If it wasn't obvious already, I'm a huge fan of Jayne Mansfield, but having only seen "And God Created Woman" I'd argue Brigitte Bardot also perfectly encapsulate the bimbo archetype.
It's hard, nearly impossible really, to separate the idea of "bimbo" from film and screen history. The archetype would've existed without movies and sex symbols, surely, (Rosalie Duthé can attest to that) but a lot of what informs our modern conceptualization of what a bimbo looks like, how a bimbo acts, and what a bimbo is comes from decades and decades of screen sirens and sitcom stars. We wouldn't have 80s Melanie Griffith if it weren't for 30s Jean Harlow. And on a related note we probably wouldn't have Adriana La Cerva if it weren't for Mae Clark taking a grapefruit to the face in Public Enemy (1931, also starring Harlow).
And of course where would we be without Christmas Snow (Three's Company) and CJ Parker (Baywatch)? Not exactly or entirely bimbos depending on your definition but if there's anything I've learned in my research it's that there's not really a wrong way to have this fetish. All bimbos are valid but all bimbos... aren't for me. I'd actually given up on trying to find a "one size fits all" definition of bimbo but thanks to my breakthrough (and assistance from @/severedsheriff) I finally realized there is one common denominator: a lack of respect, any way you slice it, a bimbo does not belong in polite society. She sticks out like a sore thumb! And that even applies to "classy" bimbos, as oxymoronic as that may sound. If you've seen them you know what I mean, the sort-of trophy wife types who attempt to appear high class and elegant despite their obvious breast implants and lip filler that stand out and make any outfit appear seductive, tasteless, or too appealing. It's kind of like the contradiction of desperately wanting to be the sexualized ideal but also better than everybody. Elitism with a BBL and botox. Could also be considered the "Instagram influencer" type, I think they're great.
