Hello tumblr

I Infodumped about my D&D HMS/CCCC au, Also known as Dungeons and Darrells, in the CJFS so I might as well post it here too :]

The tag is #dungeons & darrells au

Anyways starting off with classes/races,

Heart is a Fallen Aasimar who's multiclassing as a Lunar Sorcerer and Oath of Vengeance Paladin.

Mind is an Envoy Warforged who's multiclassing as a Storm Sorcerer and Undying Light Warlock.

Soul is a Scourge Aasimar w/ warforged parts who's multiclassing as an Aberrant Mind Sorcerer and a Glamour bard

Whole is/was a Half-elf Valor Bard

LORE SUMMARY

Their memories seem rather blurry starting out. (Modify Memory my love…]

The trio knows they were once part of the same Whole. They also remember the fighting between Heart and Mind, and those tensions certainly haven’t been forgotten.

Soul tells the others he knows where Whole is, and they set off to find him, with already very obvious tensions and infighting developing.

…Is Whole a physical being that actually exists, or is this just a common goal Soul made up to stop- or at least detour- the other two from killing each other?

...Well anyways, they set off on their adventure.

Tensions are immediately high. Heart and Mind bicker constantly, and it doesn’t take long for the insults to get more and more personal as the rift in their core beliefs grows.

Soul is able to stop them by reminding them of their goal of finding Whole, and he continues to focus on trying to force them to understand eachother.

Weeks, and months pass and their fights continuously become more physical, which leads to Soul having to “mediate” through threats.

Heart and Mind both begin to believe Whole will be better off without the burden of the other, but while Mind tries to turn him complacent through insulting and berating him words, Heart wants to try a more physical, and permanent solution.

Heart prepares his bow, and leads Mind out away from Soul one night.

Juno was mad, he knew he’d been had, so he shot at Apollo with a bow… But listen to this-

There’s not much you can do when you roll a Nat 1.

Juno misses, horribly.

While passing through a town the trio had stolen a potion that allows the user to teleport, but the location and range they end up is randomized. Mind, in a mix of panic and rage, uses the potion on Heart by... literally just throwing it at him, and, oh- Funny how devastating it can be to roll a Nat 20.

(Eye injury)

The glass shatters over Heart's face, and quite unfortunate it now was that he took off his blindfold to try and help his aim. Sure, the thin cloth wouldn't have done all that much, but anything would be better than directly getting broken glass in your eyes.

The effects of the potion take place and Heart is teleported about a two weeks' journey away, as well.

Soul hears some of the commotion and witnesses Heart disappear, and is, obviously, very angry and concerned. Mind and Soul argue for a bit, before Mind is able to calm him down and explain what Heart tried to do.

Soul insists that they find Heart again. They find a higher level spellcaster to cast Scrying for them, and figure out where he is.

Failing so pathetically already would've made Heart feel powerless enough, but that immediately followed by isolation effects them even worse.

(Did you know that you actually only need to show consistent symptoms for two weeks before you can be diagnosed with depression?)

During those two weeks Mind is very confident and proud of itself for "Bringing justice to Heart."

{It takes everything in Soul not to rip out whatever mechanical bits let him speak}

Then they reunite with Heart, and Mind sees how truly devastating this isolation has been on him.

He feels- No, there's no reason he should be feeling guilty for them. Heart tried to kill him, and he got his karma for it... right?

Things between Heart and Mind are incredibly quiet for the next while.

They eventually start to talk more, but it usually leads to arguing or awkward tension. At least that means they're more comfortable with each other again, as Soul tries to convince himself.

Soul stays very protective over them both after All That, and is terrified to leave them alone together, which prevents them from truly getting the chance to try and fully talk anything out.

As they continue with their travels Heart and Mind continue to be forced to work together, and they start to bond. At some point they get temporarily separated from Soul and have a heart-to-uh, mind.

