im gonna shit myself i just saw the voting gauntlet results and edeIgard was in round 1 in two brackets and lost both brackets
as ever we keep the edeIgard loses in round 1 legends going hella strong
#DCB Comments#all we have left are actually good units who will be on the banner so good for us good for us#good for people who actually want good units in a gacha game and aren't just voting to simp#still can't believe ppl voted for a 2021 character for this particular gauntlet#not only did the character I mainly voted for get in the top eight/the gauntlet!!!#but we won round one!!! against uwugard!!! veronica said fuck off with your uwus#bc veronica was a villain to protagonist and she did it right#also for the record i think edegard has gotten to round two one time but she's been in a LOT of gauntlets#and every single other one she's lost in round one lol. and yet the simps still keep trying to vote for her to#get her into this yearly gauntlet. like. they do not learn. for those who don't play this game#they run a poll for us to choose who want to see on a banner to pull from. they put the top eight in a gauntlet#and the top four of those eight end up on the banner. the winner is given to all players for free#so in a situation like this most people want to vote for a good strong recent character#to at least get them on the banner if not for free. this one in particular isn't rly about faves like CYL#you get existing units and we're all just voting for who want to get on a banner or for free#mind you every single year since Houses came out the simps won't stop voting for EdeIgard#MIND YOU this year a unit from 2021 got in which was Fallen EdeIgard#rather than voting for late 2022 or early 2023 units who are improved and you know power creeped#they don't actually vote for newer units or necessarily good units (re: og EdeIgard before)#apparently tho they whine that they're oppressed when they keep losing every single gauntlet lol#Formortiis is literally right there we don't need Fallen EdeIgard hjagjfgjs#DCB Heroes Stuff

The newest banner of feh has been arrived and it’s....what? Sumo (Fire tribe) banner???
- Lyn got even more alts?!?! and new B skill? (I swear I’m so tired of her but...) looking great but could it be anyone like male units than just another lyn...please.
- Muspell, I don’t like his story/character but damn! the design of this alt and the dragon design always got me! (but I thought he will be in the winter banner this year cause Nifil got in summer banner lol)
- Rinkah...she got demote with poor skills even her design is kinda just upgrade from her previous one.
- Tana & Peony I thought they were Lilina and Peony XD my bad. Tana got more alts! nice but it would be cooler if it’s Ephriam instead since you know, he used flame lance which is even more fit to this kind of banner.
- OMG!!! Mordercai as the T.T units???? so the leaked is about him! but to be honest, at the first seen...I thought he was wearing a wedding veil....and I was like awwww, you would look great as a bride, my mordecai! anyway, he look great! wonder if his skills are good too?
==================================
but seriously, I don’t feel any interested in this banner which is great! cause I’m gonna save orbs for the new poower (brave cyl 4) banner and also the new story banner too (if they have interesting units) anyway, I wish for the luck and get whom you want!  for me, of course, I’m going to skip this once again (the brave cyl 6 drained all of my orbs...; w ; )

Let’s talk how about Chrom and Robin’s bond evolved over time
With everyone clamoring over the new emblem I wanted to take a look back how we got here with their relationship and why I think at this point Chrobin is the intended or inferred Chrom pairing when it didn’t used to be.
In 2012 we got Fire Emblem Awakening, and as Chrom was related to Marth, his inferred pairing was Sumia a pegasus knight as a nod to Caeda, Marth’s canon wife. Granted because part of Awakening’s charm is you could pair anyone up, you didn’t have to pair Chrom up with Sumia if you didn’t wish to. But to IS she was the intended choice.
She had special scenes with Chrom and was the most likely to end up paired with him if you weren’t gunning for a specific wife for him
Tumblr media
And you see her here in the opening with Lucina
Robin is you, the avatar, they don’t even have official art, just them with a hood
Tumblr media
They had a canon design what we all know now but it wasn’t really used. And that should have been it as far as IS was concerned. Awakening was their last hurrah. And then FE blew up.
Robin’s canon design is now getting used, both the male and female version are now in Smash Bros. Then we have Warriors and Heroes and the Awakening cast shows up more. But not Sumia. Perhaps it’s because she’s not popular or the people flocked to Cordelia instead but she is the pegusus knight everyone loves. Sumia isn’t even in Warriors or the base FEH she gets added much later to FEH only with other less popular Awakening characters.
