!? Do Cozmez actually Trust each other !? ☆ (VD predictions)

- Hey! After reading through the lyrics for Trust Nobody, I feel like it's being strongly hinted that Nayuta is getting tired of Kanata's attitude towards certain things while Kanata is very stressed thanks to his PTSD. I believe there's an insane mix of unfortunate events going on that made stuff turn out this way. Even though I can't understand the VD (where are the people who sub those istg) just the overall vibes and lyrics of Trust Nobody lend me to believe this is the case. So let's speculate about what's going on!!

☆ Part #1 ☆ The lack of Trust (based on Trust Nobody lyrics)

- If you pay attention to the subs, it looks like there's a constant discussion going on through the whole song. Every Kanata verse keeps talking about all the stuff they've gone through as brothers, and how he doesn't Trust anyone besides Nayu. While Nayu acknowledges this, he still pretty much says the opposite about Trust. We have quotes from him like:

"It can't be helped that all can't be mutually understood, pushing values and correctness onto each other, there's no way that can be called Trust. As long as we live, there'll be a difference in our strides."

- Nayuta believes there's no trust between him and Kanata, and that's completely normal. They haven't seen each other for 2 years, Kanata had to deal with strong trauma and changed a lot overtime, while Nayuta was pretty much frozen in time and his life just restarted. Nayuta was used to the old Kanata, so he seems to be bothered by current Kanata. I'm guessing Kanata has been very overprotective (as usual) and trying to force some ideas onto him (like for example, try and make him NOT trust anyone but him). I don't think Nayu can measure just how miserable Kanata becomes when they have disagreements, but he does know he usually starts having a breakdown, so he probably doesn't know how to go around it without getting a frustrating outcome (for him) of Kanata leaving him mid sentence or just exploding on his face. This isn't anyone's fault, they just need to talk it out, but considering Kanata's stubbornness, its really hard for Nayu to even try.

☆ Part #2 ☆ The consequences of Fame? (based on VD sample)

***I'm pretty sure the first part is actually happening, but this part is more based on speculation and what I can gather from the VD without subs, take this with a grain of salt.

- For context, the VD sample seems to begin in an interview. The interviewer brings up Buraikan, which annoys the twins, but especially Kanata. After Buraikan mention, interviewer says another thing which greatly offends Kanata and leads him to complain with Nayuta, who tries to calm him down so they can continue, but Kanata just left all together leaving Nayuta by himself. After this, Kanata encounters some fans, featuring a kid and some girl invading his privacy and taking pics. Kanata reacts violently which scares the fans, until Iori comes to the rescue. SO for what I can gather Kanata seems to not be taking the fame too greatly, which can also impact Nayu's annoyance towards his attitude as of late. Kanata's mind must be pretty busy just by dealing with the stress of being with the REAL Nayu, who's a changing human being (not an illusion now) and is way harder to protect of something like that incident happening again and just the outside world, and this with going to interviews that bring out other artists all the time and pretty much ignore Kana's efforts for achieving his dreams + fans harassing him must be really messing with his mental state, which ends up harming Nayu since Kanata seems to be in a terrible mood without Nayuta knowing why. This can also be a factor as to why Kanata acted the way he did and their overall lack of trust, since

Kanata can't trust Nayuta to survive alone and Nayuta can't trust Kanata to let him live and explore by himself.

- Okay so, this is all I have!! We'll see how close I was when the actual VD releases.... Shiver me timbers. I love analysing Kanata but it's 3am so excuse any grammar errors or typos. 😭😭

rap guerrilla reloaded - paradox live artists: the shift from visty to amprule gets me EVERY SINGLE TIME it's insane (also dongha lowkey slayed)

OK BACK FOR THE PARALIVE RAMBLE.

I think actually reading the voice dramas (again just ask me if wanted and i can send the site where i read them all) does a better job on explaining like. Exactly the plot but ok let's go on a small tldr about what happens

So! Battle 1! Battle 1 happened only between the 4 initial ones (b∆e, tcw, czmz, akyr) and here's how it generally worked by then:

Two units were given a theme, they had to make a song, they sang the song. Along the song, came a voice drama with the two units who received the theme and it gave us some info on them/their dynamics. The themes for the first one and the battles were as following, with the winners being old

Round 1 — Desire (b∆e x czmz), Justice (tcw x akyr)

Round 2 — Pride (b∆e x tcw), Family (czmz x akyr)

Round 3 — Love (tcw x czmz), Vibes (b∆e x akyr)

Something fun to note is that yes, since the beginning there was a heavy b∆e + czmz bias from the fans and the tcw victory in the pride battle was fully accidental. B∆e fans are insane and ALWAYS calculate their votes so they can win... But on the pride battle, they miscalculated and ended up missing a little under 100k points for the final victory

After the round 1 battle, we got the shuffle songs! Aka we got

new & classic (yohei, neoakira, hajun, allen)

club candy (iori, zen, satsuki, anne)

rooftop friends (shiki, nayuta)

lollipop*universe (anne, ryu, nayuta, reo)

suzaku & kanata (can you fucking guess)

beauty & beast (anne, satsuki)

48 & cozmez (again can you fucking guess)

double trouble (yohei, iori)

hokusai with akancatsura (ryu, shiki, hokusai, reo)

After the shuffles, we got to the end of the competition. The major battle for the finals was between cozmez and bae (both were at 12 million with a difference of 400k points for the finals, while akyr and tcw were at 8m/7m respectively), but cozmez ended up winning! And with that they also got the chance to go against buraikan in a battle... And then the fucking place FELL DOWN. and i wish i was kidding on that one but nope. The fucking place FELL. alas hey yk what would be funny. YEAH. SURPRISE NEW UNITS DROP.

