Moodboards of my OTP Henry x Wendell (Wenry/Hendell)
On the top row, we have three images representing Henry.
The first image on the left is of a raccoon, representing his singing, top hat-companion, and pet raccoon, Sammy. The second image in the middle is of a football with a football helmet, representing him as a retired football player from the Goose Creek Bruins. And the third image on the right is of a guitar, representing his instrument of choice and his transfer to a music career as the MC of the Country Bear Jamboree.
On the bottom row, we have three images representing Wendell.
The first image on the right is of a mandolin, representing his instrument of choice and his title as the "Mandolin Maestro" of the Country Bear Jamboree. The middle image is of a football, representing the fact that he was literally used as a football by two quarterbacks, which led to his early retirement from his "gridiron career." And the third image on the right is of a skunk, representing Randy the Skunk from the Country Bear Vacation Hoedown and my personal headcanon that Randy is Wendell's pet skunk, whom Wendell begs Henry to let perform with him in the show because he taught Randy how to tap dance. (I'm sorry, but Randy has too much of Wendell's chaotic energy to not be his pet.)
The middle image in the middle row of the first moodboard is a framed poster of Wendell and Henry as the musical comedy duo they are, and I just adore it.
I couldn't pick which moodboard I liked best, so I decided to post all three. The quotes are from two songs I like and associate with Henry and Wendell. Not because I headcanon Wendell sounding exactly like Ogie (Christopher Fitzgerald) from Waitress or anything. *Eyes nervously shifting from left to right* 😳👉👈

Im quite curious actually
what did get you guys into the country bears? share your stores :]
For me, my brother randomly airdropped the show to our TV and I was like.. "Hahaha... WHAT THE F-" At first I was really skeptical about it out of context, and once he saw it annoyed me OF COURSE he would use it against me like some punishment or for no reason at all.
"I'M GONNA PUT ON THE BEARS!!!"
"GOD NO-"
he did this every morning if not he would play the full show once or even THREE times a day. It would be on but I wouldn't pay attention to it, but still, I went insane.
Until my brother was in the bathroom
I paid attention to it for the first time, it was vacation hoedown
and it was time for Ernests song
I VIVIDLY REMEMBER THE ONLY THING THAT PLAYED IN MY HEAD IN THE MOMENT WAS
"LET HIM COOK MAN LET HIM COOK!!!!"
from that moment on I kinda had a silly little character development arc with these redneck bears and don't find them to torture anymore
and I grew to be WAAAAAAY WORSELY attached to my brother. he's been concerned for me :]
so yeah
(small stori the first time i saw wendell was the crismus speshul, and boy i thought he was speshul alright 💗)

Bunny
Bunny appears in the Country Bear Jamboree show in both Walt Disney World and Tokyo Disneyland alongside her identical sisters. She stands in between her sisters, Bubbles and Beulah as they sing All The Guys That Turn Me On Turn Me Down and appears in the finale Ole Slew Foot as the bears try and drown out Big Al in the regular show.
In the Vacation Hoedown show, she also stands in the middle, but wears a sailor suit type bikini as the triplets sing California Bears and join in at the end for Thank God I’m A Country Bear, while in the Japanese version, the final song is a medley of Camptown Races/She’ll Be Coming Round The Mountain/Vacation.
In the Country Bear Jamboree Christmas Special, known in Tokyo as Jingle Bell Jamboree, Bunny is still standing in the middle, but is the only one of the triplets not to be dressed in a red Santa suit as she wears green. In this show, the triplets sing Sleigh Ride and appear at the end for a medley of Let It Snow/Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer/Winter Wonderland, while in the Japanese version, the medley is Santa Claus Is Coming To Town/Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer/Winter Wonderland.
While the Vacation Howdown and Christmas Special shows have since stopped in Walt Disney World, they do still run in Tokyo.

once again thinking about country bear vacation hoedown… specifically teddi’s part
honestly it’s the best teddi song in all 3 shows, not only do i think her voice sounds the best, henry’s background vocals are much more present than the other 2 shows and i find that so cute and romantic 😭☹️‼️
i really want to make a “why country bear vacation hoedown is the best show” type vid or slides presentation BECAUSE IT IS. and i won’t take any shit for this…… but maybe that’ll be a summer project
