Is it okay if you do something where jack is really stressed and ends up getting mad at his toddler?
i didn't love the way this turned out, but i hope you enjoy!! thanks for your request!
***
Jack had been more than overwhelmed lately. The days leading up to his album deadline had been full of ups and downs that were hard to deal with. You did your best to keep your daughter, May, off of his hands on his busy days, but it was a little tougher to work around when your schedule got busy, too. May was an entirely innocent little girl, she was well-behaved, despite her few tantrums.
You were out for lunch with your newly-engaged friend, leaving May with her father for a few hours in the afternoon. May was looking forward to a day with just her father. She had already planned out in her head what she wanted to do- have breakfast, color some pictures, and maybe even make strawberry cupcakes.
The day started off how she expected, she had breakfast with her daddy and it was all just fine until he got a phone call. Jack sat her down on the barstool next to him as he looked at the phone call from Neelam.
“Yo,” Jack answered, playing with his daughter’s ponytail.
“Hey, Jack. I’ve got some... news.”
“Yeah, go ahead.” he furrowed his eyebrows and Neelam hesitated before speaking.
“Jack, one of the songs lost about two minutes of audio during post.”
“How the fuck did that even happen?” Jack groaned and Neelam made a defeated noise.
“The team is doing everything we can, hopefully we can still retrieve, but I wanted to give you the heads up.”
“How am I supposed to redo that? I’m booked nearly every day for the next two weeks and I’m not going to have time to.”
“I know that, Jack, I do, but-”
“Who was in charge?” Jack stood from the counter and left May at the counter with a bowl of Lucky Charms.
“Daddy?”
“May, give me ten minutes, baby, okay? Finish your breakfast and chill for a few.” he said dismissively, walking through the living to turn the TV onto Daniel Tiger.
May huffed at Jack before shoving her cereal bowl aside and hopping down. Her favorite thing in the world was having breakfast with Jack because instead of his usual hefty breakfast, he’d sit down and eat the sugary cereal she loved so much and he’d always give her cereal in a huge bowl she would never finish.
After a few minutes of staring down the hall and waiting for Jack to return, she hopped off the barstool and went into the closet to pull out a few pieces of paper and some markers. Her plan was to lure Jack back for arts and crafts when she showed him a pretty illustration.
Although May got distracted by Daniel Tiger a few times, she made a nice portrait of the kitten she saw walking. It was only two black ovals with four straight lines sticking out, but she was quite proud of herself. She was about to go back and show Jack, but when she heard his loud groan of frustration, she felt bad and decided something nicer would help.
Being the kind soul she was, she carefully drew stick figures of her and Jack at the basketball game they went to a few days ago. That was the last time she got to spend a decent amount of time and she loved every minute of it. As she replayed the few hours of that outing, she decided to draw the moment he put her on his shoulders as confetti was released in celebration.
She skillfully finished the picture with little blots of different colors to represent the confetti before running back down the hall to Jack. May was more than excited to show him and put him in a better mood. Seeing her always worked for him, any time he had a frown on his face, once May gave him a hug, he felt all better. Surely, she thought, having another painting to put on the walls of his office would relieve him of his worries.
With two quick knocks and a happy smile, she opened the door with the piece of paper behind her back and Jack looked up unhappily. The phone he had against his ear was one that she wasn’t allowed to play games on and the look on his face told him she better not ask to use the other one.
“Daddy, don’t be mad anymore. I made-”
“May, didn’t I tell you to sit down?” he grumbled, causing the little girl’s face to falter.
“I will, I just-”
“And what the fuck is all over your shirt?!” he slammed his phone down and walked over to her. “Why’d you have markers without permission? If you got anything on the carpet, I’m going to be mad.”
“Daddy, look!”
“I’ll look at it later.” Jack sighed, turning around to go back to his phone call. “Now, I need you to just go and sit down until your mother gets home.”
“But, Daddy!” she whined, stomping her foot and Jack lost his temper.
“Didn’t I say go sit down?! What’s so hard to understand about that, huh?!”
The yell that came from Jack’s throat scared her enough to make her drop the paper and send it fluttering to the hardwood floor. He’d never spoken to her like that, not even when she broke a vase in the store that she heard you say was expensive.
“Sorry, Daddy.” her little chest puffed out in the beginning of a sob, but Jack didn’t seem to notice.
She ran from his office before he could say anything else to her, straight to the living room to make an attempt at cleaning up her mess. She quickly threw everything into its designated places back into the closet she got it from and closely inspected the carpet for signs of marker.
When there wasn’t any, she sat down on the couch and cried to herself. Any other time, Jack would’ve come out to apologize if he upset her in the slightest, but now she was under her favorite blanket all to herself and trying to figure out why something so simple had gotten her reprimanded so heavily.
You came home a little earlier than you planned to when Neelam sent you a text about some of Jack’s album work going left. Your husband was a perfectionist through and through, which meant that you would have your hands full with having to talk him through his crisis. What you expected the least, though, was your baby girl with only her toes sticking out from beneath a Hello Kitty blanket and the sound of loud sobs.
“May, honey?” you approached her with concern and she looked from under the covers. Your heart immediately sank because you couldn’t remember the last time you’d seen her like this. “Oh, bug, what’s the matter?”
“D-Daddy is so mean, Mama!” you sat next to her on the couch and began to wipe her tears and kiss her cheeks.
May had been navigating emotions, so sometimes when you and Jack had to parent her, it didn’t result in the best adjectives, but given her current state, calling Jack ‘mean’ didn’t seem too misplaced.
“What do you mean, baby?” she continued to cry and clutch onto your skirt. “I believe you, but can you tell Mommy what Daddy did, so she can make it better? Just calm down.”
She took a few deep breaths with you and you began to stroke her hair. “Daddy was... mad because he had his work phone and I tried to make him feel better with a picture of us, but he yelled at me. Said to sit down and he said a bad word, Mama! You said not to say bad words.”
“I did say that, and Daddy shouldn’t have done any of that, right?”
“Mmhmm. It hurt my feelings.”
“I’m sorry, baby. I think Daddy’s just having a bad day today and he’s not handling it the right way.”
“He needs to count to four.”
“He sure does. And I’ll go tell him that, too.”
She nodded before she spoke. “I missed you, Mama.”
“I missed you, too, bug.” you took her into your arms and left a few kisses that made her giggle. “I’ll be right back, okay?”
“Okay, Mommy.”
You sighed as you stood from the couch to go to Jack’s office. You were sure that once you bought his actions to light, he’d be more upset at himself than anything. You didn’t knock before entering Jack’s workspace, which earned you a glare, but nothing further. You moved the papers that had scribbles of verses on them and sat down in their former spot while staring up at Jack.
“My wife just got in and it looks important, so can I call you back?” there was a pause on Jack’s end before he set the phone down and looked at you tiredly. “Neelam call you?”
“Yes, she did and I’m glad she did because we need to talk.”
“About what?” you sighed and licked your lips.
“May. I don’t know when you yelled at her, Jack, but you hurt her feelings bad. She was crying under her blanket.”
“I’ll apologize once I get this all sorted, baby, but this is all crazy.”
“You yelled at her and you’ve never yelled at her, J.”
“I raised my voice.”
“No, she’s heard a raised voice with good reason. My baby is downstairs in tears, Jack. She was just trying to give you this.” you held up the piece of paper that you found on the floor and Jack took it in his hands. Once he deciphered what she drew, you could see the guilt cross his face.
“Fuck.” he breathed out and made eye contact with you. You stood up and got closer to him, enough to make sure he wouldn’t break away from your glance.
“She’s just a little girl who we’ve taught to be kind and respectful and that’s just what she was trying to do. I know you didn’t mean to, but we have to think about how that’s going to affect her if we hold off on owning up to when we’re not. You and May have the healthy relationship that I have always wanted for my babies and it’s your job to keep it up.”
Jack nodded, running his hands through his hair. “I swear I didn’t mean to hurt her feelings, baby. I love May more than anything.”
