xxv: Copycat & Nightcrawler
The mutants stepped into the dimly lit bar with Kurt using his nano mask to look human, Cat's eyes were brown as well as her hair. M.O.U.S.E. was hidden in her ear and the paw-shaped pin was placed above her breast, ready to be used.
"So who are we looking for?"
"Bob."
"Who's that?"
"You don't need to know," Cat sat down and Kurt followed her example.
"I didn't think I'd be doing this with you again," he smiled. "I'd missed it."
"What? Visiting bars together?"
"The missions. Our paths drifted apart, I thought this would never happen again."
"I always knew we'd do this again," she confessed. "I didn't know if it'd be an 'us-against-them' or 'us-helping-out-the-good-guys' kind of situation, though."
"And which one is it?"
"None, we're settling scores here," she sniffed at a drink that had been left beside her. "And this is definitely urine."
"I wouldn't say that when the bartender is five feet away, he'll take a dump on yours and call it olives," spoke a man behind her.
Cat smiled. "You're late, Bob."
The young woman looked at Kurt and nodded at the man beside her. "Bob was a Hydra agent, he gets stuff for Rocket when he comes to visit."
"Do you have what we need?" Kurt inquired.
"Do you have the dough?"
She raised a brow. "If you're so eager to get it, I'll stuff it up your ass so you don't lose it."
The man groaned. "Fine, the dough can wait."
"Start talking, then."
"Well, Jigsaw's getting close to the top."
"How?"
"Mainly thanks to you," he shrugged, "you sent all of his opponents back to jail: The powerbroker, Kingpin... those who are left are no challenge. He's got the money and the brute force."
"Kraven?"
"You," he smirked. "Says you haven't gone around killing because he's got you locked in a cage."
"He's not wrong," she said through gritted teeth. "What's his point, that he'll let me out on a murderous spree if they don't do what he says?"
"That he'll send Kraven to get them, and he'll lock them up in your cage so you can finish the job."
"Wait, but Cat wasn't out in the field for long, and when she was a Gorgon no one knew she was Copycat—"
"These people knew about me way before I was an Avenger, Smurf," she explained, "you didn't know cause you were in space, but when I came back I spent half a year hunting down mobsters in New York, treated it like a fun hobby."
Kurt's face was a mix of emotions. He whispered angrily. "Why would you do that?"
Cat shrugged. "I was sad."
He groaned. "Dumbass."
"The point is that they learned to fear me, and when I became an Avenger they got real quiet, and then I disappeared. Kingpin and Russo came back..."
"And then you and Hawkeye put Kingpin in a cell, and Russo hired Kraven to get you."
"And the fact that he's got a personal vendetta towards Agent Zero didn't help my case," she sighed. "He was fortunate, his biggest obstacles ended up being just one."
"So everyone thinks he's got Mimi," Kurt resumed, "and no one will touch him thanks to that. If he becomes the new powerbroker..."
"This world won't be safe for us," Cat finished. "Mutants will be hunted and forced to work for Russo. He saw how efficient we are, and he's not willing to give that up."
"Let's find him before that happens," Kurt looked at Bob. "Any ideas?"
"I don't know where he is," Bob said. "But I know where his boys are."
Every man and woman in the establishment got up and looked at them.
Cat tensed. "Fantastic."
"So much for going undercover," Kurt reached for his blaster.
"Wait," Cat grabbed his wrist.
"What?"
"No guns," she said.
"Are you out of your mind?" He whispered angrily.
"Let's use our natural skill, or it'll get rusty," she winked at him, then raised her voice. "Alright, which one of you is gonna give us the bad-boy speech?"
A redheaded woman stepped forward. "We have orders to take you... dead or alive."
"That's funny," Cat replied. "I have orders to skin you alive— do you want me to do that while you're conscious or after you stop breathing?"
"Get them!"
Kurt teleported to a different side of the room while Cat used Wanda's powers to seize the guys in front of her and hurled them back, tackling half a dozen others in the process. She pressed the paw above her breast and the suit covered her body.
"Bob, you fucking idiot!" Cat ran after him before he could take cover, she caught him by the throat and slammed him against the bar. "Rocket's gonna be so angry when he finds out I killed you!"
Someone jumped at her back and pulled her away from the man. Cat pressed her earpiece to turn on her visor.
"Mouse, call our backup!"
"Activating Merc protocol."
"I really didn't want to do this!" She used her spear to hit a man on the back of the head.
At the other side of the bar, Kurt was teleporting in and out of sight, taking down people in the process. "You called the backup?"
"It's coming!" Cat kicked a person out of her way and caught Bob a second time by the back of his jacket, she sank her claws in the fabric and threw him behind the bar. "Stay down or I swear to god I'll cut your dick off!"
Someone grabbed her by the hair, dragging her across the bar's surface. She was thrown harshly, and a huge man stood before her, all covered in scars.
"Hi tiny," she coughed.
Kurt crashed against the shelves, and multiple bottles fell over him.
"They're enhanced!" He warned her.
Nightcrawler teleported away before a woman could set him on fire. The shelves caught up in flames at an alarming speed. Cat teleported away before the giant could stomp her with his foot.
"I'm not gonna waste my energy on this," she muttered to herself, grabbing someone by the back of the head and teleporting them to the bathroom. She walked out of it pushing her curls out of the way.
Kurt shot someone in the back. "I wouldn't hate it if you stab at some of them at least once!"
Cat saw the giant man pointing his gun at Kurt's head, she opened her mouth to warn him but a large blade went right through the man's chest before she could even speak. The giant dropped his weapon and blood spluttered out of his mouth.
"Took you long enough!" She scowled at the figure behind the man.
The katana was drawn out as the body fell, Deadpool stepped over the body. "I was buying a smoothie." The mercenary had a pink drink in his hand, with signs of being recently made, and he was sipping at it casually while watching the mutants fight for their lives.
"Don't stand there, start killing!" Cat urged him.
"I thought you didn't want to kill!" Kurt broke a bottle on someone's head.
"I won't, he will!" She claimed.
Deadpool swung his katana and cut someone's arm before they could shoot him. His arrival had caused panic, several people were shooting at him but he walked through it slaying whoever he pleased.
Cat split her spear in two and turned off the blades. "We need one alive so they tell us where to find Russo!"
"Got it!" Kurt knocked someone out and left them on top of a pile of bodies.
"The puzzle boy? I know where he is," Deadpool threw his katana sideways and impaled someone against a wall.
Kurt and Cat looked at him. "What?"
"He's uptown," he finished his smoothie and slammed the empty cup on someone's face. It was glass.
"Why didn't you say so!" She demanded.
Deadpool sounded annoyed. "You never said that's what you wanted. Communication is key, Hello Kitty, and if you don't—"
Cat teleported to his side and took the katana that was still strapped to his back, shoving it onto the hand that'd previously been holding his smoothie. "Take us to Russo."
Deadpool pushed his mask down to cover his mouth, he went to retrieve his other katana from the wall and unstuck it from the dead man. Cat seized one of the last few guys standing that were trying to kill her and pushed him sideways, Wade slashed his throat in turn.
"You're paying extra for that?"
"Take Bob's money," she pointed over to the bar.
"Bob from Hydra?" Deadpool approached the spot. "Bob! What are you doing covered in tequila? Thought you'd quit, buddy!"
Kurt slammed a chair on top of someone, Cat teleported and tased the person he'd been fighting with her baton. The stranger fell, and they were free to go. Cat approached Bob and Deadpool, he'd jumped over the bar.
She stared at the mercenary for a moment. "When I said 'take Bob's money', I meant the pay I was going to give him, not his wallet."
"Should've said so sooner, I already took it," Deadpool threw the leather item away. "It's so nice to see you again, babe. Though I like you better in blue."
"I'll turn into Smurfette if you take us to the jigsaw," she offered, the usual playfulness in her voice was nowhere to be found.
He put an arm around her shoulders and walked her out of the establishment. "You coming, Kurt?"
The young man put his blaster away. "As long as you don't touch me... you smell weird."
Tumblr media
"So what's the plan now?"
"We kill Russo," the two men looked at her and she shrugged. "He knows we're here, what's the point?"
"That is so dumb I'm going to ignore it, here's the new plan," Deadpool handed her a gun, which she dropped back inside his bag. "I clear out the way for you, you have a nice chit-chat with your ex—"
"How do you know I dated him?"
"Knockoff, you and I share many traits, and I'm not even talking about the trauma," he hung his bag on one shoulder and walked past her.
