he had put those feelings aside when he met Y/N.
Warren: Out of all the girls Eddie had dated, which hadn't been much, she was my favorite. She was fun, she kept up with us, she was passionate about music and the band. When they broke up, I nearly snapped the guys neck. And I'm not a violent guy. She just deserved better than whatever the hell that was.
Eddie: Camila and Billy were married. I would never have come in the way of that. At the same time, it wasn't fair to Y/N. I loved her with my whole being, but I still had some unresolved feelings for Camila that started stiring when Billy was gone. It's wrong, and I know that, but it wasn't fair.
Graham: Eddie was an idiot for what happened. I remember when he came back from their first date. He swore up and down that they'd get married one day.
------------------------------------------------------------
When the band broke up, everyone went their separate ways. Karen continued touring, this time without Daisy and The Six. Warren got married and started working on boats, which became a passion for him. Billy stepped away from music and settled into life with Camila and his daughters and Graham continued working in the music industry, starting his own family. Daisy recovered from her addictions, and wound up adopting kids of her own.
These all took years to play out. But not for Eddie.
As soon as the band was over with, the first thing he did was buy a ticket to LA and knock on Y/N's door.
He explained everything and told her he loved her, he always had.
------------------------------------------------------------
Y/N Roundtree: Eddie proposed to me the night he showed up on my doorstep. He told me he couldn't imagine a life without me. I was touched.
Eddie: But she said no.
Y/N: I loved him, but I told him it would take time. We still had so much we didn't know about each other. It had been ages since I had seen him. I didn't even know that the Six had split up until he told me. He was back in LA that fast after the split.
Eddie: We did get to know each other, though. And I proposed almost a year later. We got married a few months after that. And the rest is history.
Y/N: It was a quiet ceremony. Eddie didn't want Billy there, and thought it may be a bit off putting for me to have Camila there. But I knew how much he cared about her and the girls, so we extended an invite.
Camila: Billy and Eddie never really saw eye to eye, and with Billy finally getting comfortable with family life, I didn't think it would be good to thrust him back into that.
Eddie: Y/N was a little upset they chose not to come, but understood. If you invite half a family, it doesn't exactly work.
Billy: I was surprised Eddie found the balls to get married.
Y/N: It wound up just being Eddie's immediate family, mine, Marcus, Warren, and Graham. Daisy showed up a few days earlier to congratulate us on our wedding, bringing a guitar with her as a gift. She just didn't think being back in that environment would be good for her. There would be too many questions.
Daisy: Just because the band was over doesn't mean the music couldn't continue. Eddie was a good guitarist and Y/N knew everything about managing sound and rhythms, so I figured it was an appropriate gift. I was really happy for them.
Eddie: Karen was touring at the time and wasn't able to make it, but she visited once the tour was over and stayed a few days.
Y/N: I preferred having a smaller wedding, with the people we knew the most.
Warren: They had great alcohol. I wasn't high during the reception, so I was actually able to enjoy it. I even met my wife there.
Graham: It made me long for a relationship, honestly. But it also made me realize I need to focus on myself first. I didn't want to just settle to settle.
Y/N: Our son was born a year and a half after we got married and music was automatically a big part of his life. He'd sit on Eddie's lap at not even a year old while Ed played the guitar. I still have pictures of them back then on the mantle.
Grant Roundtree, Eddie and Y/N's oldest son: I remember when I decided I wanted to pursue music. Dad sat me down and explained what happens when you achieve fame and how to handle it. Mom told me that I needed to take it one step at a time and really enjoy my childhood.
Farrah Roundtree, Eddie and Y/N's daughter: Grant never stopped playing that damn guitar mom gave him.
Grant: Sometimes I played just to drive Farrah and Eli crazy. I never stopped.
Eli Roundtree, Eddie and Y/N's youngest son: I wanted to be just like Grant when I was younger. He was my cooler, older brother. He even taught me how to play the guitar and I could carry a tune, but my stage fright got in the way of anything beyond that.
Eddie: Grant went into the music field, Farrah pursued modeling and is now acting, and Eli is just now graduating from high school, planning to attend college this fall.
Y/N: I'll always be grateful for Daisy Jones and The Six, but I've got to be honest—I'm even happier it ended when it did.
Eddie: Everything happens for a reason, and for me, it couldn't have ended at a better time.

You're the hottest girl alive
Warren Rojas x Fem!Reader
✧.* requested by anon — i know you were looking for warren requests!! this thought just popped into my head - how would warren react to his girl being able to play the drums? like he didn’t know that she knew how to play but he walked in on her playing his set. i didn’t really think of any other details though like her backstory or anything :/
✧.* summary — Warren was mesmerized by you since the first time he saw you, and even with a lot of time together you always surprised him. And he fucking loved your surprises.
✧.* warnings — None.
✧.* word count — 1.7k
✧.* 🥁 — Warren's masterlist
✧.* mandy's notes — This was actually one of my favorites to write, I really loved writing his reaction. Warren is simply the Golden Retriever boyfriend.
Tumblr media
The first time Rojas walked into the label and his eyes landed on you behind the soundboard, his heart skipped a beat. The way your hair was tied up showing off her neck, he admired your skin from afar thinking he had never seen anything so beautiful, your eyes were focused on the equipment in front of you and he just loved the way you bit your lips while you were focused. He was amazed, and since that day he was sure that he needed to get to know you.
So little by little he approached you, staying a few days later at the record company helping you with what you let him do, showing you some new beats he had invented, commenting on the band and asking your opinion on various things, you didn't understand why he wanted your opinion on things so much but his presence always did you a lot of good.
"Can you play that one again?" Warren asks, pressing any button on the soundboard.
"Hey Rojas, don't do that!" You laugh, smacking his hand lightly to get his hand away. "Don't touch my baby without my permission."
"Your baby?" Warren laughs. "Alright, sorry baby…" He pretends to talk to the device in front of him, you laugh, he makes you feel so good.
"Exactly, the baby doesn't like strangers." You say playing along.
"Well, to make you less worried baby…" He keeps with the joke, talking with the soundboard. "I'm not a stranger anymore, I'm your mama's boyfriend."
You take your gaze to the drummer, your eyebrows raised and a small smile on your face. Warren was looking right into your eyes, that smirk you knew very well in that angelic face of his, you lick your lips trying to decipher if what you understood was really what he meant.
"If she wants that, of course." He says more like a whisper, you get closer to him placing your both hands on his bare chest.
He looks down at your hands, feeling butterflies in his stomach at the contact, you get up from the chair leaving him with a confused look, eyes still on you. You go towards the studio door and close it, he arches hin eyebrows trying to understand what you were going to do, he loved that even if he tried hard it was very difficult to decipher you.
You smile, noticing that it was now you who had made him nervous in a certain way, you sit on his lap and notice his uneven breathing.
"Come on Rojas, take care of your girlfriend." You whisper and he wastes no time kissing you intensely.
Things between you two were wonderful, you understood each other like no one else and each other's presence was always the main point for your daily smile. Warren loved every detail of you, and he loved the fact that you always surprised him in a different way every day, he never knew what to expect from you but he knew that every surprise from you was one more reason for him to want to put a ring on your finger.
Warren had you in his arms, you caressed his shirtless torso drawing a few hearts as he stroked your hair, it was probably around 2am but the drummer wasn't able to sleep at all, although you were struggling to keep your eyes open you did your best to keep him company.
"Rojas, I have an idea." You say through a yawn. "Come here, lie on my lap."
You say sitting on the bed, he looks at you with a big smile on his face, without asking too many questions he lies down keeping his eyes on yours.
"I want you to relax, okay?" He nods, closing his eyes.
Nothing in the world could have prepared him for what was to come, as he closed his eyes his ears began to witness something that leaves him in awe, you were singing and not any song you were singing Honeycomb.
He was sure he never heard anything better than that, even Daisy couldn't sing like you to him, he sits on the bed and you stop singing confused.
"I told you to relax Rojas." You say chuckling, he looked shocked and you didn't get why. "What's wrong baby?"
"You sing!" He exclaims, his passionate gaze on you. "Why did you never tell me this mi amor? You have the most beautiful voice I've ever heard."
"Don't exaggerate handsome, I sing like anyone else." You felt very happy to have someone like him by your side.
"You have the voice of a little angel!" He kisses you tenderly. "I'm so fucking in love with you."
You smile looking at your hands next to his, taking his hands and taking them to your waist. Lacing your arms around his neck then, you get close to him placing kisses on his neck.
"I'm in love with you too." You say between kisses, making your way to his mouth and kissing him there. "If you can't relax by yourself, let me relax you."
"With pleasure." He says, sighing at the contact with you.
That's what Warren meant by nice surprises, you always surprised him with details about yourself that he wanted to show the world, to introduce everyone to how you were the most wonderful person on earth. He was very proud of you, a woman who didn't care about what anyone thought of her, but was always there if anyone needed help, you were one of a kind and he felt so lucky to be with you, to be the one who you called boyfriend.
Today was the day of recording the instruments for 'The River', so Eddie, Graham, Karen and Warren were spending the afternoon with you and Tobias taking care of making everything right. You were sitting at the soundboard, Warren beside you with his arm around your neck and a cigarette in his lips, Tobias had left to get some more microphones, Eddie and Graham had left to buy some snacks and now was Karen's turn to play.
"She sounds so fucking great!" You say fiddling with some things on the soundboard. "Get ready handsome, you're up next."
"Yes mama." He says putting out the cigarette on his tongue and then throwing it in the trash can next to you.
Karen finishes playing and takes off her headphones, giving you thumbs up in question, you raise yours confirming to her that she nailed it. She smiles and goes to you leaving the room for Warren to play.
"And Graham?" The blonde asks you, pretending not to care too much.
"He must be outside with Eddie." You say with a smirk on your face, she leaves but not before patting you on the shoulder.
Now it was just Warren and you in the room, he had his headphones on his head and his drumsticks twirling between his fingers ready to go. He winks at you and you nod for him to start.
As always he was the best drummer you've ever seen, but there was something that maybe you could improve there, you had an idea of something but while your boyfriend was playing you architected your ideas better.
You get up from the table entering the studio, Warren frowns and stops playing, removing the headphones afterwards.
"Is there something wrong, pretty girl?" He says, watching you get closer.
"Would you mind going there for a bit?" You ask, he shrugs without questioning too much sitting in the chair and waiting for what you were going to do.
You sit in the drum chair and he starts to get more confused, you take the drumsticks and he arches his eyebrows.
"I was thinking maybe this might work at the beginning of the song." You say and count down to start the playing.
And there you were, majestically playing the drums, Warren was speechless he felt like he was witnessing the most wonderful scene.
"Did you know she played?" Eddie asks, biting into a sandwich as he watches you. "Warren?"
"Shii! Be quiet, let me hear her." He says to the bassist and he immediately goes quiet, laughing at Warren's reaction.
When you're done, you leave the drums with sticks in hand, going back to your place behind the soundboard, but before you could say anything Warren kisses you passionately, at first you are surprised but then you kiss him the same way.
Your hands caress the drummer's curls and he grabs your waist as he wants you closer and closer to him, Eddie fakes a cough but Warren completely ignores him so he decides to go and leave you two alone.
When you break the kiss in search of air, you look at him in question, waiting for an explanation.
"So?" You say with your hands on your hips. "Why's that?"
"Are you serious right now?" Warren cups your face in his hands. "You're the hottest girl alive, fucking hell!"
You roll your eyes and shake your head, he pulls you closer to him.
"I mean it, is there something you can't do?" He looked at you with enormous admiration, he loved you so much.
"You overestimate me way too much, you know?" You smile at him.
"I'll make sure you know how perfect you are." he whispers, kissing her neck. Your hands go to his hair stroking the curls.
"Oh yeah? And how do you plan on doing that?" You question, still feeling the man's kisses on your skin.
"We're going home!" Warren wanted to get you closer, and he sure as hell couldn't do that in the record company's studio room.
"We have to finish this." You laugh, looking in his eyes.
"Fuck this, you've played amazing we can keep your version." He looked at you with tenderness in his eyes.
"I'm not keeping my version handsome." You say, playing with his hair. "That's your band, and besides my place is right here." You say pointing to the studio booth.
"In fact, your place is in my bed." He says making you laugh.
"Can't you think about another thing?" You say when you finally take your breath. "We have to work."
"Hermosa, are you serious?" He looked indignant, and you waited for him to finish his thought. "I just saw my girl, the woman of my life playing my drums… that's literally the sexiest thing you've done!"
He grabs you by the waist and spreads kisses on your face, and you couldn't resist that boy anyway so you went home with him.
Y/N L/N: Yes, we lost a day of recording but... It was worth it.
Warren Rojas: *laughing* For sure it was worth it.
...