“I know, baby, it’s why I’m not upset. I just want to make sure you understand.” you rubbed his shoulders and Jack nodded once more. “I love you and I love May. I want my family to be happy, that’s all.”
“I love you, too. I’m going to spend the rest of the day with May, so you just get comfortable, baby. Have a day to yourself.”
“Now that’s what I like to hear.” you kissed his cheek with a smile. “And we’ll talk later on about this all, if you want.”
“Thank you, baby.”
Jack eventually made his way back to the living room where May turned her head at the sound of footsteps. She first assumed it was you until she saw the tall figure. He wasn’t so intimidating with a pout on his face and a pair of Christmas pajama pants, but May still tensed.
“I didn’t make a mess, Daddy.” she whispered and Jack swallowed as his stomach dropped.
“I don’t care about a mess, May. I came to apologize for what happened.” he kneeled in front of her and she raised her eyebrows curiously.
“Apologize?”
“Means to say sorry. I want to say sorry for yelling at you and getting mad when you were just trying to do something nice for me. I shouldn’t have treated you that way, nobody should treat you that way.” he spoke firmly.
“Then why did you?”
“Because, and this is not at all a good reason, but some big stuff happened at work and I’m mad that a very special song I made for you got messed up. Daddy’s not mad at you for even a minute, May, I’m mad at that. Do you understand?”
“You’re mad at work and got mad at me?”
“Yeah. It wasn’t your fault and you weren’t doing anything bad, so I shouldn’t have yelled.” he looked at her in a survey of understanding and she nodded. “I am the sorriest I have ever been, May.”
“I forgive you. I’m sorry you were mad.”
“Thank you for forgiving me.” he kissed her cheek when he pulled her into his lap. “Now, what do you want to do since I'm so sorry?”
“Mmm, can you take me to ride my bike at the park?”
“I’d love to do that.”
“And then get ice cream?”
“Strawberry.”
“Duh.” she giggled and Jack laughed back. “And then can we watch Princess and the Frog?”
“My favorite!”
“No, it’s my favorite, Daddy!” she squealed and Jack stood up happily.
“Can we share?”
“Mmhmm.” she decided, wrapping her arm around his neck as he voyaged up the stairs.
“Let’s put on some real clothes, so we can have a really good day today.”
“Alright!” she scrambled down Jack’s side and he went into her room. “Oh, and Daddy?”
“Hmm?” he hummed back before going to her closet for an outfit.
“You can’t bring your work phone, so you don’t get angry. It’s May only.”
“Only you, May baby." he agreed, causing her to smile wide.

request: stepmom reader and jack spending the day at the park with the kids
(dad!jack x stepmom!reader)
summer days
bloo’s notes: i’m using the same name as my previous dad!jack fic but the two stories do not correlate, i just really loved the name and wanted to use it more. i know the request said with jack also but i was in too deep to change it, i am so sorry. i can always rewrite it.

it was no secret that you and little miss giselle may harlow were best friends. of course since the two of you were best friends, that meant you guys had “y/n and giselle days” pretty often. these little days consisted of just you and giselle and no boys were allowed. when you and giselle first started doing these small dates, it was mainly because you wanted to bond with jack’s daughter, whom later on you would consider your own daughter.
today was a park day, just the two of you. often times you and giselle were the only girls in the house if neelam wasn’t around so sometimes the two of you were desperate to get out of the house.
you were already downstairs packing the picnic basket with all of giselle’s favorite foods and snacks. jack, clay, and urban were sitting around the island talking about god knows what. all of their attention quickly directed to the stairs, which revealed a small, curly headed little girl with the biggest smile on her face.
“y/n!” she squealed and ran toward you with open arms and you gladly reciprocated the excited vibe. the three men were in total awe at how you and giselle interacted with each other.
“hi my little love. how’d you sleep?” you asked while setting her up on the island and fixing a few stray pieces of curls.
“hmm good, i dreamed that we got a doggy” she squealed, jack groaned knowing his daughter would be begging for a dog once again.
she’s been wanting a dog for ages and jack hasn’t gave in yet. you knew he would eventually.
“we are not getting a dog giselle” jack said sternly, truthfully you wanted a dog too.
“you’re such a hater” giselle huffed, making everyone in the room erupt in laughter.
“you’ve been hanging out with uncle urb too much” you said while pinching her chubby cheeks.
you told the little girl of the plans for the day and she was more than excited. she absolutely loved the park, she loved spending time with you, and she loved picnics.
you got giselle ready for the day and she made her way back to where her uncles and dad were sitting.
giselle went up to her uncles and said goodbye, she gave each of them a kiss on the cheek. she then made her way to her dad, he sat her up on his leg.
“bye princess, be good for y/n okay? i love you” jack said while placing a kiss on her forehead. “i will daddy. i love you too”
“you ready love bug?” you asked. giselle nodded her head excitedly, hopping of her dads leg and rushing to hold your hand.
"bye boys, have fun today" you said over your shoulder before making your way out the door. you decided to go to the park right by the house.
you held the picnic basket in one hand and you held on to giselle's hand with your free one. she happily skipped while walking towards the park. you always loved how she had such high energy, she really knew how to light up someone's day.
the two of you made it to the park safely and in a matter of seconds the both of you were bolting towards the swings. you pushed giselle for a few seconds before you hopped into the empty swing next to her. both you and giselle laughing along with each other.
Soon after the little girl made her way to the open grass area and you were quick to follow her.
"I wanna show you my cartwheel's y/n. me and daddy have been practicing" she told you just before she did a cartwheel.
"wow bug. practice has been paying off, you did so well" you cheered on.
after some more playing and running around you could tell giselle was getting a bit tired and maybe even hungry.
"you wanna eat some food before we head back home bug?" you asked the bright red little girl.
"hmm yeah, did you make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches? and did you bring carrots with extra ranch?" the curious girl questioned, you couldn't help but laugh because she was jack's exact twin. the love for ranch and peanut butter they shared with each other was unmatched.
"don't worry i packed all your favorites" you assured giselle.
you and giselle made your way to the picnic tables where the basket of food was sitting. you pulled out some sanitizer and made sure that you both had clean hands before eating. you couldn't help but admire the little girl sitting in front of you. her beautiful, dark, curly hair now a mess from playing so hard. her big, blue eyes a bit more tired than when you two first arrived. she was a spitting image of her dad, her freckles a bit more prominent now from all the exposure to the sun.
"i had fun today y/n" giselle said, breaking you out of your thoughts.
before taking another bite of your carrot you said, "i had fun too, i always have fun when i'm hanging out with my favorite girl"
before you knew it, you and giselle were walking back home, hand in hand.
when you two walked into the door, you were met with urban, jack, and clay sitting on the couch. giselle didn't hesitate to run into her dads arms as you were putting everything in the picnic basket away.
when you made your way to sit with everyone on the couch, you couldn't help but chuckle at the sight in front of you. giselle was laying on jack's chest passed out and jack was dosing off. you placed a gentle kiss on both of their heads before setting a blanket over their bodies. you then sat next to jack, cuddling into his body and holding the two most important people close to you.
clay and urban couldn't help but feel their hearts grow in size at the sight. both of them wishing that one day they would be just as lucky to experience a love just as rich as this.

happy wife, happy life
Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary: your pregnancy mood swings are killing jack, he tried everything to get you happy but everything he tried fails.
requested by a lovely anon!💕
jack had just left the house to go get you some food, you wanted to stay home because this baby was kicking your ass.
jadore went with jack to go get your food so she could get some to.
stinka💕-baby what do you want?
you- i told you, canes.
stinka💕- i know baby, what do you want from canes?
you- oh sorry, can i get a 3 piece please?
stinka💕- of course
you put your phone down and started watching me before you.
not even 10 minutes into the the movie, you in tears, but it was to good to turn off.
jack helped jadore into her seat and placed her food down.
he quickly went to go get you so you can eat.
jack opened the door to seen you crying, eyes still glued to the screen, tissue in one hand and remote in the other.
