DNI IF YOU'RE YOUNGER THAN 18!
Cassie was sitting on her window sill, staring out at the empty street out front of her house. Legs were tucked into her chest as she awaited another long and hopeless night. She didn’t know why she decided to continue to wait here. Maybe it was the pitiful hope that you may come to her after so long of being gone. Or maybe she just wanted to stay up at night and watch the stars like the two of you always did when you were in town. But your visits had become lesser and lesser after the last.
You weren’t home as much as you used to. All Cassie knew was that your job required you to go away sometimes and be away. Of course, Cassie understood it but never knew more than what you drip-fed her. Giving her tiny pieces of info about what you did, which wasn’t enough for her to get the full picture of your lifestyle. What she did know is that you travelled, a lot, you made enough money to keep paying your rent at your apartment whilst you were away, and you could buy her things that doubled anything Nate had ever gotten her. Offering her to stay at your place rent-free and her phone bill. It was a lot for one guy who freshly graduated, but Cassie is just guessing you worked construction.
So, the time she got with you was very little as of late. Leading to her staying up and sitting by her window sill waiting for you to just pop up out of thin air and hold her. And hopefully have you with her in the morning.
The buzzing of her phone drew her attention. Her eyes lazily flowed from the window to her phone. In an instant, her eyes shot wide her hands scrambled at the phone. Knowing your phone number like the back of her hand, she pressed the green button and pressed the device to her ear, lips etched into an excited grin. “Hi, baby.”
“Hey, sweetheart,” you breathed, a smile able to be heard in your voice. Cassie pulled her legs closer to her chest, resetting her chin on her right knee as she stared out the window. She doesn’t know how long it’s been since she’d last heard your voice. But she didn’t realize how nice it was to hear it. “I just wanted to check in. See if you were still awake.”
“I was waiting for you,” Cassie replied. Standing up from the window sill, she moved to the edge of her bed and took a seat. “How’s work been? Everything alright wherever you are?” A deep chuckle filled the other end with a hiss able to be heard a moment later. Cassie’s smile slightly faltered, eyebrows scrunching together as she straightened her posture. “Y/n, are you okay?”
“Y-Yeah, Cass. I’m good,” you reassured with a deep groan. Your eyes flickered down to the bullet wound in your side. Removing your hand, you took a quick look at the 9mm hole and sighed, returning pressure to the wound. Resting your head against the side of the payphone as you let out a low groan. “Am I able to come over? I need help with something.”
“Y/n, are you okay?” Cassie asked, now standing back to her feet she listened to every little noise that came from the other end of the phone. “Do I need to come and get you? I can if you need-”
“Baby.” Your voice wasn’t firm or annoyed, but somewhat admiring and loving. “I’ll be there in 10, ‘kay? Just… Just keep the front door unlocked. Is your sister home?” When she said no, you sighed in relief. “Ok, grab the med kit in your bathroom and have it by your guys’ couch in your room, yeah?”
Cassie couldn’t help but feel even more worried and confused by what you were not telling her. You weren’t telling her something that might explain what was going on. But that was something regular she should’ve gotten used to when it came to you. Everything about you had to be shrouded in some sheet that hid more of yourself from her. Shame or nervousness; she wasn’t too sure.
“Cassie?”
She shook her head from the thoughts, clearing her throat. “Ok, I’ll be waiting.”
“I’ll see you in a bit,” you told her. “I love you.”
She couldn’t reply before you hung up the phone, leaving the phone to be blank as she dropped it on her bed and did what you asked. Running downstairs and unlocking the door before running back upstairs to grab the medical kit and setting it on her couch. Anxiously preparing for whatever shit storm you were planning on bringing to her home.
When you did show up, Cassie finally understood the purpose of the medical kit was for. Finding the grey shirt you wore to be drenched along the side in blood. An almost grey tinge on your face tells her that you must’ve lost too much blood. Once bright and beautiful ebony skin is now stained red and your complexion greying from the bullet still lodged in your side.
Yet, you wore that charming smile of yours. “Hey, baby.”
“Y/n, w-what the fuck happened?” Cassie breathed, hands covering her mouth as you pushed from the door and toward her. She couldn’t decide what needed more attention, you or the fact you were beginning to bleed on her floor.
Instead of providing her with an answer or just giving her something to work with, you grabbed the medical kit and moved to the bathroom. Placing it on the sink and looking in the mirror. After this, you needed to go. You needed to skip town and never look back until things died down. Then again, maybe they never would. And sadly, your heart was already aching from reality beginning to settle in from what had happened.
Things weren’t to have played out the way that they did. A smash and grab- that’s what they had told you. But why the fuck did things always have to go sideways with you? Why did they make you have to pull the trigger?
Looking past yourself and to Cassie who stood in the doorway with a concerned look, you clenched your jaw. “Can you help me with this?” You mused, lowering your gaze. The blonde licked her lips, stepping behind you and carefully shimming the hem of your shirt up. Feeling the engulfing heat of your skin against the back of her hand, the droplets of sweat, and the blood that touched her ivory skin.
After a painful process of getting the shirt over your head and arms out, it left you leaning against the sink. Hands bracing the porcelain as you scanned the wound. “I’m going to need your help with something,” you announced to the girl. “It’s going to suck for me, but it might be worse for you-”
“Why do you have a gun?” The question made you look over your shoulder. Finding your girlfriend transfixed on the pistol resting along the hem of your pants.
You sighed. “Cassie, I really need your help with this-”
“You don’t get to do this!” Cassie exclaimed, silencing you. “You don’t get to show up at my house after no texts or phone calls for days and no explanation as to where you’ve been, alright? And still, even now, you aren’t telling me the truth, Y/n. What the fuck is going on?”
“Help me with this, and then I’ll tell you.” The sharpness in your tone made the girl’s jaw clench. Staring sharp daggers at you, clear frustration found in those beautiful eyes of hers. It was unfair. You understood that, but things weren’t as simple as Cassie would like them to be. They never would and never will.
Creating some sort of pact for now, Cassie grabbed your arm softly and turned you around. Grabbing the medical supplies as you said, “The bullet is still inside. You’ll have to pull it out.”
“Great! I like how you asked the person who has no experience with this type of thing and is your girlfriend! Smartest fucking idea I have ever heard in my entire fucking life-”
“I have nowhere else to go, Cass!” You told her, silencing her tangent. “You’re all I have left and I need you right now. So, if you can’t do this, then fine. But don’t make me feel like shit more than I already do.”
With pursed lips, Cassie kneeled down in front of you and placed her fingers around the wound. There was a faint sting, but nothing too serious. When she gently spread your skin, trying to make more room for the tiny clamps, that made you groan in pain. But she didn’t say anything. Brows scrunched together in concentration as she gently and slowly pushed the clamps inside whilst you rolled your head back, grunting in pain.
She tried to be as quick and as gentle as possible. But as much as you had experienced wounds before, you’d never had to have someone pull a bullet from your body. So, you were grateful that Cassie wasn’t just jamming the clamps into the wound and wringing it around inside of you.
When she found the bullet and pulled it out, you took the liberty to stitch yourself up. Sitting on the toilet and doing so as Cassie cleaned up the floor and her hands. Scrubbing until her skin was red and ready to break. Although she wasn’t saying much, she was freaking the fuck out. She was on edge. She was sick. She couldn’t think straight with all the jumbled and clouding thoughts in her head. Seeing you bleeding, seeing the gun, the bullet, she needed answers or she might just go insane.
“Explain what the fuck is going on, Y/n,” Cassie breathed, turning off the faucet and bracing her hands along the edge. “I feel like I am going crazy over here while you act like this is nothing new.”
It wasn’t.
Ok, getting shot was new, but you injured and laying low wasn’t. “I am involved in some dangerous shit, Cass,” you confessed, driving the sewing needle through your flesh, biting your bottom lip. Cassie looked away, unable to stomach the sight. “I won’t tell you much because I want to protect you, but I’ve been a criminal since before you left me.”
Cassie frowned, looking over at you cutting the thread and beginning to tie a tiny knot. “What the fuck do you mean you’re a criminal?” She laughed. “You’re an on-the-go worker that…” She trailed over her words, unable to find the correct occupation.
But the longer she mulled over her words and placed two and two together, she was slowly realizing that you hadn’t hidden anything from her. The large margins of time you were gone, the excessive amounts of cash, the secrecy, it all just made sense now.
Should she be surprised? Angry? Hurt? It was all too much at once for her fragile mind to handle. Your crimson-stained hand gently touched her naked thigh, pulling her gently towards you. “Cass, return to Earth.” Your words made the blonde swallow the lump in her throat, blinking rapidly and finally meeting your warm gaze. “I never wanted you to find out like this. Everything is so fucked up right now and I know you’re trying to process all of this. By tomorrow you don’t want me in your life anymore, then fine. But I just need a place to stay for the night.”
For the first time tonight, Cassie finally was given vulnerability. A chance to have insight as to what is going on in that beautiful head of yours. Finally able to see and feel something that felt real and genuine. Like, the curtains had finally been pulled back and allowing the sun to shine through the window. It felt nice, refreshing, and emotionally rehabilitating.
Cassie blinked rapidly, leaning down as her hands held your face. Brushing her thumbs over your cheeks and jaw, the little bristles of your light stubble. Sliding to the back of your head where she gently toyed with the ends of your corn rows with her eyes tearing up. “As long as you lay with me tonight.” Smiling shakily, Cassie watched as you leaned up and kissed her nose, forehead, and cheeks, and then finally met her lips. It was soft, sweet, and loving. Just like it always has been.
So, was that frightening? Shouldn’t Cassie be the tiniest bit scared of what you’ve done in your past if you were a criminal? Maybe you’d killed people. Or maybe you’d hurt people that may be deserving or non-deserving of it. But for whatever reason, she felt closer to you than she ever has been since the two of you started dating. Shit, maybe since the two of you last saw one another before tonight.
With caution, Cassie helped patch up your wound with a bandage and moved you to her bed. Allowing you to slip under the covers before soon following with her head resting on your chest. Your heartbeat beats like a drum with a methodical rhythm to it. A calming sound to Cassie's ears as she turned her head slightly and kissed your chest. “I don’t wanna lose you.”
A warm hand came down her back and gently rubbed the curve of her spine. Repeating the motion until Cassie was in a sleepy daze, eyes fighting for a chance to hear if you respond or to just stay with you a little longer. Hang onto this moment a tad bit more. But your silence was suffocatingly comfortable and it left Cassie finally relenting and closing her eyes.
“You won’t, baby.”
But you know that wasn’t the truth, judging by the sirens heard in the distance outside.