hey I was wondering if you could write something where warren and reader say ‘I love you’ for the first time? <3 the warren brainrot is real 😔😔
I Do Love You Warren Rojas x Reader
summary: walking to a diner with your favorite drummer and some very lovely words are exchanged. fluff
notes: omgomg thank you so much for requesting!!!!! i haven’t written anything in so long, and i’ve really been wanting to write for warren!!! i hope you guys like it!! <3 also it’s pretty short and sweet so sorry that it’s not longer…
Tumblr media
being a female bassist was hard. especially when you were dating the drummer in the band you were in. interviewers always made snarky comments about your guys relationship, and groupies always ignored warrens hand that was always around your hip at parties.
that’s why you and warren decided to take it slow. you didn’t want journalists marketing off your guys relationship. or paparazzi sneaking pictures of you guys making out on the side of the tour bus. (which may or may not have happened…)
Warren: Man she was horrified when those pictures came out…. i thought it was pretty funny.
Y/N: He said that? of course he did….
the band was in the process of recording Aurora. you and warren often spent long days at the studio, and on weekends when you weren’t partying with the rest of the band, he would take you on romantic dates.
Eddie: Those two were inseparable. you would never see one without the other. many people didn’t take relationships that seriously during the 70s… but man, those two were really in love. i’ve never seen warren be so in love with a girl before.
during gigs, warren would stare at you nearly the whole show. he wouldn’t miss a beat either. he loved watching you feel the music.
one day the recording session ran later than usual. it was almost 1 am. since you guys didn’t eat dinner warren had the great idea of grabbing a bite at the 24 hour diner around the block. the entire band agreed and started walking.
as you guys walked out of the studio, warren noticed you shiver as the cold night wind breezed through your hair. he immediately took off his denim jacket and put it around your shoulders.
“thank you.” you mumbled as you slipped your arms through the sleeves. you instantly felt relieved as the denim blocked the wind.
“no problem pretty girl.” he gave you a smirk that made your cheeks redden. “you know, you did really good today, the riff you wrote for kill you to try is amazing babe.” although billy is extremely stubborn, he gave you almost all creative freedom on your part. he knew what you were capable of and he trusted you enough to sound great.
warren always knew how to compliment you. and although you guys have been dating for a couple of months, he still gave you butterflies in your stomach.
“thank you, i like how billy let you start off the song all by yourself.” warren grabbed you around the waist and gave you a dramatic kiss on the cheek as a way of saying thank you.
Eddie: Like i said. inseparable.
Karen: Those two were the cutest couple ever. You can tell what they had was real.
The band walked fast in front of you, while you and warren lingered a couple feet behind them. you felt warren’s gaze linger on you in your peripheral vision.
Warren: Man, back then she had these jeans that she looked gorgeous in! she also had these chunky gold hoops in. i’m pretty sure she was wearing both of those that night. plus she always looked hot as hell in my clothes! if you were there you wouldn’t be able to stop staring either!
your boyfriend’s staring made you anxious, even though you know that he would never think bad of you.
“why are you staring at me?” you asked him with a smirk. if it were sunny out, warren would be able to see your red stained cheeks.
“what, am i not allowed to stare at my pretty girlfriend?!” warren replied.
“you’re so cheesy.” you giggled, which was music to warrens ears. he loved hearing you laugh.
“ohh you know you love me.” warren joked.
“i do love you.” the words slipped out of your mouth before you even comprehended them.
now it was warrens turn to blush. he wasn’t expecting your words. he looked at you stunned, and hesitated a bit. his hesitation worried you and you were about to take it back before he spoke.
“i love you more.” warren looked at you very seriously, taking in every single one of your facial features. he looked at you like you were the only girl in the world. you smiled.
you guys kept walking as a comfortable silence fell over you. warrens arm rested comfortably around your shoulders as you rested your head by his neck.
Karen: Those two were extra flirty and quiet that night at the diner. i figured something was up, but i didn’t think too much about it.
Y/N: That night was the first of many where i told him that i loved him.

. ˚◞♡  →  pretty lady, w. rojas
one shot trial one !
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
warren rojas | 4.5k
just a fluffy warren one shot <3 awkward confession time, sweet kisses :-)
*not edited, forgive me for bad writing 🫶
warnings: the reader's nicknames that are given are predominantly female – girl, lady, woman + no use of reader having particular features – skin colour, hair type, body type, etc | mainly sfw – though much kissing at the end !, use of nicknames (darling, hun, pretty girl/lady, sweets, etc), mature language
Tumblr media
“boo, no,” came the quiet exasperated sigh through your lips. you shook your head with a frown, and stared down at the crazed page before you; scribbles of chords, lines and a long series of notes that seemed to only get progressively more snappy. the sight only made the simmering agitation in your chest closer to its near-boiling point. you bit your lip, and squinted your eyes at the page. maybe if you stared incredulously at it long enough, it would burn to ash.
this shit was truly too tiring.
another sigh, it felt like that was all you were doing, huffing endless long breaths. you loved music, really, cherished it too close to your heart. and it was all trial and error, you knew this. but fuck, it was tiring. the disappointment and anger that forms when you aren't satisfied with your creations are enough to doubt everything. and no one likes that feeling. the feeling of losing that grasp and love for your art.
no one liked feeling the fear of not being good enough either. the fact that you had to hand this to other people to gaze upon and approve of only heightened that same, exact fear. (your fear was valid, of course. but honestly, the band was only ever supportive and constructive towards everyone’s input and pieces. so yes, your fear was valid, but truthfully, unnecessary.)
maybe it's all a bit dramatic right now, but it's true!
you pushed your hair behind your ears, and with your eyes still on the page, you readjusted yourself so you were now lying on your stomach. you huffed as you settled with the paper in your grasp, and with one more quick scan of the notes, you felt the displeasure plaguing you only grow. you picked it up with narrowed eyes, and roughly crumpled it, tossing it across the room. see how exhausting this is?
today was a bad day, a grumpy day. you never liked those. you rather liked the days when you found enjoyment through your craft, the days when you could just fucking blaze through writing without a single insecurity or doubt towards it.
normally, you would write with the others. maybe as a whole group, maybe a one-on-one with graham or karen. maybe warren. shit, you didn't care. ʲᵘˢᵗ ⁿᵒᵗ ᶠᵘᶜᵏᶦⁿᵍ ᵇᶦˡˡʸ. but it was late at night, and everyone was asleep, just before you were about to do just that, you instead, felt that randomly adrenaline-rushing motivation to just write. you can imagine how it felt when you proceeded to do that exact thing and hated every single thing that you came up with. the anger you were feeling so largely now stemmed from the sheer dissatisfaction towards the sound of the string of chords you came up with.
you were pretty sure you were beginning to see red. maybe you were possessed because you were starting to feel the urge to smash your pretty red guitar against the ground many, many times. and you cherished that thing like it was your baby.
you rested your head in your arms with a small frown, and huffed. you decided that, yes, going to bed would be best. maybe tomorrow would be better. you stared at the door and pursed your lips. the good lawyer and bad lawyer in your head were currently having a nasty debate. go to bed and come back tomorrow with a fresh start or stay, and continue to get progressively angrier. the bad lawyer was sorely losing.
the disappointment towards your work tonight was beginning to make you feel rather sad, instead of angry. and with that, you rapidly decided that it was, indeed, time to go to bed.
you braced yourself before pushing yourself up, and sitting in a kneeling position. it was uncomfortable, the hard floor wasn't all that kind to your legs, it actually rather hurt. you took a moment to brush your jean-covered legs before actually standing. you pushed your hair over your shoulders and glanced over at your instrument. your earlier aggressive, heavily violent thoughts towards your instrument made you feel just a tad guilty. you paced over to it, and picked it up from its stand with gentle hands. you stepped over to the open case on the floor, the soft red velvet warmly inviting the guitar.
as you packed up, you began to zone out and get lost in thought. whilst closing the case and reaching to clasp each buckle closed, a soft, nearly impossible-to-hear knock interrupted your actions.
your hands stilled, and you looked over to the door with your eyebrows furrowed in confusion. you were thoroughly convinced everyone was asleep. looking back on it, you should have known otherwise. nearly everyone went to bed before you, even those who went to sleep at a relatively late time. you were always a night person—but you weren't the only one.
the door opened, and you tilted your head a bit to get a glance at the unexpected guest. when the sight of a cheeky, sheepish smile and brown curls came into your vision, you had to let out a soft laugh. he only smiled wider at the sound and looked down to hide it. “hi warren,” you sang, looking away from his shy form to get back to your earlier activity of packing up your things.
warren rojas. you two weren't best friends, he wasn't your karen karen and you weren't his peaches, but he was something. you didn't know what, but you knew you did really, really like warren. you always thought he was cool as fuck. chill as fuck too. he was the easiest person to talk to, you could sit with him for hours and just talk about the weirdest things that have no relevance whatsoever. not to mention, leave it to him to know how to have a good time. he was fun, brought it everywhere he went, and simultaneously mastered the art of being a sweetheart.
“hi,” he said, grinning as he eyed your form, still clad in your day clothes, a patterned halter top and your signature blue bellbottoms. “what are you up to this late at night, hm?” the curly-haired man walked in, shutting the door behind him and curiously looked at the various crumpled balls scattered across the room.
you let out a small ‘shit’, his short look at your mess acted as a reminder that you probably should tidy it up. placing the guitar case back on the ground, you paced over to each of the white papers, gathering them in your arms. “well,” you huffed, “i was going to write, but it didn't really go the way i wanted it to…”
softly smiling at your mumbled words, he walked over and quickly picked up the rest (the majority) of the papers. “what about you, cheeky boy?” you asked in return, dumping the crumpled balls into the trash. behind you, he grinned at the nickname. always smiling when around you, he was. you looked up at him as he came to stand next to you, following your earlier actions. he brushed his hands and turned back to you with a hum, “couldn't sleep, ‘nd heard you playing,” he tilted his head at you rubbing your eyes.
a sheepish ‘oh’, passed your lips, “sorry if i woke you, war’, thought i was being quiet,”
he shook his head at your murmur, and waved a hand with a small smile, “you can’t wake someone who wasn’t sleeping in the first place darlin’, don’t worry about it,” he wasn’t lying either, really. it wasn’t uncommon for warren rojas to pull all-nighters, and proceed to sleep most of the day. he’d usually pass out after hot-boxing his room.
nodding, you bounded over back to your case and picked it up again. “okay, well, i’m gonna go to bed now, thanks for helping me tidy up,” you grinned softly at him, “i’ll see you tomorrow, war’,”
“see you tomorrow, sweets,” came his gentle reply, still standing there like a moron just watching you. he considered stopping, not wanting to seem like a creep, but ultimately those considerations were put to rest within two seconds. maybe he could play it off well enough. you had to have known he had a crush on you, and he knew it. he’s such a sweetie, bless him, but not subtle whatsoever.
you gave him one last pretty smile before walking to the door, and just as you were about to open it, your hand ready on the handle, you stopped. you pursed your lips as a thought passed your brain, and raised your eyebrows with a hum. “d’you wanna smoke some cush?”
a beat of silence.
“fuck yeah, man.”
                                                          ୨♡୧
“y’know, i love your hair,”
you gently whispered, twirling a curly brown strand between your fingers, and surveyed his face. his eyes were closed, and his body was so relaxed you would have thought he was sleeping. maybe he was, you didn't know any better. warren had his head in your lap, the rest of his body slung across your bed. you had been playing with his hair for the past 15 minutes. once you started, he’d gone completely silent and shut his brown eyes. maybe he really was sleeping.
he absentmindedly hummed in return, and you smiled at the sound. with one hand in his hair, you picked up the joint from the ashtray set on your bedside table, and took a puff. “it may possibly be even better than mine, i must say,” you declared, placing the joint in warren’s expectant hand.
at your words, he scoffed dramatically, shaking his head. he took his own puff, before battling your words with his own. “no way dude, are you fucking kidding me?” he exhaled with a scrunched face, making sure to turn away from you as the smoke trailed out of his mouth. “i got a mop on my head, you got some farrah fawcett shit going for ya,”
that whole sentence nearly shook you to the bone in your state. mop on his head? then saying you could compete with farrah fawcett? you couldn't believe it.“you’re putting me up against farrah fawcett?” you widened your eyes at him, brows furrowed in sheer disbelief, “the farrah fawcett?” he nodded dramatically at your shocked words, “shit, man,” you raised your eyebrows with a hum, bobbing your head. “damn,”
“i’m fully serious,”
“yeah, i know you are. i just don’t know if i can trust your opinion, angel. i mean it’s farrah fawcett,”
he passed the joint back to you with a floppy arm, and you reached over to place it back in its respectful seat in your ashtray. “you better believe it, hun,” he murmured, closing his eyes once again as you played with his hair.
“you’re so pretty,” at his whispered words, your hands, where they were making a small braid in his mane, ceased their movement. the sweet compliment was unexpected, and truthfully, popped up out of nowhere. you pouted down at him, feeling your heart swell at his words. maybe he was sleeping and dreaming about farrah fawcett. “warren, your eyes are closed, y’know,” he reluctantly opened his baggy, bloodshot eyes, and looked at you.
