kiiiinda wanting to bring back age-specific agouti overlays for the cat skins. I know it makes them a bit lower quality and causes some artifacts but at the distance you generally see sims in game it's probably not even noticeable outside of CAS and I miss being able to give the kittens faint fuzzy markings that come in as they age. especially now that we have infants
#also it would be great for colorpoints#would probably actually go to the trouble of doing the torties too this time#I'm also trying to figure out how to do ears for infants while cmar is out of commission#I'm thinking just a full kitten fluff hairstyle that includes them#and covers the human ears#like I'm gonna be making a new version of the skins anyway to fit the body parts I'm making (dw I'm not taking down the current ones)#might as well take the opportunity to do a slight refresh

#ts3#mspoodle plays praaven#medieval simblr#isn't there a hidden tomb in this world#or did I just make that up#does the world have a back story or lore#need to go find potato's original post#that's it for today#I spent more time than I needed trying to figure out Cmar's Sim Outfitter utility#I remember trying this back in the day and could never get it to work#fast forward a decade and I still don't understand the instructions#lol#I feel like part of it's missing or part of the detail of the original SIMO file and what you do with it doesn't make sense#because anything I import into ctu is going to change the id's#but you aren't supposed to change anything from the .outfit file but it's supposed to match the original#idk it just doesn't make sense compared to one file that was share 10 years ago as an example#ok brain is tired#going for a nap now

RIP, CmarNYC
I’m very sad to report that Sims 3 and 4 creator CmarNYC passed away in October 2023. For 15 years, Simmers benefited from Cmar’s long-honed computing skills as she created much-loved modders’ and players’ tools, including the Sims 3 and 4 MorphMakers and Skininators, the TS4 SimRipper, the Sims 3 XCAS core mod, and many CAS sliders. She was also a contributor to S4PE, which likely was used by creators you rely on. Without Cmar’s work, the Sims franchise would have had a much less rich array of mods and custom content. She will be greatly missed.
As well as Sims, Cmar loved cats, and donations are suggested to the ASPCA, the TinyKittens Society, or an animal-related charity near you.

I have crawled out of my cave to come tell you about another juicy CMAR dream I had.
Picture this: It’s the next revenge plot, MC and the reapers plus the Bangtan boys are in the enemies bar. All the guests have been scared off and MC is calmly walking around the room dumping $1000+ bottles of alcohol onto the floor while she taunts the POS the whole time for fun while the boys are sitting there like 😬. When the last bottle is done, she drops it and let’s it shatter and then all the lights go out, everyone is like 👀👀👀, and then a match strikes, illuminating her face and her chaotic unhinged smirk to the boys.
“I’ve always liked to play with fire.”
She let’s it drop as she turns around to slice at the closest gangster with her katana, the room is going up in flames and it’s hard to see anything. Suddenly an enemy is in Joons face and before he has the chance to react, he’s flinching back as blood drenches his face, MC slicing the guys throat from behind, that unhinged look still there.
“Come now Kim, you should know better than to drop your guard like that.”
Okay, I’m done. Going back into my cave now 💜🫡
lmao i remember the times when i used to have these good dreams as well. now i just get boring dreams that means nothing and just lives to torment my life because they're just of me living my everyday life and nothing exciting, hence i forget most of them.
i need a good dream again bruh.
buut i did have one the other day about this guy who was apparently my boyfriend and it felt so real that i woke up feeling so lonely because i knew he wasn't real 🫠