DNI IF YOU’RE YOUNGER THAN 18!
You were undeniably a romantic guy.
When you were younger, your mother always said you would be a lady killer. But if you’d known that it left you often not knowing what true love was, then maybe you would’ve tried to do better. Not just for yourself, but for the girls that came into your life expecting you to be a better guy.
Breaking their hearts wasn’t intentional, but just part of your process of looking for the right one. And it seemed after any night you spend with a girl in her bed, the distaste for them grew in a matter of minutes. Leaving you lost all over again, still searching for her.
She didn’t have a name yet. Neither did she have a face. All you knew is that you were destined to find her, sooner or later. But with your tirade of going through women like coupons at your favourite store, the hope of finding the one was fading each day that passed by you.
At first glance, you thought it to be Maddy Perez. Her nature was carefree and unbothered by a lot of the shit that happened around her. Willing to speak her mind without much care for what others might think of her. And out of school, she had a side most weren’t exactly accustomed to. Which only made her that more abstract to most.
“Y/n- Oh, God!” Her small frame was bent over, her hands resting against the dressing room wall. Eyes focused on the mirror in front of her as you pounded into her from behind. Hands holding her hips tightly as you propelled your hips forward, slamming into hers.
A hand slithered up to her neck and forced her to stand up. Her sweaty back pressed against your hot chocolate skin. She whined, moaned, and whimpered as you pounded her relentlessly. Watching the reflection of you two and enjoying the sight of her eyes rolling back.
Appraisals of your name fell from her lips as she pleaded and begged you to not stop. But after that night, she went running back to Nate Jacobs. So, she wasn’t going to ever see you as something more than a quick fuck or a friend. In no way did you blame her for not staying, it made your honest feelings more justifiable.
Then there was Cassie Howard. The girl with the golden hair, as you liked to say. She was sweet and kind to you anytime she saw you. In comparison to Lexi, Cassie wasn’t the greatest of people though.
But you didn’t like holding that type of stuff against people like her. With the cards she was dealt in life, she had to find a way to continue to live. And it didn’t surprise you that there could be some part of her that was broken. Some part of her she tried to fill with sex and drugs.
“Y/n!” Her thighs shook with each lap of your tongue over her slit. Watching her face contort in pleasure as you continued to suck and lick eagerly at her clit. Fingers continued to pump into her tight entrance as her walls fluttered around your digits.
Her skin was so soft as you squeezed at it and rubbed sensually. Showing some sign of comfort as your tongue and fingers showed the opposite. It was enough to send the girl’s mind into a flurry as her hands rested on the sides of your head. She began to rock her hips against your lips and tongue, desperate to reach the precipice that she deserved.
“Holy fuck!” She cried, tits bouncing as her hips jolted up to grind against you.
You worked her up to it until she let out a cry. Body shaking and twitching as you pulled your face from her heat. Allowing your fingers to continue to pump slowly in and out of her pussy. Softly curling your fingers and smiling when her legs twitched with a whimper.
But just like Maddy, she left you feeling unfulfilled. Still continuing to search for this girl that you knew must be real or else what was the point of love in the first place, right? Wouldn’t it just be a false construct shown and shoved in your face since you were just a toddler? That’s something you would like to believe, but when you went to school and saw all the couples and happy, you knew there was something out there for you. Perhaps it wasn’t something as beautiful as others, but at least it would be something, right?
Well, that was what you had hoped when Lexi came your way. That soft smile of hers on her lips as she showed her passions through and through. The way she talked about her certain hobbies or dreams and spoke with such confidence or enthusiasm showed enough of how good of a person she was.
Her whimpers bounced off the walls of the small change room. They sounded in your ear where her mouth resided. Her arms wrapped around your neck as she slowly rocked her hips. Trying her absolute best to take your entire cock. Every time she came down to the base, her mind became hazy and she shot back up.
Your hands softly rested on her waist and helped her ride your cock. Eyes shut in bliss as you soaked in the feeling of her walls convulsively squeezing around your length. Her soft whimpers in your ear as she bounced quicker on your cock. Whimpers transform into moans as she clung onto you for tear life.
What you hadn’t expected were her teeth to latch onto your shoulder. The pain sent a shock through your system, but it numbed when you found it to be somewhere between pleasurable and relaxing. So, with that in mind, you wrapped an around Lexi’s waist and another grabbed onto her shoulder before you suddenly began to pound upwards into her.
It was enough to have her teeth extracting from your flesh with a moan. But was silenced when you grabbed her face and slammed your lips together. You swallowed her moans she tried to communicate that she was about to cum. And when she did, her entire body shook.
A breathy moan fell from her lips as her hips twitched forwards, rocking unsteadly. You sent abrupt thrust upwards, ripping cries from her lips as she continued to kiss you sensually. Her hands running up and down your chest with a smile.
All three of those girls were ones that you expected to possibly her. The girl that you would be able to call your soulmate. But they all just came out to be hookups. Nothing more and nothing less.
And it hurt knowing that for however long, you would be working at this North Face. Folding clothes and talking to parents who just want a cheap deal for their kids. It was a sad and miserable life you would continue to live until life sought you fit for something more.
Until then, for every girl that walked through the doors, you would fall in love with each one and hope there might be something in store for the two of you.

Summary: You did everything to make her feel worth it, but she gained it from another...

Warnings: slight angst with a bit of sad fluff
Words: 1450
The stars hung high tonight. Their glow brightened this particular night.
Sand shifted beneath your feet with the minuscule rocks pressing against them gently. And the ocean collapsed and washed up on the shore in a certain rhythm. Its harsh smell can be blocked out by the pure beauty of the moon’s shape reflecting off its surface.
It was tragic. If there was any way you could set it all on fire, you would. Maybe you would find comfort in the flame and get lost in it. But removing the time capsule of the memories connected would fucking destroy you. Because that would ultimately mean giving up moments of joy and raw love you’d felt then.
On a none systematic point, the time so fondly thought upon was wild and random. It was the peak of your high school life and where you had ventured further from your friend group. Seeking out people to make friends with or finally making your move on Lexi Howard. The girl who had been your MJ since grade school.
She told you everything that she loved and one of them was the ocean. How it looked in the night and how it felt more natural being here than in her skin at times. And you strove to make her feel worth it and more.
You gave up the vices you sought comfort in. You were content. But she flipped the world upside down and made your heart swollen. Just receiving a mere glance from her would make you stumble over your words like an idiot. Or hearing her laugh would make you choke on your breath.
There wasn’t much you wouldn’t do for Lexi. To only know that these feats you had managed for this girl would end up with her in the passenger seat with a drug dealer.
And maybe you still would’ve done these things. Maybe you wouldn’t have swam into the ocean and grabbed shells to gift her. Or the amount of money you had spent taking her on road trips. All of these had stacked up to the point where you could’ve been in financial ruin–but you loved her still.
Even now, standing at this beach with the continuous waves hitting the tips of your shoes, you managed to think so fondly of those memories despite how they turned out for you.
Looking to your right, you saw the group of classmates you spent years with. A class reunion. Maddy was still enjoying life and taking it by the balls. Spending time with celebrities in L.A. Cassie, well, she was nowhere to be found. Rue was living happily with Jules–still healthy after getting sober all those years ago. And Lexi was going big with her plays in New York. She was a full-scale writer and set designer.
But you? You went to school and pursued cooking. Got out of school and quickly realize that there was little to nothing you had entitled to. So, you moved. There had been no destined location in mind. You were managing to get by at some of the restaurants you worked at and as shitty as it sounded, you were happy. It was just a matter of time before you caught a break and could feel that pay off after everything you’ve been through.
It was beautiful, to say the least. Seeing all your friends here, hearing everything they’ve been up to. It made you wonder why you had even thought that coming here would be a terrible idea.
The shifting of sand under footsteps drew your attention. Turning to find Lexi with a sheepish smile, hands clasped around a red solo cup. “How’s life treating you, Y/n?”
Maybe it had been the timing and the greeting because of your prior thoughts, but you smiled. Letting a soft chuckle slip from your lips as you shrugged, shoving your hands into your denim pockets.
“Jumping from location to location has its perks. Get to see places I never thought existed,” you explained, exhaling heavily. “But it can’t be as good as being a big-time playwriter, right?”
Lexi shrugged bashfully, smiling up at you. “I wouldn’t say big-time, Y/n. But it’s been my dream and I’m getting to live through it. So, it’s been good.”
It was hard maintaining any conversation with her without it dissolving into remnants of your favourite memories. Sparking those forgotten emotions might be the worse thing you could do tonight. Because if you were being honest with yourself, you likely wouldn’t see her again after tonight. Just by fate or the decision to try and forget her for your sake.
“How’s Fez?” You inquired suddenly, clearing your throat and looking down at your feet.
“He’s Fez,” she laughed, “Still working tirelessly and still using his head to make ends meet on his end.”
“I heard you guys are having a kid.” It hurt seeing it on Facebook. Seeing how ecstatic she’d been with the news and how everyone was happy for her. And as much as you didn’t want to be selfish or weird, you’d imagined the two of you to have kids. Start a family in New York and strive for both of your guys’ dreams. But as much as your soul hurt, you were happy for her. “You thought of any names for it?”
Lexi laughed. “It?” She repeated giggling. “We haven’t thought of a name for her yet. But, I haven’t been able to sleep because names keep bouncing around in my head.”
You smiled, humming, deep in thought. That was something you’d be on the receiving end of hearing - especially from her. Maybe it was just you grasping the final pieces of reality, but it still shook you to your core hearing and acknowledging she was having a kid with Fez.
Sighing, Lexi looked out at the ocean and smiled. “Been a while since we’ve been here together, huh?”
“Yeah, 10 years or so, right?”
Lexi nodded, exhaling softly. “You know, I never told you how much of an influence you’ve had in my life,” she breathed. “Like, I don’t think I would’ve gone for my dreams without you.”
You blew a raspberry, shaking your head. “Nah, I didn’t do much.” You glanced down at her, sparing a pitiful smile. Truthfully, you don’t think you were in any way connected to her motivation or drive to pursue her dreams. If anything, you resembled a mosquito in the back of her mind that wouldn’t leave her alone.
But it did feel nice to live with that little bit of pride and happiness. Even if it was for such a short period of time.
“I don’t think you even realize the power you had.” Lexi looked up at you in question. Seeing that faint smile on your lips as you scoffed, shaking your head. “You had this thing about you. Like, you could give confidence to anyone who needed it. You appear in a room–it would clear everyone out and give you the center stage, you know what I mean?”
Lexi nibbled on her bottom lip, watching you turn to her with a sigh. “And despite how I feel and how much I love you, I am so fucking proud of you, Lexi. Really. You deserve all of what you have. The kid, Fez, the job. You deserve every-fucking-bit of it.” Hesitantly, you placed a hand on her head and ruffled her hair, smiling when she grumbled. “Remember your worth, Lex. You are amazing. Don’t ever forget that.”
Leaning down, you kissed her head before brushing past her. So quick yet so gentle, it felt like a gust of wind danced past her. And it took a few moments for her to realize your words before she spun around to see your fleeting figure. It becomes disfigured in the darkness of the night with only the moonlight giving way of your departure.
She couldn’t contain the tears that stung the brim of her eyes. A natural heat of emotions blossomed and enveloped her entire face as she squinted, wanting to take in the last bit of you and take in every detail. “Y/n! What do you mean?”
You stopped for a moment, stuffing your hands in your pockets and turning toward her, smiling softly. “It’s something I never got to tell you before you left Highland. Maybe things would’ve been different if I did.” A tear slid down your cheek as you chuckled sadly. “But you need to know that talking to you and getting to know you has been the greatest thing in my life.”
Nodding to yourself, almost looking like you were finalizing something, you said, “I hope I see you again, Lex.”

