dear whoever asked for the flower ask game post, the draft function ate my attempt at answering the ask so here they are:
abelia ⇢ do you have a particular piece of jewelry you always wear or can’t part with?
I actually have a bunch of jewelry I almost never take off, some because of the piercing itself and others because I just don't feel like myself without it at this point. I have an anklet and wear rings on 4 fingers that I have on all the time, and then my cartilage and septum piercings stay in all the time too.
The rings are from a bunch of different places I've traveled to so they're sentimental, and the anklet is a bracelet that my grandmother gave me before she passed that didn't fit my wrist haha.

A little bit more crochet here and there, I made 8 hats in the last 2-3 months of 2023 and haven't burned out on crocheting yet surprisingly. Also, got some hand woodworking tools for Christmas I'm excited to start using soon!

Goblin Recipes
Squash Gems
Ingredients:
2/3c. Mashed squash (grandma recommends zucchini)
1c. Milk
1/2c. Sugar
1 well beaten egg
2c. Flour
1tsp. Baking soda
3tsp. Baking powder
1/4tsp. Salt
2T. Melted butter
Optional: Jam
Instructions:
Wash and quarter squash then cook 30 mins until tender in a steamer or colonder over boiling water OR chop and microwave 4mins at a time while stirring to make mashed squash.
Combined mashed squash and milk, stir in sugar and egg. Mix the dry ingredients and sift them into the wet mixture. Add butter and beat thoroughly. Pour into a hot greased muffin tin and bake at 400° F for 20 minutes or for mini muffins 14 minutes. Makes 1 1/2 dozen regular or 1 dozen regular and 1 dozen mini.
Optional: add a spoonful of jam of any kind (my favorite is apricot) on top of each muffin before baking for added sweetness.