“baby whats wrong??”
jack made his way over to you and wiped your tears off with his thumb.
“nothing..the movie is so sad though jack..” “baby, lets go eat mmh?” “ok..”
jack helped you up and started helping you make your way down the stairs to jadore and your food.
“whats wrong mommy?”
that made you cry even more, just jadore making sure her mommy was ok made you cry.
jadore noticed you starting to cry once again so she hopped out her set as fast as she could and ran over to hug your leg.
you bet down to pick her up.
“mommys ok sweet girl, lets eat eat?”
“yes!”
you brought jadore back to her seat and your both started eating.
“mm jack this is so good, want some?”
jack walked over a took a huge bit of your food and you just looked at him.
“really jack? i dont even want it anymore.” “baby finish your food!” “no! i dont want it anymore.”
you got up and picked up your phone and started walking back upstairs to watch your movie.
a few minutes later jack walked into the room with the word sorry written on his forehead that looked like it was written by a three year old.
because it was.
“read my forehead babe.”
you looked at his forehead and immediately giggled.
“really? i hope thats washable.”
“it is mamas, now do you forgive me?”
“yes baby boy i forgive you.”
jack had the biggest grin on his face as he walked over to you.
he stood on the side of the bed where you were, arms open.
you quickly got up to hug him.
“jack..”
“yes ma”
“i love you.”
“i love you more baby, more then anything in this fucking world.”
jack leaned down to kiss you and you quickly kissed him back.
jack started rubbing on your stomach, bending down to talk to her and kiss her.
jack planted 3 kisses on you before opening his mouth.
“hi baby, mommy and daddy cant wait to meet you, you’re going to be so spoiled by everybody, i love you so much. you have an amazing mom, sister, and uncles.” jack planted a few more kisses over your stomach before looking up to fine you once again crying.
“babe.”
“im sorry! that was just so sweet!”
jack chuckled and pressed play on your movie.
every once in awhile, sad scenes would come up making you cry but jack would always calm you down.
until the movie ended.
you were right expecting the most happiest ending ever.
but it wasn’t, in fact it was the saddest ending you genuinely ever seen.
and you wouldn’t stop crying, lord knows it was just the baby but jack knew it was hormones and the only way for you to stop crying like this would be for you to go to sleep.
“baby how about you go to sleep.”
you shook your head no then got up and went to the bathroom.
“wheres jadore?”
“taking a nap mamas why?” jack got up and made his way to the doorframe of the bathroom.
“nothing, i was just checking.”
you reached for the shower handle losing your balance but jack was quick to catch you.
“unt unt, mamas go lay down, you can shower later fuck that.”
“jack! i wanna shower now!” “no ‘cause you almost bussed your fucking ass, go to the bedroom.”
jack pointed to the room implying for you to go there.
you simply huffed and rolled your eyes.
at this point, you simply wanted to take your shower and relax, but no.
‘just because i was about to fall doesn’t mean im not capable of taking a fucking shower.’
you thought to yourself as jack finally walked into the bedroom to join you on the bed.
“ma.”
you simply looked at him before pulling out your computer.
jack reached over and took the computer out of your lap and closed it, placing it on his side of the bed.
you quickly pulled on his earlobe.
your nails pressing together slightly as jack whined in pain.
“give me my fucking computer jackman thomas.”
“yes ma’am.”
as soon as you let jack go he reached to grab your computer rubbing his ear in pain.
you took a look at jack to realize he was pouting and rubbing his ear.
“aww come here stinka.”
you pulled jack into your chest as he fake cried.
“jack baby im sorry.”
“you almost killed me!”
“dont you think thats a bit dramatic?”
you moved jack curls out the way exposing that huge forehead and kissed forehead before gently placing them back.
“jack your forehead is huge, i hope sarija doesn’t have a forehead like that, i was so happy when jadore didn’t”
“THATS UNNECESSARY! you know what, i hope they dont have your high. since you know, your 5’5 on a good day.”
jack leaned up to whisper in your ear “its never a good day.”
you push his head off your chest while giggling and jack was full out belly laughing.
“are you finally happy ma? youve been crying all day.”
you quickly pouted.
“im kidding babe.”
jack placed a kiss on your lips and you quickly smiled.
“im going take my shower jack.”
“take it in the morning, lets go to sleep.”
“fine.”
you laid down once again slightly agitated, jack reached over to rub your bump and of course you let him but you let out a angry huff
jack realized you were once again upset but decided to let you sleep and not speak on it.
‘im going to have to deal with this the whole rest of this pregnancy’ jack thought as he kissed your cheek rubbing your belly.

Divorce and takeout menus:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You had spent the first half of your day getting the house ready for Jack to come home. You had set out a colorful tablecloth on your kitchen table, got paper plates you knew the girls would like, and bought him his usual “coming home” flowers.
He had been in Canada the last week tending to business opportunities.
When it was finally time you picked Hazel and Jade up from their separate schools, noticing as soon as she got in the car that Hazel seemed upset about something.
She was a lot like her dad in every aspect. This meant, when something was bothering her she shut down, got quiet, and waited for someone to notice. Her energy was sad, and you knew she was on the verge of crying at any given moment.
“Hazey, baby? How did your day go?”
She opened her mouth to speak but tears came first.
“Where is Daddy? Did he come home yet?”
You checked the time. “He should be at home sweetheart!” You looked at her through the rearview mirror, noticing she was crying harder now.
“Why cry?” Jade reached over her car seat to wipe Hazel's face but sighed when she couldn’t reach.
“I just miss daddy!” She wiped her face as she continued to cry. You reached back, handing her your cell phone.
“Call him baby! He just got home and he’s probably still awake waiting for you two.”
Hazel sniffled FaceTiming her dad on the way home.
“Hi, booger!” Jack teased before seeing her face. “Oh no! Hazey, what’s wrong?”
“I missed you! A lot!” Her bottom lip quivered as she tried to gain control of herself.
“Baby girl, I missed you too! I’m home now! I got you and your sister gifts and when you get here I’ll show you all the pictures Uncle Urb took!” He was staring at his eldest daughter's expression that didn’t change much.
“I don’t care about the stuff. I just wanna see you. You’re my favorite person Daddy!” She was crying again and you were growing more and more worried, wondering what had happened at school that made her so emotional.
Unlike Jade, Hazel usually didn’t cry much. Jade started crying the moment Hazel's eyes filled with tears.
“How far are you guys?”
“We are about ten minutes away” you hollered so he could hear you.
“Don’t go okay? Stay on the phone until we get home?” Hazel looked at her dad through the FaceTime call with pleading eyes.
“Okay Hazey” he hummed and continued to make conversation as you pulled into the driveway.
When you got to the house, he waited outside as you opened the door for Hazel to greet him, before unbuckling Jade and helping her out of the car.
“Daddy!” Jade ran over and hugged his leg before he picked her up, Hazel still attached to him.
Jack looked at you with a face full of confusion and you shrugged, not having a clear answer for him.
Hazel hadn’t left his side since she got home, she followed him to the bathroom and waited outside of the door, he moved and she was his shadow.
You silently motioned at Jack, urging him to push her to explain.
“Hazel, sweetheart? What happened at school today that made you so sad?” Jack asked once Jade was fully distracted by a toy.
“My friend Ashley told me her daddy doesn’t live with them anymore and that he doesn’t ever want to again” she sniffled, her lip quivering as she told him the story.
“Did that make you worried that I wasn’t coming home?” His eyes softened listening to her explain.
She nodded before continuing to explain.
“Ashley said her daddy doesn’t love her anymore because he told her that.” Hazel started heavy breathing, and Jack knew she wanted to cry again. He leaned over and held her, giving her the biggest hug he could as she sobbed into his chest.
You were in the kitchen, opening the cabinets to look for dinner while overhearing the conversation and wanting to burst into tears yourself. You had known about Ashley's parents getting a divorce, but you didn’t know he had gone “no contact” or that he broke his daughters heart like that.
