being an active trans ally is like the single hottest thing a cis person can do im sry i know the bar is on the floor but i swear to god when a cis person goes out of their way to support and defend trans people i want to rip my clothes off. More cis people should go out of their way to support and defend trans people in fact

Swerving every time a blog mentions transandrophobia not because I have an opinion but because my life's work as a transmasc is not even about men. It's convincing cis women that true femininity requires atrophied breasts, violin hips, and PCOS chin wispies

I didn’t know him super well but in high school I had a strong rapport with this trans guy on the basis of, like, our shared experiences holding onto masculinity in a world that can be hostile to that? which isn’t to say that we were the same by any means but there was definitely some sense of camaraderie between us. we didn’t talk personally often but we always greeted each other very warmly.
when prom season came around I mentioned how it’s hard finding a tuxedo that both fits someone with my build and isn’t some rich-man-at-the-met-gala bland nonsense, and he completely knew what I was talking about and we exchanged ideas for a while. we ended up wearing tuxes with a similar victorian ruffle-sleeves-and-cravat design by coincidence---it was just the sort of thing we both individually found appealing, which is funny. I wished him and his boyfriend well on our graduation night and he’s one of two people from high school I follow on facebook now. it’s nice