DNI IF YOU'RE YOUNGER THAN 18!
When Cassie came home from a party out with Nate, she hadn’t expected the place to be so quiet. Her mom had gone on another hopeless date whilst Lexi was nowhere to be seen. But when she had ventured towards her room, she had heard the sound of groans and moans filling the air.
She reached the edge of the door and felt her hand instinctively come up and cover her mouth. Not able to see much besides the silhouettes of your and Lexi’s naked bodies. A large wet patch where your pelvis was able to be seen in the shine of the streetlights outside.
Now, it wasn’t like Cassie expected her sister to never have sex because it would happen sooner or later. But what shocked her was the position she had you in. Laying on the bed, arms tied down with one of her hands around your throat.
“Open your mouth, baby,” Lexi ordered softly. Instantly obeying, you stuck your tongue out and the girl seized the rock of her hips. Leaning down and spit in your mouth before forcing your mouth to shut. You swallowed it greedily and groaned when the girl continued to bounce on your cock. “Such a good boy for me.”
Seeing this side of her sister was definitely eye-opening, as well as you. For months, you had been dating Lexi and seemed like you were the one making her submit willingly. But now that the tables were turned and the curtains had been drawn, she was only now realizing how erotic the both of you were. And she wouldn’t lie with the fact that she wished she had it as well.
Your fists were clenched and your head rolled back as you tugged. Hoping to break free from the silk rope that cuffed your wrists comfortably. Biting your bottom lip with a whine, one that Lexi heard and grinned maniacally at.
“Is my baby boy getting needy?” She asked mockingly. “Tell me what you want, y/n. I might just give it to you.”
“I-I wanna touch you- Fuck, Lexi.” You grunted as the girl slammed her hips down harder against your pelvis. A seductive growl emitted from the deepest part of Lexi’s chest as she rolled her hips forward. Enjoying the feel of your needy cock stuffing her and the tip gently nudging the sensitive spots inside her pussy.
“Give me a baby and I promise you, you can touch me all you want, sweetheart.”
Cassie’s lips parted, heat flooding her body as she was unable to look away from the couple. Thighs rubbing together shamelessly.
“I want you to breed me, Y/n. Knock this tight little pussy up, baby,” Lexi moaned out, head falling back.
You panted, eyes looking down at where the two of you met, able to see the white liquids from the past few times Lexi had orgasmed on your cock. Using you to pull out her own pleasure and painfully make the process hell on earth for you to finish. Always willing to just play with your release and keep you going for as long as she could until she would eventually milk your cock dry every last drop.
Lexi’s hands splayed across your torso. Leaning down licking a long strip across your dark flesh, whilst keeping eye contact with you and rocking her hips urgently.
Swallowing the lump in your throat and the punishment you would receive for your insubordination, you planted your feet hard into the mattress and began to pound into her.
The gasp that fell from Lexi’s lips slowly transformed into moans. Lips forever etched into a grin as her walls fluttered around your cock. Only pulling you closer and closer to the edge you had been deprived of for 2 hours now.
Lexi’s hands cupped your face and the look in her eyes was something darker. Something you were used to seeing and only managed to turn you on. She looked like a completely insane person when it came to your orgasm and she wasn’t afraid to show it. But that was also a sign that the next time she got you into bed, the punishments would only be worse than they were before. But you were willing to take the risk.
“C’mon, Y/n. Cum for me,” she urged with a moan. “Pump that cum into my pussy. Put a baby in me, Y/n. Don’t you dare fucking stop.”
Her urgent words, almost taunting you, had finally pushed you over and you let out a guttural moan. Hips legs tensing and sitting flush to Lexi’s swollen pussy. The girl gasped, lips parted in a grin as she stared down at the cum that slipped through the cracks and streamed down your abused cock. Lexi’s eyes rolled back each time your hips bucked with aftershocks, letting out a small chuckle as she soaked up the pleasure.
Soon enough, you felt Lexi slip off your cock and sit between your legs. Fingers pushed your cum back into her and purred when she found your gaze focused on her actions. “You’re such a good boy.”
Cassie was left to watch onward as her sister untied your bindings and covered the both of you. Backing away from the door slowly and quickly made her way down the stairs and out the door. “I’m never coming back. Fuck that!”

ello mate! glad to hear your requests have come back :)
i have a request for you if you have the spare time. it’s a cassie howard x older brother bennet!reader. he’s definitely a bit taller than rue, also has this mean scary looking face [resting bitchface 🤷] and deep voice. he use to be addicted to alcohol and taking opiates before he got clean around the same time as rue. he and cassie had been dating since she broke up with mckay and since then, she’s always helped him deal with his urges. [maybe something like always hiding her mom’s wine when he comes over and he notices and is like “i’m not going to steal you mom’s drinks” or something around there] reader was even there when cassie was getting her abortion. [she ended up not being able to do it alone and called for reader] but since he and rue have been clean, he works hard to earn his things back. [trust, loyalty, working jobs, buying himself or cassie things- including rue, gia, or leslie]
getting back on topic, it’s their last year in high school and they’re finally graduating. so, to celebrate the amazing news, the group either goes to the bennet household for a cookout or howard household for jacuzzi and drinks. they’re also celebrating y/n being nearly 2 years sober- cassie being so proud and just smiling the entire night at him- [he started drinking after his father’s death- and since he’s older, he’s only older by a year] so, this is basically a cassie supporting her sober alcoholic boyfriend who is also rue’s older brother and a close friend of Lexi and Jules. [since he met lexi before meeting cassie- and bcs rue always spoke about jules]
thanks again, lovely! hope you’re having an amazing night/morning!

The extra detail and background is always appreciated!!