"You're saying you dated him too?" Cat made a face. "I was hoping you had better taste."
"What? No, that guy sucks," Wade scoffed. "But we are willing to sleep with anyone if we're lonely enough, it wasn't hard to guess, sweetheart."
"Oh, don't pretend you have to be lonely in order to sleep with anyone," she taunted him.
"Sorry," Kurt spoke up. "It's not like I wish to interrupt your disgusting exchange, but what do you mean Cat and you share traits?"
"That is a great question and so convenient to connect the plots!" Wade replied. "I'm one of Dr. Killebrew's freaks."
Kurt frowned. "Which lab were you in?"
"Canada," he answered casually. "You guys blew it up while I was there."
"What's your name again?"
"Deadpool," the man offered to shake Kurt's hand, but his glove had old bloodstains in it and Kurt stared at it with disgust. "I'm the sole reason why this part of the story even exists. Someone really wanted me to show up, and I'd hate to disappoint my fans."
"I... what?" Kurt glanced at her.
"He spits nonsense from time to time but is nothing to worry about," she dismissed it. "Wade, if you can clear out the path for us, I'll let you do it, but you have to make sure it won't alert Russo before we get to him."
"Sure," he said, eyes glued to his phone. Cat could've sworn he wasn't texting a second ago.
"What the hell..." she approached to snatch the phone out of his hand, glimpsing at the screen. "Are you texting Russo?!"
"Hey, no snooping!" He kept her away at arm's length, he was considerably bigger than her, so it wasn't that hard. "It's all part of the plan, Kitty."
"You're selling us to Billy!"
"What?" Kurt reached for his blaster.
"Calm down," Deadpool finished the text and sent it. "He pays well, and for you, he will double it. I'm just working smarter, not harder, kiddos."
"Is money all you think about?" She huffed.
He snorted. "Is there anything  better?"
She paused. "You got me."
Deadpool laughed shortly. "No, you get me, that's why we're such good friends. Besties. Baes, Bias, Comfort characters—"
"Oh my god, just sell us to Russo already," Kurt groaned.
"Is it really all part of a plan?" Cat asked him.
"Do you really think I would sell you out for real only to get a hundred big ones?" He placed a hand over his chest. "You and I have a past! That's at least three million."
"I don't know if it's because you're insane, but I really believe you're not lying," she looked at Kurt. "Worst case scenario we kill two people instead of one, huh?"
"You can't kill me, though."
"No but I can embarrass you," Deadpool tilted his head, and she took it back. "Yeah no, I can't do that either. Man, you're even worse than I am."
Kurt's shoulders fell. "You really don't believe him, right? He's Deadpool."
She shrugged. "Nothing beats the element of surprise, right? Improvising used to be our thing."
"When we were teenagers!" He exclaimed.
"Wade's basically a giant toddler," Cat turned to the mercenary. "Okay, Pool. Do your thing."

Hey does anyone know any like. Good security breach rewrites w/ Vanessa being the protagonist while keeping her and Vanny as the ‘same person’ (<- wants to see of anyone else has picked up on the missed potential that is the psychological horror of it all) (if not i can and will start going into depth on my rewrite sooner. Because i am deranged)

Copycat Ch 17: A Royal Occasion
Ao3
If Felix was Chat Sith as Marinette suspects, she now really wonders what his and Plagg’s dynamic is like. First day with Plagg, Marinette has found that he is like having an actual cat. Mostly, Plagg sticks to himself, naps much of the day, and explores.  It was actually easy to forget he was there. Unlike Tikki who always hovered close in her peripheral vision, he was good at giving her space and did his own thing.  But when he wanted attention, he made sure he had attention.  When Marinette was sketching, and Plagg wanted her to focus on him, he plopped himself down in the middle of the page and told her he was hungry.  When Marinette was working on homework, she jumped when she felt fuzz around her neck, and Plagg was pacing around her shoulders, rubbing his body about and didn’t settle until her finger was stroking his head.  And sometimes he kept her on her toes by messing with her yarn and thread.  Marinette found herself torn between endearment, amusement, and annoyance. Plagg was her guest though, and it was her job to care for the kwami as best she could.  Not that Tikki approved or liked it.

