I think some people tend to forget that Dahlia didn't murder Fawles. That man drank the poison himself. She didn't force him- it was his own decision to go through with it. Yes he was obsessed with her (and an absolute creep about it, pedo shit aside) and yes his suicide only happened because of the pact with the necklaces. But that doesn't erase the fact that he was the adult in this situation, was the one who had the ultimate say on following through. The fact they chose to make her first "victim" a blatantly obvious mentally ill man doesn't change this fact.

Daisy & Dahlia, two piggies at Tiny Whiskers Animal Rescue! They are a bonded pair of 2 year old females. Dahlia had an illness when she was younger, prior to coming here, and we were told it gave her a permanent head tilt. This does happen, but we are bringing her in to our vet just to verify she is healthy before listing her and her sister for adoption.

The little buds are 3 weeks old today. I’m 90% sure the three on the left are male and the one on the right here is female. So their names are Aster (far left, he’s got a tiny white spot on his chest), Mallow (orange), Indigo (next to Aster and all black), and Dahlia (far right with her tiny footie sticking out of the box). They’re named after flowers cuz April showers bring May flowers :3
Momma Jill still hates me. Especially because I occasionally “steal” and snuggle her babies.

guys what if i want to make my own apollo justice game.
#i need to write a prequel to aa4 pls pls pls pls pls#okay get this: so phoenix isnt disbarred yet and he doesnt have trucy. hes still taking and winning cases#one day he gets a call from edgeworth and hes all like ''wright i need your assistance'' and hes like what for and edgeworth goes#''ive been given the most ridiculous case and i think youre the only man in law who can take care of it''#so phoenix bikes his ass to the detention center and boom. child behind bars#and phoenix is like ??? hey kid what are doing here. and this kid is the most surly mfer on the planet like you couldnt get-#-a word out of him if you tried. hes kinda giving phoenix the stink eye too but hes just the littlest guy on earth#and phoenix feels bad for him so he tries to get a rundown of the case (maybe edgeworth gave him an autopsy report or smth beforehand)#but get this. the kid still wont speak. he hasnt even moved a muscle. and after some prodding you find out this little dude-#-doesnt speak english (i dont love aa6 but i think apollos tragic backstory can be interesting so we're going w that but taking it seriousl#anyways so maya is like omg this kid is speaking khurainese but hers is kinda broken bc shes not from the mainland and only knows it-#-from like prayers#so you only get bits and pieces of the kids testimony. plus he still doesnt wanna talk bc ''dhurk told me not to talk to you''#so you start following the new lead but you ask too many questions and apollos like oh shit i said too much and wont talk to you anymore#but now you have two leads: khur'ain and a man named ''dhurk'' plus the fact that this is kid might be new to america since-#-he cant speak english but is smack dab in the middle of california. its all v curious and phoenix wants to get to the bottom of it#for the rest of the case i feel like it would go in the direction of ''we dont know exactly whats up w this dhurk guy or where this kid-#-came from but we do get him acquitted and phoenix is able to save him from the dark path he was heading towards'' thus steering apollo-#-in the direction of law and giving him a wayyyy better reason than aa6 gave him <3#i kind of like the interlinked nature of ace attorney's storytelling. like everything leads into smth else and everyone is impacted-#-by another person before they even become properly entangled w each other's lives#like how mia faced dahlia years before she met phoenix but dahlia was the one to connect them#or how trucy gave phoenix the diary paper but she's also the one who ropes apollo into the waa. even before they know they're siblings#or how lamoire left apollo and trucy as children and when they reunite as adults they cant recognise each other but they all find each-#-other anyways#i could go on but i think this could be cool yknow esp bc i think the most interesting thing about apollo's aa6 backstory is his life-#-post dhurk. like where did he stay? was he a foster kid? was he put into the system? how did that affect him? what kind of ppl took him in#i just wanna know how that whole thing would have effected him bc like when yiu think about it how did he even get to america?? his dad's#-considered a terrorist. idk man i think its interesting and apollo and dhurks interactions are one of the only good parts of aa6