You knew tonight wasn’t a night for cooking, ordering takeout immediately.
“That would never happen with us Hazey. I love you so much, and I promise I won’t ever stop. You know that right?” He was trying his best not to cry, his lips quivering.
“You’re not going anywhere?” She sniffled.
“Never.”
You walked into the room, sitting beside them.
You and Jack took turns explaining what a divorce was making sure to explain to Hazel that you and Jack weren’t thinking about that at all.
“Daddy just has a busy job which means he’s not here sometimes” you continued to explain.
“But I’ll always come home” he booped her nose, reassuring her and making her giggle.
Jade realized you were still on the couch, climbing up on it “can we eat now?”
Hazel laughed, “Yeah, I’m hungry too.”
You checked your phone, “I have food coming, it looks like they are about 5 minutes away. How about you girls go wash your hands?”
That was usually yours and Jack's signal that you needed to speak to one another without the girls.
He urged them to go and stood up to speak to you.
“I think we handled that pretty good right?” He scratched the back of his neck nervously.
“Yes. But she needs some time with you. I ordered your favorite take out and maybe we can all watch a movie? I think they need an impromptu daddy date.” You looked around the corner to see if they were coming yet.
“You’re so cute. You really think of everything,” he laughed, scrunching his nose at you.
“I know you’re exhausted baby, but I think this will be good for them.“
“I know you are too” he smiled, leaning down to kiss you. “You’ve been here taking care of them all week without me. I agree this will be good for them. I’m not that tired.”
You knew he wasn’t being truthful about that, but admired it.
“I’m their mom!” You giggled shrugging it off, never wanting to make a big deal of anything.
“You know what I mean. I just appreciate you” he kissed you again.
“Did you like your flowers?” You smiled, taking in this private moment for as long as possible. You really did miss him when he was gone.
“You know I love them, I always do. How did I get so lucky? I married such a beautiful and thoughtful woman” he rubbed his hands down your lower back giving your butt a quick squeeze before the girls came giggling down the hall. He pulled his hands back quickly making you giggle.
“What if we had a daddy-daughter date girls? What do you two say?” Jack asked both Hazel and Jade who both jumped up and down excitedly.
You let him take the credit, he more than earned it.
The doorbell rang suddenly and Jack went to get the food, shaking the bag dramatically as the girls got excited.
“My favorite!” Hazel exclaimed grabbing the bag from Jack and running to place it on the table.
“You can thank your mom for that! She’s the one who ordered it” he winked at you, giving you your credit too.

Teach Me: XOXO
series masterlist
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“What do you mean you don’t have a reservation under my name?” Jack asked sternly into the phone. Valentine’s Day was coming up which meant that this was going to be Ariel and his first time celebrating the holiday together. Wanting to make it special he made reservations for a fanciest restaurant in town, booking out the private room so they could have some privacy.
Jack listened as the guy stuttered nervously over the phone. “I’ve checked everywhere, sir. I apologize.” Frustration etched across his face and he ran a hand through his curls roughly. “Fine. So can I just book the private room for 7pm Wednesday please?”
The host cleared their throat nervously, “Well, Mr. Harlow the room is actually booked by another party. I’m so terribly sorry.”
“Are you fucking kidding me?” Jack said, failing to keep his emotions in check.
“Again. I’m so sorry for the inconvenience—“ Not wanting to hear another word from him, Jack hung up the phone and threw it on the couch of the recording studio. Jack couldn’t shake the disappointment. Valentine’s Day was Ariel’s favorite holiday, all he wanted to do was make it special and now he felt like the day was ruined before it even got here.
Jack groaned loudly and placed his head in his hands, trying to figure out what he was going to do for Ariel’s favorite holiday now. Urban, who walked in during the tail end of the call, offered a suggestion. “Dude, why not just have a casual dinner at home? You two are more about the cozy and comfortable than the fancy and formal. Besides, you don’t even like being around people anymore. This would be perfect.”
So that’s what Jack did, as Valentine’s Day rolled around, he dropped Jayla off to spend the night with his parents, which she wasn’t very happy about. Jayla clung to his hand, getting emotional as Jack tried to leave.
“Daddy, can’t I just stay with you and Miss Ariel? I’ll be good, I promise!” Jayla asked, with a small sense of hope in her eyes.
Jack crouched down to her height, gently wiping the tears that were threatening to fall. “Sweetheart, Ariel and I need a little time for just the two of us, but we’ll make it up to you. How about a special day together tomorrow?”
Jayla nodded reluctantly “Okay, but it has to be super special. Candy for breakfast!” Jack could only smile, “Deal. We’ll make tomorrow just as amazing, I promise.” With a reassuring hug, he left Jayla in the care of his parents before rushing back home to get everything set up for tonight.
When he got home he immediately started working on dinner, determined to make it an unforgettable evening despite the restaurant hiccup. As the minutes ticked by, Jack found himself nervously pacing the living room floor awaiting for Ariel’s arrival. While he was nervous he was proud of himself for preparing a home cooked meal that looked edible, adorned with Valentine decorations and flickering candles.
Jack’s heart raced in his chest with each creak in the floorboards. Finally the doorbell rung, his nerves immediately turned to excitement as he welcomed Ariel inside.
“Wow, Jack, this looks amazing!” Ariel exclaimed, her eyes lighting up as she took in the cozy atmosphere and the spread laid out before her. Relief washed over Jack as he watched her appreciate the effort he had put in.
“I’m glad you like it,” he said, a hint of nervousness still lingering in his voice. “I love it.” With a warm smile, Ariel leaned in to give him a tender kiss, expressing her thanks.
Jack reciprocated the affection, but as they pulled away, a playful grin spread across Ariel's face. “Oops, looks like I left a little something behind,” she chuckled, noticing a faint lipstick mark on Jack’s lips.
Jack’s cheeks flushed with embarrassment before he joined in her laughter. “Well, I guess I’ll wear it as a badge of honor,” he joked, gently wiping away the lipstick.
As they settled onto the coach after having dinner enjoying being in each other’s arms. “Everything tonight was perfect!” Ariel sighed happily snuggling closer to Jack. “This is exactly what I wanted – a quiet evening with you.” Jack smiled and pressed a kiss to her forehead, happy that the night was going well.
“Remember last Valentine’s Day when we weren’t officially a couple?” Ariel grinned, her eyes sparkling with the memory.
Jack chuckled, “How could I forget? I was nervously trying to figure out how to express my feelings without sounding like a creep for liking my daughter's teacher.” They both laughed, recalling the playful banter and subtle hints.
Now, a year later, those memories were tinged with a profound warmth. “Who would’ve thought we’d be here now?” Jack mused, his gaze filled with affection. Ariel leaned in, a gentle smile on her face, “I had a good feeling about it. Look at us, celebrating Valentine’s Day as a couple, and I couldn’t be happier.”
They had agreed earlier that month not to exchange any gifts but they both couldn’t help themselves. With a sheepish smile, Jack reached inside the side table drawer and pulled out a cheesy card adored with hearts. “You’re the missing piece to my puzzle,” it read, with her favorite lollipop attached to it.
“I know we said no gifts, but I couldn’t resist. Happy Valentine’s Day!”
Ariel laughed, equally guilty, “Funny, I got you something too.” She presented him a card that read “Our love is like these candies – sweet, irresistible, and a little nutty,” featuring Jack’s favorite chocolates.
They both couldn’t help but laugh at realizing the joy in breaking their own pact. “I guess we both failed at keeping it gift-free,” Jack teased, and Ariel grinned. “Well I’m not complaining one bit!” Ariel said as she ripped open her candy.
As the night continued Ariel couldn’t help but wish Jayla was there with them to celebrate. They had grown closer this past year and it felt weird not having Jayla with them.
She gently broached the subject with Jack, “Do you think we could pick up Jayla and spend the rest of the night as a family?”
