Hey CTCD fans.

I have a question. Do we know much about Muriel’s siblings? Cause we know Freaky Fred is Muriel’s nephew. So do we know much about Fred’s parents?

I’m asking cause I kinda want to write a possible idea that gives Fred a nice return and send off. Although it would be rather sad and dark. Cause I like the idea of Courage gaining someone else other than Muriel that he can trust. Someone who can logically visit on a whim.

How would the CTCD Characters react to hugs?

Courage - Smiles and giggles with his tail wagging

Muriel - Has a soft smile, hugs you too

Eustace - Would try to push your grasp by his annoyance

Computer - He would refuse to have a single hug, but when he wraps you with his metal robotic arms, he sighs in disbelief by disapproving of this experience

Bunny and Kitty - They each hug you with a kiss in your cheek and a BIG group hug!

Katz ‐ He would give out an intimidating glare, if you try to hug him. He is shown to despise hugs

Le Quack - He would refuse your hug offer. But if you have any cash with you, then he accept it and take the cash off of you

Cajun Fox - He would raise his arms to you, and then wrap in a friendly embrace

Shirley the Medium - she doesn't like being hugged. But instead would like to be patted on the head

Freaky Fred - smiles warmly and wraps his arms to yours

Cyan The Peacock (Courage The Cowardly Dog Fanfic)

[Characters: Courage, Muriel Bagge, Eustace Bagge and Cyan(OC)]

[When Courage and the Bagges head to a French library, they meet someone who appears to be quite shy and they speak in a French, soft spoken accent]

(It starts with Courage trying to reach out a book that is higher on the shelf but his height isn't high enough to reach it, he looks at it with his ears drooping down. Then someone who resembles a blue and white pecock came by and took the book he was getting off the shelf and looked at it)

???: Oooh, magnifique. I think that can be good to read (face turns surprised) Hmm? (Looks at Courage feeling sad, which made him feel bad for him) Ohhh, are you looking for this book that I got

(Courage nods)

???: (feeling bad for the dog, while holding the book. But then smiles while he gives it to him) Here, i apologise for grabbing it before you.

Courage: No no, it's alright but thanks anyways (takes the book and walks off)

???: You too chien(dog)

(It then cuts to the peacock rolling down a trolley and placing some books onto some shelves. Then a library staff member who is a fox walks to the bird)

???: Your doing ok there Cyan?

Cyan: Oh yes, oui oui Monsieur

???: Your doing good there pal. Now that I'm here, you go over and rest for now.

Cyan: Are you sure sir? But, who will place the books on ze shelves?

Muriel: Not really dear

???: Don't worry Cyan, I will do that for you

Cyan: Oh, ok Monsieur sir

(Cyan walks off to the staff's break room. While the fox staff member does his job by storing the books into their rightful shelves and moving the trolley)

(It then cuts to Cyan, who is on his break for now, Muriel walks by him)

Muriel: Oh why hello dear

Cyan: Oh uhh! Bonjour Madame hehe-. Can I help you with... anything? Even though I'm on my break

Cyan: Oh, ok Madame

Muriel: That's alright dear (pats Cyan's head)

(Courage comes over with a book he is holding)

Muriel: Oooh Courage, What book do you have here? Let's see what it is about

(Courage attempts to give the book to Muriel, then Eustace walks by Muriel)

Eustace: (snatches the book off of Courage's paws) Gimme that! Stupid dog!

(Courage's ears droop down)

Muriel: (mad at Eustace taking the book off of Courage) Eustace, that's not really nice of you to dear Courage

Eustace: Bah! Whatever

Cyan: Sir, I may have to save this, but I don't tolerate this type of behaviour in our library

Eustace: Then I don't tolerate you following behind me. So beat it you freakish- whatever you are!

Cyan: Sir, your behaviour is gonna get worse sir

Eustace: (impersonates Cyan's voice) "Oh Sir, your behaviour is gonna get worse" Bleh bleh bleh, blah! Your really annoying me a lot you blue freak and your voice is the most annoying ever (he walks slowly towards Cyan who was moving backwards away from him with tears coming out of his eyes)

(Many people[including Muriel and Courage] and the staff witness Eustace verbally abusing Cyan, until two of the library staff walk to Eustace and grab his arm each)

???: Ok Mr Bagge that's it, because of you verballly abusing at our trained employee, we're gonna have to get you out of this library. So come on you old grump

(As the two staff members pull Eustace, grumbling angrily to himself out of the library, they threw him out on the streets of Paris and close the doors as they leave. Then the staff employee came to Muriel and Courage while one of the staff comforts Cyan)

???: We apologise that we got your husband out of here for being rude to our employee Mrs Bagge

Muriel: Oh don't worry dear, Eustace does tend to get a bit... crabby with others but I still love him as his wife

???: (silent a bit) Oookay

Cyan: (quietly) Hang on a minute, how is someone who is very kind married to someone who said that I'm a... freak? (Sees Muriel) Huh?

Muriel: I'm sorry about me husband dear

Cyan: It's ok miss. Apology accepted

CW: dehumanization, animal cruelty and use of animal skin treated in a cartoon setting + analysis of those acts.

Mad World

My neurodivergence ass had been having problems with the cartoon world on this specific topic, since a LOT of cartoon tend to fall in the ''sentient-anthro animal that also coexist with their not sentient counterpart'' situation, even making jokes about it, gods Bugs was pretty chill about the idea of being hunted in almost every episode.

It not that i don't like the jokes, even some of them make for some funny scenarios (like in Tom&Jerry, we're Tom would willfully swift between pets alike acts to human works if the situation ask for it), but it kinda bugs me in the ethical and social way of thinking.

I mean, see in CTCD we have a pretty clear example: Courage and MadDog are both dogs, but the differences both in anatomy and actitude speak A LOT about this.

Yeah, Courage is smart and acts basically like a human, but at the end of the day he's a pet; he wears a leash when go out with Muriel&Eustace, He can barely talk, he sleep on the flour/at his owners bed end and, in general, live a pet life and get treated like one not just by his owners, but by everybody else.

While MadDog could easily be a ganster inside a fursuit and i would buy it, the bastard even have a car and probably a (illegal) bussiness!

and the problem here is pretty clear: Courage was raised by humans that choose to treat him like a pet, and i can confirm this 'cause you can see that both Courage parents seems to act more human like (even speaking, but that was in the spanish dub, idk if in the original one they also had lines)

So i personally shared the concept that was show in We Bare Bears movie for this universe: that all animals are smarts enough to become part of society if they interact enough with humans to get to it, BUT if they're treated like their not sentient counterpart, they're going to stay like that.

kinda funny in the dark way, but aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall this rant/analysis came 'cause i was thinking in how would Katz react to see a cat like Tom that act like a pet, then i when ''And how would Cajun react to a fox... Oh...'' and then i got sad and make the whole minicomic.

and also to take the sad out i make a joke about it, so have this too