I was thinking about this all day but: I like to think after all the Tarn and Megatronus Prime shit goes down and they're both dead, at least someone (more likely: multiple someones) decide to group all of the Tarn fics together in a sub-archive and tap a few warnings saying "Hey, there's a bunch of these, the guy who wrote these is dead, and most of them are barely tagged if at all, so here's a general warning that some these fics may contain some seriously fragged up stuff."
Some poor spark might try and go through them just to tag them more, but dear lord that would be one hell of a task.

XL: (Almost) Three Years Later
Darkness.
Cat woke up to the feeling of sheets restraining her from moving properly.
"What..." She pushed the tangled mess away, the noise of an alarm going off making her remember that today was the start of summer. A fluffy white cat jumped onto the bed then, purring loudly. "I'm going, Felix..."
The woman got up groggily and dragged her feet to the bathroom with Felix running between her legs. She opened the door and turned on the lights, then she looked at her reflection: Brown curls fell messily down her back. Her eyes were naturally drawn to the scars around her throat, but she didn't think much of them, her gaze caught something behind her, and her brows furrowed in annoyance.
"Peter!" Cat marched out of the room, fully awake. "I told you to put the suits near the window! They're gonna smell!"
The man looked up from his breakfast on the kitchen aisle with wide, stunned eyes. His lips pressed together in a guilty smile. "I completely forgot, I'm sorry."
The mutant sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. "Well, they're your problem now, I'm leaving today, remember?"
He got up and grabbed Cat's cup to pour coffee into it. "Yeah, and take Felix with you, I don't think he liked living in my tiny ass apartment."
Cat looked at her pet sympathetically. "I guess we can't expect him to like this place— we can't win compared to the huge garden back in the compound."
"Speak for yourself, this is a win for me," Peter snorted, handing her the coffee.
Cat glared at him. "Shut up."
"I really did try to love him, you know," he pouted. "But that little jerk can't stand me. What am I supposed to do?"
"If you had given him treats..."
"Oh, so I'm not trying hard enough?"
Cat chuckled. "No, I don't think you are, to be honest. I think you're determined to hate Felix."
He diverted his gaze to the wall and muttered. "He started it..."
The mutant pressed a kiss to his cheek. "I'll take him back. You two are clearly unhappy, and I bet Wanda misses him anyway..."
"What time are you leaving?" Parker checked his watch.
"Before you go to work, I already called May to remind her I won't be going to the welfare."
He looked up from his wristwatch and smiled with just a hint of sorrow. "I'll miss you."
"I'll be back. I always am," Cat walked back towards their closet and started to get dressed.
"Maybe," he sat down by the kitchen. "Last Christmas things were looking sus..."
"Well, if things get complicated, there is very little I can do to make them go faster," she replied calmly. "But I'll report back every week like I always do, still alive and well and all of that..."
"So romantic," he teased her.
"They call me Dr. Love."
"I'm the Doctor," he vaguely nodded at the degree on their living room wall. "You'll be called a teacher, in a year's time. So it's more like Miss Love..."
"Miss Jane Love," she mused.
"MJ-Love for short," Parker quipped without thinking.
They froze. Then Cat burst out laughing.
"Shut up!" She turned away from him, still shaking with giggles.
"Why?" Parker was laughing too. "You were right! I have an MJ..."
Cat finished dressing and went back to him, hugging him sideways. He tilted his head up to kiss her. "The Parker luck working miracles, no doubt..."
He looked at his watch again and frown, unable to ignore what was about to happen. "Almost time..."
Cat planted a sweet kiss on the top of his head. "Have to hurry..."
"Try to have fun," he continued as Cat walked around the apartment picking up her stuff. "Tell everyone I say hi, and tell Harley to take a break or he'll go bald before he's thirty!"
"He's thirty already, Bug, his birthday was last month," she reminded him.
"Before he's forty then, that still stings."
Cat snorted. "Any other message you want me to deliver?"
"Yes. Tell Happy I love him."
She laughed. "Will do."
Cat put Felix in his carrier, placed M.O.U.S.E. in her ear, and stood in the middle of the room with all her stuff ready. Parker grabbed his laptop bag and hung it over his shoulder, he walked up to her and Cat fixed his collar.
"All done," she cupped his face.
"Good luck," Parker pulled her close with one arm and nuzzled his nose against hers. "I'll be right here to welcome you back."
"I know," Cat pecked his lips briefly. "I love you."