Jack’s eyes softened as he realized the significance of the request. “Absolutely,” he replied, touched by her thoughtfulness. They made their way to his parents place, and the joy on the little girl’s face when she saw Ariel spoke volumes. The trio embraced the rest of the night with warmth, creating cherished memories that extended beyond the romantic, making it a truly special Valentine’s Day.

“I want dada”
summary: The one where Grace wakes Jack up for cuddles
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"mommy" you heard a tiny voice say, making you open your eyes. Grace was standing at the end of your bed with Carrot in her hands, clearly just woken up.
"mm" you mumbled and carefully sat up in bed. You had just closed your eyes hoping to fall back asleep after getting up to feed Nathaniel. He had woken up 2 hours ago and you quickly took him out to the living room so Jack wouldn’t wake up. Nathaniel fell back asleep after 40 minutes but it was impossible for you to fall back asleep directly. It was now 6 am.
“I want water” she mumbled, followed by a yawn. You picked her up to your bed and she laid next to jack.
“Okay bubs, stay here, but don’t wake daddy up okay?” You got up from bed. It was still very early so you hoped she would fall back asleep, and that she wouldn’t wake Jack up. You slept late last night and you wanted him to get more sleep. You received tired nods from her as she snuggled under the covers.
You quickly went to the kitchen and filled Grace’s cup with water before returning. Just as you walked into the room you saw that Grace was now lying on top of Jack tracing figures on his chest, but he was thankfully still sleeping.
“Come here Grace” you whispered and showed her the cup. But she only shook her head and snuggled closer to her father. Apparently not wanting water anymore, you should’ve known it was just an excuse. You put it down and climbed into bed.
“Come cuddle with me instead, don’t wake dada up” You tried once more but Grace gave you a grumpy look "I want dada" she whined and shook her head again. Her hair tickled Jack, resulting in him waking up and you letting out a deep sigh.
“It’s fine” Jack said, opening one eye to look at you. He hugged her tighter “try to sleep more” he said to the both of you. "I want cuddles" she grumpily mumbled, before closing her eyes and put her arms around Jack cuddling him.
Jack kissed her on top of her head and whispered "I love you" before he turned around and looked at you. “How long have you been awake?” he asked
“2 hours” you muttered
“She’s been awake for two hours? She still seems sleepy” he questioned with his eyebrows furrowed
“No, your other child woke me up” you answered grumpily, receiving a chuckle from him
“My other child huh?” He laughed and wrapped his free arm around you “try to get some sleep then” he said and kissed you on the top of your head as you snuggled closer to him and the three of you fell asleep again.

I Got You
where you and jack bring home your newborn daughter home for the first time.
hope y'all enjoy!!
***
“Alright, ladies, are we ready?” Jack clapped his hands, making both you and your daughter’s eyes widen. “Sorry! Sorry, sorry, sorry.”
“It’s okay.” you chuckled breathily, slipping your finger in Eliza’s hand to feel her clutch it. “Are you ready to come home with Mama and Daddy, huh?”
Eliza made a low gargling sound and you left a soft kiss on her forehead. Jack set down your bags and approached the bed where you were still sitting up against the headboard, dressed in a pair of his own sweatpants and an oversized shirt.
You hummed and leaned your head against his shoulder when he sat next to you. “Is it too soon to say that you-”
“Yes, it absolutely is.” you cut him off quickly before he could even think about saying something that would remind you of the twelve hours of labor you went through the day before. “It is entirely too soon for you to even look at me like you want to put me through anything that even resembles what I just went through again, really.”
Jack rolled his eyes tenderly before kissing the top of your head. “Am I allowed to say that you did such a wonderful job at bringing our beautiful baby girl into this world?”
With a loving glance down Eliza, you kissed her forehead and nodded. “I think that’s allowed.”
“I could tell you that all day, Y/N.”
You turned your head to Jack and met his watery eyes with a smile. “I love you, J.”
“I love you, too.” he kissed you quickly before standing up with a deep breath. “I’m going to pull the car around, so we can go home. You’re ready to go home, right?”
“Absolutely.” you sighed, shaking your head at the mere thought of being in your own bed again.
After Jack walked out, Eliza began to fuss, moving her hands and feet the best she could at two days old. You immediately cooed and nosed at her cheek when you drew her close. The soft whimpers that bubbled out of her mouth started to wean as you spoke softly to her.
“Oh, Daddy’s going to be right back, Liza.” you whispered, stroking her softly. “We’re going to take you home, so you can see your new home. You’re going to see your new room. We can’t wait to take you home, pretty girl.”
Eliza didn’t whine anymore, instead she made small twitchy movements as she blinked back to sleep. You made sure to keep a safe cradle on her. You remained like that until Jack returned with the car seat in hand.
“She’s sleeping again.” you giggled, sitting up to adjust her pink beanie that matched the pink New Balance onesie and booties that Jack specifically requested his baby girl came home in.
“Sleeping beauty.” he murmured fondly and you hummed in agreement before standing up to place her in the car seat.
Jack stood near you protectively and was sure to help you up the minute you started to stand. “Okay, let’s do this.”
On your way out, all the nurses gave their congratulations once again and you and Jack thanked them for their help in a safe delivery. They snapped a few pictures that captured the moments before the panic of being new parents set in.
“How do I get the car seat in?”
“Jack, be careful.” you said from beside him while he tried to get the car seat to snap into place. “Maybe we should get help from someone inside.”
“It’s just a car seat, Y/N.” he grumbled out, still shifting the car seat every which way.
“I know, but-” you inhaled sharply when Jack finally snapped the car seat into place and Eliza flinched. “Please be careful.”
You and Jack watched her silently fall back into sleep and you scooted closer to the seat, placing your forearm over her feet. Jack nodded to himself and kissed Eliza’s forehead before he did the same to your own. “She’s good. I got her.”
You nodded and Jack sighed to himself before shutting the door as soft as he could. You took a deep breath of your own and shut your eyes against the car seat. They remained closed until you could feel Jack’s eyes on you.
“What?” you mumbled, peeking one eye open to see his cryptic smile.
“You hungry?”
It wasn’t more than ten minutes later that you had devoured your favorite fast-food meal in the backseat next to your daughter who opened her eyes when you were picking your last fry out of the bag at the same time Eliza you were making your way up your driveway.
“Hey, sweet girl. Did you know we’re home?” you cooed, feeling antsy to pick her up and bring her into the house.
When she opened her mouth, you expected her to make a little noise, but neither you or Jack were prepared for the loud wail that came from them. You jumped back from your hands on her seatbelt and Jack stumbled out of the car and turned around with a fearful look.
“What happened?”
“Nothing! I-I think she’s hungry.” you said quickly, scrambling to unbuckle her from the seat. “Can you just unlock the door?”
Your husband complied and had the door open and awaiting the two of you. You rushed into the house as carefully as you could with Eliza in your arms, crying loudly. Jack shut the door and turned on the lights as you settled on the living room couch and shrugged out of your top.
Eliza calmed down when you bought her closer to your chest to nurse her. The breath caught in your throat was released in a gasp at the feeling of it. It took a few seconds to untense before you were able to look down and see her eyes glaze over in contentment.
“God, this was a lot easier at the hospital.” you breathed out when Jack got closer, sitting next to you. “It’s like all the nurses knew when she was even thinking about crying like that.”
“You didn’t miss a beat, Y/N.” Jack reassured you, and you swallowed before laying your head on his shoulder. Jack placed an arm around your shoulders and stroked the top of Eliza’s head.
“Can you believe she was able to fit in here, like, three days ago?” you couldn’t help but laugh and Jack shook his head in disbelief.
“It’s insane. This whole thing, I mean. It feels like so much more time has passed, though.”
“Yeah.” you agreed, slowly tugging her off of you when milk began to dribble down her chin. “Do you want to burp her?”
“Hell, yeah.”
Without a second thought, Jack took his shirt off and sat back against the chair. At first, you were slightly confused, but remembered how eager he was to do skin to skin. He’d been hesitant to take his shirt off with the traffic of your hospital room, so it made sense that his shirt went flying over the back of the couch. Not that you minded, of course.
