Thinking about Caleb “I-use-people’s-full-names-to-show-intimacy” Widogast and the way he calls Veth “Veth the Brave.” It’s not all the time—it’s rarely used, actually, saved for specific moments, only when he’s using the fondest of tones, with the most admiration, and how calling her that is more intimate than just “Veth Brenatto.” Because Veth the Brave is both of her identities. It’s Nott and it’s Veth, it’s their co-mingling, it’s her in her entirety. Veth the Brave. That’s why it’s so intimate, because he is speaking to all of who she is

And another thing, so what if she did know? What then Liliana? Are you going to kill your daughter? The same daughter who you said you were doing all this for? Are you going to kill or hurt her friends? Are you going to lecture her? Try on the title of “mother” so you can in still more trauma and issues into her?
Like, girly pop, what are you going to do because all of it makes you look like a hypocrite and/or loser

still thinking about Edmuda being like "well once we've dismantled what we perceive as your defense system" (also, you know, a major source of medical care; an important cultural aspect of people's lives; possibly a linchpin of the cosmos generally) and move to Exandria I'm sure some of you will be happy to live among us" after she's openly mind-controlled Ashton and after Barthie made it clear that the Imperium can make people compliant like...well I'm sure you can make them happy!

I'm glad we have a firm answer about how Artagan's affected by the Malleus Key's effects but I now need to know how the Luxon's handling it more than ever. What's the Dynasty up to. Vasselheim is religiously governed but like, by rotating appointment, and their gods can talk to them. Meanwhile there's a beacon in the key itself and the Dynasty's a theocratic monarchy. How's the divine right of kings holding up these days, Leylas.

Sean telling Marion he's more than what happened to him, more than what people want to exploit from him: that he deserves better. It was an impassioned speech and I believe he genuinely meant it. But he also still betrays Marion to people who would quite directly exploit him, because he has a conflicting objective and he's well practiced in how to hurt people who don't deserve it. Even knowing that if he's successful in his blindside, Marion would be denied all the good things Sean wished for him. Originally I was looking forward to a more direct confrontation between Sean and Marion at the end there so it could get even more deliciously painful, brother against brother, but in a way I think its absence is its own cherry on top of how things fell so beautifully, awfully apart, and how Sean's and Marion's choices and paths diverged (and then merged again in their deaths). But then again, I think at the end of Sean's speech he said something like "I hope you get to pick *you*" and that was indeed Marion's final act: having the opportunity to do what he wanted with his own soul. And while he gave it to someone else, it was still a selfish choice (in a neutral sense) in that Jean wouldn't have wanted him to do it. He did it for himself. He got do what Sean wished for him.

No, it doesn’t.
Have this guy ever looked at a person who was stuck by lighting or what happened to people when they get electricity through their body? The hair doesn’t turn into an afro, it just sticks up. It also says a lot that this dumbass thinks that having fizzy or fluffy hair is the same thing as having an afro.
Saying something as stupid as “Not everything is about race” in a post about how black hair is treated as a disgusting thing or a funny gag in content is a choice. Especially in a fucking series that had a blackface Pokémon in it!
I bet you this dumbass coon would not see a single issue with anime or Japanese games treating an afro like a bird’s nest. They would just tap dance for racists.

do you think fcg thought the world was flat because somewhere in their corrupted memory banks there was programming warning him away from the edges of the floating cities?

Ok why is the going theory somehow simultaneously "if the gods die, people who are only alive through divine magic may die" but also somehow "if the gods die, Vax, who was only able to live even as a revenant following his disintegration due to the intervention of divine magic, will be a-ok"

Rossi understood that he was not going to win the world championship, because, in that season finale, he was slower not only than Lorenzo but also than marc and dani. The problem was that his whole persona ( built mainly with the help of the Italian press), was based on having made the world believe that he was the strongest rider of all time, and that there would never be a stronger rider than him. In previous years in case of defeat there was always an excuse, which allowed him to blame others for his failures. In 2015, however, there was no excuse: he was about to lose the world championship because he was slower than his rivals. This was unacceptable, and so he saw fit to accuse marc of plotting against him. In this way he achieved two goals: he did not show that he was weaker than his opponents, but more importantly he irreparably ruined marc's reputation, who may win more world championships than rossi, but for most motogp fans, he will never be a champion on the same level as rossi.

fearne being a true startling testament to what ashley’s total presence brings to a full campaign, and all of her choices and her headspace for fearne really is that fearne. is full of love. and she clings to love. everything that fearne has endured she has done so while staying in a mindset of love. and the choices that her love brings her to make; to forgive freely, to protect fiercely, to desire and laugh and being able to get up the next day lightly and see what a new day will bring. she’s so full of love. and ashley being able to really dig her claws in this time with fearne and not have to mitigate or compartmentalize or be absent from that. the confidence and presence of fearne is so revitalizing and amazing it really is the greatest bummer we weren’t able to have a full unencumbered campaign in pike or yasha, (despite the very very undeniable fact that even not being physically there, ashley’s presence was a force in her own right that dramatically influenced the rest of the group.), and now that she’s actually able to embrace all of these raw, organic emotions and have fearne be vulnerable and act on impulses and take. up. space. it’s just. ashley johnson. ashley johnson. ashley johnson.
