B would be absolutely tongue tied at the sight of MC in that kind of outfit. 😳 they wouldn't be able to know what to say, and if it was a party they probably tried to hide from MC, so they wouldn't embarrass themself. 😩 would drink a one drink too many and wouldn't be able to stop thinking about it later.

oskari has known them for a really long time, so if sexy outfit would be normal for them to wear on halloween, he wouldn't be really affected by it, tbh. if it wasn't he would be flustered as hell the whole night, maybe try to awkwardly compliment their outfit of choice and be internally "sjskssjsjsj why did i say that, please kill me". a highly likely scenario is also locking himself in the bathroom to send a voice message to leslie who would tease him relentlessly. 🤭

james would flirt with them, she can be very smooth when she wants to be and would forget her own grumpiness for the night. would also be kind of weirdly jealous if she didn't get MC's full attention and someone else kept stealing it and she would send murderous glances to everyone who bothered their conversations. 😒🔪

juniper would try to act normally around them, but wouldn't be succesful at all, lol. fae wouldn't be nearly as composed as fae usually is. would sneakily steal glances at MC and think about how good they look in the outfit, but wouldn't say anything outright. would instead compliment their hairstyle or makeup, maybe even their shoes. 😭

i know i said in a previous ask that will would be dressed as ghostface, but the chances of them wearing a sexy costume are also highly likely. they would compliment and flirt with the MC openly all night, maybe compared their outfits and which one was sexier, lol. they would be very hot and bothered under their cheery demenior.

aaa sage would just be like, "aren't you cold, MC?? please, take my *extremely extravagant fur* coat. there you go, nice and warm", lol. honestly wouldn't think too much about it, they don't really notice things like that. 😔

oskari: 10/10. oh, how much i miss that boy! he was always so polite and brought me flowers and chocolate every time he visited. 💐🍫 easy on the eyes, too... 👀 why on earth did you lose contact with him?! ugh, you really don't know what's the best for your, honey.

hi! you can flirt with everyone without consequences to a certain point, but eventually you will be forced to choose your love interest. there will be a choice that will lock you into a romance and the flirt options for the other characters will disappear.

certain characters will be upset if you flirt with them several times but choose someone else; oskari for example because of his history with MC, he will feel like they have played with his feelings. some don't care at all like will because they're a bit of a flirt themself and their romance can be strictly casual at first.

SPOILERS BELOW:

angst ratings:

B: 3/10. i would rate it 1 otherwise if there weren't certain people in their life that make them having a romantic relationship difficult (not sunny!).

oskari: solid 8/10, especially on the exes route.

james: hmm, i would say probably 6/10. not really angsty so much as slow burn, but there are moments that justify the rating.

juniper: juniper's route is really tough to rate. 4 or 5? like james', faer route is more of a slow burn but it's less intense, idk.

will: 1/10. there's two routes for them: friends-with-benefits to lovers and good friends to lovers, but they are both very happy routes!

sage: 10/10, baby! it's the monster complex.

a lot of the angst depends also on the ending you will choose, though. 👀

How do the ROs sleep by themselves? What about with a partner?

bunny/bo: they've been so long without a partner that they literally sleep on their back like a starfish taking all the room on the bed. :") sometimes when sunny has nightmares they let her stay with them the rest of the night so their partner definitely has to get used to that. when they sleep with someone they love, they like to link their legs together under the blanket and hold hands but not really cuddling.

oskari: he is extremely frickin tall so he doesn't often even fit on small or medium sized beds, lol. he's used to sleeping with his legs pressed against his chest and his arms curled around his knees. with a partner he likes to be the big spoon and keep his nose pressed against his partner's hair because he's sweet like that. 🙄

james: alone she sleeps on her back and snores lightly. she has a very big bed because her two pitbulls betsy and luka are spoiled and used to sleeping with her on the bed. luka likes sleeping at her feet and betsy has her own pillow next to james'. so that's certainly something that can be a deal breaker for certain type of people, sjsksjs. 😔 if she shares the bed with a lover, she shoos betsy away who settles next to luka at the foot of the bed. james likes to sleep face-to-face with her partner, arms curled around their waist.

juniper: fae sleeps like the dead, fae is a very heavy sleeper who doesn't wake up practically for anything until faer body says that it's time to get up and start the day. 😴 not a huge cuddler, either, but likes to watch faer lover's face with a soft look on faer face until fae falls asleep.

will: insomniac. sleeps only 3 to 4 hours a night or not at all, 5 hours on a good day and that's quite rare. they're surprisingly cheerful during the day despite of that. they sleep better with someone else and love cuddles. 💘 especially likes sleeping on their partner's chest with their leg draped over their middle.

sage: doesn't sleep much either but for different reasons! 👁 rarely uses their bed, but when they do it's with their lover. mostly likes to watch you sleep which can be a little creepy (edward cullen) but they mean no harm. he just loves you so much that's he's 🥰🥰🥰 all the time and likes looking at you.

ohh........