You were a little too busy staring to notice that Jack was even reaching out for Eliza. “Baby, don’t stare at me like that unless you want to be put through that again.” you glared at him as you handed your daughter over. “Your words, not mine. I’m looking out for you.”
Carefully, Jack wrangled Eliza out of her onesie and laid her against his chest. Eliza immediately cozied into her father, rooting around into the crook of his neck and making small gargling noises. You looked on while Jack burped her carefully, seeming to be overwhelmed by it all.
“She smells so good.” he murmured, craning his neck to look at her. “And she’s so pretty. Just like her mama. And I love her so much.”
“So much.” you couldn’t help but add and it wasn’t a moment later that Eliza let out a quiet burp.
You and Jack both gasped and shared a look of pure shock and adoration. Never would you have predicted you would be so impressed by someone burping, but of course, you were.
“Oh, good girl!” you cooed, beaming at the little girl whose eyes were big and bright.
Jack pulled her away from his chest and supported her body, so that her little legs were up against his chest and her head was cradled in his large hands. He looked at her tearfully, the same way he did when he held her for the first time.
“We can’t even blink anymore.” Jack murmured, shaking his head in pure disbelief. “I mean, literally not even three days ago, she was just a little kicker in your stomach.”
“Every day she’s going to just… keep changing and growing into a new person.”
“A bigger person who isn’t gonna be able to fit in Daddy’s hands anymore.” he pouted, brushing his nose against hers sadly. “I’m going to have to use these hands to strangle whoever tries to mess with her.”
Jack turned his head to search for your giggle that usually followed his immature jokes, but you were instead just blinking sleepily at Eliza. Jack kissed the top of your head and returned a sleepy Eliza to his chest.
“Are you ready to go lay down, baby?”
“No, we just got home. We should settle in a little more first.”
“I can take care of things for a little bit while you sleep, Mama.” he used your newly coined nickname and you smiled before standing up, kissing both of them tenderly.
“Thank you.”
“Say, sleep tight, Mama.” Jack cooed to Eliza, moving her fist to mimic a wave.
You smiled on the way to your room, your drowsy state intensifying with each step to your room. A groan left your lips the second you kicked off your shoes and rolled into bed, tucking yourself under the covers. After hours of labor and delivery and your very first night with Eliza in the hospital- trying to perfect everything all at once, proved to be overwhelming. While you loved all the time you spent as a mother so far, and loved your newborn beyond comprehension, closing your eyes and just letting your body melt into your bed felt amazing.
That feeling of utter bliss didn’t last long, however, not when after forty-five minutes, you heard the most deafening wail from across the hall. You shot up quickly and rushed into the room, where Jack was trying to push a pacifier in Eliza’s mouth while also pacing.
“What happened?” you breathed out, your eyes widening in fear, but Jack just turned around just as helpless as you were.
“I don’t know. I was just, I swear, I was literally just rocking her while she slept and she just started screeching!” Jack whisper-yelled while still rocking the small child.
“Did you check her diaper?” you asked, pinching your eyes shut when she wailed even louder after being taken out of Jack’s arms. “Oh, baby, what’s wrong?”
“No, her diaper is fine.” he huffed, as you rocked her gently, stroking her hair as she turned red in the face. “I didn’t do anything, baby.”
“I know, Jack. I think she’s just fussy.”
You and Jack stood there hopelessly, you softly bouncing her in your arms and Jack telling her sweet-nothings, but none of it mattered to the baby, obviously. She just seemed to grow more frustrated and persistent in her fit until you finally threw your head back against Jack’s chest.
“I know, baby.” he told you, kissing the top of your head and rubbing your side. “Let me see her.”
With slight hesitation, you handed her off to Jack who cradled her. “Try singing to her.”
“What song should I do? My go-to?”
“Please don’t sing to her about ass.” you mumbled, letting out an airy laugh that you quite needed at the moment.
“Alright, how about Twinkle, Twinkle?” Jack suggested, getting close to a still fussy Eliza. Her raspy screams had ceased, but her hands were still balled against her chest as she whined with her eyes pinched. “Twinkle, twinkle, little star. How I wonder what you are! Up above the world so high, like a diamond in the-”
At Jack’s raise in pitch, Eliza startled open and her big, wet eyes displayed nothing but unpleasant surprise. There was a moment of panic that you and Jack both shared before she started to wail again.
“No, no, no, Liza.” Jack begged, holding her outwards with her feet against his chest. “Come on, tell Daddy what’s wrong. Who did it?”
She let out quick pants of air and you stood beside Jack to stroke her cheek. “It’s alright, look, it’s just us. Did Daddy scare you? I don’t know why Mama told him to sing.”
You carefully bought her back into your hold and she kept blinking at the two of you like she was skeptical. “It’s a lot for you, isn’t it, baby girl? We were hanging out for nine months and didn’t know anything about each other and now you’re in the hands of people who don’t know what the hell they’re doing.”
You and Jack both laughed and Eliza seemed to grow more comfortable. “But it’s okay. Because we love you and we’re going to take care of you, Eliza. Even if you don’t know what that means yet, we love you so much.”
“My baby girl.” Jack murmured after you, less talking to soothe her and more to remind himself just how damn lucky he’d gotten.
He was standing in a nursery that he spent months preparing with you, in the home that he filled with love with you, and now staring at such a creature he had no idea his love was able to create. Jack was staring at his baby girl, so in love with the woman that he could only hope his daughter turned out to be like.
In just a few minutes, in a few words, she had stopped crying. And you and Jack couldn’t be quite sure whether she did stopped crying because she felt bad or because she honestly could open her eyes and see how loved she was.
“Do you think she knows we don’t know what the hell we’re doing?” Jack asked a few hours later as the two of you sat in your sweats with a box of pizza in between you and your baby girl fast asleep in her crib before you.
“She’s a baby, I don’t think she knows much yet.”
“I’m being serious, Y/N.” Jack said, nudging your foot with his own.
“A part of me hopes she doesn’t, but a part of me hopes she does, you know? I just want her to know that every mistake I make is because I don’t have any fucking clue how to do this.” you laughed, shaking your head tearfully. “What if I fuck this up?”
“C’mere.” Jack sighed, and you crawled into his lap with tears cascading down your face, cuddling into his warmth and absorbing each kiss he left where he could reach. “There’s no ‘I’ in this, Y/N. We made this baby and we love this baby and we are going to fuck up, but we have each other, we have a family.”
You smiled wide when he squeezed your shoulder at that. “A family.”
“A fucking family, Mama, that’s crazy.” he laughed, shaking his head while you moved your head up against his chest to look at him. “And we got each other, we got this. No doubt about it. That’s the promise I made to you the first time I laid eyes on you, Y/N, that I got you.”
“I got you, too, Jack.” you whispered solemnly, kissing his wrist when he cupped your cheek after wiping your tears. “I love you.”
“Love you more.” he smiled, wrapping both arms around you in a hug.
While the two of you cuddled on Eliza’s small nursery carpet, you heard a coo from the crib and looked to your daughter expectantly. “Hi, sweet girl.”
“She’s as nosy as her mama.” Jack laughed as you scooped her out of the crib.
“What happened to pretty as her mama?” you looked at Jack who took a bite of pizza before smirking.
“Yeah, that, too.”

Got a little request 🤭 so jack has always been the fun parent while y/n is the bad one and puts her foot down Intill one day jack comes home and sees one of the little ones disrespect y/n there mom by maybe hitting her or screaming and y/n had an argument before that jack needs to put his foot down at times and not let things slide Intill he witness and saw what he saw his kid was doing to his mom jack was livid and let’s say the bad cop definitely came out of him
Good/Bad Parent
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jack had always been the fun parent, always bringing laughter into their household, while Y/N was the one enforcing discipline and rules.
Parenting style was always a topic in their arguments, either because Y/N was too strict, or Jack was too relaxed. But they always found a way to meet in the middle.
