Hi! Happy to see you are interested in my art 😊 Here you can find all the important information regarding my commissions.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?

I offer digital art commissions for personal use. I’m a self-taught artist and I draw in a particular style I’m comfortable with. You can see my work on my general art-only blog and under #my art tag on my Dragon Age sideblog and see if it appeals to you. Please, don’t ask me to draw in a different style (like realism or your favorite cartoon). I usually draw OCs and fanart, including both human/humanoid characters and animals. For more details, please find DOs and DON’Ts below.

PRICES:

The sketch is monochrome, with one or two values added (example).

Elaborate details (complicated armors, wings etc.) can affect the price. Please contact me to discuss the details.

The basic price for flat color and shaded pictures includes a very simple background (gradient or pattern) (example). If you wish to have a picture with more detailed background (example), it will affect the price. Please contact me to discuss the details.

Any additional character costs 60% of the original price. If the picture includes one human and one animal, the 60% price would apply to the animal character.

I will inform you about any of these additional costs after receiving references and before starting the first sketch

COMMISSION PROCESS

when your commission is accepted you will be added to the queue (I don’t accept more that 3 commissions at the time. If there are no open slots, you will be informed and we can discuss another term in the future).

I will ask you to provide references for your commission – screenshots, photos, short OC description etc. The more the better :) We can discuss what you expect to find on the picture, its mood, colors, anything you find important.

after receiving references, I make a concept sketch, showing poses, faces and basic elements of armor/clothing and I send it to you. At this point you can request any changes you want. Once you accept the sketch, I will request a payment via PayPal and will continue working on the picture after receiving payment. Then we can still make midpoints for providing corrections (for example after finishing lineart or flat color) if you'd like, but the changes should not to be drastic at this point.

it will take 1-3 weeks for me to complete your commission. Full body and colored art will take more time than a bust sketch. If there is any unexpected delay on my part, I will inform you immediately

after I finish your commission you will receive a final full resolution art. If you commission a colored art I can send you an additional file with lineart.

TERMS OF USE

commissioned art is for your private use only and cannot be used in any commercial way (prints, merchandise etc.).

if you want to post the commission from your Tumblr account please credit me by adding @bluekaddis or @rainhowls-arts so I can find and reblog it.

PAYMENT

I accept PayPal payments ($ or EURO). If you are from Poland you can also pay in PLN via bank transfer

Email subject must be “ Commission (insert username/url)”

In the email/message clarify the type you want, I work with visual descriptions mainly// (the more of references you send the better/), same goes for preffered poses, and a short description of the character (what are they like, or what show they are from,etc..) I will add a small fee If theres no previous art of your character since it will be a design from me as well// (this doesnt aply for reference sheets though//)

please mention possible deadlines (birthday/christmas gifts, etc.)

I have the right to refuse a request for any reason

All payments are in USD and through Paypal and only via invoice/

After I’m done with the sketch I’ll let you know and you can make changes to the sketch in that time. When you approve the sketch I’ll send you an invoice through your Paypal email. I’ll continue working on the commission after once the price has been paid.

once I’m done with your drawing I will send you a high-res file of the image (usually 200dpi / up to 2000px)

I will probably upload your requested drawing on social media (here on tumblr and on my twitter). if you’re not okay with that, please let me know beforehand! (If you’ll be okay with it please add your URL so I can tag you in the finished picture/)

you can ask for more WIP images of your commission as well //

If you have any specific flowers/details you want to add let me know//

as part of my trans agenda (transgenda, if you will) i’m offering a special round of commissions focused on transing your favorite characters. as trans bodies come in all kinds of forms, if there are any visual traits you want me to include / highlight / focus on please let me know! i'll always make adjustments to sketches before coloring, so don’t be shy about asking for changes if needed.

for these comms references are especially encouraged. if you like a trans piece i’ve made in the past you’re more than welcome to include that as a reference. otherwise this is a fanart only round. i’d like to do a separate batch focused on trans ocs at a later date. this one is all about being visible and celebrating characters that have been important to our trans journeys!
