I find it extremely beautiful how Duan Jia Xu starts falling for Sang Zhi after being taken care by her in Hospital after his surgery and in restaurant when she protects him as her impulse takes over and she doesn't take a second to splash the water back on women who splashed him. It's like he suddenly sees she's grown up, she's someone who's is now capable of protecting herself & him. Some one who finally stands up for him, someone who won't see him getting bullied and ask him to tolerate it because that's what he deserves and that he isn't the victim of the accident that happened when he too has suffered loss from that accident. In his whole 25 years life of loneliness finally someone stands up for him and I get why at that moment he falls for her, his gaze shifts from seeing her as a mei mei to a women. His gaze being shifted after the restaurant scene being highlighted both in drama and in book, it's like you can see the transition of how his gaze shifts and he starts to SEE HER, LIKE REALLY SEES HER, like how she has grown into this amazing women.

In book the lines come as :

"Duan Jia Xu’s heart beats so fast. His mood changes. He suddenly raises his head and looks at her "

"Sang Zhi then looks at him

I just finished "Nothing But You" and I feel empty...

I couldn't bring myself to bid farewell to the characters...they felt so close and real that it breaks my heart to not see more of their wholesome lives and interactions 💔

Kudos to all the cast for their incredible acting in bringing life to those characters!. I must say the chemistry between the two leads is just incredible!, and their healthy relationship is goal for real...

I highly admire and look up to the FL's character, it's so rare to find a character like her in current shows. I found her mindset so relatable to mine, and even was enlightened by her way of thinking. Zhou Yu Tong did an incredible job on portraying the character!. She never fails with her natural acting.

And the ML...ugh don't get me started!. The greenest flag I've ever seen in drama land!!. His character is SO SO precious that makes you want to tuck him inside your pockets and keep him safe!. My first time watching a show for Leo Wu, but this character felt like it was made just for him!. He did a great job!!

All the support cast did a fabulous job, which made the whole show an awesome piece of work without a single moment of boredom.

Now am contemplating how I'll move forward from a wholesome masterpiece like this 💔

Angels Fall Sometimes (2024) is a series that was created for those who want to be on the journey of real love. Real love in relationships and friendship.

It is a drama that shows how a kind society gives a big impact into someone’s live. Aside from a sad story, i keep thinking what was actually the writer wants to tell us through Lin Tuo and An Zhique. He was diagnosed with the disease at a young age when his dream just came true when he and An Zhique were in the middle phase of their relationship, and when everything was at its peak.

In the blink of an eye, they need to adjust their life for Lin Tuo.

Through the characters in this series, i can see a society can change to a someone needs. We can treat a patient as a normal person/ as a healthy person. We can always adjust our lives to make them feel they are still one of us. We are not different physically and mentally.

A mindset matter.

I was amazed at how Lin Tuo did not give up his life early. To keep working, and doing chores like a healthy guy even after he was diagnosed. How Lin Tuo gives a second chance himself despite knowing he has a limited time. Without a supportive person that helps him in this journey, I can tell he will give up early. His family, his friends, his officemate and his girlfriend.

Everyone’s count. A standing ovation for them.

We can see the journey step by step through 24 episodes— even though we do not know what exactly happens in real life it opens our eyes widely.

An zhique— his girlfriend. If An Zhique is exist in this life, i would like to thank her for her strong will and her firm decision to stay with Lin Tuo until the end. To take care of him while forgetting about her dreams isn’t easy. Lin Tuo is her life after all. A partner who knows us inside out , who will open the umbrella if it’s raining , who will stay with us through thick and thin. She is An Zhique.

When every couple enjoys their dates walking in the city, dancing in the rain, running in the snow, and holding their hands together, they can only watch them quietly. Of course, Lin Tuo is so lucky to have An Zhique in his life.

Now, it is not about how Lin Tuo ends up later. It is how An Zhique, his family, and friends will continue living their lives with the memories they have created together. When looking at the things and walking at the place that reminds them of him.

It is how they continue their living without Lin Tuo. I remember Lin Tuo’s dad's advice. “Everyone's lifespan is finite but our attitude toward life is important”

If you want to bawl your eyes out, Angels Fall Sometimes is for you. On a side note, please prepare a lot of tissue when you watch 11 episodes forward.

the male lead got shot while escaping from the enemy and was sent to medical camp of sorts ,, his bestfriend sit by his side taking care of him while being unconscious the whole time ,, his injury is severe and the doctor said in so many words that his life is in danger ,, then his best friend heard him mattering something mentioning the one who died to save his life but he didn't wake up yet ,, his best friend cried and covered his friend tightly
