Letting go of college athletics has been tough for Nikki Harrison. The Carl Albert senior, who initially went to the college to play basketball before the athletic program was cut off after the 2016 season, posted a .278 batting average and scored a team-high 43 runs in 53 games in the 2018 softball season. But Harrison this year has traded the softball diamond for the clinic as she wraps up the college’s two-year physical therapist assistant program. “Going to practice, that really makes me miss it,” Harrison said. “But I had an awesome experience at Carl Albert; I had awesome teachers and coaches; they’re always willing to help out if I need anything.” Follow the link in our bio to read more about Harrison.