One night, Jack came home after a long recording studio session and wanting nothing more than to relax in peace and quiet. To his surprise, their home was more like a chaotic scene.
Aitana was in the midst if a tantrum, screaming and hitting Y/N in frustration, as Y/N attempted to deescalate the situation, but it was clear it had escalated beyond her control.
Jack quickly moved Y/N to the side.
“Aitana! We don’t hit or scream at each other in this household!” Jack said in a calm but authoritative voice.
“But daddy!” she whined.
“I don’t wanna hear it. You’re grounded. Apologize now to your mom and go to your room” he said sternly.
Aitana had never seen Jack angry and was taken back. She looked at him with sad eyes as tears started streaming from her face, then turned to Y/N.
“I’m sorry mommy” she softly said.
Then she quietly went to her bedroom.
“Hey, are you ok?” he turned to Y/N.
Y/N nodded.
“I’m sorry. I thought you were exaggerating when you said I was too relaxed. You were right. I see it now”
“It’s ok Jack”
“No, it’s not ok. Clearly, I would’ve known If I was here more. Supporting you”
“You are supporting me. You provide for all of us”
“But what kind of parent am I, if I’m not doing my job as a parent?”
Y/n went quiet.
“You don’t have to do this alone. That’s what I’m here for” he cupped her cheek.
“Thanks Jack”
Jack gave her a faint smile.
“Don’t mention it” he kissed her. “Wanna go to bed?”
“Yeah”
After changing into comfier clothes, they started getting into bed, when they heard small footsteps by the bedroom hall.
“Mommy? Daddy?”
“Yes Aitana?” Jack responds.
“Can I come in?”
“Yeah”
Aitana quietly enters their room.
“Is there something you want to say to your mom?”
She nods and turns to Y/N.
“I’m sorry mommy” she said before hugging Y/N tightly and burying her face in her chest.
“It’s ok baby. I forgive you” she kissed the top of her head. “Just promise you won’t do that again”
“I promise”
“Good girl. Now it’s time to go to bed. Say goodnight to mommy” he smiled at her.
“Goodnight mommy” she hugged Y/N again. “Love you”
“I love you sweetie” she kissed her cheek.
Jack took her hand and they walked to her bedroom.

daddy daughter time
Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary: you and sarija dont feel to good so jack takes jadore out to a daddy daughter date.
“jack are you sure yall going to be okay on your own?”
“yes baby, i have extra snacks, drinks, toys, blankets, and stuff animals.”
“okay babe, if you need anything call me uhm if anything happens come straight ho-“
“baby you worry too much, i got this please calm down.”
“fine.. i love you.” “i love you more and take your medicine and make sure sarija takes it to babe.”
“i definitely know how to take care of us, bye babe.”
jack walked out the room after kissing your forehead and kissing sarija’s cheek.
“you ready to go jadore?” “yes daddy!” “ok, now when we go you have to listen to daddy ok? if i tell you no that means no or you can get hurt, understand sweet girl?”
“yes daddy!”
“ok now you remember the rules right?” “yup” “alright lets go baby.”
jack took jadore by the hand and started bringing her to the car.
jack placed her into the carseat and started making his way to the trunk to place the rest of her things.
you just decided to take a nap while you could being as though sarija was sleeping and you knew she would be up soon.
jack had just pulled out of the driveway and jadore was asking to listen to his music.
you hated when sarija or jadore listened to his music because it was ‘to inappropriate’ for them at there age.
jack being the chiller parent would let them whenever you weren’t around.
jack put on his playlist of his music and the first song that cane on was I wanna see some ass.
jack usually wouldn’t mind them listening but he felt you would find out because jadore had a habit of mumbling whatever song was in her mind.
jack switch the song to sundown knowing it was one of her favorites.
jack and jadore got to the park and jadore played while jack pushed her on the swings, caught her at the end of the slide and watched over her.
jadore played for 30 minutes before she ran to jack saying she was hungry.
jack got her a snack and put her back into the car so they could go to the restaurant.
“daddy!!” “yes baby?” “can i listen to your music again?” “not right now baby.”
jadore let out a huff and kicked her feet while jack looked at her in his rearview mirror.
“jadore tovi, stop.”
jadore looked at jack and started to cry while kicking her feet.
jack sighed and went to call you.
sarija had woken up around 10 minutes ago so you were feeding her when jack called.
“hi baby.” “hi, is that jadore screaming like that?”
“the one and only.”
“put me on speaker.”
jack put you on speaker and you started to talk to jadore.
“jadore tovi harlow, you cannot be screaming just because daddy told you no, you have rules follow them or your coming home. understand?”
you heard her sniff before she answered you. “yes mommy..”
“thank you baby.”
“you’re welcome jackie, text me before you get home so i can have jadore things ready for a nap or bed.”
“alright, i love you.”
“i love you more, i’m still on speaker right?” “yea”
“i love you jadore!”
“i love you to mommy!” giggled as jack hung up the phone.
“after we get some food where do you want to go dore?”
“home! i miss mommy and sissy!”
“alright baby.”
sarija was only two months but jadore already loved her with her whole heart.
jack texted you and let you know after they left the restaurant the would be coming back home.
it was only 4:30, you thought they would be out basically until jadores bedtime, you knew you weren’t going anywhere after this so you decided to get out jadores pajamas anyway.
it was 5:24 when jadore and jack pulled up at home.
you went to your room trying to avoid jadore as to not get her sick when you heard the door opening.
jack walked in and was bringing jadore to her room when he got a text from you.
you- brush her teeth, give her a bath, then put her in her pajamas. shes not going to sleep right now but its to make it easier for later tonight.
stinka💕- i got you baby.
jack did exactly what he was told and after it was jadores nap time anyway, he put her in the bed and kissed her forehead and went to your room.
he walked in to see saija being feed and you slightly sitting up with your eyes barely open.
“do you want me to bottle feed her my love?”
you shook your head yes and jack walked over and took her from you.
“thanks jack.”
“of course, go to bed baby. i got it.”
you rolled over on your stomach after fixing your t-shirt and started to drift off to sleep.
after around twenty minutes jack came back with a sleeping sarija baby in one hand and two bottles in the other.
jack put sarija in her bassinet next to your side of the bed and walked over to his side.
jack came over and cuddled up on you but you pushed him off.
“i dont want to get you sick babe..”
“if anything im already going to get sick because i’ve been around sarija all day, i dont mind baby.”
jack gave you a kiss on the cheek before coming back to cuddle you.
“jackie..”
“shh, go to bed mamas. i know your tired..”
jack rubbed your hip up and down and pushed you into him.

You’re my daddy, not his! :

You and Jack were rushing around the house, trying to make sure that you had baby-proofed everything you needed to for safety measures.
You had already done this because of your own kids but you wanted to make extra sure your company was safe.
“I forgot what it was like to have a small baby around” Jack laughed.
Hazel was already nine and Jade was going to be four.
“I think we both did way too much but better safe than sorry” you shrugged. “Sandra said she’d be here in about an hour.”
“So in two hours then?” Jack teased.
Sandra was a friend of both of you, Jack had met her through the label and her oldest child had a lot of play dates with Hazel when they were younger. Her oldest, named Lordes was six and then Sandra just had another baby a couple months ago, so you and Jack invited her over for one of your family barbecues so everyone could meet her new addition.
“Clay said he’d be here in about fifteen minutes to start grilling” Jack smiled and you nodded.
“You know you’re capable of grilling too right?” You teased.
“Clay does it better though” he smiled, and he wasn’t wrong.
You clicked your tongue at him, shaking your head as you handed him the food that would need to be grilled.
“Daddy, can you set up the sprinkler? Please?” Hazel asked impatiently as she already had her bathing suit on.
Jade walked over to you, “I don’t wanna play in the sprinkler, I tired.” She yawned and you picked her up, resting her as best you could on your hip.