It’s here when FE became more maintstream I believe that IS changed their tune on Sumia being the intended wife and retconed it. I fully think Sumia was dropped and they no longer had an intended pairing for him all because she just wasn’t popular. Him and Robin were close of course they always were, obviously some would see it as friendship others would see it as something more the usual nothing really changed there.
And then 2022 ten full years after Awakening’s release...this happened
Tumblr media
Couple things here. I fully believe the reason Chrom was paired with MRobin here instead of FRobin is for two big reasons reasons.
1) If they paired him with FRobin it canonizes a pairing so MRobin is the safer option, FEH doesn’t usually pair men and women unless they’re already a pairing. So MRobin got paired with Chrom and FRobin was on her own but she still has lines about how much Chrom meant to her.
2) MRobin is the more popular Robin as has been shown every year in CYL and he’d even win next year
So Chrom and Robin were always close it was a no brainer to make them a duo unit, they picked the male version on a very family oriented banner.
That said some of these lines...well let’s just say if a man and a woman were saying that to each other there would be no doubt here. Imagine if this Robin was the female version
Robin: There's Lissa, Emmeryn, Lucina, Frederick... I think we've got gifts for everyone. Don't we? Chrom: Well, all but one. What would you like your gift to be, Robin? Robin: What? Me? You can't just come out and ask like that, you know. There are rules! Chrom: You know I don't care about that. Just tell me what you want. Robin: Truthfully...I can't think of anything. Chrom: You don't want anything? Aw, come on. Think of the bind that puts me in. Robin: You gave my life meaning when I had nothing—not even my memory. The sense of purpose I've found at your side, working for peace in the world, is all I could ever ask for. Chrom: You're not alone in that, you know. I feel the same way. That's why I wanted to give you something nice. To show you how I feel. Robin: All right, all right. In that case, why don't you give me one of those flowers you're wearing? Chrom: It's only going to wilt. Robin: I'll press it into one of my books. That way I'll never forget this Day of Devotion.
Snippet from their duo convo. Usually when someone gives flowers it’s considered a pretty romantic gesture I’ve heard plenty of people call this alt playfully the gays and yeah this is very strong.
FRobin even comments on them in one of her lines.
“That man with Chrom is a Robin from another world, right? They get along so well, I'm almost jealous...“
There was no need for that line at all, we can tell from their lines how flipping close they are but they felt the need to have another character comment on it in base lines
I do believe MRobin was used not to canonize a pairing...at first. And then they gave up because it looked like people really liked it going even further in the next year.
In Awakening Chrom and Robin refer to themselves as two halves of the same whole which is already a loaded term. But it’s never been used after and was just part of the game
Enter the next time they pair up as the Emblem of Bonds which brought that back for the first time since 2012, in full force
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Correct me if I’m wrong but no one besides them have referred to each other as their other half in Awakening
Tumblr media
Lucina does it in Engage. For reference other half means husband, wife or partner (romantic). I think after the Valentine’s alt they decided sure why not and now they’re really going in with Robin being Chrom’s other half when they only touched the term once past Awakening in a FRobin cipher card. Other half in Engage is Robin and he pops up when engaged with Chrom to mix magic with the attack. I don’t doubt you can mean a friend with this term but when paired with everything else they say to each other, it’s pretty strong evidence it’s further than friendship.
Okay now for the the ultimate Robin is now Chrom’s intended partner view, Legendary Robin also released this year
Tumblr media
“Tactician of Ylisse. Celebrated as Exalt Chrom's other half in the legends that followed their exploits. Appears in Fire Emblem Awakening. “
I saw some people argue exalt could mean Lucina too but no it doesn’t, it clearly means Chorm it says so and if you didn’t believe that, we got a map that was the two called Chrom and his other half. Which is Robin.
His art also references his other half status, he now wears blueish green jewelry which stands for Chrom and the brand of the exalt is on his chest plate
Tumblr media
Finally in his damage art he once again has the symbol of the exalt formed in magic.
Tumblr media
And a ring, some have argued it’s his clothes but usually the magic gauntlets he wears are on his middle finger and not under his gloves; pretty sure it’s a ring, it’s even on the ring finger of his left hand, where you generally put a wedding ring.