The man leaned down and kissed her deeply, he pecked her lips two more times after that, shortly and sweetly. "Love you too."
Parker stepped back so Cat had enough room, then she tapped on the device on her wrist and quickly flashed out of sight.
Tumblr media
The mutant landed with her bag and the cat carrier directly in front of the main entrance. A woman's voice came from her left.
"Identify yourself, please."
"Hi, Edith! It's C.C."
"Scan complete. Subject identified—Copycat: the first young avenger." The doors opened. "Welcome back, C.C."
Cat pressed the paw-shaped pin on her shirt, the nanosuit quickly wrapping her body. She was close to being late for the summer meeting, so she hurriedly walked into the main hall and stopped only to release Felix, who mewled loudly and ran out in the direction of the garden.
"Copy!" Kamala rushed down the stairs to meet her. "You're just in time!"
"Hi, chipmunk," she picked up the empty carrier. "Everyone here already?"
"Yeah but before you go in, there's something I need to ask you," she held onto Cat's arm, looking up at her with her best puppy eyes.
"College applications got you in a chokehold?" Cat guessed. "I told you to ask for a recommendation letter! I think Bruce is a good option, he can be bribed easily—"
"I want you to write it," Kamala interrupted her, blushing a little. "If you've got time. Please."
"Me?" Cat tilted her head. "But I'm—I'm not—"
"You're a great choice," the girl insisted. "You were the first of us, and you're still one of the best! Please?" She pouted.
Hilarious how now she was asked to write recommendation letters after she'd spent the majority of her youth making the government's work ten times harder. "Alright. Anything else?"
"The summer stuff you told me I could try, to make my curriculum look better?"
"Oh, you can ask Webs for those!" Cat said, walking towards her room. "I know he helps a welfare— he works with tons of places that are always looking for volunteers, I'm sure he can find you a spot."
"Can you also talk to Harley so he accepts Bruno at the Stark internship? I meant it when I said he'll fall apart if he doesn't get it—"
"I'll see what I can do," Cat laughed. "Go to the meeting."
Kamala hugged her. "So great to have you back."
Cat kept walking until she got to her room. She left her bag on the bed, then she approached the window and opened it so the place was fresh by the time nighttime arrived. The woman opened her closet and drew out her teal-colored cape, hanging it around her shoulders. As she walked out she shifted back to her purple eyes and light hair. She also drew out her claws.
The mutant sighed in bliss, she loved her life as Jane, but wearing Copycat's iridescent suit was something else. She still couldn't pick which world she preferred, but that was because she'd learned to love both with the same intensity.
Before entering the conference room, she stopped in the hallway to see some old friends. There, on the wall, they'd hung the pictures of fallen heroes: Nat, Steve, Tony, Pietro, T'Challa...
She lightly pressed one hand over her brother's picture. "Hi, Pi..." her gaze softened. "I'm still having fun."
"Bet he is, too," a voice said behind her. "Watching all the people in clown costumes arrive here every summer."
"Ugh! I'd missed that voice," she turned to face Harley. "Wish I could keep on missing it in silence."
He opened his arms and Cat stepped in to hug him. "Let's go, Stray, they're waiting."
She looked back at her old friends and blew them a kiss. "See you guys later!"
He nudged her arm. "How's Ben doing?"
"He's doing his best, as usual," she sighed, smiling a little. "Starting a company is no easy job."
"I wonder why he decided to use his savings for Parker Industries instead of buying a house for the two of you."
"Hey, our place is enough for the both of us! And we'll move out eventually, when the time's right."
"How's school?"
"Never thought I'd go for it, but here I am," she grinned. "Matthew did say I could pick that up at any moment so... how is he, by the way?"
"Still works for us sometimes... I think he and Karen are dating again."
Cat raised a brow. "Well, now I have to see that for myself. What will it be," she pondered. "Ten bucks?"
"Twenty. Bet that if you get them drunk enough, they'll forget you're there and they'll kiss."
Cat shook his hand laughing. "You're on!" She faced the white doors ahead and fixed her cape. "How many?"
"The regulars. Is Shuri coming?"
Cat smiled knowingly. "Why, you'll finally gather enough courage to ask her out?"
Harley blushed. "Don't you dare say anything to her without my consent!"
