This is my first official comic costume and I pulled it together for the Coheed Cruise in 2020... where my then boyfriend proposed to me! I still haven't taken any fancy photos of her, but I genuinely had such a great time running around as her.

I based her design off her action figure. Bought the shirt, leggings, boots and wig; trimmed the wig. Made the belts and pouches out of pleather. Would like to upgrade them one day to something more complicated and even closer in accuracy to the figure. They are held in place by safety pins on the underside of the clothes.

I'm really uncomfortable in contacts, especially ones that make me blinder, so I decided to use makeup to achieve a blind-eye look. For the hand blasts, I wanted to mold the cellophane to my hands and layer them, but couldn't get a heat gun in time. Instead, they're attached via tape to my ILY fingers.

I would like to update the hand blasts and belts, and perhaps play with the cellophane to see if it would work for my face as well, just to be uniformed. We shall see.

He for SURE listens to the Deftones. Deftones were made for the horny bitches, and he's one of them.

He'll rub himself in front of the mirror with the Deftones playing in the background. We've all been there, I don't blame him.

Satan

He seems like a Limp Bizkit kind of man to me. He's so angry all the time, and once he heard you play Limp Bizkit near him, he wrote the band's name down on his bookmark for later.

When he's in a fit of rage he'll play a Bizkit song to help him let go of his anger. What can he say, it's just one of those days.

Mammon

He's a fan of Rage Against the Machine. He's the definition of " fuck you, I won't do what ya tell me."

He heard you play "Bulls on Parade" and that was it. If Lucifer tells him not to do something, he'll listen to Rage Against the Machine to pump himself up and do it anyway. No wonder he's always in trouble.

Beel

He is a man of good taste in food AND music. He likes Primus.

He thought they sounded kind of weird at first, but he then realized some of their songs are REALLY good to work out to. His favorite album is "Pork Soda", that's self-explanatory.

Belphie

Belphie is a Korn lover.

Belphie is a bratty one, and brats love Korn (as do I)

He heard you play " A.D.I.D.A.S" and the shit eating smirk this man had on his face makes your eyes roll just thinking about it. He'll tease you for listening to it, but for sure will jam out to it later in the attic.

Levi

He likes Coheed and Cambria due to the "viking battle" sounding music. (Best way I can describe it, but you know what I'm saying)

When he's in cosplay where swords are involved, he'll blast Coheed and pretend he's fighting a real-life boss battle in his room.

Not really. Just my cosplay name, Rinzler. Which was taken from Tron. Because that movie means a lot to my dad and I.

A lot of songs, really. With music, I learn lyrics quick and memorize them, at least when in English or Korean because I know those most comfortably.

But I can sing A Favor House Atlantic by Coheed and Cambria word for word and pitch for pitch with my eyes closed.

That's my comfort song.

43) Favorite Song Uhh...you have no idea how hard this is. I don't even have a solidly favorite band. But for now, let's go with "Subdivisions" by Rush for a lyric song, and "Midnight Bells" as arranged by Kriesler. "Subdivisions" is my most-played song on Spotify after you get past all my dance music, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. But some other good ones are any of the greatest hits of Queen, "Ninelie" by Aimer (I've been listening to a lot of Aimer lately), "Blind and Frozen" by Beast in Black, the entire "Unheavenly Creatures" album by Coheed and Cambria, "Rhiannon" by Fleetwood Mac (one of my all time favorite bands).

This weekend is going to be the death of me. The Entertainment Expo is on Saturday and Sunday then I am going to see Coheed and Cambria on Sunday night.

Status Quo Sunday Has A Full Dance Card

ANIME FESTIVAL ORLANDO! Was fun! The AFO Rumble went well, I got to cosplay, and I got to see Roborob again! There will be a cosplay video, since I got a lot of good stuff out of that. New discovery I made? I think Team Skull grunts might be my favorite "overdone" cosplay. There's a lot at every con I see, but I don't have that same knee jerk reaction as I do with other common ones. I think it's because 1. Skull Grunts are goofy, but quite the center of attention like Deadpool or something. 2. They're meant to go together with other grunts. If you want to see something of beauty, watch two separate groups of grunts lock eyes, then break out into a "TEAM SKULL!" and dance. JAM OF THE WEEK: "Welcome Home" by Coheed And Cambria I'm linking a lyric video because the music video for this is boring and 2004-era metal band as shit. Also it cuts the song by 2 minutes. Rock Band 1 was the first I ever heard anything from Coheed, they were that long prog song that sounded nothing like Rush, and more like Led Zepplin. However, what I didn't expect was the lyrics to... enchant me the way they did. Again, I went in to "Welcome Home" cold the first time I heard it, and knew nothing about the band and the greater mythos. But there'd be a line that would catch my attention and make me wonder if it's more than just a regular "Well, then fuck you too" song. Plus, the song is an epic journey undertaken by a sad, desperate man looking to make it out of the storm, but a- You know what, I should just stop here. UPCOMING SHOWS! #MtGZzz While all the big Magic stuff is going down in GP Vegas, some of the community members are doing a thing called MtGZZZ, which is basically a bunch of us saying "Hey, we're not at GP Vegas, let's do a bunch of Magic The Gathering stuff anyway."