“nuh-uh, not anymore they aren’t,” his brown eyes surveyed your face and he nodded to himself with finality. you cheekily smiled, nearly gushing, “warren rojas got a li’l crush on me?” you cooed, untangling your hands from his curls to pinch his cheeks.
he tiredly pushed your hands away with a hidden smile, you quietly laughed to yourself. you felt adoration fill your chest. really, that pestering anger inhabiting your heart before had melted away as soon as your cheeky boy had popped up on the other side of that door. he didn't even need to do anything, he didn't even need to know that you weren't having a good day, or time, or whatever. warren rojas just had to be himself to make you practically beam like the sun.
geez, he had a crush on you? you had a crush on him. a big one too.
you clicked your tongue as he turned his head away from you, and you rested one hand on his chest and the other on the top of his head. warren had a smile covering his face, but he was shying away. you couldn't believe it, not only were you compared to farrah fawcett, you made the warren rojas shy. what a night!
“stop it,” his voice was partially muffled into your lap, and you brought a hand up to your lips. the big smile on your face felt permanent. “you got a crush on me?” came your voice again, this time quieter, not as teasing—just as filled with adoration. he wiggled around, still groaning.
you lightly tapped his cheek, a silent ‘look at me,’ passing from you to him. a small smile was glued to your face as warren turned, brown eyes landing on your beaming face—to which he grinned. that stupid grin stayed on his face as you raised your eyebrows at him and kept eye contact, whilst he looked away and gazed at the ceiling instead. he wanted to keep eye contact with you, it was a continuous challenge between you two. he never lasted more than ten seconds—don't be cheeky! you let out a sigh, and looked away as well, trying to pull yourself together. you feared you were having a heart attack with how fast it was beating. the remnants of smoke clouding the air and your lungs only seemed to intensify your feelings—which were already so much. and you didn't know it, but he felt the same. maybe even more so.
“shit, can you blame me though, sweets?” he exclaimed, sitting up. you jumped as he nearly knocked heads with you. even he didn't expect this, earlier before his mouth betrayed him! god, you plagued his mind, and it just slipped out. really, you were like a stubborn piece of gum stuck to the side of his brain, it was frustrating. warren was a complete ladies' man, and knew his way around the female anatomy like he was a master in the art. he loved women, went crazy for them. but there was just something about you, that made him ache. you were so, so, so pretty, and carried such an abnormally beautiful soul with you everywhere you went. you were passionate in what you did, you were kind, and god damn, you were too fucking funny. you’re so much. too much. warren was a confident man, a charmer, never afraid to speak his mind. then there's you, making him feel like a little girl crushing on paul anka.
cheesy as fuck.
“i mean—you’re crazy, girl. literally a fucking fox, it's ridiculous,” warren mumbled to himself, more ranting than anything. he gaped for a few seconds, trying to gather the words on his tongue. you folded your lips into your mouth as you watched him begin his big confession. he glared at the flowery posters on your walls with wide eyes. “listen, i’ve met women, right? many, many women, men even! a lotta people!” you had to hide a laugh behind your hand at his words, “but you, ah–,” he snapped his fingers and shook his head at you.
“i am a confident man,” warren declared, pointing a hand at you.
“yes you are,”
after your small reply, he went quiet, still trying to figure out what it is he wants to say. he wasn't about to say he loved you, no matter how much he wanted to, he was sober enough to know that that was a bit too much. warren felt a lot towards you, you made him feel vulnerable, seen. you made him feel like a literal horde of butterflies were swarming his entire torso. you sometimes made him feel like he was dying, with the way you made his heart skip beats, or made it beat rapidly fast. how does one convey that feeling without sounding clinically insane? i mean, sure, he’d been able to charm his way with the ladies before, using cheesy pickup lines was his favourite thing. ever. they were his favourite. but (not to sound like a total dick) those ladies were different. and you were something. something really important. it didn't help that he was still high as fuck, so, he was relatively stumped on what to say—he did know that he wasn't up for humiliating himself in front of you tonight.
you bit your lip as you watched him struggle, you considered simply just saying ‘i know, i know, me too,’ to make this whole thing easier for him. but you wanted to give him the time to find it. the man showed no signs of giving up, and therefore you kept quiet. you played with the rings decorating your fingers as he stayed groaning and shaking his head at the ceiling every so often. clearly, he was having a crisis.
and just as you were about to say something, it came to him. slowly, oddly—not the way he wanted it to, but he couldn't exactly be picky, and he considered leaving this entire thing for later and instead writing you a letter, or maybe even a song! but, you didn't seem like the type of chick to dig that. and you were gazing at him expectantly, concernedly, he could feel it burning into the side of his face. he never wanted to leave a crowd waiting.
“okay,” he turned to you with wide brown eyes, suddenly feeling a burst of energy. the relaxing effect of mary jane said its farewells, and warren, ever unaware in his state of mind, wondered if he had done cocaine instead. “you, pretty lady, ” he huffed, “make me lose my mind, it’s unfair,”
you raise your eyebrows at that, and let out a small laugh, but quiet down with a small smile once realizing he wasn't done. “you—and, as i stated before, a fucking fox, i mean come on,” he shrugged before reaching over and grabbing the joint from the ashtray again, warren figured he needed his heart rate to go down, relax a bit. he took a puff, grey smoke flowing out of his mouth in a long exhale, before continuing; “i like you a lot, darlin’. so much too, it kinda hurts a bit,” he placed the joint, now a stub, in the ashy part of its respectful tray.
you nearly melted, the smile on your face became a mere slightly gaped mouth and you thought your eyes were hearts, big red ones like from tom and jerry. “just something about you,” he let out a loud ‘whew’, waving an arm and sending you an exasperated look to which you couldn’t help but laugh prettily. and to warren, that sound was his fuel through this. this awkward confession that had been weighing him down the whole time he’d first seen you play on that stage, this confession that he was convinced would make his chest burst eventually. you made it so easy for him, he didn’t care if he got rejected straight after or got laughed at, he still made you laugh. sleep, food, water, even fucking air was unnecessary, for the man believed he could live off of your joy and happiness forever.
“you got me wrapped around your pretty li’l finger,” warren murmured. he slumped and looked at you, starting to feel the insecurity kick in. so, he sighed and looked away, pulling a fresh joint from the small tin he kept in his pocket, and ignored your observing stare—despite the fact he desperately wanted to return the eye contact.
you watched as he placed the joint between his lips, and you quickly crawled and snatched the zippo lighter you two shared off the bedside table, making it out of his reach. he still didn't look at you, merely huffing with a small smile beginning to form on his face, and you had to grin at the sight. you folded your lips into your mouth, and your eyes flickered around his face. you crawled over to him next, kneeling in front of his relaxed cross-legged form leaning against the headboard.
letting out a huff at his stubbornness to look at you, you raised a single eyebrow. he only looked away further. it was an odd sight, a vulnerable one, to see the ever-confident warren rojas, show shyness and insecurity. he felt exposed, to let his charming, goofy facade fall.
you knelt forward and softly grabbed the side of his face, making him have no choice but look at you. to him, it felt like one of those scary fucking laboratory hypnosis sessions. like his mind just stopped, and was consumed by you, you, you. you were overwhelming, like he couldn't take a deep breath for a second. shit, he thought he might pass out when your hazed eyes flickered between his own, and soon landed on his lips for a split second.
and he thought he might’ve died and been sent to heaven when you gently lifted his face to bring the lighter up to his lips and lit the joint still set between them. it was silent, aside from the soft breaths coming from each of you, and the crisp sound of the paper on the joint burning whilst he took an absent-minded puff. you watched as the joint burned orange, and proceeded to flick the lighter closed, and set it on your pale, flowery sheets.
truthfully, you seemed relaxed, and understanding, like you just knew. but you were so happy, nearly bursting on the inside. you weren't quite sure how you were holding yourself together, you felt fully ready to fall apart. just because of him. warren rojas, sure to be the death of you.
you turned back to him, plucked the joint from his lips and brought it to your own. he watched with wide eyes as your soft lips wrapped around the white papers, and you took a hit. you weren’t looking at him anymore, rather simply looking down, and he was feeling a bit glad about it. not because your eyes were so intense and burned into him just naturally–but because he was sure to truly lose his shit if you did.
grey smoke trailed out of your mouth and you turned back to him with a small smile, tilting your head. at the sight, warren let out a sigh, and lightly hit the back of his head against the headboard. “you’re so cute,” you quietly said, delightedly, and he groaned again and shook his head, bringing his hands up to cover his own smile. “god, don’t—” he sighed, running a hand through his curls, “damn you, woman,”
you beamed, and shuffled to grab his hands away from his face. with them in your grasp, you folded your digits with his and his closed eyes opened. warren looked at you exasperatedly, huffing, “minx i tell you, a minx,” he mumbled to himself, feeling like a crazed man on a drug. you laughed, the sound ringing clear in his ears like the prettiest bell he ever heard. again, he could listen to it for ages, like it was a lifeline.
you gave him a knowing smile, released his hands, and readjusted yourself so you were even closer to him. you watched as he took a deep breath, processing the close proximity. your heart skipped multiple beats as you brought both hands up to cup the sides of his neck, he sighed as you rubbed your manicured thumbs along his jawline. this beautiful man, you thought. you were sure you could never get enough of his curls, big brown eyes, or his absolute hilarity. you were disgustingly attracted to him, all of him. his entire fucking being.
he was leaning forward towards you now as you hovered before him. to him, it felt like he was being drawn in, he looked back on his hypnosis thought. your eyes flickered all across the other’s face, and he moved so you were now instead sitting in between his legs. warren, cheekily with a grin, placed his hands on your waist and you huffed a soft laugh, resting your forehead against his for a moment. it wasn't lustful, it was the final buildup of all the unspoken attraction, love, and need between each other. it was sweet, sensual.
he nudged his nose against yours, and he was so, so close. you two moved fluidly and teasingly, closely hovering over each other and chasing the other's lips. it was like a dance, a silent, ‘you have me, now come get me,’.
oh, and the reward was legendary. you had your hopes and dreams, but this? it was difficult to describe just how much better it was in comparison. your lips finally slotted together like puzzle pieces, and this time, you really did melt. your shoulders slumped and with a broken exhale, you curved into him. he didn't care, only softly laughed into your mouth and wrapped his arms around your waist tighter, holding you together, whilst you curved your arms around his neck.
he was perfect, so much so, it ached. your feelings toward him before this were like a game of tag, and endless chase, constantly seeking him out in everything you did; even subconsciously. the attraction kept you going, something to look for, to stay motivated for. but this? this was so much better, being able to have him right here. he was overwhelming all of your senses, you felt like you were drowning in him. you’d happily die this way.
and warren? the man thought he was living a fantasy. he really didn't know what the fuck was happening, if he had something unknown put in his coffee this morning that made him extra desirable in the eyes of others, especially towards someone like you. yes, warren rojas—ladies' man, a rockstar, but you were a princess in his eyes. someone he did not deserve, could and should not have. but here you were, and you were perfect in every sense imaginable. an indescribable beauty was carried in all of you, and he adored all of it.
warren, his mouth still on yours (just as overwhelming), ran his hands up your waist and flat on your back, only pushing you closer into him. god, you were so close, but he wanted more. yes, he was already losing himself in you, but just a little more, just a little closer. he happily sighed into your mouth as one of your hands tangled in his curls and the other lightly scratched at the nape of his neck, and this time you were the one smiling.
you had to reluctantly pull away to take a breath, and warren blinked his brown eyes open with a grin. he rested his head against yours, and drew gentle circles on the curve of your back.
“does that mean you’re into me too, cheeky girl?”

pairing: bestfriend!billy x reader
word count: -1k
a/n: first ever billy dunne fic! it’s probably absolute crap but pretend you enjoy it anyways!!! also let me know whether you want a pt.2 cause this is just a taster!!!!
“I have something new.” Billy walked into your room and slouched down on your bed.
He leaned back against your headboard with his guitar strung over his chest ready to be played. His t-shirt was ridiculously sweaty from how hot it was out, the open window barely passing a breeze through.
You were sat at your desk, scrapbooking again. You loved making scrapbooks for each passing year and due to it being December it had come that time of year again, to have your photos developed and stuck in a book forever.
“When did you get here?” You laughed at his audacity to just waltz into your room. You hadn’t even heard him knock.
“Well your mom was talking about another friend she knows who can get us a gig for next Saturday. So, about 40 minutes ago.” He joked about how your mom would just talk and talk and talk…
You shook your head and gave him your undivided attention, by coming to sit on the corner of your bed next to his feet.
You shook your head and gave him your undivided attention, by coming to sit on the corner of your bed next to his feet.
“So, you have something new?” You asked.
“Yeah.”
“Is it as political as the last one? ‘Cause I don’t think singing about how much you hate America is going to sell well.” You teased him, to which he responded by playfully kicking you with his foot.