DNI IF YOU'RE SENSITIVE TO THE WARNINGS ABOVE!
People like you weren’t supposed to be given a second chance.
The people who had thrown their life away, destroying every meaningful relationship they had that could help them get clean. For so long, these people would hide their pain, hide what ate away at them. Putting up fake smiles and saying fake statements with the opiates controlling the mind and the body. They weren’t in the driver's seat anymore as the drugs and the alcohol were.
And now with such a toxin controlling your every move, you had no say in how you could make others feel. You could make your friends feel like shit, hit your little sister, scare your mother, risk your and your twin sister’s life, and still feel nothing. It was a dangerous thing those drugs did to you. Creating a hollow husk of your body people no one could recognize anymore. Wondering where that smile of yours went off to. Or the warm embrace you used to be so willing to give to your friends. It’s like you were a ghost to everyone who cared for you.
But they only saw the surface-level shit. That fabricated shit that you used as protection from the ones willing to put in the time to truly see you. Because underneath all the bullshit, you were a fucking mess. A trainwreck of a boy who couldn’t come up with a sentence without nodding off or itching for that bittersweet taste of whiskey on your tongue.
Most couldn’t see it. The distant look in your eyes when you sat in the hallways with your sister. The overwhelming anger that radiates from your pores. No one except Rue could understand the feeling you felt. Only bringing you closer to Rue, who you shared drugs and alcohol with. And when you were kicked out of your house, forced to live on the streets, you felt a lot closer with Rue when you moved in with Fez. With her coming around frequently, you were there to smoke up with her and drink whenever she wanted.
It felt like this for a while. You, are surrounded by people but still feel so alone in this hopeless and destructive world. You didn’t want it. You hadn’t wanted it since your dad died, but here you were, pumping fentanyl into your blood in hopes that it might bring some peace of mind. But it's then when you’re drugged out of your mind that you start to see visions. Sights of something far greater than this mortal coil able to be responsible for.
It was Cassie.
This ethereal being shouldn’t be able to make you feel certain ways, but she did. She made you feel warm inside, hyper-aware of the things going on with your body, and an overall loss in your thoughts of this beautiful girl. There wasn’t much justice your slurred words could do to truly appreciate such a perfect girl she had always been for you. From the day you lost your dad, she had been there by your side trying to help in any way she could.
And sadly enough, she watched you deteriorate. Your mind slowly spiral into madness, guilt, shame, fury, and dissatisfaction. And that once beaming smile, a warm embrace, and lovable words were now nothing more than your own bitter silence you carried with you every step of the way. There wasn’t a day that passed that Cassie didn’t ache whenever she saw you in the halls. It felt like her oldest friend had been killed and she could’ve saved them.
But she tried every day to help you in any way she was able to. Painfully ignoring the fact that you weren’t the same guy who could lift her onto your shoulders and let her play with your hair. You weren’t the warm body at night she could rely on to keep her warm when she felt alone. But she settled for the part of you that was left. Willing to put up with your attitude towards her, the constant asshole nature you brought with you every time she showed the slightest ounce of care towards you.
Cassie had never held it against you as she knew how terrible you were with letting people in. For a while, you would throw every insult under the moon at her. Hoping it would keep her away, show her the type of guy you were, but she always came back around. Comforting you despite how undeserving you were of such a treatment.
She was the one to bring peace to your mind. Able to balance you out from the drugs/alcohol and sobriety. Not once judging you for who you were and the implications of how you ended up in such a state. Cassie ended up being all you ever needed in your life. Having her company often at Fezco’s or at the gas station when you worked late hours.
And for a while, you were getting better. You were starting to get off the hardcore opiates and started to drink more water in replacement for alcohol. And guess who was there? That’s right, Cassie was! She helped you and held you through every single step, her heavenly warmth being enough to eradicate every infection in your body. But one thing she couldn’t help you get rid of was the harmful presence your family could cause you.
You were a fragile human being. Most didn’t suspect such from a tall dude who had a permanent resting bitch face, but you were soft. You could take bullshit but you were vulnerable to the idea of emotion and willing to show that if the time seemed fit and you felt the need to do so. But it’s this that made people be able to get to you easier and have you bawling.
Eating away at the scrambled eggs on the plate in front of you, Cassie’s phone played a gentle tune from Sam Cooke. The quiet diner was empty besides the small booth you occupied whilst Cassie had gone out to grab something from your car.
“Y/n.” The call of your name had you humming, grabbing a napkin and beginning to clean your hands as you turned your head. But you felt your eyes widen at the sight of your Mother. Beside her was Cassie who still wore your sweater from the previous night. A nervous smile on her lips, clearly telling you that she was reluctant on the ambush they’d just pushed onto you.
Swallowing the lump in your throat, you stood up from the booth. Pursing your lips as you glanced between the two, unsure of what to say or do. After you started getting sober, you stopped talking to Rue. It wasn’t like you wanted to, but you just didn’t need to risk your own health to stay connected with someone who didn’t want to live.
But for Gia and Leslie, they hadn’t called or texted you once since you were kicked out. Safe to say you didn’t hold it against them, especially after the hell you put them through. And it wouldn’t be too far off for them to feel a bit uncomfortable being in your presence as your mother was right now. You, personally, didn’t like the idea either and you didn’t like seeing Leslie again. Simply because you didn’t want anything to happen to repeat itself. Not after you’ve gotten this far.
And Cassie wasn’t going to risk that either. But she knew that you deserved this. As nice as it was for her to be at yours and Fezco’s place all the time, you had only seen her. Kids at school didn’t even count because you just ghosted through the halls without people noticing. When breaks came around, Cassie couldn’t find you. So, this is the only time she would ever pressure you into seeing other people besides her.
“How about we take a seat, yeah?” Cassie smiled, motioning for Leslie and Gia to take the opposite to you.
As they slid in, you softly grabbed Cassie’s arm. “Why did you bring her?”
“You deserve to talk to her,” Cassie whispered. “Try to mend broken relationships while you can. I’ll be right here with you.”
There was a bit of reluctance in your body, feeling it growing heavier as you let out a sigh. You knew Cassie would force you to stay here and try to interact with your family. Ever since she’s forced herself into your life, she’s always tried to do the best thing for you. But in this situation, the conflict of it being good or bad was still up for debate.
Sliding into the other side after Cassie, you quietly pulled your plate to sit in front of you. Again, you didn’t know what to say to the woman opposite you. You know you’d been thinking of this situation in your head a million times. Knowing every single word you wanted to say and every single pitch your voice would hit. But right now. There were no words or actions that could fall on your flabbergasted mind. All you could feel was the genuine hurt in your heart seeing the woman who’d nurtured you since you were just a babe.
“Gia has been asking for you.” You stopped chewing for a moment, glancing up at your mother before continuing, averting your eyes to your food. “She was hoping you would come home and have dinner with us-”
The clattering of utensils against glass filled the suddenly cold air. Cassie’s hand that was under the table immediately grasped your knee. Her eyes burned the side of your face as your lips began to wobble. The faint stinging was noticed behind your eyes as you shook your head. She didn’t have the right to do this after she kicked you out.
“Stop guilt-tripping me, mom.”
Leslie seemed confused, maybe even a little offended by the demand. “I wasn’t trying to-”
“You’re making me feel horrible when you were the one that kicked me out,” you spat. “You kicked me out. Don’t be trying to make me feel some type of way when you put yourself in that position.”
Cassie, forever playing the balancing point, tried to defuse the building argument. “How about we talk about something else, alright?”
But of course, her suggestion fell on deaf ears. “No,” Leslie hissed sharply. “You do not get to put that on me. You started drinking and it started affecting everyone else in the house. You hit Gia and me for god sake.”
“Have you ever thought why I started drinking and fucking up my life, hmm?” You asked, leaning on the table. “It's because after dad died, I was now the support everyone needed. I was the boy who had to stay up all night holding his sisters until they cried themselves to sleep. I was the boy who helped you pay bills. I had to pull the extra weight. I had to try and help raise my two sisters who didn’t want shit to do with me.”
“You asked me to change before I ever go to find out who I was,” you said. “I didn’t know a single damn thing about myself because I was there picking up the pieces you couldn’t. All I ever knew was our family and the pain that was attached to the fucking name. So, when I start releasing stress with alcohol, you tell me I’m bad before I ever got to be anything! What kind of shit is that?”
“Do you not realize the similarities you and Rue were showing after your father died?” Leslie asked, voice giving the faintest of wavers with her eyes beginning to well up. “I could tell the moment you started coming home late that you were on something. It if be drugs or alcohol, I knew you were falling apart-”
“I was falling apart way before you even noticed, mom!” You cried out, the dam of emotions and unspoken words finally breaking. “You never cared to notice because Rue was a handful and Gia was just a baby. But I was falling apart and you didn’t give me a single passing thought. You didn’t question the stained blood on my bathroom floor. Not once!”
Tears streamed down your cheeks as the woman sitting across from you was speechless. Flabbergasted by such a well-known and obvious thing about you. Cassie had even known when she first met you, knowing that you didn’t get the same amount of attention as your siblings. How your smile didn’t seem to reach your eyes. It was painfully obvious and Cassie felt some form of anger towards Leslie for not giving you the time and affection you needed.
“You didn’t kick me out because of how I affected anyone.” You shook your head, leaning back in your seat with your hand grabbing Cassie’s that still held your knee. “You kicked me out because you were too embarrassed to admit that you don’t like who I am.”
“Y/n, hold on-”
“No, I’m done.” You slid out from the booth. Cassie quickly follows, muttering out pleas for you to sit back down and give this a chance. But you knew that being in a room with the woman who you once called your mother wouldn’t last long. Either you would get hurt or she would and you weren’t taking any chances. “I’d have a better and more heartfelt conversation with a brick wall than a woman who has her head so far up her ass she can’t see the fucking light.”
Leslie’s lips parted, ready to bark back a response, but you cut her off. “You know, I’ve found myself!” You exclaimed. “I’ve found my place in this world. I know my significance and I know who I am. And this family has been a miracle for me-” You snapped your fingers, pointing at your mother. ”-But not because of you! Because somebody - Cassie - finally saw me!”
Waitresses and cooks were now all eyes and ears on the argument going on. All of them paying attention to the frustrated tears cascading down the scrunched curves of your face as you scoffed. “And more than that,” you said. “Cassie decided I was worth saving before I ever deserved it! Can I say the same for you?”
You never even gave Leslie a chance to speak before you were walking out of the diner. Tears brimming in your eyes as you tried to ease the ache in your chest and the warm chills that ran down your back when you let out a sob. But as felt sob after sob rack your body, shaking you down to your core, Cassie had practically flung herself at you. Wrapping her arms around you from behind with warmth invading every inch of your body.
Of course, being stubborn and scared, you tried to shrug her off. Fight with your companion who seemed to never once consider abandoning you. “Cassie, please let me go.”
“It’s not your fault.” Something so simple as that had you fighting harder against her. Trying to fight back more of the tears that threatened to spill. “None of this is your fault, Y/n.”
You hung on to every word she spoke and allowed them to relinquish your stubborn front. Something about Cassie gave her the ability to pull you from the deepest depths and save you from your demons, every time. It didn’t feel fair that you hadn’t paid her back for any of it.
But she held onto you nonetheless. Giving you every bit of her time and space as she had driven you from the dinner back to her place. Where Lexi had greeted you with a warm hug with her hands holding your face, brows furrowing together slightly. “Are you okay?”
Just as much as Cassie was there for you, Lexi was as well. Every time you came over to spend time with Cassie, Lexi was always nearby. Not only that, but your guys’ friendship carried on a lot longer than yours with her sister. The only difference is that you found yourself wanting to marry Cassie.
An unlikely connection either girl expected was you and Suze, their mom. Especially when Cassie searched the house in a panic when finding you gone from her bed. Coming down to the living room to see you passed out on the couch with your head resting in her mom’s lap. The thing is, for a while, Suze drank profusely. So, she knew how you felt and knew that particular night, you had been fiending for a drink. Thankfully, she caught you and comforted you with candy, pop, and cuddles.
But that surprising friendship and relatability translated well with your relationship with Cassie and Lexi. And the touchiness with Lexi had always been there since you met her. For a time, you couldn’t keep your hands off of something so innocent and sweet. “I’ll be fine.” You smiled. “How about you and Fez, hey? You give it up for him yet?”
Lexi could only gasp and slap your chest as you heard clattering from the kitchen. Both you and Lexi frowned as you quickly noticed Cassie taking bottles of beer and wine and hiding them. Why she decided to do it with you around, you weren’t sure. But the sight alone showed how much she cared and it was honestly endearing.
“Cass.” Your voice calling for her had her freezing up, turning to look at you. “I’m not going to steal anything. Just because I hate my mom and had an argument doesn’t mean I’ll be back to drinking.” Even though the urge had initially been there when you saw the woman.
And anyone who knew an addict and heard them say such a thing would be reluctant to believe. But Cassie knew you meant it. The light in your eyes was enough to assure her that you would stick to your promise. You always did when it came to her.
Supper went as per usual with you listening to Lexi talk about her day and what everyone else is up to. After that, you would sit and rant with Suze about Million Dollar Matchmaker as Cassie and Lexi laughed at how passionate you got with such a show. Then finally, you were in Cassie’s bed. Gentle tunes of Justin Bieber with Cassie doing braids of your hair with you sprawled out across her bed. Head resting on her stomach as you slightly hummed to Confirmation, fingers lightly tapping against your stomach to the beat.
But with a slight crane of your head, your eyes connected with Cassie’s that seemed full of focus and content. Her brows slightly furrowed as she twisted each length of your hair she could for her own relaxation. The faintest bit of a squint of her eyes as she watched her fingers work effortlessly. She looked so beautiful and relaxed. One of the most astounding sights when it came to being around you.
Your presence was enough to make people be cautious of what to say or do, but when Cassie was with you, she didn’t feel that bit of apprehension on her shoulders. You eased her as much as she did you, and you loved her for it.
“I love you.”
The words came out easier than you had expected. Way easier with the addition of Cassie’s eyes instantly flickering down to yours. There wasn’t any bewilderment or splash of frustration. Just merely admiration and relief.
Her hands fell free from your hair to rest on either side of your face. The upside-down sight of your goofy smile was enough to make Cassie giggle in amusement. “You do know I am dating McKay, right?” She reminded. “You can’t be saying this type of stuff with confidence.”
“I can say it if I mean it,” you countered. “Or if I care enough about the girl to put myself at risk of a beating. I would risk it all for you.”
Cassie’s bottom lip was caught between her teeth. Doing her best to hide the grin and flush that blossomed beautifully across her pale cheeks. Her eyes are soft and slightly lidded with her thumb stroking across your cheek. Causing a gentle sigh to fall from your lips as you let your eye shut with a gentle hum.
Seeing you so relaxed and so peaceful was all Cassie had ever wanted for you. The content feeling of accepting that you had once messed up, you had been a shit show, but you came back better. That was all she ever wanted you to feel when you got sober. And it felt like now, after you stood up to your mother and told her how you felt, Cassie felt like you had finally felt free of the drugs and alcohol.
Leaning down softly, Cassie’s lips ghosted over yours. The first sign of hesitance to be shown to you. Cassie loved you. She wouldn’t lie with that statement. But she also didn’t find it in herself to kiss you because she wasn’t happy with McKay. If she was going to do this, she would have to be patient and wait until she saw McKay again.
“If you’re patient enough, I’ll come to you.” Her thumb brushed against your bottom lip as she smiled. “But I love you, Y/n. Don’t take my lack of initiative to think otherwise. Give me some time and I promise you, I’ll show you just how much I love you.”
Tumblr media
Once upon a time, you thought you were undeserving of love. You thought that once you did something bad, you were always destined to feel such a way. Have people leave your life and tell you that you were the monster you always tried to not become. But when you gave yourself a moment to think, to look, to realize that your entire sanctuary had been right in front of you. And yours had been Cassie.
For two years, she’d been your rock. She carried the weight you couldn’t and she did it with a smile and heart full of love devoted to you. And for two years, she helped you stay sober and keep you in a place you could still be yourself and still be happy with what you have at the moment. Sure, you didn’t have a lot of friendships, you weren’t close with your family, but you were still here. That was what counted. You could be on the corner of some street begging for money or dead in a ditch. But you were here, at your graduation.
Cassie had already grabbed her diploma, but she stayed by the stage to watch you. Before you had even walked on stage, Cassie had been in a fit of giggles watching and listening to you try to hum your guys’ favourite song. Hoping it would result in calming you down, but it did the complete opposite.
But she comforted you, reassured you everything would go fine and you believed her. Willing yourself to your reserved seat with your hands eagerly fiddling with your graduation gown. And when Cassie saw you go up on that stage, she had never felt any prouder. She got to see your beautiful smile, the pure excitement in your eyes. It was something she never thought would come to be.
Through every hardship, you thought you wouldn’t make it this far in your life. But here you were and Cassie could say that her fiance never gave up despite the struggles.
And now, sitting in your car that was situated in the driveway of your family's home, she could see the genuine horror in your eyes and the fear. You had been holding out on coming here since you fought with Leslie. Sure, you saw Rue and Gia occasionally but never once did you try to go talk to your mom. Especially when you proposed to Cassie and Suze allowed you to move into the Howard household. You wanted to enjoy this peace for a little while longer until you had to face your past.
“Hey, baby,” Cassie’s hand grabbed yours, thumb brushing over your knuckles. “Don’t think you’re forced to be here, alright? If you want, we can go home and just spend the night with my mom and Lexi.”
But against your own emotions, you shook your head. “No, I need to do this.” You turned your head to Cassie, smiling softly. “I deserve this.”
Cassie smiled, leaning over the dash to kiss you softly. The pair of you stepped out of your car and walked up the cemented path. Each one took being a piece of your past coming back to you. It felt surreal for you to be here. You hoped your dad was proud of you for taking the initiative.
Taking a deep breath, you rang the doorbell. The sound echoes throughout the house with your hand instinctively interlocking with Cassie’s. Sparing a glance to the blonde who smiled comfortingly, pressing into your side. Making sure you knew she was here for you.
Then the door opened and you looked up to find Leslie. The woman’s lips were parted, eyes slightly wide with the sound of Rue and Gia acting like a bunch of hooligans heard in the background. Even Ali could be heard chastising the pair for acting like children.
“Hey, mom,” you stammered out. “Um…” You glanced at Cassie, searching for the right conversational opener. “Cassie and I are getting married.”
“No shit, Y/n!” Gia called out. “We wouldn’t be surprised if she was having your kid as well!”
You pressed your tongue to the inside of your cheek, corner of your lips turned up into a grin as you shook your head. “Nah, I need to get at this runt.” You brushed past Leslie and walked further into the house.
From there, Cassie and Leslie listened to the sound of Gia screaming in terror before her bare feet padding across the floor could be heard with you exclaiming for her to say those things to your face. Even a glimpse of Rue on your back hitting you in the side of the head with a bottle of Mountain Dew.
Everything you had been doing to better yourself had led up to this point. Where you could be a proper brother and son to the women in your household. You wanted them to be in your life and you wanted to be in theirs.
Leslie smiled, sighing as she turned back to Cassie. Pursing her lips as she nodded with a sense of gratitude. “Thank you, for taking care of him.”
Cassie shook her head. “It’s what he deserved,” she said. “He just deserved a second chance.”

