QUESTION OF PAIN:
How often has poor Abby had to deal with people being shitty, that she is ready to believe that her best friends would bring her all the way over to somewhere, plan an entire event, just to make fun of her (like some sick teenage prank from a horror movie)?
Abby is a goddamn treasure and she deserves better.
QUESTION OF POTENTIAL PAIN:
Rose came out in middle school. How'd her parents handle that? Or did they just not care about anything regarding her or her personal life so long as it didn't get in the way of using her powers for their own gain?

OKAY PAIN TO NO PAIN HERE WE GO!
Abby was always the more extroverted and loud kid growing up. She had a huge family so she literally grew up needing to be loud, but the rarely translated well to a school setting. She got picked on a lot as a kid, mainly people pretending to be interested in her hobbies only to laugh in her face once she started ranting about things. She had a strong support system at home so she got through middle and high school, but the memories of those "jokes" always left a scar in the back of her mind.
They genuinely didn't care who Rose was interested in. When Rose came out, her parents saw it as an act of rebellion, nothing more. So they simply made her so busy that she wouldn't have time to explore that part of herself. There was no use to let her date anyone that wasn't going to improve their social and financial standing. Crushes would simply be a distraction that had to be avoided.
Abby and Dear wound up falling asleep on each other on the couch while Rose fell asleep in the recliner chair, but not before laying a blanket over the both of them.
Abby kept them up for a few hours after the audio ended, but they ended up watching a movie together to cool down from all the questions.
Exscaleibur was brought back out and got all the snuggles from Abby! As he deserves
Abby woke up first and made breakfast for everyone!

I'VE NEVER SEEN HER DEATH SCENE BEFORE AND I AM JUST--SO UPSET??? Like I'm not someone who gets overly emotional with video games usually, but that shit HURTS? SO MUCH??
I wanna know how we got out of the trunk but then just left her ass. Like even if she was dead by that point why did we not at least get her body? (Maybe to maintain cover but if they already know Lin is a Saint who cares). Left my girl FLOATING IN THE RIVER.
ALSO FUUUCK the dude who kidnaps/kills her because he was WAY too creepy towards her. Like the way he talks to her makes me feel so eugh.
Just everything about her death is WILD and for WHAT? Just to kill the best female character in the game? WACK DECISIONS.

Can I just say how much I appreciate how you managed to:
-Break down an entire series with interesting snippets without massive spoilers
-Give some insight for those who charge from one book to the next, versus those who don't (Hi, I am both of these people)
-Went over the comic and gave some actual insight to who may or may not like it (versus just going "This doesn't follow at all, ergo it sucks")
-Read a multi-book series in 48 hours (holy shit, I miss having that power, you are incredibly skilled and impressive)
It is seriously helpful to anyone looking for a new book/series, and I am absolutely going to check out the Innkeeper Chronicles now.

When giving reviews, I try to provide the kind of information I'd want to know. Glad I seem to have been successful!
As far as the comic goes (and for every other story I don't enjoy), I try to appreciate it for what it does, not what I wanted it to do. It's not always an easy task.
I think it helps that I love this series so much and am also a voracious consumer of webtoon type comics. Made it easy to see why some of the changes were made. (There were still some changes that legitimately made zero sense to me, which is why I said readers of the books wouldn't enjoy the comic version)

Your laugh is amazing. It is sweet, and fun, and full of life, and is such a pure expression of joy/enjoyment that I honestly I would happily listen to it just because it makes the day seem a little bit brighter.
(May have already done so a few times, if we're being honest lol)
I won't tell you that you have to like something about yourself, cause that's not my call to make, but wanted to at least add to the affirmation that yes, there are people who absolutely adore you and your laugh ^_^

Would you be willing to tell us more about your ghost characters? I keep going back to your art about them lately, they seem so fun! ^_^
Oh heck yeah!! Perfect month for it actually lolol
So all of my (current) ghost ocs haunt a manor called the Fultz house. I donr have some of these details super solidifed, but for some reason, anyone who dies on the grounds of the Fultz House ends up stuck there. And over the time of the property changing hands, it finally lands in the hands of a buisness man that wants to captilize on the haunted nature and past of the house. He opens up a haunted tour, where people can come in and look around. The history has been a bit exaggerated and outright untrue to make it more interesting. The ghosts are relatively welcoming to the tourists, but won't hesitate to mess with them occasionally. Making things move and float ect. Orrrr...yknow :3c