"Wouldn't dream of it, Junior," she tilted her head in realization. "You've grown that nickname out, don't ya think? Should I start calling you 'Senior'? Ben says you'll be bald by the time you're forty because you never take breaks."
"I could say the same about him," he scoffed. "Talking about exhausted, I bet Pepper will call you on behalf of Morgan so you go out together, she's barely thirteen but she's proving to be as much of a demanding princess as his dad was."
Cat laughed. "So much to do and I just got here! I love it."
Harley pushed the doors open and Cat stepped into the Avengers meeting with a confident air. Lots of eyes turned in her direction, some were on familiar faces, others were new, some young, others old.
"Hi, Cat!" Kate was standing at the other end of the table, next to Sam. She smiled at the mutant widely. "We were waiting for you."
"Your suffering is over, I'm here!" Cat took a seat between Spider-man and the Guardians' projection.
"Welcome back, toddler," Rocket said in his raspy voice. Kurt winked and waved at her without saying anything.
Webs nudged her arm and spoke quietly. "Everything okay?"
"Yeah," she whispered. "How are you?"
"Spectacular," Cat heard the smile in his voice. "I thought you'd be a little anxious this time."
"Why?"
"The ticking," Peter tilted his head. "In a few months, it'll be three years since you left. How are you feeling?"
Cat was shocked to discover she hadn't been keeping count. Life had gone by, but she'd been so busy she'd barely felt it. The thought that things could end at any moment did show up sometimes, but it went away faster nowadays, it wasn't meaningful to her anymore.
Yes, the three-year milestone was approaching, but she'd stopped thinking of it as an ending, instead, the ticking was the sound of a path sprouting under her feet. The genesis of a new, exciting story. There she was, about to turn thirty, and with zero clues of what tomorrow would bring.
All she had was dreams, but so far, they had been enough.
"You know, Webs," Cat said at last, eyes bright with amusement. "I'm looking forward to it."
The End.

Round Two [1.8k] (ao3) Sequel to Copycat!
Of all the things in the world, Dean can’t help but fixate on Castiel’s hands.
Objectively, they’re just hands, a collection of bone and muscle and skin, but somehow, they’re different from any other hands on the planet, from the way Castiel’s fingers expertly wield weapons to performing mundane activities like turning pages or holding coffee mugs. Some days, Dean watches Castiel move just because he can, and physically longs for Castiel’s touch all the while, with a craving he can’t escape and hasn’t bothered to try, at least not for a few years.
Castiel’s touch, Dean savors. Sometimes the tips of his fingers grace Dean’s shoulder or his wrist; others, Castiel treats him rougher, grabbing ahold of his bicep, his nape, his hair by the root. A gentle tap to the chin turns to a hand around his throat, to a palm spread over his breastbone, to his stomach, where Dean trembles, where he lusts. Somewhere along the way, the occasional bump or nudge turned to something more sinful, baser, so unholy that Dean wonders how Castiel can stand it, sullying his Grace with humanity, with him.
Because every chance Castiel gets—every time Dean gets him into an empty room—they can’t keep their hands off each other, fingers and mouths and skin to places he rarely ever touched, at least until now.
Now, Castiel holds him with those same hands, fingers squeezing Dean’s hips, palms pressed flushed to his sweating skin. Dean grips the sheets of the motel bedspread, grappling for something, anything to hold onto as Castiel lines up and shoves in for what feels like the hundredth time. Slick, he slides in and resumes his tortuous pace, with Dean’s hips in his lap and Dean’s calves clamped around the backs of Castiel’s thighs, toes curled and heels digging into the knotted comforter.
“Cas,” he huffs, head thrown back. Amid the noise of skin against skin, Dean picks up something else, the noise that Castiel told him to ignore for as long as he could. Said noise comes from the other side of the room, where in a corner armchair, a man sits. Dean imagines him, dressed in that stupid dusty coat and worn-out black suit, his tie gone, shirt buttons popped open.
He shouldn't look—Castiel told him not to, but Dean has never been one to follow the rules, at least not to the letter. One eye open, he watches Castiel, here but also there, one hand resting atop the chair’s arm while the other wraps around his throbbing cock, precome and lube slicking his grip. Dean whines, and Castiel leers. The other Castiel, the one intent to torment him for hours on end, slows his thrusts and kisses him, re-earning his attention, until Dean forgets which Castiel is real and which is the carbon copy.