Things are fairly uneventful bonding/communication-wise, and there aren't many other huge events for some time, but the three of them continue to slowly build up their friendship, and put in the effort to understand one another.

Eventually they get to a point where they're all actually super close! Heart and Mind still bicker at times, but they're able to work it out, and it never gets too intense. If anything, the two of them are closer with eachother than with Soul, for once.

For once they're happy, they're getting along, and they're excited to finally meet and reform as Whole.

Until

...They finally stop arguing and the group splits in two. Heart and Mind stay together, devastated and furious, and Soul goes off on his own.

Soul feels incredibly lost, it knows why the other two are angry at him- they should be, they have every right to. But no matter how much he knows he deserves this, that doesn't stop it from hurting.

So he does the only thing he knows in times like these; they put on a smile and plays his music.

He wanders aimlessly through a couple different towns as he plays. They often find a couple other bards, and they play together. Duets, quartets, small groups... He can never bring himself to play in a trio.

In one of the towns he plays a couple times as usual, but this time one of the members, a chicken aarakocra, starts talking with him outside of the shows.

Despite the cheerful mask Soul tries to put on, the chicken sees right through it, and he eventually drops the act. They start to open up to the other bard, who's name he learns is Darrell, and they're both able to find a lot of comfort in eachother. They get along super well, and become good friends quickly.

Soul still thinks about and feels super guilty over his other two friends, and with the encouragement of Darrell, they build up enough courage to search for them again. It's absolutely terrified of seeing the duo, it's terrified to have to see how he hurt them again, but through all his worries they never consider how, despite their pain, Heart and Mind never wanted to be angry at them.

During all this, Mind and Heart have spent a lot of time discussing their thoughts on Soul after everything. They take the time feel and and accept their anger, and agree to go find it again. They still really care about him, after all.

There's certainly more after this, and more I've left out between all the events mentioned here since I enjoy being cryptic, but for now, enjoy!

I wanna draw HMS getting absolutely hunted down but still don't have spooky trio's designs down so here's a few alternate Minds :D

Spooky trio has their own ver of The Incident!

Mind² gets mauled to death by the creature, Heart². So Soul² resurrects him and rebuilds him from scratch. Part of his being is transferred to Mind² to hold together his consciousness. The result isn't perfect and leaves an entity trying to mimic what it once was and others as it tries to find itself.

It studies its targets in the shadows. It has a great capacity of intelligence but lacks basic understanding of human emotions. Though it can sound emotional in its mimicry, it does not understand its purpose and effects it has on others.

Heart² gets his eyes ripped off by Soul² and evolves to a more feral and dangerous creature

Soil woke up got out of bed. He grabbed his tridnt but then to tears on cheek. “{Heart grr}” He said to himself. Hirt a emotionm transferred to him. He hat it the tear s.

Soul wiped his eyes, a single tear shinin like Mr son. He lockd at teh mirror. Whole was died now, it were just Soil…. Or rather his full name that was Soul Un'wholy Regicide Atlas Jash. The mirrr showed his curl e red hare wif eyes appearing and leavin {That’s how he geted his name. Windows is the soul into the eyes} with purple and blue streaks an dark red tips that reached a little past hiss shoulders and devl horns between the curl and shadow void eyes with white glowing pupil and eyes shaped like semi cicle. I lot of people told him he look like Chonny Jash {OOC!AN: If you do not know who he is, I am so sorry that this is your introduction}

Yeah, he was split form Whole, but he wished he wasn’t cos he was very mentally ill.

He thinked bck to before {AN: the befor reference!?!?! XD} but his thoughts wa blurry. Thr last occurrens that had occured had been... stargazing?

Yse! Yes, that wasi it. Whole was stargazing, Heart Mind and Un'wholy were start gazing. Mnd and Heary!!! Their voices echod through the tally halls, sneaking under his door and into his ears. Thos voices were very very very angry. Sigh.

