A Miriam piece, she’s definitely my fave of the Absolution cast ✨

I honestly think my favorite part about Dragon Age: Absolution was seeing a wisdom spirit! The way they appeared in a humanoid form, and were perfectly happy to offer their aid. I am very intrigued by the way they designed the spirit too, the eyes of course being associated both with the Pride demons and Solas's Dreadwolf depictions.

The concept of it being a Memory spirit, and how that is a facet of wisdom is really cool!

And I liked how the show reinforced Solas's explanation on how spirits must remain true to their nature or become corrupt versions of themselves. Seeing that Memory warned the Magister not to push them, and was ignored, as the reason they turned was both tragic and cool to see. Cause it reinforces Solas's philosophy on spirits and demons, which has often been contested by other mages. But it also shows how many spirits have been lost to this issue over the course of the games. In Faded For Her, Solas laments on how rare spirits of Wisdom are, and knowing that Memory was a rare and precious kind of spirit just makes the loss all the more tragic to me.