been reading your stories for a while and have been amazed every. single. time! you’ve got talent, mate <3
was wondering if you’d take my request at a cassie howard x black!male reader. he’s a few inches taller than nate, muscular, has a slightly deeper voice and has this resting face that would intimidate a lot of people. him and maddy have been friends since pre-school, so he knows a lot about their friend group and whatnot- (he’s protective of all of them- him and kat being super close since her insecurity about her weight). y/n is a football player, so him and Nate are always seen budding heads when passing the hallways. when nate tries to flirt with cassie and offers to drive her home, reader gets protective in which almost causes a fight and fez to almost jump in with reader- but cassie is the only one who can calm the reader down with her soothing words and touch, so she pulls him out of there and they head to a small diner where the reader and cassie enjoys some milkshakes and burgers.
much love, anon!
I love the extra details. For whoever requested this, thank you! It was hard to find a song that could really represent such a great idea like this. I hope I fulfilled what you wanted!

Pairing: Cassie Howard x Black!male!reader
Summary: Love wasn’t just from who you were born with or were dating. That shit meant a lot depending on who had been there when you were nothing. But your love and heart belonged to a specific blonde who had been by your side since you two met. Nothing about that would change when it came to the beautiful and angelic Cassie Howard.

Warnings: Protective reader, Nate nearly getting curb stomped, and Cassie being an anchor for reader. So basically just fluffy as hell!

The sound of a thundering engine grew peoples attention towards the front of the house. A few of the football players whooping in excitement as they rushed outside. Most continuing to talk and party as they already knew who was coming.
Blinding white lights filled peoples eyes who had been waiting eagerly. A black AMG revving loudly as some of the players yelled. Pulling into the driveway of McKay’s house, you grinned at the sheer crowd of people. Leaning forward when a few of them patted your car, cheering you on as you pulled to a park.
“You always have a dramatic entrance.” Kat looked at you grinning.
“Well, consider it an opening for you and Ethan.” You looked in the backseat where Ethan sat. “Happy you could come to this, man.”
He smiled, dabbing you up and doing your guys’ signature handshake. Meanwhile, Kat rolled her eyes in amusement before all three of you got out.
Kids surrounded you and vehicle as you raised your arms in surrender. Laughing as you moved through with the other wide receiver on the football team slung an arm around your shoulder. Greeting girls and some of your other friends as you made sure to keep close to Kat and Ethan. Not wanting them to think you would abandon them right when you guys showed up.
Popularity had that type of affect on some people. Sometimes they forgot the people who came up with them and had been there, but not you. No. You were unapologetically yourself and didn’t care what others had to say. You hung out with the people you wanted and did what you wanted. And no one had the balls to test that limit.
Kat had been a friend of yours since she met your childhood friend, Maddy Perez. She divulged every bit of stress and insecurities she had and you felt grateful she trusted you with such emotions and thoughts. Which had only pulled the two of you closer. Often being by her side during school to shut down anyone who had something to say to her. And with your frequent presence around her, people knew to back off. “Whoever was Y/n’s friend was off-limits.”
The New Years Eve party was booming with the house practically flooding with kids. Music blasted through the multiple speakers set up around the living room. Red solo cups invading every surface with alcohol making each one sticky to the touch. A quick reminder to not stay the night as you weren’t going to help clean any of this shit.
“Y/n!” A voice called and you turned to find Maddy speak walking towards you. Grinning widely at the sight of you. When she finally reached you, she hugged your waist. Your arms wrapping around her with a grin. “I thought you wouldn’t make it.
“Never in a million years, M,” You said, watching her pull away and fall to your side. One of her arms around her waist as she looked up at you. “So what’s up? What have I missed so far?”
She shrugged, looking across the party. “Nothing much,” she said. “But a guy did touch my ass, so that’s-”
Everything in your expression dropped to your all too familiar resting bitch face that was indecipherable to most people. “Who?”
Maddy couldn’t contain her laugh as she slapped your stomach in amusement. “I’m fuckin’ with you, idiot,” she teased. “Your protectiveness is always so cute.”
Since you were 5, you and Maddy had been friends. She remembers seeing you walk into a salon with your mother. You had sat at one of the waiting chairs with your mother going to get a manicure and hair done. You sat there, anxiously and uncomfortably through the entire process. You stuck out like a sore thumb with your disheveled clothes and a cut on your brow from a recent fight you had been in. For whatever reason, which Maddy couldn’t find the answer to still, she had talked to you.
And ever since then, you two were inseparable. A dynamic duo to speak. You two knew everything about one another and knew what made the other tick. It was good though because you could always trust Maddy to be there for you when you needed her and she expected the same. Which was what she got when your already cosmic size amount of hate for Nate grew when you found out he assaulted her. Let’s just say, you may have or may have not attempted to break his leg during football practice the first day he came back to school.
“Well, it isn’t cute when I got someone bleeding out on the floor for touching you,” you replied. “And don’t say that it’s romantic because it’s not.”
She giggled in amusement as you looked to Kat and Ethan who were beginning to venture further into the house. “Kat, Ethan!” You called out. “Let’s do some shots together in the living room!” They both nodded in agreement and went towards the kitchen where you suspected they would be grabbing the drinks.
With an arm slung around Maddy’s shoulders, you leaned down. “Where’s Cassie?” You mused. “Did she come with Lexi or nah?”
Maddy had to refrain from letting any bit of knowing show. It was harder than she’d liked to admit to not tease you about that being one of the first things you asked her so far tonight. “She said she had gone to the bathroom,” she shrugged. “I’m sure if I text her and let her know you’re here, she’ll come running.”
You nudged her slightly, moving towards the couches where Fez and Lexi were sat talking. Fez stood to his feet and dabbed you up, pulling you in for a hug and pat on the back before Lexi gave you a hug. All of you sat around the center table as McKay had come over to greet you. The two of you having been friends since you had joined the football team.
Soon enough, Kat and Ethan came back with drinks and the night carried on from there. Listening to the conversation the group was having while sharing a joint with Fez. Both of you having come from the same place growing up and you having always gone to him for weed since you were 13. That was a bond not a lot of people could’ve expected but shouldn’t had been surprised.
During a rant from Maddy, your eyes found Nate who was drinking with McKay. When his eyes met yours, you nodded, acknowledging his existence as a living and breathing human (which you hated greatly). He nodded back, all the while the both of you glared at one another.
There had always been problems between you and Nate. Never had there been a time where the two of you got along, not even during football games where teamwork mattered. Both of you were selfish and wanted to outdo the other. A constant game of competitiveness that had never been formally situated verbally. Only actions had spoken enough truth for both of you to understand. As long as he kept his distance, there wouldn’t be any need to do anything violent to the boy.
Playing Liar’s Dice, you kept a casual deadpan as you peeked at your dice. Fez, Ethan, Kat, and Maddy watching anxiously as you peeked up at them. Humming softly and placing your cup over your dice. “Challenge,” you announced. “6 five’s.”
Maddy had stifled the groan that nearly slipped out. Lifting her cup along with the other two and revealed their five dices each. Sure enough, your guess had been spot on leaving the rest of them to groan. A slight twitch of your lips leaving you to lean forward and snatch the 5 $1 dollar bills in the center of the table.
“How the fuck you so good at this, bro?” Fez slurred, glancing over as you handed him a bill in exchange for a few minutes with his joint.
“He used to play it with some of the other kids from our pre school,” Maddy stated. “As thick headed as he can be, he is incredibly smart.”
You snickered, opting for no comment as you took a sip of your drink. The shots with the mixture of at least 3 cups of strong Whiskey, it was starting to take affect. The weed floating in your lungs making your chest warm and lips chapped as you prevented your mouth from becoming too dry with the alcohol in hand.
Which made your jumpiness increase as the sudden presence of someone sitting on your lap made you slightly tense up with a quiet gasp leaving you. Looking up and find none other than Cassie sitting on your lap with a grin. “Well, hello Angel.”
Cassie bit her bottom lip at the deep tone of your voice. Boarding on the line of slurring and exhaustion as it seemed to be much deeper than usual. “Hello to you too,” she grinned, and arm wrapping around your shoulders to lean against your front.
When the others were offered another game, you shook your head but tossed in some money to encourage them to go ahead. Maddy glanced at you and Cassie, a small smile tugging at the corner of her lips before she continued to play with Kat taking Ethan’s place and Lexi doing the same for Fez.
“How’s your night going?” You muttered, leaning back into the couch with Cassie letting her fingers toy with your hair. Suffocating the idea of feeling up on your body. Which was harder than she’d liked to admit.
Through the black t-shirt, she could easily see your defined chest. The shirt straining to stay together with your thick dark bicep’s clenching occasionally. You were built like the hulk from your height and overall muscular build. You were exactly what every girl wanted. And your slight baritone tone of voice did match it.
A shrug was given in response, swaying the thigh she rested on slightly. “Pretty good,” you said. “Just been stealing money from these guys.”
As soon as you said that, Maddy started yelling at Lexi in hysterics. Everyone else laughing in amusement. “Well, I can see your lasting effects have been getting to people,” Cassie chuckled.
You still remember the first day you met Cassie, officially. She’d been a part of the cheer team with Maddy and had been at a multitude of your games. When Maddy showed up at the diner you had planned for a simple little harmless hang out, she brought Cassie with her.
Her beauty up close and personal had been what captivated you. The small and nervous greeting smile she gave with teeth and all. Perfect pink lips alluring as ever as she had slid into the seat opposite of you in the booth with Maddy. Sure, you’d seen her around the halls, classrooms, cafeteria, and at football games. But something seeing her outside of school felt oddly refreshing.
Causing you to lean in and learn more about this girl who had grabbed your attention instantaneously. This is how you usually got with most of the people in Maddy’s group as she never liked keeping you out of the loop of her life. But Cassie, this angel, had snatched you up and pulled you in close and you happily stayed there.
It was safe to say that you were whipped. This girl had caused earthquakes in your world and changed everything for you. Why let something like that go?
“How has your night been?” You asked, taking a puff off the joint before handing it back to Fez.
Cassie resisted the urge to smile bashfully as her cheeks heated at the answer that slipped past her lips. “Better with you here.”
Obviously, there were feelings there that came from both parties. But neither of you had the gravitas to actually make a move. Which was alright in both your books. Better to continue to build something than rush into it head first with love only on your minds.
For the next few minutes, Cassie stayed situated on your thigh with you deciding to jump into the game. Still keeping up a lightless conversation with Cassie despite a piece of your attention being place on the game. And if anyone in the small group huddle knew shit, they knew you weren’t paying attention to the game one bit. Cassie was all you had your eyes and mind on. Now, Cassie knew how intelligent you were, but watching you play a chance on bluffing and chance, you surprised her. If you did lose a challenge, it was rarely that many dice because you always ended up making a comeback and stealing everyone’s money.
The night was going fantastic, great even. That was until you had finally won a game against Kat, who had surprisingly been whooping your ass throughout most of it. Counting up the money with Lexi leaning into your chest with her cheek resting against the side of your head.
“Hey, Cassie!” A voice called and you felt your head snap up at the mention of the girl on your lap. Unsurprisingly, it was Nate who walked over with a drink in hand. “How are you doing, sweetheart?”
You sat silently, watching carefully as to everything Nate did. Showing no effect as to Cassie’s hands subtly grabbing a handful of your shirt on your back. Every person was silent, especially Maddy who shook the cup with her dye inside. Subtly glancing at you as you pocketed the small amount of cash with a hand finding it’s place on Cassie hip. Fez sat back one arm behind the couch with Lexi growing incredibly nervous by how calm you were beside her.
“Uh,” Cassie stammered. “I’m doing good. What’s up, Nate?”
The boy sucked his teeth as he glanced around at the party that had yet to notice the scene going on in center of the house. Music still playing louder than ever, but being blocked out by everyone in the proximity.
“Well, I was wondering if you wanted a ride home,” he offered. “It was getting late and I wanted to talk to you for a bit. Maybe hangout.”
His not so subtle innuendo left your lip twitching as you looked away to take a sip of your drink. Instead of you speaking, Lexi sat up slightly and gave a nervous smile. “Uh, I drove her,” she stated shakily. “I can drive her home when she’s ready.”
Nate’s simple flirtatious tone and expression dropped as he looked at Lexi. “I wasn’t asking you, Lexi.”
“Nate,” Kat spoke up. “Lexi’s got it.”
“Was I talking to you, Kat?”
That had been enough to have you sighing in annoyance. Placing your drink down and patting Cassie’s thigh, silently telling her to stand up. You wiped the corner of your lips as you stood to your feet. Turning your attention to Nate where you stood a few inches taller than him.
“You’ve been drinking, Nate.” You pointed to the red solo cup in his hand. “I’m sure Cass appreciates the offer, but she isn’t getting in a car with you. I also don’t like the tone you gave Kat and Lexi, so I’m going to need you to apologize or walk the fuck away.”
By now, people were noticing the two star football players facing off and had caused a crowd to surround you two. The once carefree atmosphere had created a tension that made most anxious as to what might happen.
Nate smirked in challenge as he took a step closer to you. Sizing you up drunkenly as you turned your head at the bitter smell coming from his warm breath. “What the fuck are you going to do about it, Y/n?”
Hearing that had caused Fez to stand to his feet as he placed his joint down. “Well, if you’re lucky enough, I’ll just put you in the fucking hospital,” you deadpanned. “Apologize or back the fuck off. I won’t ask again, Nate.”
He scoffed, looking past you to Cassie and smiling. “C’mon, Cass,” he encouraged. “I can make your night better.”
When he grabbed her arm, you instinctively wrapped a hand around Nate’s throat and forced him into the nearest wall. Gasp’s filled the air as you lifted a fist, ready to beat this boy to unconsciousness, but a hand grabbed your arm. You knew who it was. Just by the softness and warmth of the touch that created goosebumps across your dark skin.
“Let’s just go, Y/n,” Cassie muttered. “He isn’t worth the energy. Just come with me.”
Your lips parted, harsh and raspy breaths falling from your lips. A slight twitch of your nose was the last thing Nate saw before you pulled your leg back and kneed him in the balls. He let out a cry as he dropped to the floor in gasps and whines.
“Don’t fuck with me or my friend’s, daddy’s boy.” You spit on his face as Cassie grabbed your arm and hastily pulled you out of the house.
Cassie kept a tight grip on your large forearm. The bitter cold breeze making her urge you faster to your car. You were calmer now with being out of reach of Nate, but she could feel the anger seeping through each pore on your body.
She’d taken your keys and forced your ass into the passenger seat before she took the driver seat. This process wasn’t anything new to her as there had been many parties where she had to nearly carry you out of houses and drive you home. You trust no one with your car except her, so she was using it to her full disposal. Carefully pulling out of the drive way of her exe’s place before driving off into the night.
The car ride was silent as ever as you seethed in silence. Cursing quietly and wishing you could’ve at least kicked Nate’s teeth down his throat. He would’ve deserved it after what he did to Maddy. But him grabbing Cassie? Oh, he’d been screwed the moment he uttered a word to her.
Neither of you said a word before the both of you showed up at very familiar diner. Cassie pulled into the parking space and shut the car off with her looking over at you. She nearly giggled at the childish pout you had on your lips.
Withholding the idea of teasing you, she reached across and grabbed your hand. Cocking her head to the smile when you reluctantly looked at her. The neon red LEDs outside the diner hitting your caramel skin perfectly. She smiled softly at you, brushing her thumb over your knuckles. “Let’s get something to eat.”
Silently, you agreed after giving her one of your bomber jackets to keep her warm, which she gratefully accepted. Hoping that you would let her keep it for a little while and have the scent of you on her.
Since you were drunk and high, you stood like a scared dog behind Cassie. Following closely behind her as the two of you slid into a booth together. Cassie watching you rub your eyes, hoping to rid yourself of the exhaustion. Glaring playfully when you heard the blonde giggle in amusement.
After ordering and getting some burgers and fries with the addition of milkshakes, the two of you ate in silence. You were gorging on your burger when you heard Cassie giggle again.
“Girl, if you don’t stop,” you warned, but your voice being muffled by the food as Cassie laughed. “You need to stop.”
“Okay, okay,” she surrendered. “I’ll stop judging.”
“Why were you judging in the first place?”
“Are you hurt?”
“Damn right!” You laughed, licking your lips as Cassie stifled a laugh.
Another brief and momentary silence for over the both of you as Cassie took a sip of her milkshake. Licking her lips as she clasped her hands on her lap. Wringing them together as she looked down.
“Thank you, Y/n.” You raised your head up at her, face having gone back to it’s normal deadpan. She looked up at you with teary eyes and a shaky smile. “Not a lot of guys have stood up for me like that. So, thank you.”
That bitter truth had left you grabbed a napkin and cleaned your fingers. Laying your hand across the table, which she took in an instant. You squeezed her hand gently with a small smile formed on your lips. “I would do anything for you, Cassie,” you told her. “You don’t have to thank me for anything. You deserve a lot more than what guys have given you.”
She wiped away a tears that slipped from her eyes. Chuckling softly as she squeezed your hand in thanks. Both of you staring at one another for a moment longer than usual.
But before you could say anything, Cassie licked her thumb and reached over to wipe the ketchup on the corner of your lips. “Has that been there the entire time?”
“Yup,” Cassie chuckled, grabbing a napkin to clean her digit.
“And were you planning on not telling me?”
“Yup,” she repeated with a grin. “It would’ve been funny seeing you walk around with ketchup on your face. But I decided to save you the moment of embarrassment.”
A groan came from you as you shoved a fry in your mouth. “I hate you.”
“Oh, shut up,” she smirked. “You love me.”