“Do you wanna take a nap? Your uncles and aunties will be here soon” you reminded her as you knew she wouldn’t remember.
“Small one” she yawned and you walked her to her room.
“Let me know if you need anything” You pushed her curls out of her face and kissed her on the forehead before quietly leaving her room.
Shortly after you left her room Clay, Urban, and Copelan showed up. “Hey, guys!” You walked over and gave them all a hug and let them know Jack was in the backyard with Hazel.
“Need help with anything?” Copelan asked you before you assured him you were fine and he joined everyone else.
Your house started to fill up with all the usual family and friends it always did, and then finally Sandra showed up. Jack was right, she was always fashionably late but you didn’t mind it.
Jade had just woken up from her nap and decided to join her sister and cousins in the backyard.
“Oh my gosh! Sandra!” You hugged her and greeted Lordes before asking to hold her new baby boy.
“Of course! Gives my arms a rest” Sandra smiled.
Jack walked inside and assured her the food was ready and to let loose and relax. She knew everyone there anyway.
You sat down on the couch, admiring the baby. “Hi Santiago, I’m y/n. I’m so glad your mommy could make it today so I could finally meet you” you whispered.
Jack sat beside you, admiring how beautiful you looked holding four-month-old Santiago.
“He’s so little” you hummed, smiling at the baby.
“He’s adorable too” Jack responded.
“Do you wanna hold him?” You looked up at Jack. He eagerly nodded, taking him from you as softly as possible.
You smiled at your husband, you’d be lying if you said you didn’t miss the days when your babies were tiny. He had such strong paternal instincts and you found it incredibly attractive.
Santiago cooed and made small mumbling sounds but he was asleep for the most part.
“Don’t look at me like that” he half chuckled as he looked up and into your eyes.
“Why? You might mess around and give me another?” You winked and he just smiled and shook his head.
“Sometimes I think about it”’ he admitted, “but not for long, two is more than enough.”
Jack never forgot your difficult birth with Jade, and obviously you didn’t either. It traumatized you both.
“Does it make you sad that we never had a son?” You looked down at Santiago, with tears in your eyes.
“Never, I have my girls and that’s all that I need” he hummed, leaning over safely to kiss you. “You three keep me on my toes enough as it is” he laughed.
Hazel and Jade walked in quietly, “can we see the baby?” Hazel asked excitedly but Jade was more reserved.
You noticed Jade looking at Jack intensely. “Why’s daddy holding that baby?” Jade asked you, as she crawled into your lap. She was still watching her dads every move.
“This is Santiago” Jack showed both the girls but Jade remained uninterested.
“He’s so cute” Hazel giggled as she sat between both you and Jack.
“Not cute,” Jade said with a huff, “Bald.”
“Jade!” Hazel gasped.
“Don’t know why daddy is holding a baby that’s not his baby” She scooted off your lap and went and sat on the arm of the couch next to Jack.
“You don’t need to hold him” she scolded, wagging her finger at him.
You realized what was going on here and wanted to giggle but you felt genuinely bad for Jade. When Jade was born Hazel had to learn to share her parents but Jade never had that experience.
“Jade, it’s okay. Daddy is just holding him while Sandra eats” You tried to calm her emotions.
Jack wanted to comfort her, but his hands were full.
“What’s wrong with her?” Hazel whispered to you.
“Remember when Jade was born and you had to share Daddy?”
“Yeah? She doesn’t wanna share?” Hazel whispered.
“Yeah, something like that bug” you sighed.
“You’re my daddy, not- not” Her eyes filled with tears and she started to cough on her own spit.
She was about to have a full fledge Jade Harper Harlow breakdown.
“Oh shit” Hazel cussed but you were too overwhelmed to react.
“Gimme the baby” You reached your hands out to Jack and took Santiago as he stood up to comfort Jade.
“Jadey” he picked her up as she started to wail. He took her to her room as he tried not to disturb the baby.
Sandra walked in, as she heard crying. Lordes followed too. “I heard crying?”
“Jade was a little jealous after seeing her dad hold Santiago. She didn’t sleep much today.” You nervously laughed.
“Oh, she was the same way” she motioned to her daughter Lordes.
“Hazel too” You smiled and Hazel groaned.
“I don’t remember.”
“Me and Daddy definitely do though” you laughed.
You handed Santiago back to Sandra for a feeding and you went to check on Jade and Jack. Hazel went back outside to play with Lordes and her cousins.
You walked up to the door, you heard sniffling and you quietly opened the door. Jade was in Jack's lap and he was rocking her back and forth.
“You know you’re daddies baby right? I love you so much” he continued to tell her and she sniffled. She was more calm than she was a few moments ago.
“Why holding the baby? Mommy didn’t have a baby.”
“Sandra is mommy and i’s friend and she had a baby. She was just letting me and your mommy hold him.”
You sat down beside them on the bed.
“So he’s not living here?” She said excitedly looking at you both and Jack chuckled.
“No baby, he will go home with Sandra when she leaves” he reassured her.
“Ohs, he will go home? Does this mean you still loves me?”
“That’ll never change” you and Jack said in unison.
“Ohs, I feel silly now” she giggled wiping her eyes. “I go play?”
“Yes sweetheart, go play” Jack helped her off his lap and you both watched as she ran out of the room.
“I told you, the three of you keep me on my toes”’ he laughed and you scooted closer to him.
“I love how you handled that” You pulled him closer for a kiss.
“Oh really? Let me handle you next” he winked.

Teach Me: Some Bunny Loves You
Series Masterlist
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ariel was awake just as the sun rose Easter morning. Today would be the first Easter she was celebrating with Jack since they got together, and she wanted to make it special.
They were originally going to have all of their friends and families and even a few of Jayla’s friends over to celebrate but then they decided to just celebrate with just the three of them. Ariel had spent days crafting an Easter basket filled with treats and toys for Jayla. Jack’s only duty was to plan the Easter egg hunt in their backyard, hiding the colorful eggs in every corner.
As Jayla bounded down the stairs in excitement, Ariel and Jack exchanged knowing smiles. Jayla ran into the kitchen “HAPPY EASTER!!”
“Are you excited, Jayla?” Ariel asked, grabbing her Easter basket.
Her eyes sparkled with anticipation. “Yes, I can’t wait to see what the Easter Bunny brought!”
Jayla eagerly rummaged through her Easter basket, her face lit up with pure delight. “Wow! Look at all these goodies!” she exclaimed, holding up a plush bunny and a handful of chocolate eggs.
Jack grinned, watching the excitement dance across his daughter’s face. “It’s going to be a great day.”
Shortly after breakfast, they ventured outside for the egg hunt. Ariel and Jack took turns hiding eggs while Jayla waited eagerly on the porch. As soon as Jack gave her the signal, she dashed off, squealing with delight as she found each hidden treasure. Ariel made sure to snap photos of the joyful moments, capturing memories they would cherish for years to come.
“Ariel, look what I found!” Jayla exclaimed, holding up a brightly colored egg.
“That’s a good one!” Ariel cheered, snapping a quick photo.
Back inside, they gathered around the dining table to dye Easter eggs. Ariel admired Jayla’s beautifully decorated Easter eggs, she couldn’t help but notice Jack’s attempt at dyeing eggs. She stifled a giggle, trying to hide her amusement behind a hand.
Jayla, catching Ariel’s suppressed laughter, leaned over to inspect her dads eggs. She burst into a fit of giggles, covering her mouth with her hand. “Daddy, these eggs look funny!”
Jack looked at his creations with mock indignation, then joined in the laughter. “Hey now, I tried my best!”
Ariel couldn’t contain herself any longer and burst into laughter, the sound echoing throughout the room. “I’m sorry, Jack, but you should probably stick to making music!”
As the day drew to a close, Ariel felt a sense of warmth and contentment wash over her. Spending Easter with Jack and Jayla had brought them closer together as a family. As they shared hugs and exchanged heartfelt “I love you’s,” Ariel knew that this was just the beginning of many more celebrations to come.