This is Cassandra Fultz, she was a part of the original family who made the manor. Shes been in the house for....probably a few centuries at this point. Since shes been there so long she has a lot of control of the house. You know the movie monster house? She can basically do that. Morphing the house around and distoring it if she wants. Which majority of the time shes a really sweet lady and super welcoming to vistors. Just behave yourself and mind your manners. Don't give her a reason to get mean and you'll be fine lol
This is Marie, she used to be a maid to one of the past owners. She hasn't...really gotten over the whole being dead thing. She's a very sad lady and keeps to herself for the most part. Except for Cassandra, they're ghost wives and love each other very much ;w; Cassandra helps her a lot through her worse episodes. There are moments where she's more social with the other ghosts and even cracks a smile. She even has a bit of a mischievous side during these times.
Glenn also used to work with another family as a gardner. Hes a bit of a himbo. Hes not very scholarly but he knows practically everything about plants. He has such a big heart and is an absolute softie. He loves helping people and often got roped into other duties around the manor. He was good friends with practically everyone on staff. Even as a ghost he still tends to the garden. It still looks as nice as it did when he was alive. He can also control some of the plants and make them move around. Perfect for spooks and tickles uwu
And lastly my personal fave of the bunch Shade!! They died around the late 1980's - early 1990's. So its a bit of a culture shock between them and all of the other ghosts. They're the most recent spirit in the house since not long after their death, it was sold for the haunted tours. They're definitely the most mischevious of the bunch. They love messing with tourists and paranormal investigators. The personification of >:3c is the best way to describe them lolol

A question (cause I'm rereading "More Than One Kind of Soulmate and I don't think anyone has asked you this yet) - what if Bucky didn't die? Or they got him back, de-brainwashed? Or hell, maybe even some crazy AU where he didn't get and/or resisted the brainwashing.
How would our favorite trio handle that? If you're up for it and feeling indulgent, what about Therese and Carol?

A bother. Heh. Like anything that isn’t whiney anon hate about my taste in pretend people is a bother. Like anyone showing any interest whatsoever in this weird, random thing I’ve poured years of my life into is a bother. Yeah, heh, bother.
To be clear, it’s not a bother.
At the moment, the strongest image in my head is Belivaird showing up to visit in the late ‘60′s or early ‘70′s. Everything seems normal, everyone’s acting normal. Excepting the hippie looking dude with the too-long hair and the unconscionably thick beard. He hangs out around the house in Steve’s clothes. He does not speak. He wears long-sleeves, Steve’s long-sleeves, even though it’s summer. Much like Steve, he does not sweat, even though it’s summer, oh my God that beard, and he has hair longer than any woman Therese has ever seen.
He is a friend. That is all anyone says about it. Otherwise, they go on about their business as normal. He does not speak. He gets plates at meals. He watches a lot of TV. He reads a lot of books.
Belivaird then proceed to spend much of their free time trying to figure out it A, their friends have decided to even things out and get a fourth and B, if so, why they chose a mute, homeless hippie.
Were those spoilers? Maybe. Maybe not. I have a sneaking suspicion that this post will get longer later.

Beth's confession/latest audio made me wonder (both angst and not):
1. Has anyone ever stopped being Mates? Like, bonded together, then one or both parties decided to separate? Or is this something that Shifters are fairly instinctual/otherwise connected with that it would never happen? (Even very rarely)
(To clarify: I do not mean if one member dies, obviously that happens and it's very sad)
2. If they do - what happens then? I'd imagine that fucks with the Pack quite a bit.
3. Has anyone ever had multiple Mates? Poly or otherwise (like a Widow/Widower finding a new Mate later in life)?
4. We gotta hear about how it went with Beth telling everyone about her and Seer lol Please indulge
5. Can you tell us more about Simon, Ro, and Claire "taking Seer aside" to let them know they're family? Or is there a possibility of this being an audio in the future? It's just really sweet and I'd love to hear more <3

Yes, sometimes mates will separate if things come to that. They are allowed to separate, there's no law or social expectation preventing them, but it is still a very rare case all the same.
If and when that happens, it does disrupt the pack quite a bit, and often one of the pair will leave the pack entirely. Things do settle after a bit, but not without some ripple effects within the pack.
Yep! Poly couples do exist within mate structures. And people can take a new mate if their previous one passed away, though it's more common for people to stay mateless, usually.
The pack was ecstatic! Though many already figured those two had chosen each other as mates, they just hadn't gone public with it. Simon was so proud!
After dinner one night at Simon's place, he pulled them off to the side while Beth was setting the table. He sat them on the sofa and gave them a proper welcome into the family. All fatherly pats on the back and a soft "Welcome home, kiddo" for good measure. Ro caught Seer after they came to a pack meeting and tried roping them into a scheme with Tristan so that was all the welcome the needed. And Claire was the last to do it. One night she and Seer were waiting at the Den while Beth was running late from work. The two sat together on the couch and Claire welcomed them as an honorary pack member.
Seer definitely called her out on working too hard after they caught Claire pulling an all-nighter. Plus a little guilt tripping goes a long way in the "Ya know, I feel like I'd be a real member of the pack if I got to spend time with my pack's Alpha, plus I don't feel like I'd be. good mate if I didn't get to know my mate's best friend." type way. It worked exceptionally well