“Actually, it’s a love song.” He sniffled, rubbing his nose with a finger - a nervous tick of his you’d noticed since forever.
You swallowed lightly, “O-oh. So you’ve got a muse, do you?” Your smile was small and Billy knew you well enough to tell just that.
“Is that so bad?”
“N-no. Aha, no not at all. What’s the song about?” You tried to steer the topic of conversation, before you ended up revealing your truest heart to him.
Billy Dunne could never know that your heart had always been his.
He just couldn’t. It was ruin everything.
“Well, they always say when the end of the year comes around you look back on the things that you regret not doing, saying… loving. So, I guess it’s a tribute to that feeling.” He looked at you with those big blue eyes and you were found all over again.
Falling in love with Billy had been easy.
Catching yourself from falling too hard, too quickly, has been the issue.
“Let’s hear it then.” You smiled more confidently, always excited to hear Billy sing. You often listened to the tape he had recorded for you before falling asleep, because it was all the acoustic versions of the songs that had never been produced further than that.
They were solely yours. That mixtape was your own personal slice of Billy’s heart, waiting to be played every night to let the love spill out of the music and into your own heart.
Billy started strumming the guitar and you were trying to memorise every note so that you’d never forget it. He smiled as he played, most likely thinking of the girl who he regretted not loving this year.
You watched him intensely, watching his fingers strum the guitar with precision and allowing the music to flow freely. It was a challenge not to smile in awe of him.
His lyrics were sad, but hopeful. It sounded like he was calling out to this girl and stressing there was still time for them. The year hadn’t ended yet and Billy sounded desperate to not finish the year without making sure she knew that. The melody was beautiful and catchy. No doubt you’d find yourself singing in every shower concert from now on.
Once he’d finished he looked towards you apprehensively to gauge your reaction. His brows furrowed when he saw you teary eyed.
“That bad, huh?” He chuckled briefly, trying to lighten the weird pressure in the room.
“No,” You rushed out, “God, no, Billy. Just, well– yeah…”
“Yeah, what?” He put the guitar down on the bed next to him and sat up so he was closer to your body. “Was it really awful?”
“Billy…” You rolled your eyes at how he could even suggest such a thing. Billy Dunne would and could never be awful at music. His lyrics, his melodies and his songs were always second to none.
Billy was made for the big stage and you dreamt every night that he would achieve those dreams. The day Billy performs for a crowd larger than 200 people will be the day you run on stage and kiss him for how much you love him.
“Hey.” He sat forwards a little more and took your hands in his. “What’s up?”
“The song was nice.”
“Nice? You’re upset because my song was nice?” He chuckled, finding that hard to believe.
“No, i’m… It’s just nice that you think of this person you wrote the song for in that way.” You looked into his eyes of ocean blue and fell a little bit more in love with him. You smiled and made sure he was smiling too.
He kept looking over your features of your face; scanning from eyes to nose to freckles to… lips. His eyes took in every inch of your face and yet all your could focus on where his eyes. Those beautiful eyes that told you a thousand different pictures on one canvas.
“Well, it turned out I more than love this person.” He smiled warmly, clearly thinking about this girl in his head.
“Why did you never tell me?”
Billy laughed a heavy gasp, turning his gaze towards the more interesting looking floor and collecting his thoughts before turning back to you.
“I.. I dunno.” He smiled.
“Well I hope you play this special person your song and I hope they fall in love with you too.”
“I just did.” Billy said quickly, almost as if he didn’t say it now he never would. It felt unplanned for him, but it felt right.
“W-what?”
“Shit - Aha - Did you fall in love with the song? With me?” He asked so quickly that your mind was not focusing properly. “I’ve fucked this all up haven’t I? Fuck. Y/N, listen I—”
“Billy, you love me enough to write me a song?” You asked quietly, your eyes gently tearing up again.
“Always kinda have.” He smiled.
“God…” You laughed to yourself.
“What?”
“I just.. I never thought you’d ever actually love me back!”
Billy’s smile turned wider and into a large grin, with eyes full of hope. “You mean?…” He looked expectantly at you.
“I love you, Billy Dunne.” You said once quietly and then repeated it louder for ask your neighbours to hear. You wanted everyone to finally know your declaration loud and proud.
You wanted everyone to know Billy could be the world’s icon, but he’d always be your heart.

On October 4, 1977, Daisy Jones & The Six performed to a sold out crowd at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois. They were one of the biggest bands in the world at the time, fresh off their award-winning, multi-platinum selling album “Aurora.” It would be their final performance.
In the 20 years since, members of the band and their inner circle have refused to speak on the record about what happened… Until now.
THE RISE OF THE SIX (1966-1972)
The Six started out as a blues-rock band called the Dunne Brothers in the mid-sixties out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Billy and Graham Dunne were raised by single mother, Marlene Dunne, after their father, William Dunne Sr., left in 1954.
BILLY DUNNE (lead singer, The Six): I always dreamed of something different than the typical laid out career paths. When Graham first got the idea to start a band, I assumed it was just to win back his girlfriend. He was, what fourteen? The kid thought his life was over. [Laughs] I guess in retrospect, maybe it was a good idea.
WARREN ROJAS (drummer, The Six): He was definitely trying to get his girlfriend back.
GRAHAM DUNNE (lead guitar, The Six): We were solid, fine for a while. When Chuck quit, we were out a bassist, which isn’t really something you can do without in a band. Billy originally wanted Eddie to switch to bass, but he wasn’t too keen on that.
EDDIE ROUNDTREE (rhythmic guitar, The Six): I was so sick of Billy trying to run the band, it wasn’t his band, or at least, it wasn’t supposed to be.
WARREN ROJAS: There was this girl in my math class, her uncle owned a music store downtown, and she used to give lessons to kids on weekends, it was mostly just some scheme by her uncle to get people to buy guitars.
BILLY DUNNE: She was a sophomore, a young sophomore at that, she wasn’t even 16 by the time she joined, I was a year out of high school and the rest of the boys are creeping on 17 and 18, she just didn’t fit. Warren gets all the boys on board before bringing the idea up to me so I look like the asshole if I say no, I wanted to say no too, but she was good and I didn’t have another option.
EDDIE ROUNDTREE: She didn’t even show an interest in being in the band, she wasn’t begging us to give her a chance, we were near-stalking her at the music store, waiting for the perfect opportunity to hear her play and casually bring up that we happened to need a bassist.
JULIET OPAL (bassist/singer, The Six): They weren’t nearly as sly as they thought they were. I originally thought it was some attempt at stealing records or 8-tracks, y’know waiting until I wasn’t looking, but they kept coming back, seemingly just waiting for me to do something, what it was I didn’t know, but something.
EDDIE ROUNDTREE: [Sighs] They decided I would be the one to talk to her.
The shop’s bell rang, signaling the door had been opened, which swung Juliet’s attention away from the magazine she was skimming and up to the front of the store, peering through the aisles to see who entered. A boy, one she recognized from the creeping on her from the previous weeks, made himself visible and she was immediately on high alert. He approached the counter, swallowing nerves as he did, and cleared his throat.
“Hi,” his voice was hoarse, she took the awkward silence as a moment to study him, he wore a striped shirt, loose jeans, and brown shoes, his hair could use a comb through. He extended his hand, “I’m Eddie, I think we go to school together.”
“Juliet,” she met his hand, “is that why you’re here, to tell me that we might go to school together? Or is there an ulterior motive, one that may explain why you and your friends have been spying on me the past week,” any speck of confidence Eddie had going into this was entirely gone.
“I’m in a band with some friends and our bassist bailed on us pretty recently. My friend, Warren, he’s a junior like me, I think he’s in your math class, said he saw you play bass and that you were good. We just wanted to see you play before we formally asked.”
“Formally asked what?” She leaned up from her elbows that she had been propped on.
“Oh, to, uh, like,” he stopped himself, licking his lips and sighing, “would you want to maybe play bass for us?” His eyes instantly went to his shoes and he stuffed his hands inside his pockets.
“Can I have a little more info maybe? It’s not personal, I just don’t know you, like at all and you could be the worst players for all I know.”
EDDIE ROUNDTREE: That one hurt, something about a younger kid who you have a solid five inches on insinuating that she’s better than you are, especially when you’re practically on your knees begging for her to help you out can feel like salt being rubbed into a fresh wound.
JULIET OPAL: What else was I supposed to do? [Laughs] Just blindly follow the older boy who had been spying on me for a week to the alleged garage that he practices in with his alleged band and hope for the best? I paid attention in the stranger-danger assemblies, I knew better.
EDDIE ROUNDTREE: I invited her back to Billy and Graham’s but she said she had to close up for her uncle. Once we were out in L.A. she told me she actually just didn’t wanna leave with me and in hindsight, I can’t say I blame her.
The following morning Juliet and the Dunne Brothers skipped their first period and met in the Dunne’s garage. Juliet studied the wads of scribbled sheet music Billy had handed to her without looking her in the eye and she didn’t miss the way Eddie rolled his eyes at his hostility, and Eddie didn’t miss the way her upper lip curled into a smile as she saw his reaction.
After rifling through the stack of papers, she picked out one at random, and set it down on the table in front of her, leaning over to scan in a few times before pulling the strap of her guitar over her head. She looked over to the group of boys, standing huddled together with Billy noticeably further away and Warren nodded fervently at her with a grin overtaking her face.
After she played through the song, Billy made her play another, and another, and two more after that ‘for safety.’ Once he had run out of excuses for her to keep playing, he asked her to step out of the garage so they could confer with each other. After seven minutes and two overheard “c’mon man”s from Warren, Juliet was invited back into the garage and to serve as a temporary bass for the band, just until Billy could come to his final decision.
JULIET OPAL: He was stubborn even then, I’m honestly surprised he let me in.
BILLY DUNNE: I didn’t want to let her in the band.
EDDIE ROUNDTREE: I wanted her in the band, I made sure Billy knew that.
JULIET OPAL: A week after I joined, we were playing a gig with the Winters.
The group stood backstage, listening to the music that was permeating into every corner of the room. Juliet stood sandwiched between Warren and Camila, listening to the band. They had a keyboardist, she caught Juliet’s eye once they had got backstage, when they finished playing and she got offstage, Juliet made a beeline for her, introducing herself.
“I’m Karen,” she introduced herself, “you play with these guys?”
“Mhm, I’m on bass right now, but in an ideal world I’d steal Eddie over there’s job,” she pointed to him and he smiled back, nodding his head up at her, unknowingly, “I won’t though, kinda like him, at least more than I do Billy,” Karen nodded, opening her mouth to excuse herself from the conversation, “y’know I’ve been saying we need a keyboardist.”
“Have you now?” That piqued her interest she stopped in her tracks and smirked over her shoulder.
“No,” she admitted, “but I’ve been thinking it.” Billy hollered her name, gesturing her over to the group, who were making their way onstage. She pulled a receipt with a phone number scribbled across it in black ink and handed it to Karen, “If you ever get sick of them, give me a call, I’ll put in a good word for you.”
“Do you always carry around drug store receipts with your phone number on them?”
“You never know who you might meet,” she shrugged and started sprinting towards the stage before calling out over her shoulder, “worked out this time. Wish me luck!”
KAREN SIRKO (keyboardist, The Six): She was so.. vivacious, so full of life. She apoke about a million miles a minute, if I wasn’t fully interested in what she was saying, I don’t think I would’ve caught a word of it. You have this young girl talking your ear off, she seems entirely sure of herself, but also still feels a need to prove to you that she deserves to be there.
JULIET OPAL: I liked Karen, how could I not? And based on the way events would play out, clearly I wasn’t the only one.
WARREN ROJAS: It was a great gig, Julie did great, not that we weren’t expecting her to, we were just worried about her, she had never done anything in front of a crowd before, but she did everything that actually counted right.
EDDIE ROUNDTREE: On the drive home she sat next to me and she told me I played well, then she leaned in and kinda whispered and she thanked me. She thanked me for being the one to ask her to join because she would’ve said no to anyone else. [Smiles]

Inspired by @mystargirl-interlude ‘s post about Billy writing a song w/ readers moans in the backround.
How Teddy + the band would react to Billy playing the song for them
Karen - Karen would immediately be doubting the fact that you allowed Billy to play it for the band and just sit there, looking around the studio as the song just keeps going. She’d be counting the minutes until it was over, and she’d be the first to say no to it.
Warren - I feel like Warren would definitely enjoy the song and think it sounds good, probably not even realizing that it’s you in the background of the song. He would be vibing with it, nodding his head to the beat and playing imaginary drums until he noticed that the rest of the band is sitting idly.
Graham - Graham would be shocked that Billy was playing this in front of the band, especially considering how possessive his brother is over you. His face would be red and he’d be staring at the ground, trying to ignore the fact that your moans are being blasted in the studio. He’d try to distract himself by bouncing his leg but Billy is just proudly playing the song for all to hear.