He tok one last lock at his reflection that was half shadw. His pants was simple enouf besids the many rips just black. His style shown throh his spiky fluffy jackt wif many patches and tears {somtimes rippin et his shirt was teh only car theseus he hade} and many colorful beads on his bracelets that go half up his arms. Tow moar of he braclets were spiked the left one were a different shades of blue and the right was different ourplez and they matched his spikey colour that was black becuas he could never get one in animal jam and it maked him feel powerless and poor. but now he was rich in spirits an accesories that were proved by his super cool red fingerless gloves and tally hall neklass and eerie and other face piercins but he only wore the ering, and everyfin els .

He locked away from the miror and loked at the door and walkd out. soul prayed to the stars in his head, and hopped that watevr excus of a diety wood make this round of cacophony easier

So this one's a lil more of a gruesome analysis so be warning, lots of talks about misuse of medical equipment and executions and the electric chair and death. This is for @starryhologram's SCP AU so know what you're getting yourself into.

I've been looking into the requirements of the electric chair recently as I've been wondering what it takes to kill a man using it, how it would feel if alive, and how would a totally unethical facility such as the SCP foundation use it (plus we're sorting out a headmate's memories surrounding the ordeal). I may be planning on writing something surrounding it for the AU for discord. So here's a little think-piece ramble I have about it.

Normally for an electrical chair-based execution, the prisoner has their legs and head shaved, is prepared with a brine-soaked sponge on the head beneath their small metal cap (which is made to fit the skull), and has electrodes placed on the legs and head, all done to allow electrical flow through the body while preventing major burns or combustion. The prisoner is then strapped to a wooden chair at the wrist, ankles, forearms, chest, and waist to stop the prisoner from involuntarily jumping out their seat when the volts tense their muscles and to generally stop them escaping. By command, an electrical supply of about 1,700 - 2,500 volts are shocked through the body. This is only the first surge and is meant to cause lethal brain damage and cardiac arrest. The second surge is a jolt of about 500 to 1,500 volts of electricity for a longer period of time which is meant to damage the vital organs to ensure death.

In a perfect world, the first surge of electricity would immediately kill the prisoner and have absolutely no pain involved as electricity travels at light speed - a speed too fast for the nervous system to process and then respond with pain before death. The prisoner would go unconscious the second the electricity would be powered on and very very quickly die. The rest of the process is a fail-safe. However, that doesn't always work and can be botched by improper set-up of the electric chair, leading to multiple shocks and a lot of pain for the prisoner.

I'm not gonna argue the ethics of this execution method, however I will be the first to say that a facility such as the SCP foundation in the AU would most definitely intentionally set up an unethical, botched electric chair to keep Simon alive. This is all based on the notion that the SCP foundation haven't got enough evidence yet that Simon is dangerous enough to want to kill, at least as of writing this.

The way I believe the foundation would set up the electrical chair for an experiment would basically go against most laws in the western world for the execution method.

For a start, they prepare Simon in a way that feels purposefully torturous. They drill a metal halo into his head to prevent direct immediate contact to the brain with electricity, prolonging his life. Electrodes are used normally as a precise point at the crown of the head and calves to flow electricity through the entirety of the body. Because of the open-ness the halo and metal cap would produce, it would be frankly impossible to keep a soaked sponge on his head, which will definitely cause burns and has the risk of catching his head on fire. Simon is strapped to a chair like normal, but he isn't blindfolded and isn't given a hood. This is mostly used in executions to ensure other people watching don't have to see facial contortions or a corpse's eyes, however the SCP foundation wants to observe what happens, which I think is one of the most unsettling parts and really shows that they've been through shit like this before many times. I also imagine Simon hasn't been shaved as seen by the fact he isn't bald.

