ENGLISH TRANSLATION
Thursday 20 October, 15:10
JONAS and ISAK walk out of the school yard after the last class of the day. Around the corner is a bunch of people dressed in neon clothes, yelling about tickets for a revue party. IMPRO they’re loud.
JONAS: That revue thing, man, it reminds me of a sect, I’m getting, like, weird Christian vibes, it’s not right, man
ISAK tries to laugh: Agree
ISAK’s phone beeps, he takes it out, it’s a text from Vilde: Hey, how many people can you host at your place? Here’s a preliminary list of those who said they’ll attend the revue party tomorrow: Chris, Eva, Sana, Julian 1STB, Marianne 2STC, Emma 1STB, Silje 1STA, Eline 1STA, Sara 1STA and Even 3STB. Is it ok if I try to push for 5-6 more? It’ll be cooler if we’re more people.
ISAK’S heart skips a beat when he reads EVEN’S name.
JONAS (off): Should we try setting up a pre-game with Emma and her friends tomorrow or?
ISAK looks up: Yes! Or, tomorrow?
JONAS: Do you have plans?
ISAK stressed: No, or like I don’t know, maybe
JONAS: What are you doing then?
ISAK feels pressured: Just Eskild’s organizing some dinner thing in Kollektivet, like it’s tradition or whatever, I kinda said I’d be there
JONAS: The whole night?
ISAK: Uh yeah, or, I don’t know how long it takes
ISAK and JONAS cross the street and walk towards the tram stop. At that moment ISAK discovers EVEN, who’s already there waiting for the tram. ISAK panics, he can’t deal with EVEN potentially talking to him right in front of JONAS, he can’t mix those two worlds, what if EVEN starts talking about the revue party.
ISAK slows his steps.
ISAK: Let’s just chill here.
JONAS looks over at ISAK with confusion, ISAK looks down at the ground. JONAS sends ISAK an inquisitive glance.
JONAS: What’s the deal with you and that dude?
ISAK stressed: What are you talking about, there’s no deal
JONAS: It’s like you hate him or something
ISAK: Oh okay, no I don’t hate him, he’s just like really annoying
JONAS: How so?
ISAK: How?
JONAS: Yeah?
ISAK: Like, he’s just like… ISAK can’t think of a single thing about EVEN that’s annoying… I don’t know, he’s just annoying.
JONAS: Ok
ISAK goes for convincing: You know, like, some people are just annoying

Unfilmed scene from the SKAM Season 3 raw script. English translation below.
THURSDAY 17 November 01:55 am
ISAK is lying in bed. It’s completely quiet, but he still can’t sleep. He turns over on his side.
—JUMP
He turns to the other side.
— JUMP
He kicks off the duvet
— JUMP
He sits up
—
He opens the door to his room. NOORA is right outside sleeping on a mattress on the floor. He tiptoes past her.
—
ISAK enters the kitchen. He opens the fridge and vacantly stares inside. He’s forgotten what he was doing. He spots a litago (chocolate milk) with ISAK on it and checks the date. It expired two days ago (DATE). ISAK smells it, it smells fine. He takes a gulp, it tastes fine. He brings the litago with him and takes a seat by the kitchen table, but he doesn’t drink it, he just sits there, staring at nothing. He hears a sound and looks up. He jumps. ESKILD is at the door with a face mask and a towel wrapped around his head.
ISAK: Jeezes!
ESKILD: What are you doing up?
ISAK: You scared me
ESKILD studies ISAK for a moment and sees that he’s tired. He walks over to the kitchen counter and turns on the kettle. There’s an elephant in the room, they haven’t really talked since ESKILD explained Pride to ISAK.
ESKILD: I’ve got this Yogi tea that makes you tired, do you want some?
ISAK: Sure, thanks.
Silence falls again. ISAK takes a gulp of the litago. Perhaps it’s gone bad after all, he smells it again. ESKILD looks at ISAK.
ESKILD: Are you having problems sleeping?
ISAK lies: Nah… there was just some noise outside the window
ESKILD nods but doesn’t believe him. He takes out two cups from a cabinet and opens a pack of Yogi tea. He puts the teabags in the cups and pours boiling water over. ESKILD hands ISAK a cup and sits down. ESKILD adds two spoonfuls of sugar to his own tea and looks over at ISAK, ISAK shakes his head. It’s quiet again. They both take a sip. Large two shot of them, where they’re sitting at the table (both facing the room, not each other), ESKILD with a face mask and a towel wrapped around his head, ISAK with a tired, withdrawn face. ISAK understands that he’s got to say something. He looks at ESKILD and finds his courage.
ISAK: Hey, sorry about what I said.
ESKILD looks at ISAK
ISAK: Dissing gay pride, I didn’t mean it. Seriously.
ESKILD calmly: I know you didn’t mean it.
ISAK looks at ESKILD and nods. It’s quiet between them again. ISAK takes a sip of his tea. ESKILD tries to find an in to what he wants to say.
ESKILD: When I was in 4th grade, Olav from my class said I sounded like a girl.