B: a very blushy mess. can't look them in the eye without getting +1000000 psychic damage, tbh. will kiss their cheek but after checking the coast is clear, they go for a cheeky makeout session.

oskari: there's a good chance that everything oskari owns is too big on MC (the man is 201 cm and impressively built), so he will think that the sight is very cute and tease the MC relentlessly about it. if they happen to be even bigger than him, he will just go very quiet and flustered.

james: will thoroughly show her appreciation of the sight of them in the bedroom and will absolutely make them beg for it, but will also act just very moony later. "can't believe my girlfriend/boyfriend/partner is so gorgeous, i'm so fucking lucky to have them".

juniper: when fae first sees them, fae will just go: "interesting choice of attire" because fae likes to think fae is cool & collected even though fae is actually not when it comes to MC. it wouldn't a lot of fae to break down, however, if you get my drift.

will: "omg, you look so adorable!!! 🥰 that fits you so much better than me, do you want it??? please take it so i can look at you in it forever."

sage: depending on the day, they will just stare at MC for a long moment before turning their back to basically blte their first for a moment so he doesn't go too feral. he can also just have a very asexual moment, and think the MC looks very good and beautiful but not go for anything sex related.

Are the ROs interested in marriage and/or kids? Would it be a dealbreaker for them if MC is not interested in either of those/both of those?

bunny/bo: already has a daughter, sunny, and could never commit into a relationship with someone who didn't like sunny or kids in general. they're open to the idea of having more kids and sunny would adore having a sibling(s) but not before a few years of marriage, though. they need you to be fully committed and be certain that you won't leave when shit gets hard so yeah, it could definitely be a deal breaker.

oskari: oh god, he really, really wants to get married some day like he literally already has it planned to every detail. if your farmer used to be in a relationship with him, however, it will take years for him to be comfortable enough to do it. he really thought he and the MC shared something special and he genuinely loved them so the breakup was very hard for him. as for kids, he's open to the idea! not necessarily a deal breaker to not to want these things but your boy has abandoment issues so he needs some sort of commitment from them.

james: would like to eventually get married, but definitely wouldn't be into a big wedding like she would just suggest signing a paper and having a small celebration later, with only important family members and friends attending. as for kids, she's not super into the thought of having them, but it's not a hard no, either. maybe just one! neither of these are a deal breaker if her partner is not into marriage or kids.

juniper: doesn't really want to get married or have kids. relationships aren't a priority for faer in general. would be happy to get married if faer partner wants it and it’s discussed beforehand (aka no surprise proposal), but i don’t see faer ever being interested in raising kids, tbh, so if someone really wants to have a family, juni isn’t the right match for them.

will: marriage? yes. kids? YES. they want all of that domestic shit. they would love a big wedding, fem!will would wear a big ass floofy white princess dress, the most ridiculous thing you’ve ever seen and m!will would probably wear a type of culotte skirt. as for kids, the more the better, lol. at least three, but over four is preferred. someone who is not interested in having a family at all would be deal breaker for will.

sage: hmm. i think they would like that eventually, but they have a lot of baggage themself so their partner would need sort through all that first and that will take a loooong while, lol.

love this ask!! 👻 🧡

B would probably be on edge as well since they're not really into scary stuff, so if MC suddenly without a warning latched onto them, they would probably scream, sjsksj. but they would blush hard thinking about it later and would yell into their pillow for a few minutes at home.

oskari would smile and gather his courage to offer to hold their hand the rest of the way, his grip comforting and warm. also he's huge, so you automatically feel safe with him.

james would smirk at them and tease them like, "you scared, buttercup?" but would sling her arm around MC's shoulder and keep them close the rest of the tour. she wouldn't be able to stop thinking about it for weeks.

juniper would be surprised by it and kind of taken back by the sudden touching, but would try to reassure MC with a few comforting words, "hey, it's alright. i'm here with you, everything's okay."

the possibility of the roles being reversed and will doing this to MC instead is also a highly likely scenario, lol. they would hug them as long as they dared, and then offer to leave the house from one of the emergency exists or suggest racing through the whole house. winner gets a snog! 💋

sage would immediately go to protective mode and would either be like, "where's the danger?? i will fight the danger to keep you safe 🔪" or bridal carry you out of there, lol.

Juniper is always, always, always busy, and today it frustrates you more than usually.

It's been too long since you've spent time alone with faer, and you miss faer so profoundly you can feel the ache all the way in your bones. Juniper would call you dramatic if fae knew your thoughts, but at this point you don't think it's that far from the truth. You're in actual physical pain from longing.

You last saw faer properly a week ago. A week! That's seven whole days without faer comforting and loving presence.

You lie like a starfish on your bed, reluctant to get up to face the morning, when you know Juniper is long gone and currently at the clinic working and making the world a better place. You try not to feel too bitter.