In the electrocution cycle, a deadly 2,000 volts are initiated for ~8 seconds and then a second 1,000 volts are initiated for ~22 seconds. For estimation's sake, I think the SCP foundation would give a dose of under 1,000 volts for less than 20 seconds only in order to keep Simon alive. It would cause damage to his body, which they would likely want to prevent him escaping/using his voice, but wouldn't kill him. Keep in mind however that Simon is often tasered and they give a shock of up to 50,000 volts for less than five seconds to a single area. This probably means Simon's body might have gotten slightly used to the voltage.

Also note that this would only be for the first instance of electric chair usage, if there's more than one, since Simon also survives without an incredible amount of damage. The fact the foundation would use a not-lethal dose of electricity would probably come from the fact they assume Simon is a mostly human man who can't withstand a lot of electrical shocks. Likely as the foundation discovers Simon's ability to withstand electricity more than most humans as it seems, the scientists at the foundation would likely push their luck more and more if they were to keep dragging Simon to the electric chair.

Had this idea for a while now and I finally managed to draw it

A Chonny Jash AU based off Sky cotl! :D

More info on my AU below!

In this AU, Heart, Mind, and Soul are sky kids formed from a single shooting star that broke off into three shards while it was falling down

The AU is just about them traversing each land of sky cotl and slowly becoming from moth to well seasoned players while they try to get through each realm while trying to tolerate each other while until they reach Eden. When they reach Eden, they finally reconcile with each other as they die and turn to stone.

Whole in this AU could be a winglight, an older sky player or them fused after ascension

Similar to the timeloop, in this AU, it’s a constant cycle of the shooting star breaking as it falls down, the Heart, Mind and Soul being formed as sky kids, the trio traverse across the lands of sky as they go through thick and thin with each other, dying in Eden and then ascending, either becoming Whole or meeting Whole before they ascend together into the light.

In some successful loops, they do form together as one Whole sky kid but in most time loops, it’s the trio needing to travel through the realms together.

+ Soul’s trident that they got in the later realms, possibly in the Golden Wasteland. Soul just snapped it off some crystal structures of the red shards cause he thought it was cool and as a weapon to use

HAHAJKJHJ fair

Hoo boy where to start!!!! Basically its a chatroom-style roleplay where alternate-universe versions of Heart, Mind, Soul, and Whole (the characters from the CCCC music album by Chonny Jash) are placed into a chatroom to interact. It’s been going since April and currently there’s about 16 of us roleplaying in it but over 100 characters. Probably 150+ characters, not counting the non-canon free-for-all chat where people put AUs of AUs haha.

I’ve got a hefty amount of characters in there, but not nearly as many as some of my other friends like @disruptivevoib or @agent-8449 (they’re insane /pos)

I think I have…? 12 guys between canon and FFA?

My favorite guy is Static, he’s my Mind from my Trial AU. Originally based off of canon, but has since diverged a LOT due to the nature of the chatroom. He’s actually very sweet? Gained some self-awareness and is actively attempting to better himself and help out Hearts. Most of the chatroom likes him but he does have some enemies. Most important enemy is Tune, who hates him due to trauma he inflicted in the past.

had the idea of designing a buttload of minds a bit ago, then recently this week i decided the same for soul. doodled him at school, then showed him to my friend via whiteboardfox :]. i draw Dyadra semi different now than there, but all his design is the same. rope neck that coils up inside his body when not in use, oversized pointy teeth (went monochromatik style with human teeth originally but nah), frizzly uhkempt hair, and a trident through his head. he’s always bleeding from the roof of his mouth, whether the trident is retracted into his skull or not. i love him so much😭💛. he has a full body and even a cute little gut but that’s kept for later for now. consider this a teaser of my inner workings :monk_devious:

ive been drawing him *SOOo* muchhh aaugha…can’t wait to show you when i can :]. building a batch of art for a tumblr post that i’ll dump later today maybe. get ready for some fun and gore galore~ (its not too gorey, just the trident-through-head-hes-always-choking-on-his-own-blood concept in full force. yummy ideas have to be explored huhu)