When you had nothing, you had Cassie Howard.
Everyone knew this as you were by her side since Pre-school. Accompanying her at each party she went to and verified if a guy was good enough for her. But most of the time, she just went behind your back to go fuck a few dudes. And when pictures and videos of her were leaked to every student in East Highland, you were at her house comforting her and promising to help bury them in the past.
And she was there for you when your parent's belligerence extended towards you. Their abusive behaviour’s shaping every step they took, which led to destruction. But Cassie was there. Putting up with the smallest of things like a household smelling like smoke and cigarette stains clinging to the decor, making it unsafe to touch anything in your house. When no one was there to understand your situation, Cassie was there to hold you and listen to what you had to say.
It’s always been hard for you to accept the fact that you only had one friend. With a kid who’s lived in poverty all his life, you expected to make some friends on your block. Stay out late on the street corner making money how everyone else in your neighbourhood has. But no matter how much you tried, you were only left with Cassie. And it wasn’t like you didn’t appreciate her because you did. She’s been there in your darkest times, and there has been a real bond created between the both of you. But people needed to reach out farther and go into situations they weren’t comfortable being.
That had been basketball as you quickly rose through the roster with skill. Making it to the starting lineup with pure ease. Perhaps balling with kids on your block toughened you up quite a bit. But you showed true potential, and you could see it. A real chance to make something of yourself and get the hell out of the hell hole you called your home. And Cassie was there to support you and help in any way you sought fit.
You got a sponsor after Cassie posted a viral video of you having a 63-point game. Highlights being posted on many verified accounts on Instagram and even having some of your highlights on ESPN. It was a dream that came true and a wave of popularity at Highland you didn’t wish to entertain. Sticking with the blonde that had been there for you since you were just 3-years-old.
Years went on, you found more friends, you continued playing basketball, you won East Highland a championship and you were getting offers from across the country. With the money you earned from your sponsor, you got yourself an apartment across Highland to get away from your parents. But something was missing and that was Cassie.
Things were strange nowadays. You didn’t see her as often as you used to. If anything, she was avoiding you and after years of knowing which classes you would be taking, she knew which hallways to go down to avoid you. It’d been since McKay’s New Year’s Eve party that this weird started forming in your stomach. Stirring each time you saw her and watched her avoid interacting with you. Something was changing and you weren’t sure what could be responsible.
After years of being by one another’s side, you expected her to maybe reach out. That was something you expected, but you hadn’t expected her to stay under your wing whilst hiding the fact that she had any correlation with you. Asking for money when she saw a nice Birkin bag, but never stated that it was you who bought it for her.
If you’d known any better, you may have kept your money to yourself. Kept the ones who seemed to genuinely care for who you were as a person a lot closer. Maybe you should’ve cut things off with Cassie ahead of time when you started to see the signs of something going on with her.
But the least you expected was to get a text from Lexi, pleading you to come over to her house as soon as possible. And you did, cutting off your workout early and driving across town to Howard’s house. You wish you could be more presentable with your purple durag, wife beater, and basketball shorts being all you could wear. But you arrived just in time to see Maddy rushing out of the house in tears with Kat on her tail.
You frowned, getting out of your car and walking up the path leading to the wide-open front door. As soon as you stepped inside, you sensed an odd form of tension in the air. Glancing around and hearing the faintest sound of crying.
“She’s been hooking up with Nate.” Lexi’s sudden presence and the statement had you flinching. Glancing over at her from the living room towards the stairs. You’ve had your troubles with Nate ever since grade school. Dealing with his not-so-subtle racist comments whenever you beat him in a sport. It got so bad that you made Cassie promise that she would never associate herself with him.
“How long?” You asked in a quiet voice.
Lexi pursed her lips. “Since New Year’s.”
All you could offer was a quiet hum before you started making your way up the stairs. Entering the shared bedroom belonging to Lexi and Cassie. Proceeding towards the bathroom where you could hear the quiet sobs on the other side of the door. With gentleness, leaned against the door, sitting on the floor with a sigh.
The lanyard of your car keys was taken between your fingers. Keys jingling together enabling Cassie to glance at the door, sniffle and wipe her face before she seated herself against the door. “Y/n?”
“Yeah,” you sighed, “it’s me.”
With your presence being now known, Cassie felt herself relax, to an extent. Only because now, she had to face the fact that you now understood why she hadn’t been around much.
Clearing your throat, you rested your head against the door. “I think tonight we should just be honest with each other,” you announced. “I know aren’t happy anymore being around me and I can understand that.”
Cassie felt a new wave of tears as she covered her face, but you continued. “I lost you way back and I know I kept you from guys who may have wanted your heart,” you acknowledged. “But I kept you with me because I wanted you to have a bright future ahead of you. I mean, you have double the followers on your Instagram than everyone combined. But when I thought I brought you up with me, you were still at the bottom and that’s where you’ll stay.”
You stood to your feet, hand pressing to the door. “I just don’t know how you could even like being there and call it normal,” you said. “But if that’s where you feel like you belong, then so be it. But I’ll always love you, Cassie. And whenever you need me, you know where to find me.”
And Cassie was left speechless, listening to your muffled footsteps before the door clicked shut. Losses were natural to life, but losing someone who has never wanted anything else but for you to succeed hurts the most.