Updated the rehoming list. I think it's complete now, I'm just waffling on Storm.
#he does not like me but he's an excellent foster parent. but so is Blueberry. so.#i've got 10 birds left plus the two growouts i'm keeping until at least november (Helianthus and Dahlia)#rehoming him might throw off my gender ratio depending on if i end up rehoming Nova#so i'm waffling. might keep Nova and rehome Storm instead#nobody told me it would be so hard to rehome birds i've had for 2-4 years#this sucks but it's best for the birds and for me. but it sucks

Another of my AA HDM AU snippets, although this one isn't an adaptation of a scene we see in canon and instead the POV of an antagonist Settling
Spoilers for the third Ace Attorney game, particularly case 3-4
"Urg…" Yoshimi groaned. "Could you hurry it up, Melissa? This form is so uncomfortable."
Melissa huffed in mock annoyance, but she couldn't really blame her daemon for his discomfort. She couldn't remember the last time he'd been anything other than a bird. And, much as she'd like to forget it, she was technically a witch. Such an earth-bound form as this went against his nature.
"Alright, I'm ready," she told him, "Let's get this over with."
...
She played the part of Valerie perfectly, she thought — and Yoshimi hadn't needed to worry about anything but being in the right shape and position when the camera went off.
…
As Melissa packed away her camera, Yoshimi sighed with relief as he finally shifted and could stretch his wings.
He was a big, beautiful bird, with striking face markings and an almost fur-like look to his feathers.
"Hm, never seen that one before," she said.
"You like it?" he asked, turning to her and flapping wings that were wider than she was tall.
"It's lovely," she told him, "Maybe you should be something smaller for the trip down, though."
Yoshimi stilled for a beat. Then, he tucked his wings in tight and looked at her with dark, red eyes.
"Melissa… I can't. This is it."
"This?" Melissa asked numbly, "Now? After I—" She cut herself off, dread creeping up her arms in hot prickles.
"I think…" Yoshimi hesitated, like he wanted to lie — but he was her soul, and lying to yourself is foolish. "I think it was… you know …that did it. If I hadn't already taken his form when you… I don't think the plan would've worked." He looked at her pleadingly. "Are you mad?"
"No, I'm not mad." Melissa's voice sounded hollow. "I just— wie settled from murdering someone… What does that mean?"
"That wie're dedicated to self-preserviation?" Yoshimi guessed. "Wie won't know for sure until wie find out what I am."
Melissa nodded, glad to have a plan (other than the plan to develop the photos and present them to the authorities, but that was… too much to think about at the moment).
On their way down the mountain, Yoshimi seemed to have an idea.
"Y'know… this might actually work out in our favor."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, I'm settled, right? So no one will suspect that wie did what wie did — it'd be easy to see I'm not him, even from far away. I'm huge now." By the end of his explanation, he sounded actually excited.
Melissa felt herself start to smile. He was right; maybe this would work out in their favor.

I love the Ace Attorney siblings. They are easily one of the best things in AA and one of the things that make Ace Attorney, well, Ace Attorney.
Siblings that compete in everything they do [Miles and Franziska],
Siblings who jokingly bully each other while caring for each other and have similar traits [Aura and Simon]
Sisters who have a large age gap but will protect each other with their lives [Lana and Ema]
Sisters with a large age gap but they had such a close and good relationship with each other [Mia and Maya]
Half-siblings who don't know they're siblings but have an unbreakable bond [Apollo and Trucy]
A brother willing to risk his life for his little sister who doesn't even know that she's his sister [Nahyuta and Rayfa]
Foster brothers who care about each other saved each other [Nahyuta and Apollo]
A younger brother that can't hate his older brother no matter what he does bc he was practically raised by his older brother [Kristoph and Klavier]
Half-sisters with a large age gap that canonically never met but still have so many similar traits and would probably have a heartwarming relationship if they do meet [Iris and Pearl]
Twin sisters that had an awful relationship but one of them cared for the other until the bitter end [Dahlia and Iris]
Tell me if I missed any from the main series. The sibling relationships are so good and it's kinda refreshing to see them getting along and caring for each other despite having age gaps like 7 years or even 17 years in Iris and Pearl's case.