Finally after a few minutes of feeling sorry for yourself, you sit up and glance at your bedside clock that reads 8:45 in the morning. You don't expect to find a small note next to it, and you blink in confusion before you pick it up, rubbing your sleep-fuzzy eyes.

The writing on the note is elegant and clearly in Juniper's cursive. You feel instantly ten times happier after reading it.

i'm always thinking of you, even when we're farther apart. please never forget that. love, juni.

hi!! ♡ i will post invidual introduction posts for each of them in a few days where you will learn more about them. :-) but love languages, let's see...

bunny/bo: definitely physical touch! they're often bad with words and expressing their feelings properly but are a very affectionate person physically, both with lovers and friends.

oskari: words of affirmation. your boy is insecure as hell, he really needs to hear directly from you how you feel about him, how much you mean to him, how much you love him etc!! he is needy.

james: acts of service. actions speak louder than words! words can be untruthful and meaningless and unfortunately she has a history of being gaslighted by those close to her. she likes being spoiled, but you didn't hear that from me. 🤫

juniper: quality time. fae is often very busy with work so fae has less time for faer loved ones than fae would like. fae really appreciates little surprise dates like candle-lit dinners and weekend getaways.

will: physical touch. they're extremely touch-starved like seriously even hugs sometimes overwhelm them because they're so sensitive. :") please give them all the kisses you can!

sage: he loves to give gifts! almost every day you will wake up alone in your bed but always with some sort of gift on his pillow as an apology. often it can be just a pretty smooth stone or a flower that made them think of you, but sometimes also something weird like a vial of cough medicine sjsksjs.

How do the ROs take their coffee/tea? And what is their favourite low-effort meal? uwu

hound. 💖

B prefers tea and takes it with cream and honey! they're the best cook out of all the ROs and cooking is one of their favourite pastimes, so they usually go all out with their meals, but maybe sun-dried tomato pasta with fresh ingredients.

oskari: big coffee drinker and drinks it completely black. low-effort meal would probably be something bought straight from the store like chicken nuggets and fries that you can just stick in the oven.

james doesn't really drink coffee or tea, she's addicted to energy drinks, lol. her go to low-effort meal would be peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

juniper: likes fancy barista coffees and fae has one of those super expensive coffee machines at home. especially enjoys a good & quick espresso in the mornings. fave easy meal would be some type of onion soup.

will: coffee makes them sleepy because of their adhd, but doesn't really like tea, either. goes for juice in the mornings! tortilla pizza would be one of their favourite easy meals.

sage: likes both coffee and tea; coffee with sugar and milk and tea plain. he doesn't really..... eat, though.

hi hi! what are the ros ethnicity? ⭐

hiiii!! ✨ this ask is ancient and got lost in my drafts, i'm so sorry!!

emerald acres isn't based on any country in particular, though it is influenced by my own background as finnish, and there's no canonical location for it because it's purely fictional. the setting of the story is modern, though, and the time period is 2020s.

B is white british with some german roots from their (other) mother's side. they have two moms!

oskari is finnish and white as some of you may have guessed from his name. very much influenced by my own experiences.

james is white french-canadian, born in quebec, so she's also bilingual.

juniper is black and originally from madagascar but faer grandparents are first generation immigrants in the UK so that is where fae has lived faer entire life.

will is jamaican/mexican and a mixed race. their mother is black and father latino.

sage's ethnicity is a little trickier because they're not exactly purely human and have always been there, lurking in the wuthering woods. he is coded han chinese, though.

i'd like to emphasize that i'm white myself and always willing to accept feedback/critisism if anyone has any concerns regarding my portrayal of people of colour. i will have to make a post about skin colours soon so there will be no whitewashing if i'm ever lucky enough to recieve art/edits. 💞

What are the ROs favourite colours, what colour do they actually wear most often AND what colour do you associate with them?

ohhh, this a fun one!!

B's favourite colour is peach and lemon yellow. they wear a lot of neutral colours, but also blue and yellow. i associate them with baby pink and beige because they used be two sims of mine (that i merged into one person) and i always made bunny wear pink clothes. :")

oskari's favourite colour is light green. he wears mostly blue, white and green. i associate him with blue because of his eyes and also because he's finnish like me and our flag is white and blue, lol. 🇫🇮

i think the colour james likes the most is just plain black. she wears mostly black and white. i associate her with green because her truck is dark green and also black, obviously.

juniper's favourite colour is magenta and gold. fae wears a lot of very dark blue and silver. i associate faer with black because of faer hair and also any shade of blue.

will likes every shade of the rainbow, they truly have no preference, all of them look pretty to them, lol! they wear a lot of light green, yellow, pink and white, doesn't really have a cohesive style when it comes to colours. i associate them with red, idk why, they've just always appeared as red in my mind.

sage likes orange and cyan, but they don't wear those colours. like ever. mostly just black, tbh. i associate him with purple despite his name.