I wanted to know if you could write a maddy perez fic, it can be multiple parts if you want, and base it on the song over- lucky daye. Like have them fucking in the beginning, maddy leave the reader right after, saying the fwb thing was over. when the reader moves on to cassie or rue maybe, maddy gets mad and confronts the reader. and then the reader is like "cause i thought it was over" and can you title it as over pls, wait i might be overstepping. title it what u want. i love ur fics, they make me happy. DNI IF YOU’RE YOUNGER THAN 18!
You never understood how you found yourself in these situations. Body hovering over Maddy’s, lips ghosting over hers with pants intermingling between the both of your guys’ bruised lips. Your hips rocked into hers till they were flush and you could listen to Maddy’s soft moans fill your ears. And when you speed up, teasing her, she screamed, begging and praising you.
This was routine. As sad as the truth was, this was something that became normal in your life. The constant on and off friends with benefits relationship you had with the notorious Maddy Perez. When you got the call that her parents were gone, you were on your way to her house with one intent in mind; sex.
“O-Oh, fuck!” Maddy cried, nails scarring your brown skin that glistened with sweat sliding down your body, the street lamp outside giving the all the natural light needed for you to see the girl beneath you.
She looked beautiful like this. Hell, she looked beautiful any other time you had seen her. But here, with you so deep inside her that your mind-numbed, she looked perfect like this. Lips parted, shameless cries falling free, legs trembling on either side of you, and her nails forever making their mark in your flesh. This is one of the times you got to see the most beautiful side of Maddy.
Your hips slammed against hers at a rapid pace, already feeling your stomach churn with the inevitable release. Groaning into your neck where many dark bruises were left in your wake. A noticeable bite marks able to be seen with red surrounding the wound.
Maddy moaned, legs wrapping around your waist. “You’re fucking amazing, Y/n,” she panted. “Don’t stop. Please don’t stop, baby.”
Listening to her commands, you held your pace. Holding off your release to get her to where she needed, which was hastily approaching. From the way her wall clenched around your cock was enough. And with each plunge you performed on her entrance, she was reaching her high quicker than ever.
And as soon as she reached it, her hands fell to her blankets where she balled them into your hands. Nails likely piercing the fabric as she screamed out, walls quivering around you and pulling you over the edge. Your hips bucked with a moan. Her whimpers and moans came as music to your ears as you slowly eased her to reality.
Carefully pulling out of her, acknowledging her whines as she immediately felt empty without you inside of her. But you did your normal aftercare, wipe her clean of sweat that clung to her forehead and give her some water to soothe her aching throat from the constant cries.
It would be a lie if you said you never thought about furthering this relationship more than what it was now. After all, you guys were close. Outside of the sex, the both of you hung out at school and at parties. Frequently being spotted together at restaurants where you just wanted to treat her nice. Inch her into the life that she would have if she was with you. Would it be so bad for you two to date? Fall into the real emotions besides the momentary desire for just a few hours before the both of you carried on with your days until Maddy beckoned you back.
But in some way, you understood that something real between you and Maddy would never stay or even happen. No matter how much attention you gave this girl, it would mean nothing in the end. You were wishing upon dreams that were far out of reach and you had yet to accept that fact.
After tying up the used condom and tossing it into the garbage can, you sat on the edge of Maddy’s bed. Heart still thudding against your rib cage as you slipped your boxers on. Tilting your head to the side, cracking it as you stood to your feet with a hop, pulling the briefs up.
Those dangerous eyes you had unmistakably fallen in love with were focused on you. And when you met them, there was some type of dismissiveness to them that you could see. Which made you smile slightly, raising a brow. “What’s up?”
She shook her head, lips pursing. “Nothing.”
“Maddy, c’mon.” You crawled across the bed, laying on your stomach and resting your head on her lap and looking up at her. “I know something’s going in that beautiful mind of yours. Talk to me.”
Her fingers threaded through your hair, tugging gently at the roots with her lips parting. She looked hesitant, almost contemplating if she should brush it under the rug or wait until a better time. But your eager eyes didn’t give her much of a chance for either.
So, she sucked it up and cleared her throat. “We should stop this, friends with benefits, thing.”
It took a moment for you to wrap your head around it, honestly. Even for a moment, you thought she meant that you guys could become something more. But in the bittersweet expression and look in her eyes, you quickly realized how wrong you were.
But instead of saying anything, you clenched your jaw, sitting up for a moment. You didn’t move, still trying to process her words. Maddy still watched you, cautious to the possible yelling that might ensue, but there was nothing. You sniffled, wiping your nose and rubbing your eyes before standing to your feet and quickly slipping your pants on.
Maddy should say something. She should tell you that you two could still be friends, but she just didn’t know madly in love you had fallen in love with her. She didn’t know that this sudden change hit you a lot harder than would be expected. So, all she could do was watch you gather your things into your arms, not even wasting time to get a shirt on and your socks on before you were exiting her room.
For 3 weeks, Maddy was given nothing but radio silence. Whenever there was school, she saw your car, but never you. It was like you were a ghost and went unnoticed by her whenever you did actually show your face. You were far quieter and went under her radar.
When people asked why you weren’t around as much anymore, she didn’t know how to respond because she didn’t know why. There was no explanation for your lack of presence with her and your guys’ friends. You just seemed to, disappear into thin air. And something about that worried Maddy as she sat awake at night for three whole weeks waiting for something from you.
It was the next week, Maddy came to school, still no sign of you anywhere. She was at her locker, not listening to anything being talked about between Lexi and Kat. Mind still fixated on the genuine hurt you had in your eyes the night prior to her breaking things off. It was your silence that unnerved her the most. Just the silent nod and sniffle as you gathered your things and left. No outburst, no texts, no calls, just silence.
So, when she finally pulled her head out of her locker to look down the hall, she was surprised to see you. But not just you, but you hovering over Cassie with a smile on your lips. Whatever was being said was indecipherable to Maddy, but she could see that Cassie giggled, hands holding the hem of your jeans and tugging slightly.
That should be me!
Who the hell does he think he is?
Maddy hadn’t even been able to realize her body was moving on its own before she heard the classroom slammed shut. “What the fuck, Maddy?”
The classroom was dark, lights turned off and shades pulled down. Whatever little light poked through was a dark blue hue that took her eyes a moment to adjust. That’s when she realized that she had been responsible for pulling you in here and away from Cassie. Something she was thankful for.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing talking to Cassie, Y/n?” She suddenly barked and you let out a scoff.
“Are you seriously fucking asking me that?” You questioned with an incredulous expression. “Now, you wanna get aggressive over something that doesn’t concern you?”
“It does concern me when it’s my best friend and my ex-best friend all mushy gushy together.” Maddy crossed her arms over her chest tightly, eyes narrowing at you. “You know what she did to me and here you are, slumming it around with some white bitch that just wants your dick.
You nodded to yourself, sniffling as you glanced towards the windows with a slight shake of your head. “I could say that you did the same thing, Maddy.”
The bluntness of your comment shocked Maddy, and when she was about to protest, you continued. “I mean, why the fuck does it matter either way?” You spat. “We’re doing our own stuff. You are still with your group of friends and I’m chilling with Cassie. What I do does not concern you anymore, Maddy.”
“It matters because you’re my best friend, Y/n!” She exclaimed. “I don’t want you getting hurt by someone who doesn’t deserve you. After what she did to McKay and me, why the hell are you willing to risk that? Why are you willing to hurt me?”
“‘Cause I thought it was over,” you said. “Me and you, remember? You ended it, not me! I’m not the one hurting you. You’re making yourself feel that way because you can’t handle the idea of me moving on from you and gambling on someone who may actually make me happy.”
Maddy inhaled sharply, offended and hurt that you would say such a thing. “You don’t mean that.”
You laugh humorlessly. “Maddy, you had me chase after you for months since you and Nate broke up,” you explained. “I fiend over the possible idea of being with you, but all you did was use me for comfort. You didn’t want anything more than sex.”
Whatever pent-up emotions that you had been bottling were pushing the cap off and finally rising to the surface. If only Maddy knew that this hurts you more than it hurt her. “Face the facts, you are the villain in this situation.” Maddy’s eyes welled up with tears, staring up at you as you held nothing but resentment and hate towards her. “Own that shit and fucking accept it!”
And before she knew it, you walked past her, exiting the classroom with the door slamming shut behind you. The volume of the slam had her flinching, hugging her body closer to retain some form of structure with her emotions.
It was over and she was the cause of it.

love your work! it’s astonishing to read such a piece 🙌
this request can be a bit triggering to specific people, but if you deny it then that’s alright! the request is a lexi x black!male! reader where Lexi and some of the girls (maybe cassie, Jules, and rue?) are at another carnival again and as Lexi waits at the end of the ride for the girls, someone keeps harassing her and she’s afraid because the girls are taking too long? whilst she’s afraid, her first thoughts are to text the reader (who is with fez and ashtray selling weed) to come and help her. but what she doesn’t know is that reader had already been pissed off from someone trying to sell them wack shit- so when he gets a text from Lexi about the situation, he’s there within a second protecting her and pulling her and the girls away over to where he and fez have their “pretzel stand” set up. maybe even after he drives Lexi and Cassie home that night and Lexi gives him some comfort that she was okay and nothing would never happen because she knew he’d be there.
Again with a great request! Thank you!

