I can understand that romance may not be the core of a show but I think that this wierd aversion people have to romance in TV may be blinding to them to some pretty obvious displays of romantic coding in the show’s script and visual language

#also to not be vague its sydcarmy im talking about sydcarmy from the bear #why would they have sydney taking issue with claire specifically if they didnt want us to think there wasn’t something of the love triangle #nature going on #why would there be that entire scene under the table in ep 9 if there wasnt supposed to be any spark between them #if you dont like them romantically #i think thats def fair #but what is with this adament disdain of romance in tv and the idea that prestige television cant have romance #i worry that no matter how well the show pulls it off people will hate it anyways #robin rambles #tv posting