Eddie - Eddie would be rolling his eyes the minute Billy announced that he had a new song. Once he heard the song start he’d definitely look around the room to make sure everyone was hearing what he was hearing and that he wasn’t just hallucinating the fact that Billy was playing a recording of you and him hooking up on the background of the song.
Teddy - Billy would be in the middle of playing it for Teddy in the studio and Teddy would pause it after like the second time your moans play and just look to Billy as if it were the most obvious thing and say, “This is not going on the album.” And Billy would be so confused and be like, “What happened to wanting sex and Rock N’ Roll?” And Teddy would just be like, “If I wanted to hear all of that I would’ve watched a porno. I asked for a song, not a sextape,” and Billy still wouldn’t understand what was so bad about it.

OH MY GOD !!!! 🥲🥲🥲
“Fuck, we cannot have sex again,” Graham panted as you unbuckled his belt. You smirked up at him with innocent eyes. His head fell against the wall, his hands collecting your hair into a messy pony tale.
“Who said anything about sex?” You said, pulling his boxers down and licking your lips at the sight in front of you.
“I hope you know how fucking gorgeous you are,” Graham moaned, as your hand began to travel up his thighs. You shrugged and bit your lip.
“I’ve been told once or twice,” You teased, your hands moving everywhere but his hard cock.
Graham whined and you giggled, your cheeks already flushed.
“You want to fuck my mouth?” You asked, tilting your head innocently.
Graham bucked his hips.
You laughed again, “I’ll take as a yes,” You said, winking. Slowly, with much anticipation, you slid your lips over the tip of his cock. Graham let out a whimper, the grip on your hair becoming tighter.
You took more of him in your mouth, as he began to move his hips.
“Just like that, baby,”

>>Y/N , in a certain sunny backyard (your backyard)<< ;  Fuckin shit.. are we rolling? [You continue to mess with the mic taped onto your shirt in nervousness.] Testinggg Testingggg.. >>Interviewer<< ; [She laughed lightly , gathering her notepad from a side table. She was sitting across from you.] Oh yeah no no we’re definitely rolling , want me to start on with the questions? >>Y/N<< ; Yes of course , fire away! Sorry if I’m a little clumsy with this I’ve never been the best at interviews is all. [You comment as your hand goes for a drink you had placed down earlier right before she got the camera rolling.] >>Interviewer<< ; Trust me you’ll be fine , its a easy process honestly. I’ll start with the first question. . . being one of the lead vocalists of the band must have been something. How did you meet the band? >>Y/N<< ; [You lean back taking a swig of your drink with it] Well in Hazelwood? , nothing could stop you from knowing everyone and their business. Growing up I was neighbors with the Dunne family, we lived right across the street. I was stuck in my bubble a lot as a kid. I only knew about the brothers after my mother forced me over when she and their mom had their regular long lunches.  We [my family] especially got involved once their dad popped out of the picture. My mother noticed the hole he left in that family dynamic so she helped out how she could. Be that in money or lending a hand when needed. Which meant I was around MORE often than normal. Especially she stressed to try and be a little more friendly with Billy. With our own childhood rivalry , she always repeated about how he was in a tough place and needed a friend. Some time passed and surprisingly we clicked? Somehow , someway we became actual friends. I honestly dont regret getting more closer with him , he may be a douche but he isn’t or wasn’t the most vile guy around.                                                                                                                       [You commented , shrugging and repositioning yourself.] Graham was pretty easy to get along with a little later on. He was a huge dork but a good guy , along with being a total awkward mess when it came to any girl deciding to barely SPEAK with him. The brothers weren’t half bad to be completely honest. Eddie and Warren? , those guys I met through Graham. Like I said in that town you always knew who everyone was and what they were up to. I had met Warren when Graham had invited him over to his place. I popped in just for fun and then met the goof. To this day one of my favorite people on this plane of existence. Eddie.. [you snapped your fingers] oh! My mother would volunteer at the local old folks home , she always had that saint behavior. Eddie was visiting his grandma and I was stuck in his grandmas room waiting for my mom to get back so we could leave. Me and him struck up some conversation , found out we knew the same people and had some similar interests. Big fucking doof but again , a likeable dork. Then... boom! - just like that he was stuck with me. At that point they all were. [You chuckled happily as you finish explaining.] >>Interviewer<< ; *She nodded while scribbling down something on her notepad.* Wonderful , on with my next question - how  was your start with the band? You know joining it and all. >>Y/N<< ; [You nodded- swishing around your glass.] At first when the band was starting off I didnt really have my mind set on joining you know? We were all just dumb kids , I was more of a person dedicated to a steady sort of “project” if you could call it that. But then... I heard them from chucks garage. I wasn’t some musical genius, but I had some useful judgments. I remember popping my head in, giving some light-hearted jabs at them. Then out of the blue Eddie starts talking his ass off all embarrassed, if I’m so good I should join! I can just remember staring daggers into the bozo's eye sockets. Little did they know I actually had some skills to back me up; my “audition” they all looked so incredibly hilarious. Just like that I was in , they even let me take up vocals with Eddie. All the time I could remember Graham going on constantly about how THE Billy Dunne would be playing with us. School or where ever , he was always on his bullshit. At that point Billy was basically a legend around people our age. Everyone would figuratively and literally fall to their knees for the hunk with his guitar. While I was the swamp goblin that caught a ride on that popularity. [You chuckled half heartedly , taking another swig from your cup.] Of course, we weren’t the best, this wasn't anything extraordinary. Nevertheless, at least we were something. It didn't take much convincing from Graham to have him hear them play, but hey- I helped with that extra push. Just a few sessions later the band was basically his, although I still was able to keep my placement in the band. Even with how stubborn he was or could be, it was enjoyable having our ideas bounce off one another. Besides whatever he says , I didnt threaten to cut his dick off. It was a spur of the moment thing you know! But it really only lifted up our talent more , him joining and becoming our basic front man. We actually became... easier to stomach. [You shudder , sheepishly replying with a grin.] As we got into more of the rhythm of actually BEING a band , nothing was set and stone. It was basically just an escape; a detour if you will from regular life. I cant even recall off the top of my head all the tons of local parties , graduations , even weddings we played. Honestly was a pretty enjoyable time for the lot of us. I mean getting to hang out with a group friends doing something you were all semi passionate about? Truly a fuckin blast if I do say so myself. Even with the fun , deep down you could embrace with talent we had when playing on the cramped stages we were given. I was a big dreamer and dream big I did. Those early days , our potential was showing itself off more. That “it” factor that wasn’t quite discovered yet was so palpable, so I stayed hopeful. We only really became an actual, legitimate band after a certain gig we had. It was a wedding , my best guess is that one of the newly weds name was Doug? Though that’s besides the point. I mean starting off we didnt play in the best of places. Maybe a couple crappy bars around town here and there or some “okay” parties .. but nothing super superb. Until we got this one , everyone couldn’t have been more over the moon! When we got onstage the crowd couldn’t have loved us more , it was a pretty pleasant time. Until in the middle of our session I spot some old creep. He was dancing.. even if you could call it that. The most tackiest suit with a pretty shitty comb over. Dont forget the girl that was basically our age. Took me a little too long to realize that.. that was Billy and Grahams dad. Before I could do or say anything , Billy looked mortified. His eyes were wide as his jaw was to the floor. He stormed off before even any of us could get a word in. Graham had gotten a little ahead of us while me , Eddie , Warren , and Chuck followed along. As if anyone could look more shattered than he did , I mean just by the look on his face you could tell something was up. He was so quick on his feet , marching back in to confront him. His dad was clearly waisted and had some of that classic slurred drunky speech. Lets just say there was some really good Karma going around. Coming back out into the parking lot , any payment from that whole thing was doomed right after Grahams fist went slamming into his dads face. Everyone stood around aimlessly while just by a glance at Billy.. something was cooking up in his magnificent brain. He had the words to rally hundreds , instead rallying the rest of us. I can remember his words like it was all entirely yesterday. “Your my brothers.. I love you. We work hard and stick together. We’re gonna be the biggest band in the world someday , do you trust me?” [You explained while using your hands in air quotes.] He wasn’t wrong about becoming the biggest fuckin band in the world I’ll let you know. [You joked with a snicker as the interviewer across from you shared the snicker with a faint chuckle.] Right after that gig was when practices started to get more frequent , all crammed inside of Chucks garage. If my vocal cords were frazzled and my hands were sore it was a good day. Not gonna lie that was  frequent occurrence. Around that time was also where Billy got more acquainted with Camila. I had knew her from around the neighborhood , we would always run into each other on our shared walks to the middle school we went to. She was like sun when its fiery and burning , bright and always cheery for conversation.  For weeks Graham was less of the hopelessly in love one around. Hours upon hours Billy couldn’t stop talking about her. It was nice seeing him so happy , she really brought something out of him. A new sort of groove so to say. [You wink at the camera with a toothy grin.] ■━■ Speaking of Camila , it brought a memory to your mind.  ■━■ It was the week before Billy had asked Camila to be his girlfriend. He was rambling about her for days and days on end. Constantly frequenting your house just to only talk about her. It may had been a little ear grating but you were happy for him none the less. Though, your feelings for him never stopped poking at you. You’ve never really felt so bitter when hearing about the new girl he was in a daze over. But now.. something tugged at you. Be it jealousy or contemplation , it was definitely something. You could never really land on an explanation.   One of those days he had stopped by your house. Your mom was out with her new conquest on some sort of weekend trip , which left you home alone. It may have been shameful to still live with your parent but it did leave you to roam around freely. With Billy involved , that all led to shenanigans happening. Your mother had this prized piano , one of the things she always cherished even with how old it was. It may have been a gift from your grandparents? You never really wanted to know , never the less cared about it origins. But you always loved playing it. That night you were able to open your moms alcohol stash , and lets just say you and Billy got a little heavy handed with the booze. To the point the both of you felt like teenagers doing the most stupidest shit in existence , even though you guys were only stumbling around. Definitely the kinds of things that would totally have the pair of you in trouble. What was supposed to be a session for brainstorming became your own mini , two person party. As it reached around midnight the two of your were sat at that old piano. It was so eloquent , probably one of the most expensive things in your house. Playfully your hands were smacking at the keys. While Billy's head was rested upon your shoulder , his signature “dumb” smile on his face. Cherishing the alone time , while in your sloppy state your slurred out the words to the song you had been coming up with. Even though your mind was in a bit of a fuzz you still were able to match the keys and the tone. Though you couldn't help the hiccups and little giggles that emerged from you. It was until you realize Billy crane his head up and look at you as you played. His cheeks were more red than a fresh strawberry , eyes oh so glazed over as he only watched you. You realized as well and looked over , the warmness in your cheeks heightening. Not stopping yourself , you took that moment in silence to admire him. Be it his immersive eyes or his intoxicating smile , there was always something about him. Something that always dragged you along for the ride. Something that always led you to stick by his side no matter what. Something about this man. . . made you feel something. These feelings that always made you loose a little air and made your chest puff out in that same old flustered feeling. That same stupid grin came back as he couldn’t stop laughing. It was bashful and exuberant , while being calm and grounding in the best way possible. You quirked a brow as you couldn’t help but start on this chuckle train. You wiped your eye with a flick of your finger. “Wh-what are you even on right now man~?” You tried to compose yourself as your voice got a little more fluent. He didnt stop grinning like an idiot. “Nothinggg.. you just make things good.” He commented as he crossed his arms in confidence. “I see , so thats what you kept me around this long~..” You cracked as another giggle escaped from you; your eyes still glued to his. He gently socked your forearm as he couldn’t stop himself from giggling. “N-noo! Dont sell yourself THAT short. You make a lot of things good.. you make me feel.. good.” He may had been stumbling over his words but that was one of the most dedicated proclamations. You cracked a blissful smirk as you seemingly leaned a little bit more in.“Well I’m glad to be a booster to your existence.” As soon as you finished talking , he also got a little bit closer. Maybe it was the copious amounts of alcohol the two of you chugged down , or the confusing thoughts sprouting. But almost like the current took you in , your lips met Billy’s. He welcomed in the kiss , moving his hands right away. His hands cupped your cheeks; embracing the warmness of your face. The kiss only deepened and turned into more of a tangled make out. Though he was the first one to pull away , regret filling his face. You were confused about how he was suddenly acting. The man looked the most sober out of the both of you. “I-im sorry I- I cant do this. All of this.. I mean your awesome but..” Even as he was explaining himself his hands still cupped your warm face. Your eyes framed into sad ones as you scooted back; well as much as you could on the pianos bench. He tried to say something , you really wanted him to! Maybe a “just kidding” or.. anything! But alas he was quiet the entire time you two shared a painful stare. He got up from the connected bench and staggered over to your front door. You felt so ashamed in that moment. So small you couldn’t stop beating yourself up about it. But you realized what those feelings you had always pined over were. You, like it or not... were in love with Billy Dunne. You came to that realization as he continued to walk out on you. Be it the next coming week nothing seemed out of the ordinary , he was still friendly with you like always. Though the kiss was never brought back up again. Along with that Camila started to come around more often. Huge recorder in her hand as she watched over your practice sessions. Maybe in the end that was for the best , maybe in the end it was all just too complicated. ■━■ You reeled your mind out of the gutter and back to the present. ■━■ >>Y/N<< ; [You head your head in your hand as you looked back at Jules.] Sorry, got a little zoned out. Did I miss something? >>Interviewer<< ; [She shook her head with a kind look on her face.] No no.. you did though cut off at the part of the whole band realization. >>Y/N<< ; [You readjust in your seat once more.] Right right , at that point in our life it was almost like a huge fork in the road. I mean we were all just adults thrashing our heads around at endless gigs. Most people our age were either off getting fancy dead end jobs or dead in ditches after enlisting. The actual chance of us getting a name for ourselves was.. small in hindsight. Even though the odds were stacked against us a lot of the time , we were able to get an actually good gig. At the time with a band like ours , opening for the winters was almost like a blessing in disguise. It may have been us packed into again , some small bar with annoyingly sweaty onlookers but it was the Winters for christ sake! Somehow some way we got that one scored in the bag , and we went to go tell Chuck about our latest accomplishment. Though guess he was up to his own shit. I was never the biggest fan of him you know? He was okay but he was like... meh when it came to actual conversation. Personally I was never the closest with him. Anyways- we arrive to his house in Warrens new van. It was clunky and smoky but with a little touch ups we made it work. More of a home than a heap of shit. Poor dude had busted all of his savings on it. Whole time I couldn’t stop fidgeting in the back with the idea of us becoming somebodies. I always was a big dreamer and forever will be. It may be frowned down upon to put all your eggs into one basket but we were just some crazy kids looking for something. This was that something! In my mind I knew this gig had to lead to some sort of accomplishment in a way , I just knew it. Even if it all sounded crazy or spur of the moment , the band was like our.. baby in a way? Like our prize possession , and take the gig as some big new award. Long story short , I was filled with so much fear and excitement I was basically like a ticking time bomb. [You dramatically grace a hand to your chest before going on with your explanation.]
