Did you ever find anything about that "1978-1980 cecptt jingle"? It's been bugging me lately and I'm interested in if anything ever came of it or if it even still exists

When I first started "The Great All-American Pizza Search", I assumed that because this person was probably from Detroit, they were just misremembering the "Smile America" jingle from 1982, when more stores would of opened. I thought the GAAPS was solely for the CA area in late 79 - early 80, but as time went on I realized skimming over ads for stores that TGAAPS slogan was used up until late 1980 and was used everywhere.

In the recently discovered storyboards for one of the live action commercials, notice how it says (Location Tag), not Kooser and Blossom Hill. I feel like this commercial was used to advertise more than just the Kooser location in San Jose. It could of even been used in other states. I'll definately touch on that in my next GAAPS post so stay tuned!

Banjo Billy’s Pizza, A Chuck E. Cheese retrofit!

Unfortunately, "Banjo Billy's Pizza" along with the rest of the strip mall that "Banjo Billy's" was in got closed during 1997 after 3 Years of Operation since Banjo Billy's" first opened at a strip mall in Houston, Texas in 1994

Here's The List of CECPTT That were retrofitted as Banjo Billy's -

1. Mr. Munch as Fatz the Bull using Dolli Dimples' mask and hands but her mask and hands were retrofitted as a male bull character

2. Helen Henny as Beach Bird, well, a Male Surfer version of the 1980's Helen Henny

3. Jasper T. Jowls as Banjo Billy, with Jasper's fur pieces and mask recolored orange with black dog ears and is given a "vaudeville" outfit

4. Chuck E. Cheese as Mitzi the Bunny, Chuck E. Cheese as a Female Bunny with his "mouse ears" turned into "bunny ears"!

and 5. Pasqually as Dook the Elephant, with Pasqually's cosmetics retrofitted as a blue elephant complete with a faux elephant trunk that is fuzzy and, well, plush-like!