Excerpt: Eighteen hours from Hetemit IX
La’an’s second entered the security department’s operations room and said, “You wanted to see me?”
“Yes. We’re a go for spotting practice and an overwatch tomorrow on Hetemit IX.” Enterprise’s new chief called up a three-dimensional rendering of the abandoned colony and pointed at a south-westerly location. “I thought here.���
John scrutinized the map. “Yeah, concur. Alright, I’ll get the teams organized.” He claimed a workstation in order to assemble the roster and issue their equipment requisitions.
“Can we …” La’an’s words got stuck. She hesitated. Swallowed. Cleared her throat. Began again. “Can we speak privately?”
“It’s your dime,” he said with a smile while typing.
“Excuse me?”
John was still adjusting to his new boss’ style: literal, succinct, close to the vest. That she held others at arm’s length. He stopped working and gave her his full attention. “Of course. How can I help?”
She glanced around the area then headed for a small conference space. He followed. Once the doors closed, La’an circled the table before claiming a chair at its far end. Her posture was stiff, her shoulders and back in tight alignment.
He leaned against the wall and tucked hands under his arms, crossing them over his chest. This was a casual gesture rather annoyance telegraphed through body language. “Shoot.”
“I have a …” She shifted in her chair. “This is a mistake.”
“Obviously, there’s something important on your mind.” He waited then gently prodded when she didn’t continue, “Go on.”
“It’s … a personal question. Out of bounds.” La’an’s hands rested on the table, her palms flat, her fingers stretched and rigid.
John took a seat. “Let me judge if what you want to know is off limits.”
“Alright. You’ve served on Enterprise for years. Was Commander Isak Bengsston’s second, his natural replacement.” She pierced him with an unblinking stare and bluntly asked, “Why don’t you have my job?”

Спина Шистада коснулась мягкого матраса, он развёл ногами колени нависающего парня, чтобы было удобнее лежать. Вальтерсен облепил Криса, как осьминог, и парни провалялись так какое-то время. В конечном счёте Шистад, кажется, уснул. Тихое дыхание Вальтерсена щекотало ухо и местечко у шеи.
Исак засопел и обмяк, поглаживая пальцами хрящик Шистада.
— Я должен сказать… — проснувшегося Криса подвёл голос, он откашлялся. Спортсмен заговорил собранно. — С Хлоей больше не будет проблем. Она хорошо отыграла роль жертвы, но никто не купился.
Вальтерсен привстал на локтях, лицо посветлело.
— Правда? — с надеждой спросил он. — А отец?

68. ”This isn’t what it looks like!”
He didn’t mean for this to happen again. He really didn’t.
It had only been a temporary lapse that first time, anyway. Like it had been the second, and the third.
And it’s not that he’s been thinking about this. Or planned for it.
Okay, the thought might have crossed his mind as he’d gotten himself ready for the party. As he dragged his fingers through his curls in front of the bathroom mirror.
It might have flashed by for just a moment as he’d downed his third beer in Magnus’ living room.
As he’d entered the party, though, he’d definitely pushed any illusions out of his mind by the second.
The first thing he’d spotted had indeed been Chris, lounging against the far wall with his face a mere inch from that blonde third-year girl’s, a flirty grin on his lips.
Hurrying to the kitchen to focus on the drinking game there instead had only been pure self-preservation.
Yet, here he is, barely half an hour later, back pressed against the wall of an upstairs bedroom, Chris’s thigh between his, his lips hot and wet on Isak’s neck.
“I thought you weren’t coming tonight,” Chris breathes against his ear.
Head spinning with lust, he can barely form the question if that is why he seemed so friendly with that third-year girl just a moment ago.
It’s all wiped out of his brain, however, when Chris presses even closer, letting him grind against his hip.
Eyes falling shut, he leans his head back against the wall, exposing his neck even further, as Chris’s fingers creep in under his shirt and stroke along the waist of his jeans.
He’d never guessed, a couple of months ago, that setting up that fight together would lead to this.
That all the indecent thoughts he’d had about Chris ever since he gave him a ride in his car for the first time have come true. Everything he’d imagined as he saw his hand close around the gear stick, what it could do to him –
And now, that very same hand is at the front of his pants, opening the button, pulling at his fly.
The moan that escapes him as Chris puts his hand down his boxers and around his dick comes from somewhere deep inside him, raw and unexpected, his drunken brain unable to anything to stop it.
He really shouldn’t fall for this again, he should know better, he shouldn’t –
But he doesn’t have in him to resist. Heat searing through his crotch as Chris starts moving his hand down, and up, and down.
Until the door suddenly opens, two first-year girls stopping dead in their tracks as they spot them. Frozen, open-mouthed, they stand staring in the doorway – and he blurts out the only thing that comes to mind.
“This isn’t what it looks like!”
He wants to hit himself over the head right away – how could this look like anything else than what it actually is – when Chris straightens up.
His hand is still wrapped around Isak’s dick as he fastens his gaze on the first-years and says, coolly: “I was just helping Isak here out with a… problem. You didn’t see a thing.”
When neither of them says anything, Chris juts out his chin, raises his eyebrows, and says: ”Right?”
The girls look at each other with big eyes, then back at Chris, and nod, before they retreat out the door in silence.
Chris’s hand is still down Isak’s boxers as he leans to the side, and locks the door.
Then, he moves closer again, his other hand firm around Isak’s shoulder as he mouths at his jaw. “Don’t worry. They won’t tell.”
“How – how do you know?”
Chris’s breath is hot against his earlobe as he says in a low voice: ”I just know.”
”I hope you’re not wrong,” is all Isak manages to pant out before Chris’ thumb strokes over the head of his dick and punches the breath out of him.
It has never felt like this before, not on his own, not with Sara, not even that first time with Chris in the car, never –
Vision blurring at the edges, he vaguely registers the rasp of stubble against his cheek, before Chris presses even closer and whispers in his ear.
”You were wrong about one thing, though.”
He can barely stand up anymore, let alone form a full sentence, only pant out a breathy ”What?”
”This.” Chris licks along his neck, sending shivers down his spine, before he starts moving his hand faster and nips at his earlobe with sharp teeth. ”This is exactly what it looks like.”
