I've never got why some Doctor Who fans hate on Clara for her character flaws, even though Doctor Who fans by definition like The Doctor, who has literally all the same character flaws as Clara only way moreso.

I know a lot of people talk about how the Twelfth Doctor and Clara bring out the worst in each other, which is true, but I also think it's important that they also brought out the best in each other. Twelve is usually a much kinder, better person in series 9 than in series 8 and that's largely due to Clara's influence. Meanwhile Twelve causes Clara to become more like The Doctor, which is a bad thing in some ways, but in some ways it's also a good thing because The Doctor is in many ways pretty awesome. They pushed each other to extremes, good and bad.
