The funny thing about Nia Xenoblade is that I’ve heard people describe her English voice as unfitting when compared to her appearance because she sounds older. I don’t think it’s a correct viewpoint, but we’ll call it a valid argument for Xenoblade 2.
When Xenoblade 3 rolls around, Nia’s English voice doesn’t have to change at all because it’s perfectly appropriate for a Welsh catgirl MILF. She sounds like she’s in her late 30s-mid-40s (affectionately), and has a great bod to match!
Although I play with JP voices for better dramatization, I think the diverse accents give the characters a sense of identity.