Tumblr media
All this together is some very strong evidence, but put it with everything else they’ve done since last year and it’s clear to me, IS now is pushing Chrom and Robin as the intended pairing. Not canon like Marth and Caeda or Alm and Celica, but intended like they do with Eliwood and Ninian and some others I’m probably forgetting. And because MRobin is who they use and their “canon” sort of like FCorrin is the “canon” Corrin, IS is strongly hinting at MChrobin
Which fascinates me, we went from Chrom with a intended implied wife to scrapping it and pretended it never happened to this, Chrom with an intended husband. Him and his best friend, both two guys, very much in love. In ten years IS changed it’s mind on the intended canon pairing that isn’t even possible in the base game. They are a fate defying duo, the emblem of bonds, the exalt and his other half, two halves of the same whole and they are showing that in symbolism harder than ever. I think that’s really cool
To end this I’m aroace and see romance a little differently from the amatonormic norm Chrom and Robin could just be really good friends lord knows I also think friendship should be just as important as romance BUT if they were, it’s very clear they are each others most important person over any wife they might separately have.  But even that doesn’t follow a typical heteronormative relationship no? Chrom and Robin’s bonds are so strong they transcend the concept of romance and friendship as we know it, there is no name for the type of love they share it’s beyond us.
But what about Lucina? (and Morgan) In a world with magic, dragons, people dying and coming back to life, time travel and more the idea of two guys somehow having a child is no longer far fetched at all really, or even surrogates exist.
Also they act like kind of like dads with her and it’s really cute
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now granted IS could remake Awakening and MRobin will still not be able to marry Chrom and this whole analysis would have been for naught but I think if they do remake it they’ll add it. Look at how many people have been introduced to them just through Heroes and Engage you don’t think people are going to want to pair up the exalt and his other half in their game?
To sum it up, yes there literally is no heterosexual explanation for where IS has taken this. It wasn’t originally the intended pairing but it sure is now, I don’t think there is any room for denial anymore until we see what they do with a remake.

Making Some Book VIII New Heroes Predictions
Now that we've gotten the trailer for the final New Heroes banner of Book VII, it's time to look ahead to what the next year may bring in terms of new characters to be added to FEH. Two years back I made an entire video out of this topic on my channel...but that's a lot of work and I'm about to dive into the Super Mario RPG remake over there, so I'm doing this the easy way this time.
*When I refer to "premium" units in this post, I'm talking about ascended, rearmed, or attuned heroes. Also legendaries and mythics, if it's outside the context of New Heroes banners.
Guaranteed banners
Engage
Definitely one, possibly two again this year. IS is breaking up the cast by country, so an Elusian banner with the royal sisters, Goldmary, and whichever of the guys polls highest is an easy prediction. I'd say Solm as well, but it's already such a natural fit for the January special banner theme that we may have to wait for then to see those characters all together. 2024 is doubtful there for that, considering we just got a special Timerra. It's possible we may see a DLC-focused banner, like what happened with the Wolves - and IS will absolutely push Zelestia as a new character even though Zephia's already in the game.
Everyone's also predicting that Engage will sweep the next CYL with at least three of the four slots, so that in combination with a standard array of seasonals, a likely appearance on the fallen banner, and the odd legendary or mythic (legendary m!Alear at some point is all but assured) will lead to complaints of Engage fatigue.
Thracia
Unless you count ascended Ced or Sara backpacking for desert Linde (I don't), we haven't had a new FE5 unit in Heroes since March of 2022. The poor game is long overdue, especially because aside from Engage it's the title with the most potential new units to add. Granted that those characters aren't exactly popular, but with a whopping nine women still missing from its roster FE5 can lock down the key headlining waifu demographic in a way that almost every other game would struggle to at this point. There's a plot-relevant magical waif (Linoan), a loli (Tina), a dancer (Lara), a wyvern rider (Eda), or a pegasus knight to follow up on 2022's Karin (Misha). Again, none of them are especially popular, but Thracia could make up a viable banner easily even without help from Heroes fanservice. I'd expect one sometime between January and April, when the New Heroes events lack OCs.
Path of Radiance
The Tellius games alternate books, likely because of the significant roster overlap. Book VII got a Radiant Dawn banner, so here we are. Since FE10 poached Lucia though, FE9's only got Calill for a new female addition. Prediction for the banner would be Calill, a premium female character (one of Mia, Ilyana, or Nephenee, maybe Mist?), a Heroes OC, and some male unit. Largo would be logical, but I could see a more random pick like Zihark or Tauroneo.
Three Houses
A surprising number of Fódlan characters are still stuck in alt hell despite the years of fatigue. There's enough of them in fact for two or possibly three more New Heroes banners without significant help from OC padding. We've already seen multiple examples of IS using characters' Hopes designs for lazy premium alts, so I'd also expect more of that.