>>Y/N<< ; When we arrived, I could already tell something was up. The garage we always played in was closed, which I took as a concerning sign. My anxiety was even more impacted by seeing Chuck's face. Guy looked like he was about to shit himself in fear. He tells us and acts like an asshole about it. A dentistry career? Really? I knew he was shitty from the start. Now with our new gig lined up and no bassist , you’d probably be like well what do we do now. Well Eddie was immediately was talking about us having to “cancel the gig.” Lets just say I stepped around a couple hypothetical landmines when Billy tried to push Eddie to play bass. I stepped in of course and said I’d do it. With how much time I normally spent cooped up in my house during my younger years I was pretty much a master at it. An I mean , you could just feel the bitterness rising once Billy tried to push it on him. Mission saved of course by yours truly. [You stated dramatically - taking a sip from your drink and setting it down.] We do the gig and you know what? , its a hit! The crowd goes wild and we have a fucking awesome time. Entire encore I was just taking in the fact people were listening at all. After we finish, we took a smoke break outside the bar. Casually me , Eddie , and Warren are standing off to the side. Just talking like regular. When all of a sudden I see Billy , starry eyed scurry up to us with Graham behind him. Brining up the idea of “Hey lets road trip to L.A to grow our band!” At first it was sudden , I mean being realistic- we aren’t just gonna fly off the charts when first hitting Los Angeles. But you know what? , Hazelwood was getting cramped. I loved living there and I did for most of my entire life. But this was something new! Just by that performance I immediately said yes to the idea. We promised to always stick together , and I was a person of my word. The whole upbeat mood kind of dropped when Camila came out asking what was up , but I had to deal with packing my things. I basically jumped out of the van door when Warren dropped me off. As soon as I reentered my “home” , everything changed. My mom was still awake and livid. She was clearly not in a lucid headspace seeing the amounts of opened wine. Her displeasure only grew stronger when I told her the news. Snipping at me for leaving my “poor and weak mother to fend for herself.” I stood my ground then and there. I was always thankful that she’d let me stay with her. Most kids would have been kicked out if they were my age and weren’t going to school. But me and my mother struck up a deal with living costs and that was that. All of a sudden though she gets so pissed that I’m leaving. I tell her straight , that I’m an adult and this is something new for me. That it could really mean something for my career. I distinctly remember her scoffing in my face and going - “What career?!” It was really messy , and I was fed up with it. Even when she was screaming at me I packed my bags. All I owned into one big suitcase for the city of angels , woohooo..! I didn’t even let my tears stop me as she started to cut deeper with her insults. Right when I told her there was no way I was backing out , she basically disowned me. Saying that she didn’t want to be associated or RELATED with some washed up crack whore. Genuinely I was so confused , she always supported this dream of mine? Always accepted my hopes and aspirations, she never hesitated to pay for any lessons I wanted or any new hobby I wanted to partake in. Seeing her face for one last time I only saw the bad. Her leaving for days with her new “friends” , her clearly drunk off her gord and slurring nonsense after she decided to hide herself behind the couches for at least a weekend[s]. She was an embarrassment but knew how to clean up an act. That two faced bitch shoved me out of my own house , and told me I was never welcomed inside again. It wasn’t like I wouldn’t call or anything , I've been cleaning up her messes since day one. Always having to deal with my new “dad” candidates whisking around my halls , or having to be the middle man in those arguments. Fuck- they’d even make me deal with their kids! I couldn’t even get in one word before I got the door slammed in my face. I tried calling for her , begging for her to understand. I basically lost a mother in that moment and it wrecked me. All I wanted when I cam home was some support and what I got in return was just bitter insults. I couldn’t really be excited when the home I knew for so long became nothing. I couldn’t sleep outside with the rain incoming. So I went to someone that was actually decent , Ms. Dunne. It had started sprinkling when I made it onto her doorstep. My sobbing blended with the rain but by my guitar case , get-away bag, and watery eyes she knew something happened.  She welcomed me in with the biggest hug , telling me everything was gonna be okay. She already knew about the whole move to L.A and gave me some hope. Telling me that she’ll be my personal cheerleader places away. An to not listen to what my mother said , that I had a talent so bright it was like the blinking stars in the night sky. I was a blubbering mess while she started to make me a nice hot cup of tea. I realized something very helpful in that moment. Family isn’t just by blood .. its the people who love you , who accept you even with all your mucky details. That was the Six for me , they were my family. As the warm cup dragged me back down to earth , I became settled in my decision. I slept on the Dunne’s couch that night. It may had been a rainy day but all I saw was my hot , and burning future when I woke and saw that fateful van. We all packed in , everyone feeling mixed emotions. I even got more excited when I saw a eager Cami crawl in as well.  I was pretty joyed over the reconciliation between her and Billy , but all I was thinking of was what was to come. Going as far as to imagining what could possibly happen. I was maybe... fifty percent correct in what I had in mind. [You chuckled with a big bright grin at the statement , holding your head in your hands.] The time that passed was awesome in the van. We were all just a group of ambitious people finding something more. When we made it? , god I was overjoyed! It was all just like my dreams , with the big signs in lights and the character filled pedestrians. Nighttime there was nothing compared to night back home.  I knew I was gonna like this arrangement right away. ‿‿‿‿ ‿‿‿‿ ‿‿‿‿ ‿‿‿‿ ʙᴏɴᴜꜱ ꜰᴏᴏᴛᴀɢᴇ: >>Interviewer<< ; How would you describe them in three words? >>ʙɪʟʟʏ ᴅᴜɴɴᴇ<< ; Oh god! , theres so many ways to describe them in more than just three words. [He scoffed lightly in flustered-ness , really taking a second to think.] I cant fuck this up i’d tell you that. Lets sayy.. honest , vibrant , and complicated. Though that’s was one of their greatest quirks. >>ᴅᴀɪꜱʏ ᴊᴏɴᴇꜱ<< ; [She chucked at the thought.] Well.. maybe forgiving , genuine , and wonderful! They are so many things but truly never boring. >>ᴡᴀʀʀᴇɴ ʀᴏᴊᴀꜱ<< ; Hmm... so much shit to choose from. I’d have to go with comedic , the best , and just.. god this is hard! Wait was that three- >>ᴋᴀʀᴇɴ ꜱɪʀᴋᴏ<< ; They’ve always been one of my closest friends to this day. Compassionate , creative , and sparky! Just by their presence you could immediately tell you were gonna have a good time. Maybe a mess but hey , aren’t we all? >>ᴇᴅᴅɪᴇ ʀᴏᴜɴᴅᴛʀᴇᴇ<< ; [He tapped at his chin in thought.] Personally? Wait.. just THREE? Holy shit this is gonna be hard. Well.. all I’m gonna say is they were like a ball of chaos in the best ways possible. They could just consume you fully in so much wonder , never a dull moment. [He smiled , assured in his answer.] >>ᴄᴀᴍɪʟᴀ ᴀʟᴠᴀʀᴇᴢ (ᴅᴜɴɴᴇ)<< ; [She smiled thoughtfully at the camera.] There's one great word to describe them entirely. Curiosity , just the embodiment of it entirely.

Last Forever | Eddie Roundtree x Reader
Request from anonymous: hii!! i love your eddie fics, you’re an amazing writer! i was wondering if i could put in a request where eddie and reader are both in the band and as they’re up on stage they look at each other while performing (kinda like billy and daisy i guess?). Karen and Camila notices this and they talk about it with reader and reader is in denial because her and eddie are good friends and she doesn’t want to jeopardize that (they became friends over their hatred of billy😭). but they end up together in the end though? thank you💕💕
Warnings: Angst, fluff, profanities, kissing
Daisy Jones and The Six Masterlist

Everytime you walk out on stage, you instantly get high off of the thrill of seeing the crowd bursting with energy. The audience cheers as the band walks out onstage, jumping up and down while waving their hands in the air. You'll never get tired of this. To think you had once believed you'd never make it out of Pittsburgh—now you were performing in front of a sold-out concert in the heart of New York.
You thought back to your first performance, back when the band was called "The Dunne Brothers." It seemed crazy to you, now, that you were so nervous to go out on stage. There were, at most, thirty people who couldn't care less about what you guys were playing.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Holding your tambourine tightly in your hand, you peeked your head out from behind the curtains, tapping your foot against the wooden floor. You were nervous, anyone in the band could see that.
You felt the warmth of a hand on your back, an arm slinging over your shoulders. Turning your head, your eyes meet Eddie's.
A forced smile found itself on your face as he spoke, "Nervous?"
"Can you tell?" You asked, bowing your head.
"Only a little," He smiled, "Look, it's going to be okay. Just pretend they aren't out there. They don't give a damn what we're doing anyway. This is just practice for when we make it big."
Taking a deep breath, your eyes met his again, your foot going still, "Thank you."
"You're going to do great, Y/N."
"You are, too."
Sure enough, Eddie was right. Barely anyone in the crowd, except one woman who was drunk off her ass, cared about what you guys were playing. A few people swayed to the music, but few looked up on stage.
While singing backup, gently tapping the tamorine on your upper thigh, you looked over at him, a smile plastered on your face. He returned the sentiment, nodding his head as he played.
That was the first, of many, times Eddie Roundtree eased your fears.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Stepping up to your mic, you looked around at the band. Daisy and Billy were waving at the crowd, who's cheering only got louder as they do so. Meanwhile, Karen was laughing at something Graham was saying to her—and Warren was fiddling with his drumsticks, getting his energy from the audience.
Then there was Eddie. He was tapping on his guitar, a gentle smile on his face as he took it all in. New York City. Who would've known?
You looked over at him, as you had done before every single performance in the entirety of your career, and smiled.
He smiled back, nodding. This time, your eyes stayed locked on each other's for a second longer than they should have.
The two of you turned back to the roaring crowd, listening for the cue of when to start playing.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Things had been different since moving out to LA, especially after the first tour. Billy was more involved with Camila and Julia, only going to mandatory practices and opting to spend more time with his girls. Warren, Karen, and Graham were out doing everything and everyone under the sun. You expected Eddie to go with them, as he had before the band had gone on tour. But he stayed back with you.
You weren't exactly sure why, but one conversation stuck in your head as a possibility to him stopping his wild streak.
The two of you had been messing around with a melody when he looked up at you, asking, "Why don't you go out with us anymore?"
You had hesitated, initially unsure of how to answer, "How honest do you want me to be?"
"As honest as you can be."
Taking a deep breath, you leaned towards him, "I saw what drugs and alcohol did to Billy, what it did to the people who loved him. I don't want to make that same mistake. I don't ever want to put myself or the people I love in that position. When the right person comes along, I'll know. But that person won't be out being reckless."
Eddie was silent for a while before he excused himself, leaving his guitar propped up on the couch. You weren't sure what he was doing, but you did hear him rummaging in one of the rooms upstairs and then the toilet flushing.
He came back downstairs a few minutes later, his hands in his pockets, asking a simple question, "Want to keep practicing?"
