For this Rosé, the juice fermented for 20 days in stainless steel. The wine then aged in stainless steel for 3 months until bottling, unfined and lightly filtered.

According to New Zealand’s centuries-old Maori culture, it is believed that humans owe everything to nature. Tangotango, named after a celestial being of Maori myth, is a Clean-Crafted™ wine that embodies our commitment to living simply, to honoring the land, and to making wine as naturally as possible.

About the Wine: New Zealand is famous for its uniquely delicious Sauvignon Blanc, which are notably fresh and exuberant with citrusy and herbaceous notes. The 2019 Tangotango Sauvignon Blanc is no exception. This elegant, aromatic Sauvignon Blanc is bursting with notes of fresh lemon and key lime, balanced by lemongrass and herbs with a stony minerality and a rounded, well-textured frame. Pairs well with seafood and soft cheeses.

About the Region: While Marlborough may be the most well-known region in New Zealand for Sauvignon Blanc, this wine hails from Hawke’s Bay—located on the North Island, about 300miles northeast of Marlborough—and we think that makes it pretty special. The region is a hidden gem of New Zealand winemaking, notable for its soil and weather diversity, which lead to elevated, distinctive wines that are rounder and smoother in texture, while maintaining those delicious citrus and herbal notes for which the varietal is known.

With the exception of my last two Scout & Cellar’s clean-crafted wine posts, it has been five years since my last blog on here. So what has happened since? Here are some of the highlights for each year:

2015 - got married in Malibu and honeymooned in Maui

2016 - worked Sundance Film Festival and pulled off a Las Vegas weekend that included two bachelorette parties as well as a birthday

2017 - traveled Europe specifically Amsterdam, Brugge and Paris

2018 - visited Chicago and concert out at Paula Abdul, Christina Aguilera, Neyo as well as Tim McGraw and Faith Hill

2019 - checked out wine festival in Younteville near Napa and renovated our condo after purchasing it

2020 - met mom side of the family in Vietnam and then the world changed with the passing of Kobe Bryant, COVID-19 pandemic as well as election year

So here I am, five years later at the age of 40 staying positive and making the most of what is left of 2020 as I reflected a lot on self care during the last three quarters of quarantine. I have spent more time with my family because this coronavirus is a constant reminder that life is short. I created “me” time each day of the week to workout as well as do my morning and evening skincare routines. I am learning to be more creative by taking a deeper dive into social media to help with my independent wine consultant business. Lastly, pivoting I M EVENTZ to be more about influential ideaz, marketing momentz but still doing eventz!
