*ahem* anyway!
Outside of Chrom I wasn’t super excited for this group, so I summoned him, but I feel like Chrom almost got the short end of the stick because everyone else is wearing clothes based on someone close to them and Chrom is pretty much wearing his standard Great Lord outfit. (Which is probably what happens when you’re at your fourth (?) non-seasonal Alt, I also think Brave Luci and L!Luci are similar and am disappointed by that)
I mean I love him because he is my husband but you know, cowards coulda put him in Emmeryn’s outfit to fit the theme is all I’m saying.
Jeralt as the GHB is absolutely delightful and I just got around to getting him in Three Hopes because I am the worst gamer ever and incredibly fucking slow so happy to see more of him!
Seliph in his dad’s clothes are cool, if I had more of an emotional connection to Geneaology I think that would probably be the one I enjoyed the most
Female Byleth in Sothis Regalia is cool conceptual but something about the artwork itself puts me off. Idk I don’t like the way she’s looking at me. Gives me the creeps
PenekoR my beloved but They coulda put Tiki in Naga’s or Bantu’s outfits instead of literally just her younger self which by design is very similar to her adult outfit. Or maybe something representing Mila since she was sleeping in the Mila tree?
So overall I’m kind of lukewarm on the Brave units this year, which isn’t surprising because other than Chrom I was lukewarm on the winners anyway. I’m sure people who are bigger fans of these characters are much happier

Ahhh yes CYL6 feat Sothis, Y.Tiki, Sigurd and Horse B.Lucina
Kinda sad for Tiki and Seliph though... We can't get away with the fact that they shoved Y.Tiki to us on her... I already guess what Seliph will look like but ooooofff he can't get away with Tryfing... Poor boy, you deserve better. I can see what will happen to Leif as well if he won CYL. Just big oof
But that Chrom special pose arts is nuts 👀👀👀
Overall kinda so-so, Chrom is nice with the assist skill, but the downside when he stole the buff he got gravitied, but the assist with horse movement? That's insane unless im wrong. Luckily he's not bow cav right? RIGHT?? But I feel like B.Eirika is still better, but we'll see
CYL5 was the most underwhelming (sorry Mari), this year still underwhelminh but not as bad lasy year... Guess I'll take the fact due to bot last year

Honestly really wanted Chrom to be based off of Emmeryn and Seliph from Deirdre, but I’ll take both of them since I was waiting for them
Oifey would have been such a good option for the GHB, but I guess FEH just really wants more Three Houses

How about those CYL results
Not sure if this is meant to be bait or something, but sure.
Alfonse is an odd choice, but he's long overdue for another alt. I've read that that has something to do with his Japanese VA - I wonder how IS will work around that?
Felix wouldn't be my first choice for a Houses CYL winner, and Bernadetta certainly isn't. At least their being gone clears the way for other games to have their day in future years. I'm absolutely expecting one if not both of them to just get their post-timeskip designs for their brave alts, because IS is routinely lazy with Fódlan characters like that.
I dislike Avatars on principle, and getting f!Robin the year after m!Robin is especially dull. I can't imagine voting for such awkward non-entities of characters, although I suppose that sentiment is fairly common considering it took until CYL6 for an Avatar to win. Probably the reason no one from Engage won, for that matter - all the votes got split amongst the various candidates, and apart from the Alears none of them feel sufficiently enough like main characters. Let's see how they fare next year.
Meanwhile I'm just waiting on the overall results to see how Diarmuid did. Here's to hoping he's the GHB unit on the next Thracia banner sometime in 2026!