And alas. We finish the original paradox live competition and get into the part 2 and the one we are currently one: road to legend. We got voice tracks to introduce us to the newest units (visty, amprule, 1nm8 and gokuluck)

The road to legend works a bit differently: aka a single theme is giving to FOUR (not two) units but they will go on two to two battles, aka we have two themes per round as usual but it's a bit shuffled around so all 8 can participate. We only had one round until now but it went as following

Round 1 — Fate (b∆e x amprule • tcw x 1nm8), Rage (czmz x visty • akyr x gklk)

Aka yeah. As you can see, the original 4 won them all. Because of that we got something known as the consolation match! All 4 new units got new songs (which were all BANGERS) and got to go against each other. They had no theme and could just make w cool sounding song which is what happened. The main battle was between visty and gokuluck fans but gklk still had a easy victory, with 8m compared to vistys 6m (1nm8 had 5m and amprule around 4m)

And this leaves us where we are currently! We just got the road to legend round 2 first two songs (b∆e x tcw again) with the theme of Will, and alas we got No Matter What (tcw) and G∆L∆XY (b∆e) <3 thanks for letting me be autistic and ask me abt anything else i have too much info abt this franchise

hhnghh ..okay.. if i was to listen to paradox live songs. what songs would you recommend. are there any good ones with maruyama in them. or, or rokuta

OK SO UH!!!! all paralive groups have different song styles??? If you enjoy more idol-like songs I'd DEFINITELY say to go to visty, their stuff is very pop-ish and happy and it makes me so very giggly whenever i listen to them!!!!! it also has kantaro and i think youll enjoy kantaro <3

with reo-kun (akan yatsura), non-unit wise id DEFINITELY say to listen to jumpin into my world. Absolute insane good shuffle unit song. Unit-wise im a big fan of license to kill and we are bad boyz!!!

rokuta all 1nm8 songs are good. also arashi's voice actor is there on the unit alongside him. 1nm8 songs are on a more calm and beat-y tune and it's always very <333 i personally like edn but all of them are great!!!!

for the other units, my favorite picks for each would probably be ambitious (b∆e, hiiro AND tori seiyuu), where they at (cozmez), shooting arrows and mercy on me (the cats whiskers, hiyori seiyuu), nobody but me (amprule) and fight for liberty (goku luck)!!!!!

K: We’ll show them the absolute different in true strength and shut those people up. We’ll blow ‘em hard with our insane lyrics and music. The other guys’ll just half-assedly put together lip service to make their lyrics, anyhow. Something like that ain’t hip hop.

N: Yeah. Let’s show those asshole wacks living an easy life what the real thing is like. The winner will be us.

M2: The real deal!? It’s the first time I saw them! Dang…! Ah… I wonder if they’d give me a handshake…

M1: You idiot, don’t even try! By the way, the little brother Nayuta in flesh has a dangerous feel, huh!? Ah, our eyes met…!

K: Oi, it’s you, right, shitty glasses?

M1: Eh!?

K: You said something just now, didn’t ya?

K: Stop whisperin’ and say it clearly, wontcha?

M1: Eh… no, I…

K: What’s that about Nayuta, huh!?

N: Leave it, Kanata!

M1: N-no… it’s nothing…

K: Tch.

N: Don’t pick a fight with the guests, Kanata.

K: Sigh. Yea.

N: Sigh… even so, people are talking as they please, huh, about us.

K: Our surroundings has nothing to do with us. We’ve never had any ally up until now, anyways.

N: Haha, that’s true.

K: Nayuta.

N: Hm?

K: I’m gonna rise up. But I can’t do it alone. It’s meaningless if you’re not here.

N: It’s the same for me, Kanata. Let’s get out of this shitty world. The two of us, together. If it’s for that goal… I’ll give it my everything.

But also !! i would gladly love to hear about more of paralive from you, I really just scratched the surface of it to be honest... like after my hypmic phase I saw it as another franchise with really good music.

THAT'S WHAT I WAS THINKING YESTERDAY. it's like. the more you get deep into these franchises, the more dots you start connecting. as someone who's obsessed with voice acting, everytime i realize that x voice actor actually voiced a character i already knew and i absolutely had no idea i just end up staring at the wall in thought lmao (mostly trying to find any similarities among characters).

about paralive!!!! i'm very new to it and there are still some parts of the plot i don't understand (tho i hope the upcoming anime will fill these holes), but i already listened to all the groups :D it's weird coming from me, cause i literally never listen to rap ??? but yk, every group is different so you eventually end up finding something you like! the music is so good i swear, huge props to both the VAs and the producers cause some instrumentals are INSANE.

i love the characters' stories and this emphasis on trauma and stuff like that - there's so much angst in this series but since i'm so used to rejet franchises / enstars / aaside at this point nothing can hurt me anymore lol.

another thing i appreciate is the canon trans representation !! there are two trans characters (anne and aoi) and both of them are referred to with they/them pronouns in the official english translation <3

last but not least, i need to talk about my fav group :D i like pretty much everything about cozmez. first of all, their color palette! they're literally pastel colored and look so cute and soft. second, their duality. cause they LOOK cute but they can literally tear you to pieces, their music is so aggressive and dark, in some way it fits my tastes too lol. third, their story and bond. i am SO weak for twins cause everything they do brings me to tears; if you even add the fact that their past is absolutely heartbreaking, it's the perfect recipe to make me incredibly soft for them. like, i just need to protect them with my life. they deserve happiness :(

oh btw, i'm absolutely head over heels for the way kanata (the one with long hair) raps. i love raspy voices a normal amount i swear. i like nayuta's style too but damn it's hard to get used to tosshi-kun rapping 😭 still love him tho <3