2023's banner was all Lions (and Rhea), so next year's will focus on a different house. If it's the Deer, I'd guess Lorenz, Leonie, premium Lysithea or Marianne, and either a Heroes OC or whichever of Raphael or Ignatz polls better. If it's the Eagles, Dorothea and Caspar are locks as well as premium Bernadetta most likely, along with Heroes fanservice or possibly regular Manuela. After those two ideas have been used up, the few remaining members of the roster are very likely doomed to something like the recent Echoes banner where they've got to split it with multiple OCs. The handful of male non-student characters who got dropped from the Hopes roster (and also Rodrigue from Hopes itself) are probably out of luck entirely bar the odd GHB like Cyril got a few months ago.
Oh, and fallen m!Shez possessed by Arval is pretty much a lock next year too. Fódlan is amazing for those wanky fallen banners.
(New) Mystery of the Emblem
Archanea closed out Book VI a year ago and hasn't been seen since, so a comeback in 2024 is reasonable. Complicating matters is that despite the abundance of missing units, most of them are 1) male and/or 2) utterly forgettable. The waifu picks are Midia, Cecil, Marisha, and Yuliya...not exactly inspiring options. As 2022's banner was ostensibly taken from FE1/11 owing to pre-corruption Hardin and as FE3/12 have more options for new units, that would be the more likely play. Will we finally see a banner that forces IS to turn an earlygame cleric into a headliner? Historically those characters have fared poorly in Heroes (we're still missing all of Edain, Lana, Safy, Elen, and Laura), but half of the options for new women are just that.
Fates
Last we saw FE14 New Heroes they were opening this book, so it's a reasonable expectation later on in Book VIII. Even though Fates still holds the largest percentage of Heroes's total roster, it surprisingly has a handful of characters it can still offer. That's especially true for the second generation, although because that was the focus of the last banner IS may be alternating them. The waifu options in Gen 1 - Mozu, Scarlet, and technically Fates Anna - aren't inspiring, but it's not like Sophie and Mitama left over in Gen 2 are much better. Throw in a premium royal or two and/or a Heroes OC and call it a banner.
Assuming two Engage banners, that's seven of the ten New Heroes slots. Those below are ones I'm less certain of - but something's got to fill out the holes in the schedule.
Wild Cards
Genealogy and Binding Blade
Both reasonable options although they're kind of running low at this point. FE4's banners alternate, so the next one should be Gen 1...which has only Edain and an assortment of men that even fans of the game are hard-pressed to care about. FE6 has, uh...Elen? I did say IS hates earlygame clerics.
The one thing that would certainly bolster the prospects of either of these games would be a remake announcement, which would offer tons of options for premium alts and potentially drum up interest in missing early picks like both games' Christmas knights and such. It would be odd if we didn't get any kind of development announcement for FE in 2024, and a remake would be perfect filler while IS works on whatever the next big release is planned to be.
Sacred Stones
Seems to be a favorite among the FEH staff considering how often it shows up on summer banners despite its age and low level of waifu bait potential, and the last time it got a New Heroes banner was near the start of this year. Too bad it's down to Ismaire as far as new female characters go.
Blazing Blade
Unlikely as it's just now getting a new banner, and it too is running out of viable options. With Isadora getting added, Vaida's the only female character from the game left.
Awakening
Technically overdue since it last showed up in October of 2022, but it's been running on fumes for years. We're talking just Vaike and Laurent here. Even Kellam got a seasonal! I expect that FE13 will be the next victim of a double OC banner. Speaking of which...
Echoes
...Not happening. We all saw that travesty last month. Jesse and/or Nomah might be added sometime in 2025, if IS even bothers.

Might I ask what the Corpul phenomenon is?
THE BRIEF EXPLANATION: we gassed up coirpre so much during cyl7 + looked at his wiki page for so long that we tricked ourselves into believing he’s a major character
THE LONG EXPLANATION:
at the beginning of january 2022 i finally picked up fe4 again after a few months of not playing. my Return to jugdral was marked by being incredibly baffled by coirpre and also hannibal’s fucked up recruitment:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
anyway. due to being on the wikipedia too long trying to make sense of them we accidentally got really attached to coirpre as a character and for what he brings to the story. especially with his lene support and that whole deal… and the altena + hannibal support? also fire as hell if you haven’t read that one. some may call it copium or sunk cost fallacy after spending so long trying to evade hannibal and trying to get either of them to not die but i know it for what it is: #LOVE.
this all comes to a head when we check his cyl placements and we are like Fuckkkk. he is never getting into feh. he’s literally in the lowest percentile. his best year was in cyl3 where he got 43 votes. it’s over. BUT then we all collectively decided to coirpaganda for cyl7, which ALSO just so happened to be the ONE YEAR they did that dumbass rising heroes thing where they were like ‘👉 hey look at these guys who ranked up way higher than last year’.