You nodded, happy that what you had to say didn't ruin your friendship. As he played, you silently hoped he wouldn't notice your fleeting glances towards him.
Although you'd never admit it to him, you were aware of your feelings for him. Unbeknownst to you, so were Camila and Karen.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Daisy knew how to work a crowd—it was first nature to her. Her movements were fluid, captivating everyone's attention as she sang.
"You found me in flames/it's the daylight of change," She and Billy began, "Baby, all that stuff is done."
Your part came in a split second later as you sand backup, "You're my morning sun/Aurora, you're the one/You're my mornint sun."
While the lead vocalists continued, you focused on matching the rhythm with your tamboruine, swaying as you shook it back and forth.
When you got to the chorus, you made it all of three seconds before looking at Eddie, "Oh, I kinda think I wanna make it last forever... Oh, I kinda think I wanna make it last forever..."
To your surprise, he was looking back at you, mouthing the words back to you.
"Oh, I kinda think I wanna make it."
In that moment, there was nobody else on stage except for the two of you, looking longingly into each other's eyes as you sang back and forth to each other.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
"Are you ever going to tell him how you feel?" Karen asked you, rather impatiently, as you set the table for dinner one night.
Camila looked up from her spot over the stove in the kitchen, as if she were wondering the same thing.
"What?" Your cheeks suddenly felt hot and you chose to look anywhere but in her direction.
Karen crossed her arms, "Cam, are you going to take this or am I?"
Camila came out of the kitchen, setting a dish towel on the counter, "Y/N, we've seen the way you and Eddie look at each other. It's before every performance, every practice session... Really, anywhere."
"Because we're friends."
"That's the biggest load of bullshit I've ever heard," Karen said, rolling her eyes, "I don't know whether you guys are head over heels in love or if it's just intense eyefucking—but you've got to take care of it one way or another."
Camila held back a laugh, "What we're trying to say is, what's the point in not telling him? What do you have to lose?"
"Everything."
"What? You won't lose us or the band. You know that."
You tried to stop the tears from falling, but that proved to be difficult, "No, you don't understand."
Camila moved towards you, rubbing your back as Karen pulled out a chair for you to sit down on.
"Then what is it, honey?"
"He is everything."
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Your eyes are locked with one another, unable to put your attention anywhere else. For once, you don't give a damn what anyone thought. All you care about is what happens after the concert.
"Where did you turn... When you needed tenderness..." You sing softly, chest heaving.
You saw, Eddie's breath hitch in his throat, biting his lip.
"Where did you turn... When you needed tenderness."
Your mind drifts back to all the touches you had shared over the years—his hand on your shoulder, your palm pressed on his chest while the two of you danced around the living room on Christmas. It was all clicking.
You kept singing, "When you reached out for my touch...and I couldn't give you much...Of all the time we lost..."
Eddie tilts his head, thinking about where the two of you would be now if he had manned up and told you how he felt four years ago.
"While I was running from your light..."
You had spent years running from your feelings—that wasn't an option anymore.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Your first performance in front of over a thousand people had you a nervous wreck all over again. You could handle a couple hundred—but enough to populate your hometown? It sent you spiraling.
Eddie found you pacing back and forth behind stage, your hands running over your face to try and calm your nerves.
"Hey, hey, it's alright," He whispered, gently taking you by the shoulders, "This isn't our first rodeo, right? We're the real deal now, Y/N/N. It's alright."
He pulled you into a hug, running his hand over your hair as you breathed into his chest, "Breathe with me, okay? Listen to my heart, alright? Listen to the beat."
His voice alone managed to calm you down—paired with his touch, you didn't know what to do with yourself.
The two of you pulled away from each other, and he looked you up and down, "Ready, sweetheart?"
You nodded, causing him to smile. He pressed a kiss to your temple, "You've got this, don't worry."
The both of you ignored the looks you got from the rest of the band while you walked on stage.
During the performance, it became too much. Your fists clenched up and your breath work wasn't quite right.
Taking notice of it, Eddie discretely moved towards you, passing it off as him being really passionate playing the bass. In reality, he just wanted to be there with you, reassuring you that you'd be okay.
He succeeded, too. Having him a foot away versus the usual six helped in ways you couldn't have imagined.
From then on, he always played a little closer to you.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
As soon as the band went on a short break halfway through the concert, Eddie made a beeline towards you behind stage.
He cupped your face, pulling you into a kiss the two of you had been waiting for the entirety of your careers.
Your hands found the collar of his shirt, pulling him as close to you as physically possible. His hands slid down to your waist, finally pulling back to catch his breath.
"I've been waiting to do that since the day I met you."
His forehead pressed against yours, relief washing over him, "God, I love you. Was that too soon? I'm sorry—"
You pulled him back in for a quick kiss, "Not soon enough."

Warren Rojas x Fem!Reader

✧.* warnings — cursing, enemies to friends to lovers, silly fights between warren and the reader (If there are others that I forgot, I'll add them here later)
✧.* word count— 2.6k
✧.* 🥁 — Warren's masterlist
✧.* mandy's notes — my first time posting here so maybe it's not perfect lol, as my first language is not English there may be some mistakes and I apologize for that.
Tumblr media
Warren Rojas: Well, we'd crossed paths in the studio before, but we never got around to exchanging ideas. She seemed unsympathetic, you know? The kind that doesn't talk to anyone outside their circle.
Y/N L/N: I swear, I had never seen him until that day.
With The Six returning after the incidents that occurred on their last tour, Teddy Price was desperately looking for some way to improve the band's image on the label and with their public. So the idea of doing a feature with the new rising band had fit like a glove, although Billy didn't like the idea very much he knew that if he wanted that to work he would have to cooperate, so they started to get the project off the ground.
You're the lead singer of the band Eternal, who had the number one song in the country that week, together with your bandmates you reached a consensus that it would be convenient and also interesting for you to participate in this project proposed by Price. So that morning as you drove into the studio your expectations were high as you parked at the record company.
Eddie Roundtree: Y/N arrived excited, and I confess that I was afraid that another Billy would be there to interfere… If you know what I mean.
Karen Sirko: We had expectations of course, but I was trying to stay grounded… I didn't want to get disappointed. But I swear to you, when we started to pick up the pace and start writing the song, I couldn't help but imagine everyone listening to it on the radio.
Billy Dunne: It wasn't easy to accept ideas, let's say… it was difficult to let someone else make decisions about a song that my band was going to play, you know?
Eddie Roundtree: Did he say my band? Fucking guy…
“Alright, can we go from the top?” You ask with the microphone in your hands, waiting for confirmation from the others.
Warren started to count for the beginning of the song and soon after the other instruments joined, as the melody entered your ears, something did not fit with what you had pictured you turned to the rest of the group trying to pinpoint what specifically was bothering you. It was hard for you to contain your grimace when you noticed the discomfort that the thunderous drums caused you, you raise one of your hands to indicate that they stop playing.
“Is there something wrong?” Billy asks impatiently.
“Actually yeah” you answer, approaching the drums. “I don't like how you sound in the song”
“What?” Warren asks, laughing in disbelief at the woman's claim.
“I mean, don’t get me wrong… you’re good but it just doesn’t fit” You say thoughtfully, still watching the drummer. “I feel like this should be a more slow song, calm”
Warren Rojas: I don't think I've ever been so angry in such a short amount of time.
Y/N L/N: I just asked him to smooth out on the beat, but it felt like the end of the world for him.
“Can you smooth out on the beat?” you ask, smiling slightly.
“Are you serious?” Warren inquires, frowning.
Graham Dunne: I don't think I've ever seen him serious like that, Y/N destroyed his sanity. *Laughing*
It was already the fifth time you had played the song, and everything finally seemed to fall into place until once again Rojas changed the beat of the song.
Y/N L/N: He could only be doing this to piss me off.
Again, you raise your hand asking them to stop.
"What now?" Warren says, rolling his eyes.
"You changed the pre chorus" You reply angrily.
"I haven't changed, I just improvise something to improve the song" The curly haired man says, twirling one of the sticks between his fingers.
"Well then, improvise some other time!" you had no idea how you hadn't hit him yet. "Now we are rehearsing what we had agreed"
Eddie Roundtree: To be honest, it was fun to see Warren pissed off.
"I'm glad you want to contribute Warren, but it's not the time" Billy says, almost begging with his eyes for the drummer to let it go.
"Exactly!" You smile cynically at Rojas.
"Alright, we'll do yours" The drummer responds, waiting for you to turn around to continue his phrase. "But yours it's not quite enough, it isn't perfect… You're always a second too slow in the entrance of the song, so we won't make it anyway!"
"What?" Disgusted, you turn to him. "That's not true! You're a second too fast."
"Impossible, I have perfect timing" Warren responds, laughing at the assumption that he mistimed the song.
"Fuck, you're impossible!" Annoyed you say turning away from him before you lose your mind
Warren Rojas: There was no way I was a second fast.
Y/N L/N: To be honest with you, when I got home that day I practiced the song's entrance until I couldn't take it anymore.
"Alright that's enough, we're wasting valuable rehearsal time!" Karen said, Trying to get the attention of the chaotic duo.
"Well tell that to Mrs Perfection, over there" The drummer says, smiling from the corner of his mouth.
You spent more time improving and practicing the song, the music was taking shape and staying in a way that most were enjoying.
Warren Rojas: I fucking hated that song, You can barely hear the drums.
Y/N L/N: If I liked the song? I think it's one of my favorites.
When everyone was already preparing to leave the studio, Warren walks towards you before you can leave. He stops in front of you, Like he was trying to intimidate you.
"Can I help you with something?" You asked, crossing your arms and glaring at the drummer.
"Actually yes" he says, moving closer to you "I hate to make unnecessary fuss, but it seems like you just have a thing for me."
"A thing for you?" You question, laughing at the situation. "I'm sorry drummer but I don't even remember your name…"
Warren Rojas: What can I say, she caught me off guard on this one.
Y/N L/N: *chuckled* I knew his name, including his last name. But I sure as hell wasn't going to let him know that.
….
Graham Dunne: The song was a hit, it was literally everywhere.
Karen Sirko: I think my hunches were right.
Billy Dunne: We were back, and with one of the most heard songs in the country.
Warren Rojas: Good part is we had a hit, bad part is so did she… And that means she would be with us on shows, interviews, photo shoots. I just couldn't get rid of her.
Eddie Roundtree: *laughing* Warren seemed obsessed, every time it was something about Y/N coming out of his mouth.
Y/N L/N: I couldn't stand his presence, he just pissed me off… a lot!
On the way to the radio station where you were going to be interviewed that afternoon, you listened to your music on the radio with the volume blaring. You were happily singing making your way to the entrance with Karen, until you noticed the drummer leaning against the wall outside the venue smoking something, beside him Eddie was reading a newspaper.
You sighed, before approaching the pair of friends.
"Hi Eddie, you good?" You ask, smiling at the blonde who wraps you up in a quick hug.
"I'm alright, you?" He responds, pulling out of the hug.
"I'm great" You say, turning to the drummer who pretended not to acknowledge your presence "Drummer." You greet him quickly.
"Did you have to bring her?" Warren complains to the keyboardist. "You know I hate her."
"I'm standing right here, you know" You say, rolling your eyes.
"I know." The curly-haired man says, as if he can't stand the woman's presence anymore.
"You know what, go fuck yourself!" Annoyed you answer him, moving away from the group towards your bandmates.
"Really Warren?" Karen asks, a little irritated by the drummer's attitude. Receiving silence as an answer.
"Everything good there buddy?" Eddie says in a teasing tone, noticing that the drummer's eyes were on the woman he loathed so much.
Warren Rojas: Everything was great until I finally looked at her and noticed that… Her legs were something else. *chuckled*
Eddie Roundtree: When I tell you he got obsessed, I mean it.
Graham Dunne: Even after Daisy joined the band, he couldn't seem to get over the fact that Y/N asked for those drum changes that day.
Y/N L/N: Warren and I were... Well, we're a complicated thing. He hasn't left my back since that day, and I honestly don't know if I wanted him to.
"Good morning everyone" You say upon entering the studio reception, oddly enough you were having a good day.
That was until your eyes met this scene: Warren sitting on the couch with Debbie sitting on his lap, arms around her waist. You swallowed hard, trying not to show how weird it all made you feel. Warren's eyes meet yours for a few seconds before you break eye contact, involuntarily leaving an annoyed look on your face.
You were so focused on that scene that you didn't notice Teddy approaching you, the producer hugs you as a way of greeting and you hug him back.
"So today we had an unforeseen event with your drummer, he ended up getting sick and called saying he couldn't participate in this week's sessions" Teddy says, letting all the joy you initially had that day slip away. It would be much more difficult to record without the drummer, even more so when they rehearse to fit him later.
Price notices your worried expression and immediately comforts you, or at least tries to.
"But don't worry, I've talked to Warren and he's available to help you." Teddy says, with a smile on his face.