DNI IF YOU’RE SENSITIVE TO THE WARNINGS ABOVE!
The carnival was infested with families, teenagers, and small children. Neon lights glowing brightly alone with other natural light bulbs inside small games and and large rides. It was one of the only times that Highland seemed tolerable for a night and Lexi had needed to go to it again. Last years was pretty good and she also still needed to somewhat be there for her sister despite what she did to Maddy.
Music filled the night air with the addition of people conversing and laughing about whatever. A cold chill dancing past every corner and nipping at her skin, a subtle comment at the fact that the short-sleeve she chose would’ve been better with the addition of a jacket or sweater. Somewhere down the line, Lexi had stopped giving paying attention and kept a keen out for a familiar face that made bubbles of a crush pop in her stomach.
“Looking for someone?” Cassie inquired, a hint of teasing nature in her words.
She and everyone else at school knew exactly the person Lexi was looking for. Trying to spot that spotless and smooth dark skinned boy that haunted every thought that popped in her head. She knew you would be here with Fez and Ashtray, so she was hoping to at least say hi once throughout the night. That was the most she was expecting to occur with you being busy trying to get your money up.
“She’s looking for her boyfriend.” Jules stated.
“Her very hot boyfriend.” Rue added, earning shocked looks from the other three girls. “What? Is it bad that I can acknowledge someone is hot?”
Lexi rolled her eyes, slightly amused by the conversation shift focusing on you. “He’s not my boyfriend,” she stated. “I just want to say hi to him if we run into him.”
The three girls scoffed, knowing damn well that Lexi wanted more than just to greet you. They swear if you two were alone, she would latch herself to you and spill every dirty secret from her mind to have you. It was painfully obvious by the way she talked about you sometimes. But they didn’t judge as it was far more amusing to watch interactions with the two of you.
As they continued to walk through the carnival, stopping at a few mini games, Lexi kept a watchful out. Still trying to engage with her friends and sister as they moved through. Well, that all went out the window when she saw Fez at the Pretzel Stand from last year. She didn’t wait for the others as she quickly made her way over, coming to open window where Fez was scrolling through his phone.
Almost like he knew what she was going to say, Fez sighed. “He’s in the back,” he said. “Just go around and to the second door. He’ll be in there with Ash.”
She nodded before telling him to keep a watchful eye out for Rue to make sure they didn’t wander off without her. Moving around the side of the trailer and walking towards the second door. There was the faintest sound of laughter and people speaking. So, with caution, she turned the handle and opened the door.
A cloud of smoke hit her face, causing her to back up and cough profusely. Hearing the sound of footsteps with the door creaking open. “Shit, Lexi. You good, sweetheart?”
Your voice filled her senses as she waved her hand, holding her chest to try and breath properly. “I’m fine,” she said hoarsely. “How can you even breathe in there? I thought I was suffocating.”
Standing up and swallowing the lump in her throat, she listened to let out a tiny laugh as you rubbed her back soothingly. “Well, I’ve been smoking for most my life,” you stated. “I can tolerate it.”
In many places and events, Lexi had been around whenever you were smoking with Fez. It didn’t bother her and smell had been something she’d gotten used to. But the fact that you smoked in a room where you could barely see a foot in front of you and with Ashtray who was only 13, it freaked her slightly.
When she seemed regrouped and okay, you raised a brow. “So, what’s up?” You inquired. “Need anything from me?”
“Nope,” she smiled. “Just wanted to swing by and say hello. I didn’t know if we would see each other for the rest of the night and I wanted to see how you were doing.”
That made you raise a brow and let out a chuckle. “That’s it? You just wanted to say hi?” You blew a raspberry. “Here I was hoping for a kiss on the cheek from my favorite girl.”
Lexi’s cheeks heated as she looked away bashfully. No matter how many times she’s been a victim of your affection, she could never get adapt to it. It left immobile at completely at her mercy. She wouldn’t have it any other way.
She had yet to notice the slight shift from you, but when she did, her cheeks brightened. As you were taking off your sweater, the hem of your shirt had lifted up revealing your defined abs. Lexi couldn’t help tilting her head slightly, lips parting at the noticeable droplets of sweat slithering over each muscle and cascading down the valley in the center.
Oh, what she would do to have that under her.
Handing your sweater, you offered a smile. “It’s cold out. Wear this to keep yourself warm.”
Taking it in her hands, she could feel the heat radiating from the fabric. “What about you? Aren’t you going to be cold?”
You wave her off with a smile as you grabbed a blunt from behind your ear. “I’ll be fine, Lexi.” You motioned to the sweater in her hands as you began to light your blunt. “Try it on.”
Reluctantly, she did as you asked. Right when her head passed the hem of the sweater, your scent invaded her senses. A slight buzz running through body from how strong it had been, which she wasn’t complaining. And when she got her arms through the sleeves and hole at the top, she was greeted by the side of you staring at her intently. Lips pulled into smile as you looked her up and down. From the skinny jeans and your massive sweater hugging her frame, she looked beautiful.
“You look so fuckin’ adorable, Lexi. Come here.” Almost like you had a string attached to her limbs, she stepped towards you instantly. Looking up at you innocently as you grabbed the hood and placed it on her head. Funny enough, the edge fell past her eyes which made you laugh. “Yeah. Definitely adorable.”
Resisting the urge to smile widely at the praise, Lexi pulled the hood out of her eyes and looked up at you. “Thank you. It’s warm.”
“That was what I was hoping for,” you laughed. “You can keep it. I got like, twenty other ones.”
“That I’ll likely steal.”
“Yeah, it’s not like you have 3 of my other ones.” You smiled. “Another one can’t hurt, right?”
Lexi licked her lips as she stared at your beautiful eyes. She wasn’t sure and couldn’t count on how many hands she’d gotten lost in them. They were so alluring and captured her every time you two caught each other’s gaze. Then your lips were so full and soft that she just wanted to have a little taste. Just a tiny kiss. Just so she could-
“Lexi! Stop staring at Y/n and let’s go!” Rue yelled, snapping the pair’s gaze to her. “Unless you two were going to kiss, then ignore me.”
Internally, Lexi was screaming while she stared at her friend with wide eyes. Silently pleading for her to keep her mouth shut. Rue simply smirked and gave a wave to you, which you returned with a soft chuckle. “Love you too, Rue!”
“Oh, I know you, Y/n. Just use protection when you go down on my friend!” She said loudly, causing Lexi’s cheeks to heat up immensely. “I don’t need to hear you got her pregnant.”
You snickered as Lexi turned to you with red cheeks. “I’m sorry about her. She sometimes can’t keep her mouth shut and loves to tease me.”
A grin was given in response as you placed the blunt between your lips. Taking the girl’s shoulders and softly pulling her into a hug. “It was nice to see you, Lexi. Let me know if you need anything tonight and I got you.”
She nodded, savoring the small moment of your large frame capturing her smaller one before you placed a kiss on the crown of her head. “Go have fun.”
And that was what she did. The girls noticed that right after her interaction with you, she had been engaging a bit more with them and the rides. Your appearance had only brightened up her mood and allowed her to do what she came here to do and that was to have fun.
But when they got on a ride she had been honestly afraid of, she opted to sit out for that one. Watching them get on as Cassie teased her from the seats they got on. She rolled her eyes in amusement as turned and glanced around. Trying to pass the time that she had to fill.
“What’s up, sweetcheeks?” A voice said as she spun around to find a boy who seemed around her age walked over. Her body tensed up at the way his eyes roamed her body. “You single?”
“No.” She answered easily. “I’ve got a boyfriend. He’s coming back from grabbing us drinks.”
The boy glanced around, chuckling slightly as he extended his arms out by his sides. “Well, he ain’t here. Why would he leave such a nice piece like you alone?”
Lexi could feel her heart thundering against her chest as she looked down at her phone and began to quickly send you a text. Hoping that you would read it and wasn’t too high to have passed out or unable to acknowledge the text.
She tensed up again when the boy chuckled. “Is that him your texting? I guarantee he’s probably fucking another girl.” He took a step forward and Lexi stepped back in response. “But I could make you feel better than he ever has.”
“Kid, you pay the amount needed. We ain’t givin’ out handouts for 5 bucks, bro.” The kids stood outside the window had been insufferable and downright annoying for the past 3 minutes they’d been there. Trying to convince you and Fez to let them get a gram for 5 bucks. Did you guys look like some clowns or some shit.”
One of the kids, that you had named Kyle from his perm and Louis Viton outfit that did not match at all. Especially with the Jordan 1 Bio Hacks that looked fucking horrendous. “Oh, c’mon, man.”
“Don’t c’mon man me, kids.” You pointed at him warningly. “Get your white asses back to your Subaru’s or else I’m going to kick your asses.”
Kyle and his friend scoffed and walked away and into the crowds. There already had been two girls earlier that offered themselves for some weed, which damn near made you throw up. So, the addition of two rich white kids had pissed you off to the point you wanted to leave as soon as possible.
You sighed, sitting back in one of the chairs with a groan. Running a hand down your face as you felt your phone buzz in your pocket. Grabbing it, the notification from a text message by Lexi had your body tensing.
Sweets: Some guy is harassing me. Please help, i’m by the fireball!!!
“Let me show you a good night.” The boy hadn’t backed off and hadn’t taken no for an answer. Lexi’s body recoiling from each time he reached out to touch her. Checking the ride to see it still going with the girl’s screaming. Hurry up, please.
When she hadn’t expected it, the boy had grabbed her by the hips. “Don’t fucking scream.”
Right when he was about to pull her away, the boy yelped when two hands grabbed him by the shoulders and yanked him back. Lexi trembled in fear as she watched you grab the boy by the scruff of his shirt and pull away. Knocking up dirt with each kick the boy produced to try and get free.
For whatever reason, she followed you as you pulled him behind some tents and tossed him into a wall. “Hey, hey, man. I wasn’t going to-”
He couldn’t say a word as you pressed the muzzle of your Glock 19 to his cheek. “You wanna finish that sentence, white boy?” You inquired. “I heard you were touching, my girl. Now, she must’ve told you that she was taken, right?”
The boy nodded quickly as you hummed, nodding to yourself. “Yeah. So, why the fuck you harassing her and shit?” You asked. “Do you want to die, ‘cause I have no problem putting a bullet right here.”
You watched the boy fumbled over his words, eyes frequently flickering to the gun resting perfectly in your hand. Muzzle digging into his pale complexion and creating a red blemish on where it pressed to his skin.
When he couldn’t get anything out, you groaned. “I’m sick of this shit.” With a good and hard swing, you brought the butt of the pistol down onto the boy’s temple, sending him flying to the dirt. Knocked out and immobile to do a single thing.
Lexi watched you stare down at the boy, jaw clenched as you internally debated stomping his head in. But thankfully, you didn’t and walked towards the girl. “You okay?”
She could only opt for a nod, completely speechless by the scene she had just witnessed. Lexi wasn’t scared and if anything, she found it oddly endearing that you showed up within seconds to save her.
With her response, you nodded as you placed the Glock in the back of your pants with you adjusting your shirt to conceal the weapon. “Alright, I want you and the girls near me and Fez. I want you where I can see you.” You said, hands resting on her cheeks as she stared up at you with a loss of words. “Is that all right with you?”
Again, she gave you a nod and you smiled. After wrangling in the girl’s and not giving them any further info on what had happened besides a guy hitting on Lexi, they agreed to stay near you. And for the rest of the night, whilst you were selling, you kept a watchful eye on the girl. Never letting her get out of your line of sight for too long.
It carried on like that for the rest of the night until it was time to pack up with the carnival closing. Fez told you to go with Lexi and the other girls, drive them home. You did so willingly with Lexi taking the passenger seat and where you had taken her hand and held it tightly.
You didn’t say a word for the entire ride. Merely listening to the other three talk about everything they had done that night. Offering a smile occasionally to not seem too off. But Lexi could see through it and decipher the dead look on your face to be you silently cursing yourself. She decided not to pry or annoy you.
After dropping Rue and Jules off, you stopped at the curb of Lexi’s house. “Thanks for the ride, Y/n.” Cassie smiled as she got out.
“Don’t mention it.” You gave a smile in return as Lexi rolled down her window to look at her sister.
“Hey, I’ll be inside in a minute.” Of course, Cassie nodded and went inside alone.
Leaving you and her in a silent car with your fingers still interlocked. She shifted in the seat and turned her body towards you. “Thank you for tonight.”
“You scared the shit out of.” Your honest answer had surprised Lexi as you sighed. “I don’t like the idea of anything bad happening to you. So, I’m sorry if what I did to that kid scared you or something. I just get protective when it comes to you.”
Lexi felt her lips twitch into a smile as she shook her head. “I wasn’t scared because I know you would’ve been there to help.”
You turned to her, seeing that genuine look of innocence and pure honesty. To this day, you wondered how the hell someone as beautiful and caring as Lexi came into your life. Crazy how Rue swinging by to buy weed ended with you falling for the girl’s best friend.
She smiled and quickly leaned over, pecking your cheek, leaving you breathless. “Thank you, Y/n. Have a good night.”
You watched as she got out of the car and went inside. Your lips slowly twitching into a smile as you shook your head. Pulling from the curb and heading home. Lexi Howard haunting every thought that appeared in your mind.