Tumblr media
^so like i don’t wanna say we did this but also objectively i think we did. we were forreal trendsetters. and see the fight is not truly over until he’s added into feh but i trust that it will happen this year. intsys will fall to the phenomenon as well it’s only a matter of time and also bribing my mutuals.

The WRX Rally car is engineered for performance while prioritizing driver safety above all else. Designing the WRX Rally Racer Exterior While racing cars need no styling frills, Vermont SportsCar still took aerodynamics into account when designing the WRX Rally exterior: Aggressive stance - Sporty bumpers, widened fenders and huge rear wing help plant the car at speed while also looking fantastic. Functional carbon fiber - Lightweight carbon elements like the wide fenders, doors, and rear wing
trim pounds while providing durability. Massive intakes - Large hood scoop, front bumper, and side intakes feed fresh cooling air to the turbo engine and brakes during long stages. The WRX Rally racer cuts an imposing profile worthy of its extreme performance capabilities. The Heart of a Rally Car: Its Specialized Suspension A competition rally car's suspension must handle brutal impacts while delivering tight handling and maximum traction. The WRX Rally boasts a custom suspension setup crafted by experts. Long-Travel MacPherson Struts Allow bigger bumps to be absorbed without shocking the chassis Adjustable Spring Rates/Damping Tuned for different surfaces - higher rates/damping for smooth roads, softer for rough conditions Extended Suspension Travel +5 inches of lift allows traversing uneven terrain without bottoming out Quick-Steering Rack Faster response for tight corners on twisty rally stages Larger-Diameter Anti-Roll Bars Minimize body roll in turns for flatter, more stable cornering Electric Power Steering More efficient than hydraulic systems while retaining proper rally feel This sophisticated suspension transforms an ordinary street car into a rally monster. Rally Car Drivetrain Tech Explained The specialized drivetrain components in a rally racer help translate power into forward motion: Turbocharged Engine A small-displacement turbo engine like the WRX's 2.0L boxer delivers broad powerband and quick response. Lightweight Flywheel Lessens rotating mass for quicker revving. Critical for fast starts off the line. Sequential Gearbox Enables rapid upshifts/downshifts without lifting throttle. Much faster than road car gearboxes. All-Wheel Drive Vital for putting power down coming out of corners and on loose surfaces like gravel. Limited-Slip Differentials Allow wheels to turn at different rates in corners while transferring torque effectively. Help power the car through turns. Shorter Gearing Keeps engine in optimal rev range on tricky rally stages. Prioritizes acceleration over top speed. This powertrain hardware withstands intense use while generating competitive speed. Inside a Rally Car: Spartan Design Focused on Function Rally drivers don't need plush luxury. The WRX's stripped-down interior prioritizes rally competition essentials: Roll Cage Provides chassis reinforcement and protects occupants in crashes. Racing Seats Fixed-back racing buckets with cutouts for harnesses keep occupants firmly in place. Safety Harnesses 5/6-point harnesses secure the driver and co-driver for safety. Digital Gauge Cluster Programmable display provides vitals like RPM, temps, speed, etc. Racing Steering Wheel Suede-covered flat-bottom wheel with controls and quick-release. Sequential Shifter Enables rapid up/downshifts for the sequential gearbox. Hydraulic Handbrake Allows controlled rear wheel lockup to initiate turns. Fire Suppression System Onboard extinguishers can quickly put out electrical or engine fires. It may look spartan, but this purpose-built interior gives drivers everything needed to go fast and stay safe. Rally Racing: An Overview for Beginners New to the sport of rally racing? Here's a quick primer on how it works: Timed competitive events take place on closed public roads and paths, with the surface ranging from pavement to gravel or dirt. Courses are typically set up as a series of stages totaling 40 to 100+ miles. Stages feature tight, twisting routes that test driver skill and car control. Pacenotes read by a co-driver guide the drive
