All the Christmas decorations have been taken down and put away today. In Germany it would be taken down on the 6th of January, but we would just put it up in the morning of the 24th of December. Here in England everyone seems to put it all up by the 1st of Advent and take it down right after Christmas. This has taken much longer than usual due to the issue with my hands that I mentioned in a previous post. I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with trigger thumb. It will probably go away on it's own but if not then there are injections that I can have. Once I knew what I was dealing with, I learned that resting it is the best cure. I tried to keep moving it from time to time thinking it needed exercise which was the worst thing to do. Trigger finger most commonly affects the thumb and ring finger. I can feel it starting in my ring finger.