Y/N L/N: I'd rather have to deal with the consequences of going a week without a drummer.
Warren Rojas: Worst week of my life.
You take Teddy's arm and when he looks at you, you make a sign that you want to talk to him privately. He follows you to a farther hallway.
"Teddy, I appreciate your generosity in finding someone else to help us, I really do." You say, searching for the words to tell him it was a bad idea to put you and Rojas on the same team.
"But?" He asks, not understanding where the conversation was heading.
"We don't get along at all" You chuckled, hoping he would understand but his response was just a cynical frown.
"So start getting along, you're not in kindergarten anymore" Teddy responds, like it's the easiest thing on the planet to do. "We can't be steps behind, and Warren is a great drummer."
"Great is too strong a word" You say, hoping to get a laugh out of the man, which didn't happen. "Fine, but if he doesn't cooperate…"
"If he doesn't cooperate, you come to me and we'll see it again." Teddy proposes, turning to go back to reception "Now, for God's sake go to work!"
You follow him to the reception again, approaching Warren and Debbie and positioning yourself in front of the tv, Warren looks at you arching his eyebrows waiting for you to get out of there.
"We have work to do." You say, directing your words towards the girl on the drummer's lap. "If you'll excuse us, dear." it was hard to hide the irritation in your voice.
The woman smiles uncomfortably, noting that somehow her presence was bothering you, she gets up off the drummer's lap and heads into a room you genuinely didn't care where it was. Warren doesn't say goodbye to the girl, his eyes still linger on you, which made you genuinely proud to have gotten his attention.
The curly haired man wore a vest and bell-bottoms that made him extremely attractive, and when that thought crossed your mind you started to question yourself about what you really thought of him, what he made you feel.
"Just to be clear, I don't want her in our rehearsals." You say, fixing your hair. "We have a lot of work to do and it wouldn't be nice to have distractions"
"Are you jealous?" He says provocatively, smiling at the sight of her face.
"No, I'm not!" You chuckled, crossing your arms going into the next room.
"Oh, you really are jealous!" The drummer says getting up and following you to the room where you were going to rehearse "Wait, why would you be jealous?"
"I am not jealous drummer"
Warren Rojas: I know when someone is jealous, and she sure was.
Y/N L/N: You're not going to tell him, are you? Okay okay I was jealous.
Interviewer: And how was your experience playing for Y/N's band?
Warren Rojas: She didn't let it be easy, but at the same time spending more time with her was interesting…
"Do you mind going back to the beginning of the chorus?" You ask the guitarist in the band. "Kyle, can you keep up with him?"
"I can keep up with everything you ask for sugar" the bassist Kyle responds, making you uncomfortable with the comment.
Kyle has done this to you before, trying to get too close to you, flirting with you, commenting on your clothes and hair. Things like that made you extremely uncomfortable the last few days, the rest of your bandmates noticed this behavior but decided not to comment.
"Could you stop with that?" Warren says irritably, the bassist has already made several comments of this kind to you.
Warren Rojas: That guy was clearly bothering her, and besides we were there to play, nothing more.
"Excuse me?" The bassist laughs, moving closer to Warren.
"You heard me, leave the girl alone." The drummer gets up, ready to join that fight.
"Alright alright!" You say, drawing attention to you again. "Let's take a five minute break."
Kyle takes the bass off his shoulder, storming out of the room. The other band members slowly left for coffee, leaving you and Rojas alone in the room.
"Wow, you're actually nice to me for once." You say approaching him, smiling at him for the first time.
"I won't make a habit out of it." Warren grins at you, taking in every detail of your face as if he wants to memorize it.
"Oh there's the Warren I know" Rolling your eyes you turn away.
Warren Rojas: So she knew my name.
Y/N L/N: If you saw his eyes when I said his name… *chuckled* It was very cute.
Rojas gets up from the drum bench, going towards a bag that was in the corner of the room, taking a snack from it. After that, he approaches you again, extending the food package, offering you a little.
“What is that? poison?” Arching your eyebrows you say, suspecting Warren's attitude.
“It's literally just lunch" Pretending to be offended he responds, bringing one of his hands to his chest. "That I figured I should kindly share, but if you’re not hungry then…” Pushing the pack away from you he says
“No, wait, I am! thanks, i guess..” You say smiling shyly, taking one of the snacks and eating with him.
Warren Rojas: Maybe it became a habit after that day, being kind to her.
Y/N L/N: I was really scared of getting food poisoning after eating that.
...
Hi, I hope you enjoyed it... If you wanted to ask for something my requests are open, and if you want to ask and don't have any ideas check out my prompt list :) xoxo

camila and billy’s house filled with excitement as more and more people came through the door. the party was supposed to be the band and a couple people from the recording studio. obviously word got around that there was going to be a party at the bands house.
you were sat on the couch with a drink in your hand, sandwiched in between eddie and warren. you were having a nice night. especially since a cute guy kept smiling at you from across the room. warren caught sight of the blush on your cheeks. he followed your gaze and saw the guy that was looking at you. a wave of jealousy washed over him.
the drummer secretly had a crush on you since high school. what he didn’t know is that you did too.
with the drugs and alcohol running through his body, warren felt like he wanted to punch the guy.
“oh c’mon y/n! you could do way better than that guy over there!” warren protested. you looked at the mystery man who was wearing black bel bottoms and a shirt that was probably a size too small for him, which made his happy trail visible.
“whaaaat no he’s cute!!!” you argued.
“y/n. this dude looks like he shops at baby gap.”
“yea his shirt is wayy too small for him.” eddie chimed in.
“see! eddie agrees with me!” warren said.
“eddie agrees with everything you say warren. you two are mean, i’m gonna go talk to him.” you say as you get up from the couch.
“see what i mean! dude doesn’t even have the balls to approach you first! no chivalry! none at all!” warren shouts as you began walking away from him and eddie.
“welp at least you tried man.” eddie says as he takes a drink from his beer.
warren and eddie watch closely you as you go up to tiny shirt man. warren couldn’t help but think about how gorgeous you looked. it upset him that you went to go talk to another guy.
“i don’t know why you don’t just ask her out! i mean she’s so obviously in love with you.” eddie said.
“if she’s so in love with me, why is she talking to another guy right now?”
“because you don’t have the balls to confess your feelings for her!!!” eddie argued. he was tired of seeing his two best friends dance around eachother, and he was getting sick of having to comfort a heartbroken warren every time he had a bad trip.
“i have balls!” warren says loudly. earning a couple of concerning looks from the people around him.
“fine then. prove it.” eddie eggs warren on.
“damn right i’ll prove it!” warren says, still sitting on the couch.
“do it then. right. now.” warrens eyes get larger. he wasn’t planning on confessing his love to you at a crowded party!
“right now…?” warren said nervously.
“i mean… you don’t have to, but if you don’t i guess that means you have no balls.” eddie said, taking another sip from his beer.
“fine then! i’ll be back.” warren downed the last of his drink and promptly got up and made his way over to you and tiny shirt guy. “i’m sorry to interrupt your guys conversation. i’m sure whatever you were saying man was totally interesting, but y/n will be leaving you now.”
and just like that, your conversation with mystery man (whose name you learned was actually nick) was over. warren put his hand on your lower back and guided you through the extremely crowded house.
you couldn’t even be upset with warren because of how good he looked tonight. walking through the house, all you could pay attention to was the feeling of warrens fingers grazing your skin.
“warren what the hell was that?” you asked. he didn’t answer back.
a minute later, you two were standing in the backyard. there was still a lot of people around, but not as much as inside. you two were able to hear each other without having to shout. warren stared at you, he looked like he had something to say, but was scared to say it.
“warren what’s wrong?” you said sincerely. warren was not acting like himself.
“listen, i couldn’t stand seeing you talk to that guy over there.”
“warren, he was nice! his personality didn’t match his style at all! i promise.” you tried to reassure your friend.
“no. it’s not just him. i hate seeing you flirt any guy! i’m about to tell you something extremely serious okay?” warren said as he put his hands on your shoulders.
“i really like you y/n. i really really do. since high school! that’s why i get in a crappy mood whenever we’re at parties like this. you’re a magnet to men! especially me! and i literally cannot take another night seeing desperate men try to flirt with you, because they’re not good enough for you! and i’m pretty drunk right now, and i probably sound so stupid but-”
“warren!” you interrupted his rambling. “you’re jealous aren’t you?!” you laughed.
“maybe a little.” warren shrugged.
“you’re cute when your jealous.” you smiled at him.
suddenly you felt warren pull you against him. warrens lips met yours in a kiss that you’ve been waiting on for what felt like eternity. his hands rested on your cheeks as he pulled apart from the kiss.
“wait… so you do have feelings for me? right?” warren asked.
“yes warren. obviously.”
***
“oh my god i can’t believe it.” eddie said to graham and karen, who joined him on the couch soon after warren left.
the pair turned their heads to where eddie was looking. it was you and warren walking through the crowded house together, his arm around your shoulder, and your head was turned giving him a kiss on his cheek.
“jesus christ finally,” karen said. “i thought we would have to live with their awkward sexual tension for the rest of our lives.” warren sat on the chair next to the couch, and you joined him on his lap.
“you know eddie, i think you’re the one with no balls.”

deserve.
Daisy jones x fem!reader
Warnings: cursing, a little internal homophobia, SOPILERS FOR EP 9, NICKY SLANDER, use of Y/N
A/N: OKAY YEAH I FINALLY WROTE A FIC AND ITS SUPER LONG!! okay bc it's my first fiction be nice also I love daisy jones and the six AND I JUST GOT THE BOOK! Request stuff!!!
How could he leave her like that? Not even just leave her. Period. But leave her in the fucking shower! Epecially When she was like that. What kinda of evil person would you have to be to leave someone there like that when you were basically the whole reason why that happened in the first place, and then you leave! "THAT GOD DAMN ITALIAN ASSHOLE!" That was the first thing that came out of my mouth when daisy told me what happened the night before the band and I, came barging out of are rooms after we all heard daisy screaming profanities at Nicky for leaving her there in the shower. "Y/N, please." The beautiful flower named girl said shushing me down from drawning any more attention to are seat in the crowded tour bus of daisy and the six. "Sorry," I said looking down quietly. "Come on Y/N, you're my closest, longest friend. You're the only one who truly knows me, and that's why you're the only person who knows the full story." "Well, I'm honored." I said with slight sarcasm making the fire head girl in front of me smile. "Anyway, I always got bad energy from Nicky, even when you invited me to the wedding. But, I didn't want to say anything because you were so happy." I said earning a strange look from daisy that turned to a small delighted smile. "I mean daisy, Those men didn't deserve you at all, Jesus-" "Wait Y/N what other men?" "All of them. Nicky, Billy, the guy who stole your beautiful Sublime, whatever song that he turned into a hit that should've been you're hit daisy!" "Y/N-" "You deserve so much better daisy." I said staring directly into her soul so maybe should would understand what I'm trying to say. That beautiful fiery girl scooched closer to me to look further into my soul. "Then who do I deserve Y/N?" Daisy said with that mischievous smirk she usually has on her face. I didn't need to say anything or so I thought. I thought we were on the same page but I guess I was wrong. I kissed her. Because I thought it was the right thing to do, because i thought it would change our relationship, because I thought it would change who I was, and where we were. But it didn't. I was still a woman. A lesbian. In the 70s. And she was still a woman. A straight woman. In the 70s. But, she didn't move. She didn't connect are lips like the puzzle piece that I thought desperately needed to be together. So I pulled away. I got up. "Y/N-" "Daisy, I'm sorry I shouldn't have. I-i- i didn't know what I was thinking, I know you don't feel the same, I'm so stupid!" "Y/N-" "-and- and look where we are I don't know what i thinking!" "Y/N!" "WHAT! NO! I mean no! I'm sorry I need to go." I stayed up all night. I couldn't sleep. I wouldn't sleep. My mind wouldn't allow me. My mind would only focus on her. My mind Could only focus on her. Around midnight I heard a very rushed knock on my hotel door. I was scared to open the door, but I was too tired and delusional to care less, so I just wanted to get this over with and tell who ever it was to fuck off so maybe I could get some sleep. When I opened a fiery red headed girl jumped on me and wrapped her legs around my waist and her arms slung around my neck before I could even get a word in. "Daisy-?" I said questioning why she was knowing full well she didn't love me how I wanted her too. "Daisy, what are you doing here?" I asked again. "Shhhh-" she whispered putting her finger to my lips. "I'm here for you." She said while jumping down from my body. "Wha-" "It's you. I deserve you. You deserve me." She send stepping closer to me almost filling the space between are body's. "I want you." She said sincerely. "Okay, but daisy, the way you acted on the bus, and all the men! I never thought you would feel the same way." "I know, I'm sorry. But you just freaked me out I never thought you would feel that way and in front of the band I just... froze." She said while looking down. "But know that I know it makes a lot of sense." She giggled. "Hmm, I guess I was wrong then." "Yes you were very wrong. You deserve me."
