Lucas Garcete, Epitafio para la luna ( Epitaph for the moon)
Luna sola en el paisaje, no tiene linaje, esa luz no le pertenece.

« You have to have desire. That desire the photographer must feel in the instant he takes the shot. If you don’t have desire, you won’t see what’s there. I’m talking about the desire you feel in that moment when you see something that compels you to take your shot – it could be a woman, or anything. Desire is all around us; there’s a huge, limitless supply of it. It’s important to be true to that desire. To take a photograph that is at all interesting or meaningful, you must become one with that desire when you press the shutter button… » #daidomoriyama https://www.instagram.com/p/CneWNSTKZe6/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

FIVE KEY FEATURES OF JAPAN’S PROVOKE MOVEMENT
BY ANNA SOUTER
In 1968, a group of young photographers published the first issue of the aptly named Provoke journal, an avant-garde magazine of experimental photography. The creators of Provoke included photographers Yutaka Takanashi and Takuma Nakahira, critic Koji Taki, and writer Takahiko Okada. One of the movement’s most famous photographers, Daido Moriyama, joined the group for the second issue. Only three issues of the magazine were ever released, but Provoke was to have a lasting effect on photography, both in Japan and internationally.
