Just ordered @coelary ( https://coelary.com ) from @chirasul and got this excellent hardbound copy, signed along with this gorgeous illustration of Sophodra!!!

Chirasul's post I just reblogged reminded me of when I switched my mattress from a twin to a queen when I first had my college job.
And it was fully because Caitlin and Austin used to come over and we'd pile onto my bed, and I always thought it'd be more fun if we could actually all fit and be comfortable. Hahahaha Same with my TV so I could play games and watch shows with friends instead of crowding around a laptop screen.
I don't need a couch with 4 or 5 spots, but I want a place for people to sit down and gather if they end up over here, or a spot you can sleep if you need to crash.
There's something really sweet about living space quirks made for the warmth of other people. My grandma's leaf table that could sit 8-10 when we're all there, and the coffee machine that only comes out when people are visiting. The extra bedrooms at my mom's place in case my sister and I are ever needing a spot.
A lot of these things just become cozy comforts in your own space. Like obviously my bed, couch, and TV are all used by me when I'm alone in the nest of my apartment now, but I still really love thinking about all those little beginnings.

do you think if the earth was just one continent like Pangaea that it would be like one big country, or a bunch of countries. do you think the economy would be different if it was one big country. i feel like if everyone lived in one big country with all the same rules and economy then maybe clothes would last longer because they wouldnt be made with slave labor like they are now. just something i think about sometimes