r. Speeds can exceed over 100 mph. Cars start stages at set intervals, racing the clock rather than wheel-to-wheel directly with competitors. Skill comes from pushing to the limit while staying in control. Categories are grouped by classes based on factors like drivetrain and engine size. Teams compete to have the fastest cumulative time for all stages, factoring penalties. Top championships include World Rally Championship (WRC), American Rally Association (ARA) in the U.S., and rally series by automakers like Subaru. Rally demands intense concentration, car control skills, and teamwork from the driver and co-driver. Subaru's Rally Champions Through History Subaru has fielded plenty of legendary drivers who achieved championship success behind the wheel of their rally racers: Colin McRae - Scottish driver who won the WRC drivers' title in 1995. His exciting style garnered widespread popularity. Richard Burns - English driver who piloted Subaru Imprezas to victory in the 2001 WRC championship. David Higgins - Joined Subaru rally team in 2006. Scored multiple U.S. championships and wins driving Impreza WRX models. Travis Pastrana - X-Games icon drove Subarus competitively between 2005-2009, including ARA championships in 2006 and 2009. Patrick Sandell - Swedish driver won two driver's titles in America during his Subaru factory tenure from 2007-2010. Subaru has pulled the wraps off its latest rally-bred WRX competition car. Built for the American Rally Association series, it packs racing upgrades while staying true to Subaru's rally heritage. An Overview of Subaru's New Rally Machine The Subaru Motorsports WRX Rally car ushers in a new challenger for the 2023 American Rally Association (ARA) Championship season. Purpose-built by Subaru technical partner Vermont SportsCar Turbo 2.0L 4-cyl engine with 320 hp and 380 lb-ft torque 6-speed sequential transmission and AWD drivetrain Lightweight body with seam welding and carbon fiber accents Upgraded competition suspension system Stripped interior with integrated roll cage Makes competition debut at August 2022 Ojibwe Forests Rally This specially-developed rally racer aims to continue Subaru's long history of domination in U.S. rally competition. Subaru's Rally Racing Pedigree Subaru boasts one of the strongest pedigrees in American rally racing. The automaker has won multiple manufacturer's championships in the sport. 1990s-2000s Three-time ARA champion with the Impreza WRX between 2001-2004 Back-to-back driver's championships in 2002 and 2003 2010s Manufacturer's titles in 2012 and 2013 Driver's championship in 2014 with David Higgins Recent Higgins claimed the ARA driver's championship in 2021 Subaru has won 8 of the last 10 ARA titles The WRX Rally racer aims to score Subaru more silverware as the ARA enters its second season under new management. WRX Rally Car High-Performance Specs To make the WRX a top ARA title contender, Vermont SportsCar optimized every component for rugged rally conditions: Engine Turbocharged 2.0L boxer 4-cylinder Output capped at 320 hp and 380 lb-ft torque 33mm intake restrictor mandated by regulations Drivetrain Sadev 6-speed sequential transmission Durable all-wheel drive system Chassis/Body Seam welded unibody for increased structural rigidity Custom suspension tunings for long travel Quick-steering rack and competitive alignment settings Carbon fiber widebody exterior panels Cockpit Minimalist interior with full roll cage Sparco racing seats and harnesses Digital dash and racing steering wheel Racing pedals and firewall-mounted handbrake Every aspect is engineered to withstand punishing jumps, impacts, and lateral forces of rally while delivering maximum performance. Safety First - Rally Car Safety Features While outrageous in performance, rally cars boast state-of-the-art safety equipment to protect drivers during crashes: Roll cages - Critical for chassis rigidity and absorbing impact forces in a crash. Required by all sanctioning bodies. Racing seats - Fixed-back seats made of fire-resistant materials keep occupants tightly in place. Include cutouts to accommodate harnesses. Safety harnesses - Five or six-point harnesses secure driver and co-driver to seats for maximum protection in an accident. Quick-release design allows fast exit. Rally suits - Fire-resistant suits, gloves, balaclavas and shoes provide protection from flames and heat. Helmets - Lightweight carbon fiber helmets designed specifically for motorsports use. Feature face shields and fireproof materials. Head and neck restraints - Devices like the HANS device reduce injuries from sudden head movements during crashes.
Fender flares - Bulging wheel arches accommodate the beefy suspension and racing wheels/tires, while also facilitating airflow. Underbody smoothness - Belly pans and diffusers smooth underbody airflow for increased downforce and stability at high speeds.
