There is no possible reality where this is in any way capable of being passed off as self-defense. It was never self-defense. It is, and always has been, a genocide.
Crying babies. Crying babies. This is, beyond a shadow of a doubt, meant to draw out and kill civilians while also making it far more difficult to locate and aid children who are trapped or alone.

A father's appeal for his children's peace
Imagine a world where instead of raindrops falling from the sky, bombs rain down, and instead of soothing lullabies, the sound of warplanes fills the air. This is the harsh reality for my children, Lama (8) and Hussam (5), and their soon-to-be-born sister. We live in Gaza, a place where hope seems to fade away.
I'm Hamdi, their father, and I feel the heavy burden of ensuring a better future for them.
War has taken away my job, our home, and the very essence of our existence. We now live in makeshift tents, sharing what little we have in this besieged land. Yet, amidst all the destruction, my wife's pregnancy brings a glimmer of hope.
Her growing belly symbolizes hope in this bleak environment, but I can't help but worry about the world we're bringing our child into.
Friends in Egypt have offered us a chance to escape this nightmare, but the path to safety is blocked by a daunting barrier: the border crossing demands $5,000 for each life to pass through.
I plead with you, don't let my children become victims of war.

I have found an incredibly niche genre of elder scrolls YouTube videos where people badly roleplay as Dagoth Ur with AI or digitally altered voices and not for like a one off video there’s at least two channels and possibly more roleplaying as Dagoth Ur doing tier lists and lore videos and giving opinions as Dagoth Ur and because he’s a character that’s onscreen for maybe two or three minutes at the end of the main quest all they have to go off of is his villain monologue so they basically only have two ways to insult things and it’s weirdly mesmerizing to watch

i am so sorry to ask for help once again, but i am extremely desperate and strapped for cash
my older sister (who i live with) did not pay our electric bill this month, and i, who is on a much lower wage than she is, had to pay for it all and therefore have no more money for rides. she has also decided to leave town for the weekend, leaving her violent dog that has bitten me multiple times and her two sons at home and for me to take care of which means they’re going to eat my groceries which i have bought just for me and bought on food stamps, and on top of that i need money to even get to my job and i’m working through commissions at the same time as well
i’m so sorry to ask, but i am extremely desperate and trying my best to stay in the house my dad left to me when he passed

Mahmoud Abu Salama is doing an amazing thing in North Gaza! He is starting a project to help Deaf Palestinian women use their pastry making skills while also distributing food to families in need. This is helping both the women make a bit of a living and feed the hungry in the North.

in case you have not heard, student activists at columbia and barnard have made a liberated zone in solidarity with those facing genocide in gaza on their university's main lawn with the goal of finally getting columbia university to divest from israel and its genocide against the palestinian people. there have been many arrests and a lot of police surveillance and brutality. more information on this can be found here:
